I hope you all enjoy this chapter! Review and tell me what you think- and I love Piper and Drew.
Undeath9078: Oh yeah, Piper and Drew's interaction was very fun for me to write and very different from canon.

Weirdhead: Leo and lasers are a deadly combination that shouldn't be allowed, and yet no one can stop him.
The Official Clarisse: Poor Piper is right. But she'll get some support.
Reyona: Your vote has been counted!
Sorta poll for Sally's parentage/who she's a legacy of. I won't be including the vote for Vesta because she's a maiden.

Piper was drained by the time Silena showed her to the Aphrodite cabin, she'd suggested going there so that Piper could sit down and take a breather- even if it turned out she wasn't a daughter of Aphrodite it wouldn't do any harm, and so she was led to a cabin with a painted roof with pillars and a blue-and-white checkerboard deck with steps leading up to it and gray walls.

When she stepped into the cabin she felt like she'd stepped into a life-size dollhouse, with pink walls and white window trim. The lace curtains were pastel blue and green, which of course matched the sheets and feather comforters on all the beds.

The cabin was almost split in two, presumably to part guys from girls, they were separated by a curtain.

At the foot of every bunk was a wooden chest with a name painted on it, and Piper guessed that the clothes in each chest were neatly folded and color coordinated based on how organised the cabin was. The only bit of individualism was how the campers decorated their private bunk spaces. Each had slightly different pictures tacked up of whatever celebrities they thought were hot. A few had personal photos, too, but most were actors or singers or whatever.

Piper had hoped she might not see The Poster. It had been almost a year since the movie, and she thought by now surely everyone had torn down those old tattered advertisements and tacked up something newer. But no such luck. She spotted one on the wall by the storage closet, in the middle of a collage of famous heartthrobs.

The title was lurid red: king of sparta. Under that, the poster showed the leading man—a three-quarters shot of bare-chested bronze flesh, with ripped pectorals and six-pack abs. He was clad in only a Greek war kilt and a purple cape, sword in hand. He looked like he'd just been rubbed in oil, his short black hair gleaming and rivulets of sweat pouring off his rugged face, those dark sad eyes facing the camera as if to say, I will kill your men and steal your women! Ha-ha!

It was the most ridiculous poster of all time. Piper and her dad had had a good laugh over it the first time they saw it. Then the movie made a bajillion dollars. The poster graphic popped up everywhere. Piper couldn't get away from it at school, walking down the street, even online. It became The Poster, the most embarrassing thing in her life. And yeah, it was a picture of her dad.

She looked away from it quickly- due to the time of day the cabin was empty- other than Drew, who was lounging on her bed doing her nails- the older girl looked up when Piper and Silena stepped inside, raising an eyebrow, "I'm surprised you brought little miss trashbaby here to watch you have a go at me-"

"Drew-" Silena let out a breath, "Can you just stop for once? We all know how angry you are and so are the rest of us but-"

"I won't let some pretty blond boy and some new girl try and replace my best friend." Drew spat, "No fucking way-"

"I don't want to replace anyone." Piper spoke up quickly, glaring at Drew, "You don't need to be such a bitch I didn't ask for any of
this!"

"Uh huh, sure you didn't- and why should we trust you you could know something-"

"I don't!" Piper let out a frustrated growl, "Leo is one of the best friends I've ever had-"

"You've known him for like a fucking month." Drew sneered, "Some friendship-"

"Yeah!" Piper spat the words, "Leo's the first person who's friends with me because he likes me for me he doesn't give a shit about who my dad is or anything like that so yeah he is one of the best friends I've ever had even if it has only been two week."

Drew straightened up slightly at that, a flicker of something in her expression before she snorted, "Sure, for all we know you're sent by the enemies-"

And Piper felt guilt twisting in the pit of her stomach and she clenched her fists, "Just shut up!" she shouted the words, "Just shut up you bitch."

And Drew's mouth snapped shut against her will and her eyes widened as Silena let out a gasp, and Piper waited for a moment for Drew to snap back except she didn't.

"Oh." Silena's voice was soft, "Okay, I'd say Leo was right about you Piper." she laid a hand on Piper's shoulder, "That was charmspeak-"

"What? All I did was tell her to shut up." Piper suddenly felt nervous, "I didn't do anything I-"

"You charmspeaked me." Drew managed to get out after a moment, grimacing, "And given the fact that you didn't know what you were doing that was impressive." She smirked slightly, tilting her head before she spoke again, "Sit down." and Piper's legs were moving against her will and suddenly she was sat down on one of the beds- her eyes wide.

"Did you just-"

You're going to need training." Drew let out a long suffering sigh, "I guess that means you'll want me to do it-"

"Percy would want you to-"

"You know you can't use that against me every time you want me to do something." Drew rolled her eyes before she raised a hand and wriggled her fingers at Silena, "Go away then Silena, I'll have a little word with our newest sister-"

"Why do I feel like this is a terrible idea?" Silena raised an eyebrow, "You two can't spend five minutes around each other without wanting to tear one another's throats out."

"I'll play nice." Drew waved a hand, "If you want me to help her I want you out."

"I-" Silena sighed, "I did tell Lacy I'd help her with the Pegasi." she gave Piper a worried look, "Will you be okay with Drew for ten minutes?"

"I'll be fine." Piper said after a moment, even if she didn't feel that sure of that fact.

"I won't be long- Drew I swear-"

"I told you, I'll be on my best behaviour." Drew rolled her eyes as Silena left, shutting the door behind her before her gaze swung to Piper, who met her gaze defiantly.

"You're not about to give me training are you?"

"Nope." Drew leaned forward, playing with her necklace, curling the golden chain around her fingers. "Well, I will but not right now. So, how long have you been able to use it?"

"I-" Piper hesitated, "I don't know." she admitted after a moment, "I didn't know what I was doing. I only found out I was a demigod today. But a while I think." She felt a rush of guilt, "If I'd have known what I was doing-"

"You wouldn't have done it?" Drew snorted, "That's such a goody two shoes way of thinking- it's a gift, I might not use it as much as
I used to but you might as well use it to make life easier."

"How can you think like that? You're controlling people-"

"Tell me, how's your relationship with your father?"

"I-" Piper hesitated but she wanted to talk, she wanted to tell Drew, "He- I love him." she looked away, trying to hide her worry. "He just.. never seems to have the time for me. It's why I used to act out." she admitted, "To get his attention- he's an actor I-" she snapped her mouth shut, eyes widening in realisation, "Did you just use charmspeak on me?"

"Yep." Drew didn't look even remotely guilty, she smirked slightly, "It's a gift." then her expression turned more serious, "It sounds like he does love you though, right?"

"Of course-"

"I discovered my charmspeak early. I'd ask and I'd get whatever I wanted- no matter what it was." Drew shrugged, "I mean, I was a kid I had no clue what I was doing- they didn't care about that. And my step mom really didn't like it- And when I was two they had a baby, I didn't like her much. It wasn't her fault but they preferred her to me and I saw that. When I was six we were out for the day, I told her to go jump off the bridge-" Piper sucked in a sharp breath at that, her eyes wide.

"You- oh gods-"

"I didn't know what I was doing back then- but my dad knew it was me. He told me I should be muzzled. Told me I might be pretty but no amount of beauty could hide how much of a monster I was-"

"Drew-"

"I ran away at eleven, lived on the streets for a couple of years- after that I used my powers to make people take me in. It always ended the same."

And as much as Piper hated to admit it, she could see how Drew had turned out the way she did- her home life had clearly been toxic as anything.

"Percy was the first person to treat you like a person." she realised, "She's... she was to you what Leo is to me."

"Yep." Drew popped the P. "And believe me when I say that she'd have had more right than most to hate me- instead we became friends."

"I-" Piper hesitated, "My dad is Tristan McLean-"

"Ooh." Drew grinned, glancing over at the poster wall before pausing, "Awe, that means we should probably take that down- shame he's a hunk-"

"Drew!"

"Hey, I'm just saying it how it is." Drew smirked, "So, you were saying?"

"Back when I used to be honest about it everyone used to try and use me to meet him. I hated it- then along came Leo who was a
total weirdo but he was really nice and he figured it out because he heard me on the phone to my dad one night and he just laughed and asked why he'd give a shit- other than Ja-" she snapped her mouth shut, shaking her head, "He was the first to make me feel like it didn't matter."

"It's great when people see past the walls right?" Drew let a smile play across her lips, "You don't want to toss a friendship like that away."

"I wouldn't-"

"Good, he's annoying little shit but he's my best friends little brother and he's not the worst person ever." Drew conceded, "And he's like the rest of the Jacksons, they're all in when it comes to friendships- seriously you just can't shake them off."

"That sounds nice." Piper looked away, trying to hide her guilt, but clearly Drew noticed because she was speaking again.

"So Piper. What is it you're not telling me then? You might be able to lie to everyone else here but I can see straight though it- you were way to defensive when you told me to shut up earlier."

"I-"

"Hey, no judgement here." Drew held up her hands, "But there is no way that you're not hiding something Piper so spill before I make you- and as much as you have a lot of talent there right now you have no experience, no way are you going to be able to resist if I order you to tell me."

"I-" Piper shook her head, "I'm not-"

"Let's see if this makes it easier- whatever you tell me I guarantee I've done worse-"

"What?"

Drew rolled her eyes, "Okay, listen up because I'm only going over this once- I assume they haven't told you our lovely camps recent history right? Well, a dick called Alabaster decided to rebel against the gods because they're shitty parents and shitty in general, with the help of the Titans and head fuckhead himself Kronos. Now tell me Piper. Which side you you think I was on when I met Percy?"

"I-" Piper's eyes widened, "Are you saying-"

"I was technically a member of the other side- my powers were valuable to Alabaster." she pulled a face, "And when he captured Percy they were even more valuable. It was very good for him to have someone who could deal with feeding and taking care of her without worrying about her trying to escape- even weaponless Percy is a dangerous girl. Except she treated me like a person- gods know why but she was the first person I ever called a friend- my biggest regret is that I didn't bust her out on day one- I let him keep hurting her for days. I doubt I'll ever forgive myself for that. He hurt her really bad, she needed a lot of therapy to even start to recover." the look on Drew's face was almost heartbreaking, "It was only when she broke down that I helped her escape. And after that I got caught- they fucked up my memory of all of that. He took the necklace- I had one my dad gave me. It was the only thing I had from him and he enchanted it so he could listen in through it, and I went straight to Percy- it nearly got her killed before we found out that it was basically bugged. I know she never blamed me for that but- she's gone and I'll never see her again and maybe if Kronos hadn't heard stuff I said she'd still be alive." Drew looked away. "So when I say I won't judge you, I don't say it to be nice, I say it because no matter what you've done, I've probably done worse."

And Piper stared at Drew for a long moment, her heart pounding in her chest before she let out a sob, unable to stop it- which wasn't like her, but- it was all too much, "I've been having dreams for the past three days- they- the voice- and my dad's missing and it keeps telling me to do what it says if I want to save him and I don't know what to do I don't want to betray anyone but it's my dad-"

"Well fuck." Drew pulled a face, "I won't tell anyone." she gave Piper a serious look, "But it seems to me like you have a choice to make. Something's going down and you're clearly important." she rose from her spot on the bed, "C'mon."

"What?"

"Well, I get the feeling you're going to get dragged on some quest with everything that's happening. And if that's the case no way is my new sister going in weaponless, trashbaby or not."
