Weirdhead: Yeah it's pretty obvious, Leo's just there like 'Hmmm, that's suspicious.' but also, 'okay but surely we'd all know if there was another big three kid?! And yeah, Leo loves tinkering.

MKDemiGodzilla-Warrior: Oh yeah, Thalia's definitely gonna be shocked. You'll see her reaction in a few chapters time.

Undeath9087: Yeah, it's fun screwing with my faves, they definitely go through the emotional wringer.

: I'm updating somewhat more frequently at the moment so you are getting more than you were lol.

The Official Clarisse: I mean, Jason survived lightning, Leo's already just there like 'Okay, that would make sense but how the fuck has he not been found before if he is?!

Sorta poll for Sally's parentage/who she's a legacy of. I won't be including the vote for Vesta because she's a maiden.

The chariot landed on the far end of the skywalk. The Pegasi tucked in their wings and cantered nervously across the glass, as if they sensed it was near breaking, and Leo nearly sobbed with relief- because he recognised both of the figures- Annabeth was there, and so was Kayla, and Annabeth leapt out of the chariot before it had even finished moving, pulling a knife and moving to run forward before faltering when her eyes focused on Leo, a relieved look flooding her face, "Oh thank the gods!" she pulled him into a tight hug, "I didn't- I was worried she was- fuck I'm so glad you're here we've been worried sick about you."

"Sorry, I did try and bust myself out and I tried to contact you but Hera blocked me." Leo gave Annabeth a relieved smile, "It's been a heck of a day, you got Hedge's message then?"

"What?" Annabeth's brows furrowed, "He sent- no we didn't. I- Hera sent me a dream- she told the that the hero with one shoe would solve my problem and she told me to come to the Grand Canyon."

"You problem?"

"You dumbass." Annabeth punched his shoulder. "Gods we've all been searching for you- she's been keeping you here? Why-"

Leo paused before he turned his head to look towards Jason, who- who had one shoe, the other one must have been lost during the fight. "Listen Annabeth- Hera's clearly up to something, dunno what yet but it's got something to do with my new friend Piper and that guy." he nodded towards Jason, "Suddenly showed up out of nowhere with no memories today. It has to be why Hera sent me here, right."

Annabeth turned her gaze to Jason, eyes narrowing. "One shoe. So you're important then."

"You can interrogate him once we're all in the chariot." Kayla had hopped out of the chariot and she reached Leo and Piper, "C'mon, let's get you in safe-" and Piper clung tighter to Leo- they were still mid-air.

"I am not stepping one foot on that skywalk!"

"She sorta fell through it." Leo's voice was apologetic, "Don't worry Pipes, I got you." he quickly flew them both to the chariot, setting her down it and landing himself as Kayla, Annabeth and Jason joined them, Annabeth half dragging Jason, who looked drained- not that Leo blamed him- it had been a pretty stressful day. Once they were in, all bar Annabeth she tilted her head to look up at the sky, an angry look on her face as she walked away slightly.

"I swear-" her voice shook, "I swear Hera. If you fuck with us- if you try and take anyone else away from us I will kill you. I'll find a way I don't care if you're a goddess I'll kill you." and her eyes were shining with tears.

Leo and Kayla exchanged looks at that before Kayla gave Leo a small nod, and after making sure that Jason and Piper were okay- which they were, though Piper was clinging to Jason's hand like a lifeline and Jason looked incredibly nervous- then again he'd been on the receiving end of a pissed off Annabeth, his nerves were understandable she was terrifying.

Leo sighed and hopped out of the chariot, walking towards the blonde as she screamed up at the sky, and he winced- yep, yep she was crying. "Haven't we been through enough already? She's gone is that not bad enough. It was supposed to be over! It's not fair!
Somethings coming and it's gonna be bad and now you're involved and- none of us can lose anyone else."

"Annabeth." Leo's voice was quiet "As much as I despise her too screaming at her won't do us any good. The gods have gone into lockdown I doubt they're even listening." and why was he still having to be the grown up one?

And Annabeth turned her head to look at him before she moved forward, hugging him tightly, "I can't lose you too Leo, you're like my annoying little brother-"

"Annabeth I-" Leo faltered- he'd known Annabeth saw him as a brother but still, she'd never said it before. "I'm sorry for worrying you. Is everyone-"

"Sally and Paul have been waiting at home worried sick about you." Annabeth wiped at her face with the back of her hand, "The rest of us have been searching, Nico nearly passed out last time he got back to camp, Will's putting him on bed rest. We thought- we were scared" her voice was miserable, "Ethan went off searching any places that the Titan army used as bases- in case some monster got to you and had you there- Luke and Thalia were looking but I sent them an IM so they'll probably be back at camp by now."

"Right." Leo let out a shaky breath, "I- I'm sorry I worried you all, even if I didn't get a say in it." he gave a weak smile, "Listen, we know she's up to something but we had no idea what it is. And whatever's happening- there's not much we can do right?"

"When did you get so smart kid?"

"I'm barely a year younger than you." Leo gave Annabeth an unimpressed look. "What about Rachel?"

"She's at camp, doing a lot of pacing- Drew's been helping her train to try and distract her but it's not working. We all love you dumbass-"

"Oh wow, I'm feeling the love." Leo gave a tight smile and poked her arm, "It's gonna be okay Annabeth. You should have faith in me-"

"Leo I love you but you nearly set the house on fire three times."

"I- Okay that's fair." Leo admitted, "But you need to trust me." he glanced towards the chariot, "We have to get them back to camp okay. I told them the basics but I'll explain more about camp on the way there." he paused, "There-" he focused on Jason. Jason who had survived a lightning bolt to the chest, "There's something real weird about Jason. Piper- she's easy, daughter of Aphrodite I'm sure of it but Jason?" it was difficult to imagine a son of Zeus surviving to fifteen outside of camp. "He... you'll see eventually. I don't think he's an enemy but there is something weird with him."

"Do you trust him?"

"I think he's scared and lost and I don't think he's gonna turn on us so yeah. And we've given people with worse track records a chance before."

"Ethan."

"Yep." Leo nodded, "We'll figure it out." he slung an arm over her shoulder, "Now let's get back on that chariot and get them to safety before Dylan comes back to try and kill us again- I don't want to get tossed off the skywalk again."

Annabeth let out a laugh despite herself, "You're worse than..." she shook herself "You're ridiculous Valdez, you know that?" her voice was slightly forced cheerful, "Did the wings work?"

"If they didn't I'd be a splat on the ground at this point."

"Good point." Together they made their way back to the chariot and climbed inside, and Kayla straightened up when they did, she'd been perched on the edge of the chariot talking to Jason and Piper.

"You guys done here?"

"Yep." Annabeth nodded, "You ready to get us out of here?"

"Oh yes." Kayla nodded, "I was just talking to Jason and Piper- Leo good job explaining. I filled them in about camp."

"Good." Annabeth nodded, "Saves us a job. Let's get out of here."

And so Kayla moved to the front and soon they were moving and Leo moved to join Jason and Piper.

Jason was quiet, a thoughtful look on his face- clearly none of this was new as such, Leo could tell that much- Jason looked like things were sliding into place in his head- he didn't remember things but the more they explained the more he was starting to understand- he knew he knew things, he just didn't know how or why.

Piper- she looked exhausted beyond all reason, though she managed a small smile when she felt Leo's gaze on her. "Do you do this sort of thing all the time?"

"Uh-" Leo paused thoughtfully, "Not really. This is definitely not something I do every week- but I have done crazier-"

Kayla let out a fake cough and inside of it she managed to mutter "St Helens." and Leo's head snapped around and he mock glared at her.

"That was not just me."

"No, no that was you and... yeah. We really should have known that you two going on a quest together wouldn't end well-"

"I had to! It was a part of the stupid prophecy we didn't mean to weaken the stupid chains and you know I don't like talking about that." Leo almost pouted, forcing down the grief at every reminder of Percy- gods but it had been nice being away from all that for a month.

"Mount St Helens?" Piper's voice was curious, "What's she talking about?"

"It's nothing." Leo stated firmly, "Just something that happened a while back, they like teasing me about it-" he didn't blame them- it's not like he told them how guilty the memories of that day made him.

"You do make it easy." Annabeth gave a ghost of a smile, she didn't seem quite so tense as she had when they'd first arrived.

"So-" Piper glanced at Annabeth then back at Leo, "You mentioned Annabeth earlier right?"

"You said something about me?" Annabeth raised an eyebrow, a dangerous look on her face, "You better not have been talking crap Valdez because I'm friends with your girlfriend now-"

"Don't you dare! I wasn't talking crap I promise." Leo flailed, "Don't tell Calypso embarrassing stories about me. I just said I usually leave being the mature one up to you and Luke-"

"That- is reasonable." Annabeth nodded her head slightly, "I won't tell Calypso any embarrassing stories. Yet."

"Leo said you were family." Jason spoke up, a slightly curious look on his face, and Kayla snickered as Annabeth raised an eyebrow.

"How exactly am I family Leo, don't get me wrong you're like a little brother to me but we're not actually-"

"Oh come on. You live with us most of the time, mom totally sees you as a daughter, she'd adopt you in a heartbeat if it wouldn't make things weird- besides-" his smile faltered, "If things were different you'd have been official family eventually anyway."

"Oh." Annabeth faltered, "That's kind of sweet actually."

"So... you're not actually family?" Piper's voice was hesitant, her eyes flicking between them.

"She's... she's been... she's lived with us for years." Leo explained, "It might not be all official but Annabeth is totally family."

"Your family must be pretty crazy-" Piper's lips twitched, "I'm kinda jealous."

"Don't be." Annabeth shook her head, "Just don't. It's not all-" she shook her head. "We're a mess. I- gods you have no idea how stressed we've been over Leo disappearing."

"Which Hera did because of me." Jason spoke up.

"Yes." Annabeth nodded, sighing, "Listen, Jason right? I don't blame you okay? Clearly you're a victim here... I'm sorry I was so aggressive I just- we've all been through a lot lately, and all of us love Leo and then he just goes and disappears out of nowhere." her voice wavered, "And all of us just wanted him back and when I got the dream from Hera- I was so scared of what I'd find. Search for the hero with one shoe she tells me- and I mean, it's Leo, he set the kitchen on fire with popcorn once, anything's possible. But I didn't expect to find two new demigods with him, one of whom has amnesia."

"He what?" Piper let out a laugh despite herself- and Leo was glad to see that she was regaining some color. She still looked like she'd been through a lot but she wasn't nearly so bad as she had been.

"In my defence me and my brother were experimenting- and I wouldn't say that's the most crazy thing I've ever done. That was probably the Drakon during the Battle."

"Battle? You make it sound like there was a war."

"There was Pipes." Leo's smile was tight, "The Titans decided to try and overthrow the gods- long story short we saved the gods butts."

"I-" Jason winced, clutching his head in pain, "I- I don't-"

"Hey-" Annabeth dropped to her knees next to him, a worried look on her face as she grabbed his wrists, pulling them from his face,

"Woah there. Breathe, in and out okay." she shot Leo a worried look, and Leo gave a half hearted shrug- he didn't know what to do either.

When Jason relaxed slightly Annabeth let go of his wrists, he looked pale, upset. "I don't it hurts- you're saying things I should know but when I try... it hurts-"

"Don't push yourself." Annabeth's voice was worried, "You could damage your mind." she shook her head, "Right now you need to try and rest. We'll find a way to get your memories back. But do not push it."

And as always, Annabeth's voice was so steely that even thinking of doing anything else was unquestionable.
