The following afternoon, Courtney is waiting for Duncan.

Courtney (in her mind): "Hope Duncan gets here soon. I want to apologize. Since my talk with Bridgette yesterday, I've done a lot of thinking. I now think I can forgive him. I was awful to him. While the way he left was horrible, I gave him reasons to leave. He does feel bad for his actions. Maybe, I can forgive him. I still don't know if I can give him another chance. I'm more open now after thinking about what Bridgette said. However, I just don't know."

Suddenly, she hears someone knock on her door. She opens it and sees Duncan.

Courtney: "Hey Duncan."

Duncan: "Hey Courtney."

Courtney: "Come on in."

Duncan: "Thanks."

Duncan comes in and shuts the door.

Duncan: "So, what's up?"

Courtney: "After you left yesterday, I talked to Bridgette. She made me realize I treated you unfairly. Duncan, be honest. Was I really that awful to you?"

Duncan becomes nervous, but maintains his composure.

Duncan: "Yes."

Courtney frowns.

Courtney: "I'm sorry Duncan. I shouldn't have treated you like that. You and Gwen didn't hook up with Gwen in Action. The main reason I mistreated you was because I assumed you two hooked up, but I was wrong. I was also wrong to try to change you. I had no right to change you. That was a ridiculous list."

Duncan is shocked.

Duncan: "Never expected you to apologize Courtney."

Courtney: "Well. Bridgette got me to realize I was wrong."

Duncan's shocked expression disappears.

Duncan: "It's ok Courtney. I forgive you."

Courtney: "Thank you. If you can forgive me, then I think I can forgive you. I'm still mad at the way you left, but I can forgive you."

Duncan: "Thank you Courtney."

Courtney: "Duncan, a part of me wants us to get back together, but another part of me doesn't think that's a good idea because of how we ended. I don't know what to do." She says sad and confused.

Duncan: "We made mistakes, but we won't make those mistakes again. I want you back Courtney. However, I understand if you don't want to give us another chance."

Courtney: "I need to think Duncan."

Duncan: "take your time. Courtney, would you be willing to listen to Gwen if she apologizes?"

Courtney becomes angry.

Courtney: "She hasn't apologized yet. Even if she does, I can't forgive her. At least with you, I gave you reasons to leave. I, however, gave her no reasons to betray me."

Duncan: "Gwen made a mistake that she really regrets. She has been feeling guilty the entire time. She really wants to apologize. If you can find in your heart to forgive her, please do. Don't hold onto this anger. Please find a way to forgive her. She's not a bad person. She's a good person that made a mistake she really regrets. Please find it in your heart to forgive her."

Courtney's eyes roll.

Courtney: "Fine, I'll think about it. She first has to apologize."

Duncan: "She really wants to, but doesn't know how to approach you. Courtney, if you don't want to forgive her, I get it. However, at least hear her out."

Courtney: "Ok, I will."

Duncan: "Thank you. Alright, I should go. Thank you for apologizing and forgiving me." he says with a smile.

Courtney: "Same to you." She says with a smile.

Duncan leaves.

Courtney (in her mind): "That went well. I'm glad we've made peace. Never expected that to happen. Should I give us another chance? He really seems to have changed. I don't know. I need to think. Now, I'm waiting for Gwen. How can I forgive her for what she did? Does she really regret her actions? Duncan, Trent and Bridgette have all said she really is sorry. I need to listen to her apology if she ever tries to give one."

A few hours later, Courtney hears someone knock on her door. She opens it and glares. She hates who is at her door, but at the same time, has been waiting for this person.

Courtney: "Hello Gwen."
