* I own nothing of Rizzoli and Isles I just have the privilege of playing with the characters for a while.

The sheriff stopped the ladies before they could leave the building, "What do you want us to do with Miller?"

Jane turned, "Pastor Catherine is going to bring him over to the café. She felt he would be more talkative there."

"She is probably right about that. Do you want my officer to join you?"

"No, but if you want to join us feel free."

"Nah... I think you'll get more out of him if I'm not there. Just yell if you need me to arrest him or anything." The man smiled and went back to his office as Jane nodded and opened the door for Maura.

"I'm surprised at you agreeing to this Jane."

"Well, I saw the panic attack he had and what Pastor Catherine said made sense and I realized I needed something else to get that awful coffee taste out of my mouth. I didn't think anyone could have worse coffee than Stanley at BPD café but they have perfected horrible over there." She said making a face and opening the café door for Maura.

"I've been telling you that tea is better for you Jane," the woman said smiling.

"You just couldn't resist that one could you Maur, " she said smiling back.

Jane ordered a pop and Maura ordered a cup of tea while they waited on Pastor Catherine and Randy to come over. It took them about fifteen to appear at the door of the café. Jane got up and slid beside Maura not wanting Pastor Catherine or Randy next to her girl. This thought was new to her. But she didn't have the time at the moment to process it through. That would have to wait till after this case probably.

"Are you feeling better Mr. Miller?" Maura asked with concern.

"Yes ma'am, thank you." The man said but didn't lift his eye to meet the woman's.

Jane had an idea after looking at the man, "Are you hungry Randy?" He sat there quiet with his head still down. "I'm starving myself," she said as she motioned for the waitress to come over.

"Yes ma'am what can I get for you?"

"I'll have a cheese burger with french-fries..." she stopped and looked at Randy "Do you like cheese burgers Randy? You better say now or these two will have you eating green leafy salads." The ladies laughed knowing what Jane was trying to do.

"Yes... I...uh...I like cheese burgers."

"Great... then that will be two cheese burgers with fries and two leafy salads two pops and two cups of tea." she figured the Pastor was a healthy leafy person like Maura.

Jane decided to keep the conversation casual until after the man ate.

"Randy... were you good friends with Alley?"

"I went to school with Alley ma'am. I was better friends with Bethany."

"Oh..."

"Yes ma'am . We were suppose to have gone on the mission trip with the church after graduation. But I saw her get into a cab instead of on the bus at the church. I followed her in my truck and saw that Alley picked her up at the bus station."

"Here you go two cheese burgers and two leafy salads." The waitress said handing them their food. "Can I get you anything else?"

Jane decided to wait before asking more questions because the man attacked the burger like he hadn't eaten in a couple of days. She figured that he couldn't say much anyway with his mouth full.

Jane continued questioning Randy after he ate his lunch and found out that Judy McDermott had planted the idea that it was God's will for Bethany to be his wife in life for many years. They also found out that he was in love with Bethany and followed her to Boston and stalked her everywhere she had gone, including the church. That is where he met Pastor Catherine. She helped him understand that God gave free will and doesn't choose your mate for you, nor will he change a persons feelings just because you want them in your life.

He told them that he learned that it was the goal of obtaining Bethany successfully as a mate that he loved not her really. But found out in the end he wanted a true friendship with both of the girls and was beginning to have one once he accepted their relationship and love for one another. That's why he never reported back to Judy after the first couple of weeks in Boston. He told them that is why he ran at the grave site. It was the first time he had seen Judy since leaving Stockbridge and that he was afraid of the woman.

After hearing the information on Judy McDermott, Jane couldn't hardly wait to get back to Boston. She felt she had finally enough to get to have the woman in an interrogation room. They now had proof that she knew that Bethany was living in Boston and was interfering with an on going investigation.

The ride home to Boston was quiet. Both women were lost in their thoughts, Randy's story was sad in many ways with all the abuse in his life. They both were glad that Pastor Catherine was going to bring the man back to Boston with her and see that he got a fresh start.

Okay the next chapter is what you have been waiting for. The show down with Judy McDermott and Jane Rizzoli. :)
