The following morning Courtney walks downstairs.

Courtney (in her mind): "I've been doing a lot of thinking since after Gwen left yesterday. After doing a lot of thinking and going back and forth, I have decided to give my relationship with Duncan another try. We've acknowledged our mistakes, and I think we can work things out. I will give him a call later."

A few hours later Courtney gets a call from someone. She notices that it's Duncan, which makes her happy.

Courtney: "Hello?"

Duncan: "Hey, heard you worked things out with Gwen and are friends with her again."

Courtney: "Yes, I thought about what you, Bridgette and Trent said, particularly you. I felt that the three of you, you in particular actually, were right. So, I forgave Gwen and gave our friendship another chance."

Duncan: "That's great."

Courtney: "I'm glad you called. I was going to call you because I wanted to talk to you about something. You mind coming over?"

Duncan: "Sure, will be there soon. See you."

Courtney: "Bye."

Duncan hangs up, as does Courtney.

Courtney (in her mind). "I will tell him I want us to have another shot. Hope he still feels the same."

15 minutes later Courtney hears someone knock on her door. She opens it and sees Duncan.

Courtney: "Hey Duncan. Come on in." She says with a smile.

Duncan: "Thanks Courtney." He says with a smile.

He comes in and shuts the door. Courtney's expression becomes serious.

Courtney: "Ok, I've been doing a lot of thinking since after Gwen left yesterday. I thought about what Gwen, you and Bridgette told me. Duncan, our relationship was toxic and we ended horribly."

Duncan frowns.

Duncan: "I know C-"

Courtney: "Please let me finish."

Duncan nods in approval.

Courtney: "However, we've acknowledged our mistakes and we can be better."

Duncan's eyes somewhat widen and he stops frowning.

Duncan: "Does this mean you want to get back together?

Courtney: "I feel like we have changed and can be a better couple. So, yes." She says with a smile."

Duncan smiles.

Duncan: "Thank you C-

He is interrupted by Courtney pulling him into a kiss. She is kissing him on the lips. After ending the kiss, the two blush.

Courtney: "Duncan, I promise to limit my yelling and bossiness, and never physically abuse you or change you."

Duncan: "Thank you Courtney. I promise to limit my antics to an extent and be more upfront with you."

Courtney: "Thank you Duncan."

She kisses him on the lips.

Courtney: "So, you want to hangout?"

Duncan: "Sure."

They it on Courtney's couch.

Courtney: "So, you watching Revenge of the Island?"

Duncan: "Yea, nice to watch a season we are not on. I feel for the newbies. Chris is ruthless."

Courtney laughs. They continue to talk for a few hours. A few hours later Duncan, decides to go.

Duncan: Well, I got to go."

Courtney: "I will walk you to the door."

The two hold hands as Courtney walks him to the door.

Duncan: "Thank you for giving us another chance."

Courtney: "Thank you for being a reason for that."

She kisses Duncan on the lips.

Duncan: "Bye Courtney."

Courtney: "Bye Duncan."

He walks out of her house and Courtney shuts the door. She let's out a sigh of relief, as things worked out. She made peace with Duncan and Gwen, and got back together with Duncan. Now, she knows that things won't go wrong again.
