One morning at The Tree of Life, Kion went outside to get the newspaper, while the others were sleeping. He saw an invitation tied on it, he picked the newspaper, as he took and read the invitation he got surprised and shouted with joy: "OMG. I can't believe it."

He went inside the tree, came to The Night Pride and said: "Hey everybody, wake up, I have amazing news." As The Night Pride woke up, Rani asked: "What's going on Kion?" and Baliyo asked as well: "Yeah Kion, usually you don't wake us up." After he heard the questions, Kion answered: "I know but look at this" After he said that Kion showed the invitation to The Night Pride. It was saying:

An invitation to The Pride Lands' Royal Ball

The Tree of Life's Royal Family is invited + 4 Guests

It begins tomorrow at 18:00 PM

After everyone read the invitation Bunga said: "Woah. It's happening again." Rani asked confused: "What's this royal ball? And what does Bunga mean by happening again?" Kion was ready to answer, so he said: "You see, my parents make a royal ball every year and it's awesome. Unfortunately me and my friends couldn't come to the last one because me and Ono had to come here to get healed. But now I can come to this one and you, and your family can come too. What do say Rani?"

Rani felt surprised when she heard that and she said: "I would love to but who is going to do our duties and protect The Tree of Life while we're gone?" Surak took a step forward and said: "I will take your duties while you, Rani and Baliyo go to the ball" Baliyo gasped and said: "You want me to come with them?" and Surak answered with smile: "Sure, go and have fun with your sister on The Royal Ball." Baliyo smiled and said: "Thank you Uncle Surak." and Surak answered: "No problem, me and Nirmala will take it from here." Beshte said: "I would like to help you protect The Tree of Life, Surak." and Ono came closer and said: "Me and Anga can help you too." and Anga said: "Yeah. Protecting your kingdom is more important than The Royal Ball."

Rani liked the sound of that, so she said: "Alright then, we'll come to The Royal Ball with you Kion." Kion answered with a smile: "That's great. So, who shall we bring as our four guests?" Fuli answered: "I'll come and Azaad can come with me." After that Bunga said: "I will come too and I'll bring Binga with me, I promised to take her to The Pride Lands, and what better opportunity than The Royal Ball."

Kion: "Then it's settled, all we have to do is get prepared for The Ball and wait until is 16:00 PM."

Fuli and Bunga went to tell their soulmates about The Royal Ball, while Kion, Rani and Baliyo were preparing for The Ball.

Before it became 16:00 PM, Kion, Rani, Baliyo, Fuli, Azaad, Bunga and Binga were standing in front of The Tree of Life and as they were leaving Surak said: "Have fun at The Royal Ball."

Everyone: "We will. Bye."

As they left, they were travelling to The Pride Lands a day and an hour. Soon they reached The Outlands and they stopped when they saw Jasiri and Mizingo's Parlament carrying some party stuff. When Kion saw that he asked: "Jasiri? What are you and the vultures doing here?" Jasiri was surprised to see Kion, Rani, Baliyo and their friends. So she asked with a surprised and confused look: "Kion, what are you doing here?" Kion answered: "We're all invited to The Royal Ball." After he said that Kion showed Jasiri the invitation, after she read it. He put it back and asked again pointing at the vultures: "What are you doing with all this stuff?" Jasiri answered: "The Outlanders are getting bored, so decided to make them a party and your father gave us some party stuff he doesn't uses anymore." Kion said with a smile: "Cool. So where's Janja? I haven't seen you two apart ever since you became Leader of The Outlands."

Jasiri said: "Yesterday was Janja's birthday. I didn't know what to get him, so I asked King Simba to invite him, Cheezi and Chungu to The Royal Ball and he agreed. Kion said with a surprise: "Woah. My dad trusts Janja now." Jasiri said: "Yup. Janja did a lot of things to prove that he is good guy and that he can be trusted." Kion said: "Cool but why you didn't asked for your own invitation?" Jasiri answered with a smile: "Somebody has to keep control in The Outlands. Of course I could've asked Madoa to replace me but I don't want to exhaust her."

Kion: "Noble, but you don't have to do it always."

Jasiri: "I know"

Kion: "Come on everyone, let's go."

As the group continued to walk, Kion stopped for a little bit, turned to Jasiri and said: "Hey Jasiri"

Jasiri: "Yes Kion?"

Kion: "Have a great party"

Jasiri: "Thanks. Have fun at The Royal Ball."

Kion: "We will"

The group ran to the place where The Ball was performed. Everyone noticed that Vitani and her Lion Guard were protecting the place.

The Night Pride came to her and Vitani greeted them: "Kion, Queen Rani and guests. Welcome to The Royal Ball."

Kion: "I'm surprised my dad chose The Lion Guard to watch over The Ball again."

Vitani asked with confusion: "What do you mean again?"

Kion: "He once asked me and my friends to watch over The Ball because the lionesses were exhausted from doing a lot of job."

Vitani: "I see. Well, Simba asked me because the lionesses did a lot of good job he gave them a day off today. Anyway, I need you invitation."

Kion gave Vitani the invitation and she checked it.

Vitani: "Enjoy The Ball."

When The Night Pride entered the place the first one that greeted them was Kiara, when she saw Kion, she hugged him with joy.

Kiara: "Kion. I'm so happy to see you."

Kion: "Same here sis."

Kiara turned her attention to the others and greeted them one by one.

Kiara: "Hello your majesty."

Rani: "Greetings princess."

Kiara: "Hi Baliyo."

Baliyo: "It's good to see you Kiara."

Kiara: "I see that Fuli and Bunga are having a double date."

Bunga: "Yes we are."

Tiifu and Zuri came to greet Kion as well.

Tiifu: "Hi Kion. Long time no see."

Kion: "Hi Tiifu. Hi Zuri."

Tiifu and Zuri saw Baliyo and they both remember him from Kion and Rani's wedding. They both fell in love with him but they haven't told anyone except each other which caused a rivalry.

Tiifu said with a blush: "H-h-h-hi Baliyo."

Zuri got in front of Tiifu and said: "Hey handsome. Do you want to dance with me?"

Baliyo answered like a gentlemen: "Sure"

Zuri and Baliyo went to the dance floor and Tiifu said angrily: "Hey. I saw him first." She ran after Baliyo and Zuri. Bunga and Binga laughed at this.

Kion: "I noticed that they have a crush on him but I didn't know it was that serious. How much have they fought over him?"

Kiara: "Only when they think about him. But it doesn't happen much often."

Fuli: "I think Tiifu will win."

Azaad: "I think it will be Zuri."

Fuli: "Wanna bet."

Azaad: "Sure. Whoever wins will pick the names for our cubs."

Rani asked Fuli: "You're having cubs?"

Fuli: "No. But we're planning to have them someday."

Azaad asked Fuli: "Deal?"

Fuli shook Azaad's paw: "Deal"

After Azaad and Fuli ran to Tiifu, Zuri and Baliyo, Bunga asked Binga: "Wanna dance?"

Binga: "Sure but we will do all romantic type of dances."

Bunga answered with blushed face: "Okay"

Kiara, Kion and Rani smiled as they looked into each other. Kion saw his parents and said: "I see mom and dad." Kiara, Kion and Rani came to them and Simba greeted The King and Queen of The Tree of Life: "Hello Kion, Queen Rani."

Rani: "Hello your highness."

Nala: "I see that you got our invitation."

Kion: "Yes and I'm glad that I'm at The Royal Ball again."

Rani asked Simba: "So, how are The Pride Lands?"

Simba: "Much better since The Outsiders joined us. There are only a few foes but they are no match for our Lion Guard."

Kion: "I miss the day the days when I was The Leader of The Lion Guard."

Rani: "I know."

Simba: "How is The Tree of Life?"

Rani: "It got much safer now that Kion has mastered The Roar."

Kion was listening to his parents, sister and mate until he noticed that someone was missing.

Kion: "Wait a minute. Where is Kovu?"

Kiara: "He's at the bar having a chat with Janja. If you want, you can join them."

Kion: "Yes, I will."

Kion went to the bar and he got greeted by Kovu and Janja.

Janja: "Kion. It's good to see you."

Kovu: "Hi Kion. How's my favorite brother-in-law?"

Kion: "Very good Kovu. Thank you for asking."

Janja: "I guess you know why I'm here?"

Kion: "Yes, Jasiri told me everything. By the way, where are Cheezi and Chungu?"

Janja: "The fur-brains are with Makuu. He's been training them how to fight before The Ball."

Kion: "Cool. By the way Kovu, who's going to be the next Royal Mjuzi?"

Kovu: "Makini's cousin, Kukomaa."

Kion: "Makini has been telling me about Kukomaa once."

The barman came to Janja, Kovu and Kion. Kion was surprised to see that the barman was Badili.

Kion: "Badili?"

Badili: "King Kion. Long time no see."

Kion: "You work as a barman?"

Badili: "Yeah. I wanted to join The Ball and be helpful. Anyway, what can I offer you, your highness? Blueberry juice, orange juice, carrot juice?"

Kion: "Give me a Mega Mix Juice."

Janja and Kovu: "Same for us."

Badili: "Coming right up."

Janja: "What is a Mega Mix Juice?"

Kion: "It's a juice made from each fruit and vegetable in The Pride Lands."

Kovu: "It gives you a lot of vitamins but it makes you hyper energetic."

Janja: "Cool. I can't wait to try it."

After 10 minutes of waiting Kion, Janja and Kovu got their drinks. They drank them and they got hyper energetic. They ran to Kiara and Kion said quickly: "We need to run but we will be back." And the trio ran like a lightning. Rani asked with confused look: "What was that?"

Simba: "They must've drank a Mega Mix Juice. It charges you with a lot of energy."

As they continued to talk, Kion, Kovu and Janja came back and took over the dance floor and they hit it with their super energetic moves. When The Ball ended, Kion, Janja and Kovu were out of The Mega Mix Energy, Rani, Bunga, Binga, Baliyo, Fuli and Azaad called Kion and he left with them as he said goodbye to his family and friends.

While they were walking, Fuli said with laugh: "I remember when I had my first Mega Mix Juice. I made 1 000 000 walks around The Pride Lands."

Binga: "OK. But you can't do romantic moves like Bunga's."

Bunga said with a smile: "Binga, stop. You'll make me blush again."

Kion: "By the way Fuli. Who won the bet?"

Fuli said with disappointed face: "No one."

Azaad: "It turns out that Baliyo wants to marry a royalty just like you two."

Rani asked her brother: "How did Tiifu and Zuri took it?"

Baliyo: "They ran crying. But after they calmed down they stopped talking to me."

Kion: "Don't worry. They will forgive you."

Rani: "By the way Fuli. Since you and Azaad lost, who will be naming your future cubs?"

Fuli: "We had discussion about it and we decided that Kion should be naming our future cubs."

Kion: "Really?"

Fuli nodded and Kion said with a smile: "Thank you Fuli."

Fuli: "You're welcome."

Baliyo: "You know what? We should start our own ball at The Tree of Life."

Rani: "That's a great idea Baliyo."

Kion: "Yeah. I can't wait for it to happen."

Rani said with a smile: "Same here Kion. Same here."
