Sam and Dean stare at each other, wondering why they would need to see different possible futures. Castiel smiled at himself, happy that Dean was living a semi-normal life. Crowley wondered why he was even here, and Bobby just pondered the fact that multiple futures existed. Jack was still Hugging his father, but no one could blame him. He was just born recently.

(Inside the barn, facing off with the vampires. They begin fighting, trading kicks and punches with Sam and Dean each beheading one of the vampires before being overtaken. Sam is unconscious and as Dean is being held down by the two remaining vampires, a woman walks over to him.)

"Hey Sammy, Is that Jenny?" Dean asked, gesturing at the woman. "Dean, I'm unconscious and you're being held down by what seems to be vampires. This isn't really the time to ask if I recognize a person from 10 years ago." Dean just chugged his beer that had shown up out of nowhere.

DEAN

Well, I know you.

Jenny.

(Flashback to episode 1.20 Dead Man's Blood where Sam and Dean, on their first vampire hunt, find Jenny, a woman who was turned into a vampire.)

(Chuckling) Son of a bitch.

"Wow so you let them cuss but not me? I see how it is stranger! Favoritism! Just you wait until I get my hands on you. You son of a Female Dog! Fudge you!" Dean yelled in anger at the screen. The rest of the gang just rolled their eyes.

JENNY

Hey, Dean.

DEAN

(As Dean stands up, he looks over Jenny's shoulder and he sees Sam, still lying on the ground, reaching for a machete that was dropped during the fight. Dean tries to stall Jenny to give Sam time to get the machete)

Well, look at you.

(Dean looks at the vampire standing next to him)

You know, we tried to kill each other back in the day.

Yeah.

This is so weird.

It's like running into somebody in high school, you know?

Somebody you don't want to see.

Well, you look good.

You do.

I mean, a little dead, but, uh, good.

JENNY

Thanks.

DEAN

So, what, are you, like, the, uh... The big boss or something?

JENNY

No.

I just called dibs.

"Were you seriously flirting with the vampire?" Sam asked his brother with a bit of humor. "I seem to be distracting her so you could attack them without them noticing.

(Jenny bares her fangs and Sam chops her head off from behind. Sam, Dean, and the vampires start fighting again. Sam eventually beheads the vampire he is fighting, leaving Dean fighting with the very large vampire. The Vampire grabs Dean by the jacket and pushes him against a post that has a metal bar sticking out of it. As he continues to push Dean against the post Sam comes up from behind and beheads him. The vampire falls to the ground.)

Cas sucks in a deep breath and has a feeling he knows what's about to happen. Dean throws a glance at Cas but decides he imagined it. Jack knows he didn't imagine it and hugs his father even tighter.

(Sam walks over to Dean and is putting his machete back in its case, not looking directly at Dean)

SAM

Alright.

Let's go find those kids, get them outta here.

DEAN

Sam...

I don't... Mm.

I don't think I'm going anywhere.

SAM

What?

What are you talking about?

DEAN

There's something in my...Something in my back.

It feels like it's right through me.

(Sam stands directly in front of Dean, a few inches apart, and reaches around to Dean's back. As he brings his hand back out, it is covered with blood.)

Sam, realizing what was going on, grabs his brother tightly. Dean lets Sammy, his little brother, hug him closely, as they watch the scene play out with anticipation for the worst.

(Dean groans)

Oh, God.

SAM

Alright. Um...

Hold on. Okay. Uh, I got you.

DEAN

No, no, no, no, no.

Don't... Don't... Don't move me.

Don't move me.

It feels like this thing's holding me together right now.

Just give me...

Just give me a minute.

SAM

Yeah.

Um... alright.

I'll call for help. I'll get the first-aid kit.

Hearing himself stutter and struggle to speak, Dean lets go of any hope for this version of him. He was going to die in his brother's arms, and there was nothing Sam could do about it.

(Sam takes out his phone and moves to walk away)

DEAN

Sam, Sam! Sam...

Stay wi...

Stay with me.

Can you stay with me, please?

SAM

Okay.

Yeah.

DEAN

Okay.

Okay.

Uh... right.

Alright. Listen to me.

Um...

You get those boys and you get them someplace safe, alright?

SAM

Dean...

We (motioning with his hand to himself and Dean) are gonna get them somewhere safe.

DEAN (shaking his head)

No.

You knew it was always gonna end like this for me.

It was supposed to end like this, right?

I mean, look at us.

Saving people, hunting things...

It's what we do.

SAM

No, no.

Stop, okay?

Just... Just stop.

Eileen couldn't hold back the tears anymore, so she turned and joined the hugging pile. Cas, overcome with emotions as well, turned and hugged Dean opposite of Sam so that Dean was practically hidden by his family and friends.

DEAN

It's okay.

It's okay.

It's good.

It's good.

We had one hell of a ride, man.

SAM

I will find a way, okay? I-I will find another way.

DEAN

No, man. No.

No. No, no, no, no.

No bringing me back, okay?

You know... You know that always ends bad.

SAM

Dean...

DEAN

Okay.

SAM

P-Please.

DEAN

I'm fading pretty...

I'm fading pretty quick, so... there's a few things that I need you to hear.

Come here.

(Sam moves closer and Dean puts his hand on the side of Sam's neck)

Let me look at you.

Yeah, there he is.

I'm so proud of you, Sam.

And there went Sam's Dam, as many tears swept across his face and onto his brothers shoulder, for it was too hard to watch his brother die again.

(Dean's hand is on Sam's shoulder and Sam is holding onto Dean wrist)

DEAN

You know that?

I've always looked up to you.

(Sam is getting emotional, trying not to cry)

Man, when we were kids, you were so damn smar... smart.

You never...

You never took any of dad's crap.

I never knew how you did that.

And you're stronger than me.

You always have been.

Hey, did I ever tell you... Did I ever tell you that night that, uh... that I ca... That I came for you when you were at school?

You know, when dad hadn't come back from his hunting trip?

SAM

Yeah, um.. Uh, the Woman in White.

DEAN

The Woman in White. That's right.

I must have stood outside your dorm for hours... because I didn't... I didn't know what... What you would say.

Sam broke down even more, which broke Dean's heart and crushed it into smithereens. It hurt to see his brother so upset. "I'm right here Sammy, I'm okay," he muttered quietly under his breath so that Sam could hear him.

(Sam is visibly crying)

I thought you'd tell me to... to get lost or get dead.

And I don't know what I would've done... if I didn't have you.

'Cause I was so scared.

I was scared, 'cause when it all came down to it, it was always you and me.

It's always been you... and me.

SAM (crying)

Then don't leave me.

Don't leave me.

I can't do this alone.

DEAN

Yes, you can.

SAM

Well, I don't want to.

DEAN

Hey.

I'm not leaving you.

I'm gonna be with you...

(Dean is crying as he places his fist over Sam's heart)

Right here... every day.

Every day you're out there and you're Li... And you're living and you're fighting, 'cause you...

You always keep fighting.

You hear me?

I'll be there every step.

I love you so much.

My baby brother.

Oh, man.

Well, I did not think this would be the day.

But it is.

It is, and that's...

Man... that's okay.

I need you to... I need you to promise me.

I need you to...

To... to tell me... that it's okay.

I need you to tell me that it's okay.

Bobby, who had made it through the whole scene, lost it here. Of course, Dean wouldn't leave without Sam's permission. That idjit. Crowley, who seemed to be the only person who wasn't crying, gently grabbed Bobby's hand. Startled, Bobby sharply turned and stared straight into Crowley's apologetic eyes.

(Sam looks away, shaking his head, crying)

SAM

No.

DEAN (softly pleading)

Look at me.

Look at me.

I need... I need...

I need you to tell me that it's okay.

I need you to tell me...

Tell me it's okay.

Dean lays back and allows both Cas and Sam to literally fall onto his chest. He wrapped his hands around their faces and smiled sadly. Jack's head is now on his father's lap, and he too has liquid falling out of his eyes.

(Dean's hand is on his chest and Sam reaches out and places his hand over Dean's)

SAM (through tears)

Dean...

it's okay.

You can go now.

(Dean places his other hand over Sam's and the boys lean their heads against each other)

DEAN

Goodbye, Sam.

Goodbye.

(Dean closes his eyes. As one last tear streams down his face, his head falls forward onto Sam's shoulder. Sam sobs as he holds onto Dean)

Silence spread across the room, occasionally broken by the odd loud sob or a random snort. Dean, touched by how much his family and friends care about him, let loose tears of his own. They love me so much. They care if I Live or Die. I Live for them. My family and friends are my purposes for living. Sammy… Sammy is my purpose for living. But I know that one day this will happen. I will die before my brother, and it will break his heart. I guess I should be glad I went out doing something I love. Hunting with my baby brother. Oh, Sammy, I'm so sorry.

After almost 30 minutes of mourning for the version of Dean that they saw die, they look up as the screen starts to change.

I am so very sorry that we had to start out with a sad ending. Don't worry, I will show you the rest later. For now, however, I acknowledge that you all have basic needs that you need to attend to, so if you need to eat something, the kitchen in the door to the left. The restrooms are connected to the bedrooms, which are the doors on the right. Do with those four bedrooms as you may. I apologize again for the heartache I have caused you, but you truly needed to watch this in order to see what happens next.

After struggling to read the words that swarmed in their wet and teary eyeballs, Sam, Dean, and Cas got up and headed to the Kitchen. Bobby and Crowley snuck off quietly into a bedroom, and Jack went to explore what the other rooms were. Eileen, on the other hand, went to choose a bedroom for her and Sam, because she needed to take care of her needs.

In the kitchen, Sam struggled to make some PBJs but gave up when Dean told him to sit at the table. Watching as Dean made his very own special recipe of PBJ's, Sam and Cas sat in silence, thinking sadly about what they had just seen. Suddenly, Cas broke the silence. "Do you think, now that we know how you - er - now that we know what happens, we could change it?" Sam just stared at Cas, for he seemed to be emotionally broken. Dean put sandwiches in front of the two boys and demanded them to eat. He practically had to force-feed them, however, because they couldn't make themselves eat anything. "I don't need to eat Dean, remember?" Dean just ignored Cas and kept force-feeding him, as if to get something off his mind. Cas then realized what Dean was doing. Dean wasn't just trying to feed them, he was trying to distract them and himself from what just happened. Sam just watched his brother carefully, not letting him out of his sight for a second. "Hey Dean, why is 6 afraid of 7?" Dean smiled sadly at Cas, and answered the question. "Because 7 ate 9 Cas, because seven 8 nine." Cas nodded his head slowly and started his rant about how he thought it was because 7 was a prime number. Dean listened to Cas half-heartedly, as he continued to force-feed Sam. When Jack entered the Kitchen an hour later after exploring every room and walking in on an unexpected - er - thing, he found Sam half-asleep in Dean's arms and his father staring into Dean's eyes.

I am so sorry. I am so sorry! I swear this broke my heart writing, but this needed to happen eventually, so I just decided to get it over with. So after they react to the ending of the finale, I'm thinking about having them react to other universes. Like one where Dean and Cas become Death, or where Dean becomes archangels. Now those ideas came from other Fanfiction writers, but I can't remember who. So if you are the one who wrote these AU's please tell me in the comments if I can use these ideas. Also, tell me so that I can give credit to you. Also, you might have caught onto some hidden subtext between some of the characters. Now I want to come outright and say it. I have yet to watch a full episode of Supernatural. That is because my parents have full access to Netflix and I can't watch stuff without their permission, even though I'm a responsible teenager. However, I have seen many things on Youtube, and it's kind of become an obsession of mine. For those who made it through this whole story so far, I'm so proud of you. Now let me go and do some homework/work around the house. Give yourself time to have feelings and cry. Alright, that's all. You guys try to have a great rest of your day now. Again so sorry about the heartache I just caused you guys. Umm, until next time I guess.

Carry on my wicked readers!
