Chapter eleven

'Does anyone know why this idiot attacked Neville and me?'

'He blames you for losing the money when they confiscated the doll,' Hermione said.

Harry glared before he turned too glanced around the common room. If Ron had been planning this Harry knew the twins would stop it. They weren't in the common room which meant they didn't know what their brother was doing.

Neville and McGonagall stepped into the room. Their head of house, or former head of house and new headmistress went straight over to Ron. First she did a spell over Ron's wand which showed what spell he had used. She then levitated him into the air before she turned to face the students.

'Where are the Weasley twins?'

'They must be upstairs in their dorm,' Harry said.

'Mr Creevey, please tell Fred and George Weasley I need to see them right now in my office. Miss Granger, go tell Miss Weasley I wish to see her as well.'

'Yes Professor,' Hermione jumped up and ran up the stairs just like Colin did.

When the three Weasley's stepped into the common room, the twins went straight to Harry.

'Colin told us what our git of a brother did,' Fred said.

'She tested his wand and it must have been more than a stunner or tickling hex for her to take him with her,' George said.

'We had no idea he was going to do something like this,' George said.

'We'll let you know mate,' Fred said.

'Thanks boys,' Harry sighed before he headed up to the dorm rooms with Neville, 'I thought it would be better. Now I have idiots in my own house trying to attack me.'

'The way McGonagall looked, I don't think Ron will be joining us anymore, or at least for a while.'

'But no one ever gets suspended or expelled otherwise half the Slytherin's would be gone.'

'That was Dumbledore, not McGonagall. He liked to give them second chances, not to mention, third, fourth and fifth chances. McGonagall doesn't.'

Harry nodded, but he hoped Neville was right and McGonagall would be harder on students then Dumbledore had been. If Ron used a dangerous spell, then he should be expelled. He would just have to wait and see.

It was only a half an hour later that the twins and Lee stepped into the fourth year dorm room.

'He's been expelled,' Fred said.

'But he also might be facing charges,' George said.

'Blimey, what did he do?' Neville asked.

'He sent a blood boiling curse at Harry,' Fred said.

'Isn't that classed as dark magic?' Harry asked.

'Yes, that's why he might be facing charges,' George said.

'We never thought he would go that far,' Fred said.

'We were planning on speaking with you tonight anyway, not just about Ron,' George said.

'What about?'

'Ginny, first she's pissed about the doll, then because of you and Luna,' Fred said.

'She thinks you belong to her because you proved it by saving her in the chamber,' George said.

'We blame mum for that. She's been telling Ginny the story of the-boy-who-lived since she was a baby,' Fred said.

'Ginny became obsessed with you and it got worse when she found out you were friends with Ron,' George said.

'It got worse after you saved her in the chamber of secrets,' Fred said.

'That's all I need, a stalker,' Harry sighed.

'We're sending off a letter to dad so he will talk to Ginny,' Fred said.

'I doubt talking will help if she's obsessed,' Harry said.

'Dad knows Sirius is from an ancient and noble house and right now he would have named you his heir,' George said.

'He did, he's not sure he can have kids so he wanted to make sure no one could fight for control of his money and properties,' Harry said.

'Which means if Ginny does something against the heir of a noble house, she could end up in Azkaban,' Fred said.

'They're right. If Sirius named you heir then if she used something like a love potion she could be accused of line theft,' Neville said.

'Sirius is going to take me through all that stuff during the holidays since he found out I know next to nothing about this world and how it works. But Ginny has to remember that I helped save Hermione before Ginny even started here, I had to talk Ron into going with me or Hermione could have been killed. If I saved Hermione then why doesn't she think I'm destined to end up with her?'

'She's obsessed Harry and not thinking straight,' Fred said.

'Dad will sort her out. He would rather her be taken out of Hogwarts then end up in Azkaban for doing something stupid like Ron did,' George said.

'I hope so, I wouldn't like her to ruin her life. Ron might have already because of his quick temper. He wasn't thinking about anyone, not even his family and how this could hurt all of you. Anyway, thanks for letting us know. Oh, Sirius wants to speak with you on the weekend, about the shop and some of the pranks the marauders did. He figured he could be partner but a very small partner. He doesn't need the money, but he would love to help you get started. He's more into jokes than I am so I figured he could be your main investor, but I'll still invest as well. I don't want a share, just help then you can give it back once you've began to make money.'

The twins and Lee grinned before saying goodnight. Harry knew Sirius was going to be a big influence on those three boys. Even though he felt sorry for the Weasley's, he saw straight away that the twins only blamed Ron and not Harry.

Harry and Neville waited for Hermione to enter the common room the following morning. Neville asked her to follow them out and to a deserted corridor. The two boys explained what the twins said if Ginny tried anything and how they were sending a letter to their father.

Neville and Harry wanted Hermione to try to get through to Ginny before she ends up in Azkaban. If Ginny tries anything on Harry he would use his heir status to have her arrested. When Hermione asked how Harry could if Ginny hurt Luna, Harry explained that as of right now he and Luna were talking about the future and how they wanted to marry. It's not official but within noble houses this was taken seriously. Hermione promised to do all she could with Ginny but also keep an eye on her. She apologised to Harry again but this time she did not bring up Ron. Harry and Neville believed that Hermione has finally realised just what her mistake had cost her. They might end up talking to her again, but they would wait and see if her attitude changed.

Before classes began, Harry quickly spoke with Sirius about Ginny and what the twins told him. Sirius was going to write to Arthur, head of house to head of house. Arthur would understand just what could happen if Ginny didn't back off.

After the first defence against the dark arts class, the Slytherin's were in shock. Snape had taken almost one hundred points total from many of his snakes. Three ended up in detention with Filch, which was Malfoy and his two body guards. They had tried to curse some Gryffindor's while their backs were to them.

The Slytherin's all thought it was great that Dumbledore was gone. Now they knew it was worse. They kept glaring at the Gryffindor's, especially Harry and Neville who got points from their head of house. They realised they either changed their ways or they might end up spending their years in detention, if they weren't expelled.

Harry decided to see Luna before his next class. He just saw her leave the classroom when she fell but he also noticed she was pushed out of the way of a spell. Harry hurried to Luna to help her up but he noticed that Colin was holding his wand at Ginny. Harry sent his patronus off to McGonagall and Sirius.

'You've done it now. As the heir of an ancient and noble house, you attacked his future wife,' Harry snarled at Ginny. Some of the people standing around all gasped.

'What's that mean Harry?' Colin asked.

'It means she could end up in Azkaban for attacking the future wife of the heir of one of the oldest families in our world. That is taking very seriously Colin.'

'You're not from an ancient house, everyone knows the Potters was only a noble house,' Ginny said.

'I made Harry my heir. As my godson and because he has Black blood, I could name him my heir,' Sirius said as he joined the group.

'What happened?' Minerva asked.

'All I saw was someone pushed Luna over which saved her from some spell, then I saw Colin.'

'Mr Creevey?'

'I saw Ginny aiming her wand at Luna, so I pushed Luna out of the way and the spell went over her head.'

'You're wand Miss Weasley,' Minerva held out her hand.

It looked like Ginny was going to refuse until she noticed Harry, Sirius and every other person from her class was aiming their wand at her. She glared at Luna who was in Harry's arms before she handed over her wand.

'Now my office. Mr potter, could you find the Weasley boys please.'

'I'll tell them Professor,' Harry waited until the headmistress, Sirius and Ginny left before he turned to Colin, 'I owe you Colin, so I'll sign one photo. But Luna and I would like you to take our picture?'

Colin grinned, 'Anytime, we can do it on the weekend that way you're not in uniform.'

'Okay and thanks,' Harry gave Colin a smile, Luna kissed Colin on the cheeks making him blush.

Harry kept hold of Luna while he went to look for the twins. He wasn't sure where they were so he needed the map.

He pulled Luna into the Gryffindor common room then they were heading for the stairs when they saw the twins and Lee.

'Hey, you two are wanted in McGonagall's office.'

'Don't tell us…' George said.

'She did something…' Fred said.

'She went to curse Luna, I'm not sure with what. Colin pushed Luna out of the way so the spell missed.'

'We don't blame you if you want her arrested Harry,' George said sadly.

'She made the decision to curse Luna, so she has to pay for that,' Fred said.

'Even though it's not my fault or Luna's, I'm sorry this is happening to your family.'

'We know mate,' Fred and George said together.

Harry nodded but he felt sorry for the twins and the rest of the Weasley's. Lee watched his friends leave before he headed to his next class.

Harry walked Luna to her class, he explained to Flitwick what happened which is the reason Luna was late. He gave Luna a kiss and he didn't even care that everyone was watching. When Luna sat beside Colin, Harry smiled then headed towards his class which was potions. But this time he was actually looking forward to potions and wondered what Professor Tonks would be like. Sirius had already told him Ted Tonks was a nice man, now Harry just had to see what type of teacher he will make. Snape might be a potions master but he wasn't a very good teacher when it comes to potions. He was a good teacher in defence against the dark arts. That told Harry that even though someone might be good at something didn't mean they could teach. It proved Snape was a good teacher, just not in potions.
