"Alright everyone lets watch the presentation!" Mario announced, pressing the play button on the monitor connected to the wide screen in the room.

"Hehehe..." Dedede rubbed his hands together. "Watch and learn boys..."

ENOUGH ! ! !

Everything went dark.

Mario felt... still, almost like something... plastic, like some sort of statue, he was just idling there. He couldn't move, he couldn't speak, nor could he look around, it was almost like when he was captured by Galeem, though this was far less of a bright area.

In front of him was Dedede, standing with his hands behind his back.

"Sorry boys, but I couldn't have you all interfere with Bandana Waddle Dee getting in so I had to take a few... precautionary measures." Dedede explained. Mario glanced behind him and he saw... the Smash Logo, on fire, burning.

What had he done?

"Making you all immobile was the only way, I'm afraid," Dedede sighed, shaking his head. "I mean, in the contract it clearly said, 'Btw I can make you all trophies legally and you can't sue me, lmao', so y'all should've read it."

Mario knew what he had to do.

"Well, I've got to find a Smash Letter, so if you'll excuse me..." Dedede said, giving a cocky smirk before walking away. Dedede made his way out of Mario's vision, and Mario looked towards the burning Smash Symbol in the sky.

It began to fade away into embers, the small bit of orange-ish red illumination beginning to damper as a single flame fell from the middle of the logo. Mario could then move his finger... then his arm, then sensation began to move to his entire body.

He stepped onto solid ground and looked behind him. Everyone was motionless, all of them, hollow trophies of their former selves. Mario then looked back to the ember that fell as if landed not too far away in front of him.

"HEY, HOW DID YOU GET UN-TROPHIED?" Dedede yelled, and Mario turned to see Dedede rushing towards him, Mallet in hand. Knowing he had to act fast, he quickly scampered towards it, not bothering to focus on Dedede who was fast approaching.

"Come on-" Mario grunted as he took a quick peak at Dedede who was jumping high into the air. Mario stumbled back and did a backflip right as Dedede landed in front of him, blocking his way to the ember. "GAH-!"

"I don't know what you think you're doing, but if you think you can stop Bandana Waddle Dee from getting in Smash..." Dedede laughed. "Well, got any last words before I knock you out?"

"Six, actually." Mario cleared his throat. "OH MY GOD, A HUMONGOUS COCKROACH!" Mario yelled, pointing above King Dedede.

"AHHH, WHERE?!" Dedede asked, moving his head in all directions. Mario took the distraction and jumped onto Dedede's head, knocking him flat on his back, and out of service for the moment. He walked towards the ember, and ember which burned in a shape that he kept just in case.

This would've been used in a normal reveal, but... it was far too late for that.

Mario took a deep breath, and thrust his hand through the burning ember, grabbing what it retained. With all his strength he winded up and TOSSED it toward the sky, behind all the statued fighters!

The blade SOARED through the air, and the flames burst from it as it did, and Dedede and Mario looked on as the flames revealed the form of a blade.

A Keyblade.

"NOOOOOOO-" Dedede yelled, rapidly moving back and forth like a back trying to walk. The blade made the sky flash a wondrous white, and Mario smiled as a massive glowing keyhole appeared in the sky, and from it came a figure.

As the figure entered, Mario looked back to see everyone else was beginning to come to, and as they all began to move once more, they all looked towards the sky as the figured glided around, a sort of magical dust floating behind them as they did.

Mario smiled, and looked back to see everyone with a surprised look on their face the figure landed in front of them all, their Keyblade in hand. The figure placed the Keyblade on their shoulder and looked towards them all with a triumphant smile.

SORA IS FINALLY HERE!

"Glad I could show up!" Sora greeted, walking towards Mario, everyone else keeping their distance as they began to crowd around.

"I'm perfectly fine with this." Ganondorf shrugged. "Not my most wanted, but it'll do."

A general consensus of, "Yeah." went through the area.

"Sorry we couldn't do the reveal we had planned, but things may change on a dime occasionally." Mario apologized, and Sora nodded. "Nice to have you here."

"Nice to be here." Sora said, and Mario held out his hand. Sora gave a wide-eyed grin before placing his hand in Mario's. The two shook hands as the final Super Smash Brothers Ultimate character was revealed, and Smash came to an end.

"NOW HANG ON A MOMENT!" Dedede yelled, interrupting the handshake. Mario and Sora looked towards him as he stomped towards the middle of the scene.

"Hey!" Sora greeted, but Dedede wasn't having it.

"I ain't gonna let this Chris from Sonic X looking, Xenoblade Chronicles looking, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse looking kid take the spot that rightfully belongs to Bandana Waddle Dee!"

"バンダナ・ワドル・ディーの部分を除いて、私は彼に同意します." Sephiroth added, crossing his arms.

"Wait, Sephiroth's here?" Sora noted, grabbing his Keyblade.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine, he's been nerfed from Platinum." Cloud spoke.

Everyone looked towards Cloud, ". . ."

"What?" Cloud asked, looking around. "I can speak English in Kingdom Hearts, Sora's here, I can speak English now." he explained. "Same goes for him." Cloud muttered, motioning towards Sephiroth.

Everyone looked towards Sephiroth who has a queer smile on his face. "You are correct for once, Cloud." he said in a devilishly creepy voice. "No matter, you'll still find I'm always a step ahead..."

"Er... right." Mario nodded. "We'll deal with the sudden language barrier being removed later, King Dedede, get us out of here."

"NO." Dedede said stubbornly. "I ain't letting anybody leave here till you all add Bandana Waddle Dee and kick Mr. Big Shoes out of here!" he whined.

"Hey, come on, King." Sora said, walking towards Dedede. "Look at it this way, you didn't get this Bandana Waddle Dee in the tournament, but do you really have to complain?"

"What are you trying to say?" Dedede asked.

"I'm not saying you're obligated to like me, because you aren't, but acting like your most wanted needed to get in right now is just being selfish and not looking at everyone else who didn't get their most wanted in." Sora explained.

"Yeah, I never got Doomguy." Isabelle spoke. "I mean, I'm working on something with Mii Gunner, but that's a different thing entirely-"

Cloud spoke as well, "And I never got Crash, all I got was my worst nightmare."

"I didn't get anybody I wanted either!" Wario added. "This sucked, but I don't complain, cause I'm on that Sigma Male grind!"

"Yeah, see what I mean?" Sora asked Dedede, who's face turned less sour. "And-"

"I never got Jonesy from Fortnite!" Luigi added, and everyone looked to see him and Mythra standing in the back. "We fell from the same place Sora did, you just didn't see us."

"Eh... right, yeah." Sora assured, waving it away. "Anyways, the point is, I'm sure Bandana Waddle Dee will be in Smash someday, and even if those days not today, don't ask like your most wanted is any more important than anybody else's."

"Well..." Dedede looked towards the ground. "I guess I can wait until Smash 6 rolls around for his next chance."

"Yeah, that's the spirit!" Sora confirmed, giving a thumbs up to Dedede. "Now, let's get out of here, shall we?"

Sonic piped up, "Wait a minute, aren't you supposed to have Donald and Goofy with you?"

"Ahahahah, please don't mention them." Mario spoke, interrupting Sonic. "You just cost us around 40 quadrillion dollars by saying that."

"Really?" Sonic crossed his arms, "Why not?"

"Copyright." Mario muttered with a grimace on his face. "Cost us more than your entire universe is worth just to allow Sora to have the Mickey Keychain with him."

"Well, copyright aside, let's go home... wherever that is!" Sora yelled. "Lead the way, King!"

With that, Sora, King Dedede and everyone else in Smash made their merry way back to the Smash Mansion, and everyone was at peace.

...for like 5 minutes because for whatever reason Princess Peach wanted Mario to grill vegan hamburgers for Sora's welcoming party, and the two got into a huge argument resulting in a brawl between everyone where the warring factions set up a complex system of barracks as everyone debated veganism.

"But that is a story for another day." Luigi finished, closing the book of Smash. "Thoughts?"

"Woahhhhh." all the kids said in unison, Ness, Lucas, and Villager looking mesmerized.

"That was awesome, but I kind don't remember that last part happening, the one with the hamburgers." Ness noted.

"Yeah, seemed a bit random, they only argued for a few seconds, Mario and Peach." Lucas said.

"Eh, well sometimes you gotta stretch the truth..." Luigi added with a smile. "Oh look, there's the man of the hour, right as I called him." Luigi said as Sora walked into the library. "Hey, Sora, I got a question for you."

"Yeah, what is it?"

"Jonesy from Fortnite?" Luigi asked, standing up.

Ness stepped back, "Huh?"

"Jonesy From Fortnite." Luig said, talking a step forward, holding his hands out.

"What are you talking about?" Sora asked, moving his hand towards his Keyblade.

"JonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortniteJonesyFromFortnite-"

Luigi began to twist and turn into an odd form, and the kids ran behind Sora, not quite sure what was going on for the moment. He had turned larger, had a purple hue with glowing yellow piercing eyes staring daggers at everything in the room.

"He's a heartless?" Sora gasped. "But how could he-" Sora looked to the side before shaking his head. He took out his Keyblade and pointed it ahead. "Alright, let's do this!"

Sora rushed towards Luigi, and in that moment, is was rather obvious that this was...

Yeah, I'm fine with this. I'll still write stories, and finish old ones, but... hm. Now that the games finished, I think I know where to go with other fanfics, and... it's gonna be neat.
