Gohan's mood took a 180, and Goku got thwacked by this fact as he unwittingly open a dam and exposed himself to his son's hungry adoration for his former adversary
To him it looked adorable, his little son was like a riffle gun now going on and on at how cool Piccolo was and telling stories about his adventure with the Namekian
Piccolo was so serious when we played tic-tac-toe that one time, it was so cool! he made the feather float when it was his turn

And he taught me how to meditate to calm my nerves too, he is so smart and knowledgeable!

He is very sweet and caring as well, he examined my arm when I told him about a blister I got, and he gives me apples

Goku couldn't keep up, Gohan showed no evidence of halting, the young boy had a dramatic energy in telling his tale, you can almost hear the high and fast parts of a piano version of swan lake by Tchaikovsky, that's how dramatic it is
