Harry Potter was awake counting down the seconds until his sixteenth birthday. When the clock stuck midnight, a sudden pain started. The pain grew so intense that Harry collapsed in pain. When Harry woke up, he felt different. He tried to sit up and moved his hand or what was supposed to be his hand in front of his face. Instead of being a hand, it was small, paw-like, and fuzzy. It was also very pale and almost white.
He finally managed to get onto his 'feet' on his bed. He walked over to his mirror and stared. Instead of being a black haired teenager with green eyes, he was a small white creature that resembled a plush toy. He tried to pinch himself in hopes that this was a dream. He then realized that this wasn't a dream and he was a plush animal. He tried not to scream as the reality of what happened settled in.
He started to panic once he realized what his so-called family and the Wizarding World would do to him. His family would hate him even more for being more of a freak and the Wizarding World would try to imprison or worse kill him for being a creature and a half-breed. Not to mention that he didn't even know what he was.
He got out some books about magical creatures in hopes of finding out what he was. He briefly scanned the books but found nothing. He put the books back under the loose piece of wood and then collapsed onto the bed in shook.
He started to wonder if he would be let back in Hogwarts because of this. He remembered Hermione saying something about creature inheritances at 16 for some witches and wizards but he didn't think it would happen to him. He also remembered Ron saying only Pureblood gits like Malfoy got them. He hoped his friends would still be his friends since he couldn't handle this all by himself especially without Hermione. He started to panic and realized one thing.
Even with everything that happened before to him, this was abnormal for Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived, 6th year Hogwarts student. And he knew this was going to end wrong. And yet this body felt so right. Well, let's prepare for the worse to come.

So this is a new story. This story was inspired by a story that I remember reading that had a similar premise but I don't recall the title or the author. If someone could find the story, I would appreciate it. Also where does this story belong? Enjoy this story. This story currently has a second chapter in progress.
