"Aaachooo!"

Luis was in a sleeping position in his room in a blanket shivering and sneezing, it was clear that Luis...was sick

"How can you make crazy futuristic gadgets like it's nothing and not have something for a fever?" Asked Luz as she put the ice pack on Luis's head

"Firstly, this is a magic thing, secondly, I'm not good at biology which caused me to suck at genetic engineering" said Luis in a hoarse voice frowning "like that serpenduck on the wall, it's breathing milk all over the place, it thinks it's sneaky, but it can't fool me"

"Whaaa?...ok, you're hallucinating" said Luz rubbing her tempels before giving her twin a kiss on the forehead "make sure to get tons of rest and if you need something, ask Tess or Pete to help you out until i come back from school, Eda is there too okay? bye!"

Then Luz left the room shutting the door behind her, then she opened it again

"You sure you don't want me to stay with you?" Asked Luz in concern

"Tess!"

Instantly a metal rope was wrapped around Luz's waist before pulling her away with a perfectly cut scream

Luis then looked at the floor to the right of him, his eyes flashing red

"What are you looking at?" Said Luis frowning as he stared at the floor

Then, out of nowhere, a snake with a duck's head appeared

"Quack" said the serpenduck before firing milk at Luis's face from it's mouth

"Hey! Stop that!" Said Luis frowning as he lightly hitting the serpenduck making it disappear again before rubbing his face in his blanket "darn milk"

Then suddenly the door was opened and Tess the small tank like robot that has a screen instead of a cannon and Pete the stone wyvern palisman jumped into the room cheerfully...Tess couldn't actually jump though

"Finally!" Said Tess happily barging into the room

"A day about just us" said Pete happily as he flew next to Luis

"With no interruptions from anyone what so ever" said Tess happily twirling around

"Sorry to interrupt but i need your help!" Said Gemma from the glass ball that Luis had on his stomach

"Not again!" Said Pete in frustration as he hit the floor with his face

"I really need to find out how to intercept that signal" said Tess in frustration

"...aachoo!... ignore them" said Luis in a hoarse voice as he looked at Gemma who was also in a sleeping position in bed

"You look awful...are you sick?" Asked Gemma raising her brow as she had only one eye for now which looked more like surprise than anything

Before Luis could speak, Tess and Pete intervened

"Yup, he's sick, and has to stay in bed" said Tess as he sat between Luis and the glass ball

"Doctor's orders!" Said Pete as he flew on top of Tess

"Get off me you t-ta-tachoo!" Said Luis in a hoarse voice

"Well, can you tell someone else to come, I'm kinda...about to die if someone doesn't come...right now" said Gemma who somehow didn't move a inch during the entire call "I'm trying not to freak out right now, but I'm having a meltdown on the inside, so please help, fast"

"What?!" Asked Luis in shock

"I_" Gemma couldn't finish a word before the screen was broken from her side cutting the connection

"Gem!" Said Luis staring at the black screen "we have to go!"

"No! You're sick! You stay in bed! We'll ask Eda to go instead" said Tess calmly

"Would you trust Eda with your life?" Asked Luis frowning

"Absolutely!" Said Tess with confidence

"Would you trust Eda with MY life?"

"...i wouldn't go that far" said Tess avoiding eye contact "but...mayyyybeee?"

"Not good enough for me" said Luis getting up from bed "Pete, take me a-a-achooo! Away!"

"I'm not sure this is a good idea" said Pete scratching his head

"Do you ha-haachoo! Have anything better?" Asked Luis frowning

Pete shrugged and the rest of the staff flew to him and went under Luis as Pete took his place on the staff

"I can't believe this" said Tess tiredly "wait for me!"

Tess then went to Luis and formed a metal bed that stuck to the staff under him so he doesn't fall off of Pete

And then they flew towards Gemma's house

"I'm here!" Said Luis as he kicked Gemma's room's door open before tripping inside

The room had many many potions, everywhere, lined up neatly

"Are you okay?!" Asked Gemma worriedly from her bed where she was encased in a red crystal that was growing in front of them, it also stabbed through the glass ball, Gemma was wearing a red turtle neck shirt with black pants

"I'm..fine" said Luis using Pete as a cane to stand up "..so what's the pro...how did this happen"

Luis saw the crystal encasing Gemma

"...I may or may not have eaten a cursed crystal by accident" said Gemma blushing in embarrassment

"...you eat crystals?" Asked Tess in confusion

"They're just so tasty" said Gemma moving her hair to cover her face without using her arms

"How do we stop it?" Asked Pete in confusion

"There's a shrinking potion on that shelf, you have to use it to go into my stomach to destroy the original crystal" said Gemma pointing at the shelf "I tried to destroy it myself and now I have an eye, a few limbs stuck and some copies of myself in my crystal filled stomach"

".. let's just get it done" said Luis tiredly as he reached for the shrinking potion

"Wait!" Said Tess "let me try removing myself first"

Luis shrugged and so did Gemma...she didn't but she gave a similar gesture

Tess then tried to remove the crystal for ten minutes before giving up

"Rea-reaaachoo! Ready?" Asked Luis shivering

"Maybe we shouldn't let him into your body" said Tess in concern

"My kind doesn't get sick, please just hurry" said Gemma as the crystal grew further

Luis then splashed the shrinking potion on them, and they shrunk shortly after

"Shouldn't we have done it closer to her?" Asked Pete and Luis face palmed which led to him falling on his back "I'll just carry us there"

And as he did so Tess frowned sadly away from their eyes

Once they were inside Gemma's body she created a small copy of herself to accompany them

Luis turned Pete into a rocket launcher like energy weapon with Pete's head as a nozzle

Tess frowned sadly as she saw that, before having a determined look on her face

She instantly sped forward, leaving Luis and Pete behind

"Wait! A-a-aaachoo! Tess!" Said Luis rubbing his runny nose

"She's not gonna listen" said Pete

"We need to go after her, that thing doesn't mess around" said Gemma worriedly

"Right!" Said Luis with determination "also Pete, can you turn a part of you into a walking stick or a cane, holding you on my shoulder is tiring"

"Are you calling me fat?"

Luis and Gemma glared at him

Pete sighed before he turned into a weapon with walking cane

Then they went after Tess

"I'll get this done myself and we'll finally have some time together without interruptions" said Tess smiling "without school, without crazy friends, just us and occasionally Pete, and hey! If i get this done then maybe he'll praise"

Tess then continued forward through the crystalized stomach of Gemma

She was able to see the original!

All she had to do is destroy it an_

Abomination like crystal monsters rose from the ground to stop Tess from doing anything

Tess did her best to avoid and miss them and only tried to attack the core crystal knowing she'd fail like last time if she attacked them

But somehow, the abomination blocked them, every time, no matter how much she hid it or tried to outmaneuver them

"It's like they know where I'm gonna attack before I do it" Said Tess angrily before realizing that an abomination got too close to her "oh no"

The abomination raised it's fist and crushed Tess...or crushed the location where Tess was

"I got ya" said Gemma with Tess in her arms as she got away from the crystal abomination

Luis hit them with the Petey cannon (Pete chose the name)

They melted from the attack, but the core made them grow back again

"So, Tess, why did you run away again?" Asked Luis angrily

Tess stayed silent

"Do you know how worried I wa-aaachoo was!" said Luis which confused Tess, she could just move into Luis's phone if her body was destroyed "signals are messed up in this place, you would've been dead for real! Why did you do tha-tha-thaaa-that"

Tess then realized her mistake, she then started speaking

"...I just wanted to spend time with you, you've been so busy lately that the only time I could spend time with you is when you're sick, I wanted to do the things we used to do together, like chess and messing with the government"

"Well, why didn't you just say so, I'm a social disaster, I don't get those hints!" Said Luis firing at the crystal abomination as they got closer "why do you think I made you?"

"...good point"

"Yeah! And I wouldn't mind at all! I'm not competing for him or something" Said Gemma frowning as she took them away from the abominations "geez! you guys are heavy"

"Hey! I'm built different!" Said Pete angrily

"Well, if everything else is dealt with, let's a-a-achoo! A-a-aaachoo!"

"Let's take down that thing?" Said Gemma in confusion and Luis nodded as he sneezed a third time

And they began moving, Gemma carried Luis around as he fired energy balls from the Petey cannon

Tess was trying distract the crystal abominations using small attacks

And eventually, through some luck, they made it to the core

Luis tried to fire but an arm that came from the core set his arms to aim away from the core

Gemma tried to attack it herself but the same happened to her

Then an axe crystal rose from the core with an arm

Gemma was expecting the worst, but Luis was just about to sneeze

And after he sneezed on the core, it stopped a little, Luis sneezed over and over again to the point that Gemma thought she should really make him some medicine

Eventually, the core melted from the negative magic in the sneezes, and all the crystals disappeared

"You really sneezed it all out back there didn't you?" Said Gemma cheerfully

"Headache" said Luis tiredly

"He's asking if you have anything for headaches" said Pete "At least I think so"

"Want a device that turns off your pain receptors?" Asked Tess worriedly "no, it might make it worse, how about some tea, it might ignite the part of you that secretly wants to colonize the boiling isles"

"Sure"

"Don't worry Luis, I'll make you a potion to deal with that fever, I know all the ingredien_" said Gemma before accidentally firing something blue from her hand in Luis's face

"Ow"

"Oh my titan! Are you okay?" Asked Gemma worriedly checking Luis whose face was covered in blue liquid

"... actually ...I feel great!" said Luis before giving a light sneeze "not the greatest, but great, what did you throw at me?"

"I don't...let me try" said Gemma concentrating before a small orange gem was fired from her hand, she crushed it and some fire was made

She looked at Luis who was staring at the fire, then she looked at Tess

Gemma kicked them out to explore this new power alone and encouraged Luis to play with Tess

Luis returned home semi okay to see that Gus and Willow were at the owl house

And Willow was very...not sober

Luis ignored everything and played some chess with Tess
