And so the next stage of our story begins- with some obvious readjustments. I hope you'll all enjoy. Now to the person who asked- I'm not going to start writing the Roman AU until I've finished the others, but it will be happening I promise. Just give it time. And to all the other reviewers I totally love you guys so much you always make me smile.
And again, what do people think of the idea of Bianca/Reyna.
Sorta poll for Sally's parentage/who she's a legacy of. I won't be including the vote for Vesta because she's a maiden.

Life hadn't been the same after the battle- Leo was more than willing to admit that. There was a gaping hole in everyone's lives and there was no way to easily fill it. But even if it felt like their world had ended, life had to move on.
He had thrown himself into his work- fixing Festus and building Beckendorf a new arm from scratch- he'd even managed to find Calypso again- which had been amazing- but- well, things weren't right and everyone knew it. He had nightmares often- waking up screaming because he was seeing Percy's limp body in Luke's arms.
Luke was worse than him- he rarely went out- unless he was at camp, and even then he spent most of his time sat on the beach, though he never turned any of their family away- which now included Ethan. That was the only way to get him to leave the beach, his cabin or his room- if one of the family needed him he'd be there without fail- any threat was dealt with brutally.
Even Ethan was included in the family now, and Luke was just as protective of him as the others. After Luke had told them the full story- or the parts of it that he'd managed to get out without breaking down, they'd accepted him and Sally had adopted him- and Ethan had taken it upon himself to look out for them all- since he owed Percy his life twice over.
Nico spent most of his time at camp- he rarely went to school now- Hades had ordered him to stay away from the Underworld. Percy would need time to settle, and it would do neither of them any real good for him to visit every day. So he spent his time with Will, shutting everyone other than the son of Apollo out. Leo was honestly pretty worried about him.
As for Annabeth and Rachel- something had broken in both of them. He'd heard them on the beach, on the evening after the battle, heard their sobs as they'd clung to each other like lifelines.
He honestly was pretty sure that they were the only things keeping each other from giving up- he was glad they had each other.
And Sally- she often burst into tears- and Leo knew it had come at the worst time- they'd all been told about the pregnancy when Sally had reach three months- and she was due in April- but there wasn't as much joy as there should be. There was too much pain and loss.
While they'd managed to find a new normal none of them would ever be the same and they all knew it, four months didn't sooth the grief.
He had to admit that even with Calypso back most of his smiles were faked- oh in private she could coax a smile or two from him but it was all just too much, too heavy for him. It was painful.
Maybe that was why, when Hera had appeared in his dreams and effectively kidnapped him in the middle of the night, taking his phone and dumping him at some Wilderness school, he'd decided to go along with it. He needed to get away, at least for a bit- and it wasn't like she'd left him any way to get in contact with his friends and family- his attempts to IM them had been blocked and when he'd tried to run away Hera had somehow zapped him right back to the school.
Any calls and texts he tried to send didn't reach anyone either- it was annoying to say the least but there wasn't much he could do. Hera wanted him where he was so that was that.
So he'd settled in- he'd even made a friend- Piper, who if he wasn't completely mistaken was a demigod and most likely a daughter of Aphrodite based on some of the stories she'd told him of how she'd ended up in the school
And then there was the trip to the Grand Canyon, that was when things started- though he had been surprised when a week before the trip Gleeson Hedge a Satyr Leo recognised from Camp, had shown up at the school- he'd seemed shocked to see Leo, apparently he'd been assigned to the Wilderness school to look for Demigods two weeks earlier but their paths hadn't crossed until then- that was the first sign that things were going to get weird fast- Leo had been at the school for over a month, this was the first sign of something changing. And to make things worse, Hera seemed to be stopping Hedge from contacting Camp too. It was infuriating.
And then it got even weirder. He'd stayed up late, working on some of his wings- thankfully Hera had let him have his toolbelt so he'd managed to work on them- a weird dream she'd sent him told him that he might need them, and he was wearing them under his normal clothes and his jacket- they were a lot more advanced than they had been.
That was why he'd fallen asleep on the bus. When he woke up he knew something was wrong almost instantly. He'd turned to look back at Piper and there was some boy there- around their age, he was asleep, his head resting on Piper's shoulder, clasping the girls hand in his sleep- he had pretty regal features- he was good looking Leo could acknowledge that much, with cropped blond hair and a little scar on his lip, wearing a purple tee, jeans and a thin black windbreaker.
But Leo had never seen him before- and Piper was not the type to be cuddly with a total stranger.
She caught his eye and grinned slightly, rolling her eyes, as if sharing a joke with him. "He always does this." she pitched her voice low, "I swear it's like he likes falling asleep on me-"
"Pipes-" Leo swallowed hard, forcing down panic, "Something's not right?"
"What do you mean Leo?" Piper raised an eyebrow, "Everything's fine, Jase just fell asleep on me. Again. Not like you're much better snoring away there. You've been tired for days is everything okay?"
"I-" Leo looked around nervously, "Jase-"
"Leo are you okay?" Piper looked genuinely concerned, "You look like you're freaking out. You know Jason-"
"I-" his mouth snapped shut when the boy shifted in his sleep, his face scrunching up- and he let out a soft groan, opening his eyes slowly, rubbing them as he straightened- and from that look in the boys eyes he was just as confused as Leo was as he looked around the bus, before he focused on Piper- barely even glancing at Leo yet- which worked for Leo for now. It gave him a few minutes to observe before he did something reckless like demanding to know if the stranger knew where his big sister was- because Leo would bet Festus that this was what he'd been told to wait for.
Piper clearly noticed Jason's confusion too because she squeezed his hand.
"Jason are you okay?"
"I-" Jason seemed to hesitate "Um... I don't-"
"All right, cupcakes, listen up!" Coach Hedge's voice filled the bus and Leo turned his head slightly, meeting the Satyr's gaze with wide eyes and jerking his head very slightly towards Jason.
The Satyr did look every bit the coach, as his cover demanded. His baseball cap was pulled low over his hair, so you could just see his beady eyes. He had a wispy goatee and a sour face, like he'd eaten something moldy. His buff arms and chest pushed against a bright orange polo shirt. His nylon workout pants and Nikes were spotless white. A whistle hung from his neck, and a megaphone was clipped to his belt. He would've looked pretty scary if he hadn't been five feet zero. When he stood up in the aisle, one of the students called, "Stand up, Coach Hedge!"
And Hedge followed Leo's little nod, his eyes narrowing and he scowled, before he looked away quickly to avoid giving himself away.
"I heard that!" he let out a small cough to clear his throat. "We'll arrive in five minutes! Stay with your partner. Don't lose your worksheet. And if any of you precious little cupcakes causes any trouble on this trip, I will personally send you back to campus the hard way. "
He picked up a baseball bat and made like he was hitting a homer.
The sound of Jason's voice made Leo turn his head to look back at the newcomer and Piper. "Can he talk to us that way?"
Piper shrugged with a laugh, "Always does. This is the Wilderness School. 'Where kids are the animals. '" and Leo felt even more uneasy- she said it like she expected Jason to get the joke- it was one he'd made with Piper a few times during the month he'd been at the school, it definitely wasn't something a stranger should get.
"This is some kind of mistake," Jason said. "I'm not supposed to be here. "
"That's right." Leo couldn't help himself if he'd tried- which he didn't, and Piper gave Leo a horrified look.
"Leo what the hell? Of course he's meant to be here!"
"Pipes I hate to say this but he's really not." and Jason turned his head to look at Leo at last, his brows furrowing- and Leo took Jason in carefully- he didn't look like a monster- and he seemed genuinely confused, those sky blue eyes were kind of desperate
"You know."
"Yeah, I do." Leo leaned over the seat to look closer, "Who the fuck are you?"
"Leo-"
"Pipes, let go of his hand-"
"I-"
"Piper-" and Leo's usual light heartedness was gone, and Piper let go of Jason's hand automatically, her eyes flicking between the two of them. "Let him answer the question."
"I-" Jason hesitated, "I don't know. I don't know who I am."
"You're being serious." Leo decided after a minute, "You don't know how you got here?"
"Jason this is crazy- Leo I don't-"
"Pipes-" Leo's voice shook slightly, "Something very, very serious is happening right now." he didn't look away from Jason, "Because I have never met this guy before and he has zero memories from the sound of it." his gaze shifted to Piper, "Which means someone's screwed with your head-"
"Okay now you're talking crap-"
"I don't think he is." Jason's voice was small, hopeless. "I don't know who I am. But something is really really wrong-"
"It is-"
"Leo-" Piper's expression was desperate, "What are you talking about someone's screwed with my head?"
"I bet I could guess who." Leo scowled. It had to be Hera. She was up to something. "Listen... Piper there's some stuff we're going to need to tell you about- you too Jason." he ran his fingers through his curls letting out a huff, his leg bouncing nervously. "But right now is probably not the best time." he twisted in his seat, waving at Coach Hedge, "Hey! Coach, I feel like I'm gonna barf, got any bags-"
"Valdez-" Hedge glowered but he got out a brown barf bag and made his way down the bus to reach them, his eyes narrowed as he lowered his voice. "What is Zeus' name is going on back here kid?" that was directed at Leo, which made Piper's eyes narrow.
"Wait- wait you two know each other outside of school?"
"We've met in passing a few times." Leo admitted, "I think the last time I saw you before all this was back at home base after the battle-"
"What battle?"
"I'll explain in a minute." Leo said quickly, "Listen- Hedge do you have any clue what's going on here?"
"I don't know." Hedge grunted, eyeing Jason like he expected the boy to attack, "I've never seen the damn kid before in my life."
"What?" Piper's voice was panicked, "Please tell me you're winding me up."
"I wish I was-"
"You think it's Lady Hera?"
"Hera?" Jason's voice was suddenly interested, "I- that-" he winced, "There's something I just- I don't know what."
"Oh I think that confirms it." Leo frowned.
"Who's Hera?"
"My crazy grandmother I guess." Leo scrunched his face up, "It's complicated, but she's the one who sent me here."
"She is? You never told me what you did to get sent here-"
"That's because it's complicated." Leo shook his head, "But I'm pretty sure I was sent here for you two." he looked between Piper and Jason.
"For- what?" Piper looked nervous, "I don't-"
"I know Pipes you haven't done anything wrong." Leo said quickly, "But something is going on. Once we're off the bus we'll try and talk somewhere quieter-"
"Look at you being all mature." Hedge snorted, "What happened to the kid who paint bombed the Ares cabin?"
"He's currently wishing he was anywhere but here." Leo pulled a face, "I hate having to be the mature one. Usually I leave that to Luke or Annabeth."
"Who are they?"
"My family." Leo shook his head, "You'll probably meet them soon." he let out a breath, "Coach- you need to get back to the front, we're pretty much here."
"Right." Hedge nodded, shooting Jason a dark look and doing the 'I'm watching you gesture' before he walked off, and Jason let out a breath.
"I have zero clue what's going on here." Jason admitted, "But I want answers and clearly you're my best bet." that was directed at Leo.
"Do you really think someone's played with my head?" Piper's voice was hesitant, pained, and Leo nodded- and he silently vowed to kick Hera's butt for hurting his newest friend. It was pretty obvious what her memories included.
"I do. Sorry Pipes-"
"But- my memories about you-" she directed that at Leo, "They're real-"
"I don't know how much of them are real, depends on how much of them include this guy." he nodded his head at Jason, "But we're friends, I started at this school a month ago, met you, Isabel was being a bitch to you so I swiped her phone and set it so that every time it went off it sang 'I'm a fucking bitch'."
And Piper relaxed, looking painfully relieved, "At least not all of it's a lie." and Leo knew why she said that- it wasn't like she had many friends- she had a fear of being used by people who found out about her dad- but she knew for a fact that Leo didn't give a shit so he was probably the only friend she had. Then she gave Jason a sidelong look, "But- how could someone do something like that?"
"Now that is complicated," Leo huffed, "I've got a lot to explain once we're off the bus."
"I'm holding you to that." Piper declared, "Because I want answers like now. Clearly you've been keeping secrets from me."
"Sorry." Leo gave her an apologetic look, "In my defence I figured you were safer being in the dark until I understood what was going on. Which I still don't. Which admittedly is nothing new but I mean, you'd think I'd know something." he peered out of the window, flipping off the sky, "Fuck you Tia Callida. Just fucking tell me what's going on why don't you?"
"Tia Callida?" Piper's voice was hesitant, "Who's that?"
"Crazy grandma, like I said, long story." Leo took a deep breath, "But whatever's going on here, we're clearly at the centre of it" his mind flicked to the second Great Prophecy. "I just hope..." he thought of his family, of Calypso who he knew were probably worrying themselves sick about him.
He thought about his sister, about the price she'd paid to save them all. "I just hope my bad feelings wrong.
