A flower was seen blowing over the darker screen when suddenly a huge Rinne Sharingan appears, and the Title card displaying NARUTOナルト appears

Ai is seen with a scared look on her face her blue dress is covered in blood in her hands is a blooded lion themed ANBU mask and she is crying tears. A teardrop falls slowly to the ground as it splashes into a pool of blood. She then raises her head up dazed as memories flash through her mind and an image of Naruto's childhood. She reaches for Naruto and falls into a river of blood as the Jūbi and Gedo Statue flank her on opposite parallel sides she then rises

More memories flash an image of Saki appearing smiling with her headband then it changes to an image with Saki supporting a battle hardened expression and her headband has a slash through it. Junko is crying being comforted by Sakura and Hinata. Ai continues to rise and grips her hand. Images depicting the events of Naruto and Boruto flash through her mind, Ai then clutches her head in pain.

She then screams in pain as the area turns into an introverted color scheme of white, black, and red. The Jūbi then opens its mouth and slowly descends onto Ai as she thrashes around violently. Imagines showing Naruto being attacked by the villagers as a child surface and of Tobi with his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning appear. The Jūbi is then introverted sideways and Ai is now falling into its mouth as the hands of the Jūbi start to intertwine with that of the Gedo Statue.

Ai closes her eyes and accepts her fate. Then an image of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki appears with his hand outstretched and Ai tries to reach for it as hundreds of Jūbi arms start to reach out and grab her, dragging deeper and deeper into the pitch blackness. Then Black Zetsu's signature smile appears as an image. Ai grunts her teeth and grabs Hagoromo's hand and a bright light engulfs her as she opens her eyes revealing the Rinne Sharingan and she ties her Konohagakure head and stand on top the Jūbi with the Gedo Statue to her right Hagoromo behind her with Black Zetsu. Hagoromo nodes to her when Ai looks back and she looks forward with eyes of determination as she faces off against the masked man standing upon the Kyūbi. Then the title card appears again NARUTOナルト
Time has changed and skipped drastically, when Ai was released from the hospital she changed. She was distant and cold, Junko was worried for her daughters and she sat in the corner waiting for Ai to come home from the academy. Naurto tried interacting with the Jinchūriki, however it failed; he then tried to have them interact with Boruto, Himawari and by then Kawaki. Ai just sat on the bed in her room curled up, Boruto just looked at the Uchiha girl. "So..you're Ai?" he asked, Ai ignored him. Himwarai approached her, and Ai suddenly looked back up. "They're the hokages' children, minus the one." spoke Zetsu as he was attached to Ai, she had discovered that her and Zetsu could merge as one Zetsu helped to keep the Jūbi under control.
Ai nodded and looked at Himawari and looked away. She then eyed Kawaki and something was off about him "I don't trust him…" she whispered to Zetsu who agreed with her. "Also...about your father." he whispered slowly. The three looked confused but then frightened when Ai sharply raised her head. Her sharingan activated began to morph into Mangekyō Sharingan, her eyes darting left and right as she slowly rose up and began to leave the room. Boruto blinked at what had happened, and Ai stomped into the living room where Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Ino, and Junko were present. "Oh...musume" spoke Junko as she clutched her heart and was about to hug her daughter when she noticed Ai was deathly quiet.
"...meikko." spoke Sasuke as he reached out his hand towards Ai. Ai finally responded in a slow monotone voice. "The Mangekyō Sharingan initially awakened by the trauma suffered from witnessing the death of someone close to the user...but that also could be awakened by killing someone close to you." Junko started to get worried and started shaking violently "...ojō san...you scaring your uncle and everyone…." spoke Junko in a soft formal tone. Ai snapped her head up as her Mangekyō Sharingan blared to life as Black Zetsu wrapped himself around her left side completely covering the left side of her face and arm. Everyone gasped, and looked shocked. "The death of Ai's father caused her to indirectly awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan….and before you say anything I'm the reason why the Jūbi hasn't gone on a rampage." explained Black Zetsu as he crossed Ai's arms, Ai only nodded…"I like Zetsu...unlike some people he doesn't keep things from me…" she spoke in a harsh tone as Junko broke and fainted. Naruto didn't know what to say. Sasuke collected Junko with the aid of Hinata and Ino.
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, meanwhile, had his head down, and sighed. "This girl…..is despair reincarnate." he said sadly as he looked out at the moon. He had to do something and something fast. Junko then disappeared using the Mayflower technique she looked up at Sasuke "I'm...despair...reincarnate…" she spoke codly and in a distant detached tone as she completely vanished from view. Ai then opened her eyes, and found herself in a room as stars shot overhead. Ai gasped in wonder, "You poor child." spoke Hagoromo, as Ai jumped into battle stance and a growl as Black Zetsu transformed Ai's whole left arm into a bladed weapon but calmed down when he saw who it was. "Oh it's you." he spoke as he transformed Ai's arm back into normal.
Ai blinked "Whose this old guy anyway?" as Hagoromo sweatdropped "Has the world Naruto built forgotten me!" he exclaimed and fell into depression. Ai blinked and looked at her partner "What's his problem?" she asked in a flat monotone voice. Zetsu just shrugged "He always was an idiot.". Meanwhile after Hagoromo recovered and coughed, "I have seen your suffering...I've seen your pain and I have decided to give you a chance to do something." spoke Hagoromo. Ai blinked "You want me to bring despair to the world?" she asked with a raised eyebrow and Hagoromo sweatdropped "uh...no…" he replied shakeningly {I feel bad for anyone who pisses her off…} he thought.
Ai sat cross legged as Black Zetsu who was still attached to her left side was staring at the tea in front of him. "So...you want me, the current Jinchūriki of a mindless beast, to go back into time to protect Lord Seventh...and adopt him?" Ai raised an eyebrow. Hagoromo nodded in reply "Yes that is correct." "I was right you are an idiot she is 15...and you want her to become a mother to some random ass baby?" stated Zetsu. Hagoromo at this face fell and pouted. "Am not an idiot!" replied Hagoromo insulted by black Zetsu's comment. Ai sighed "I will do...Naruto...and me...are both Jinchūriki...I don't want him to go through what I went through...I dislike what the Third did..but I can't change that." spoke Ai, she then turned to Zetsu and Hagoromo and blinked. "What the hell are you two doing?" she asked confusedly. As Zetsu and Hagoromo quit wrestling and try to choke each other. "Nothing, Nothing" both responded at the same time as they settled down.
"When are we leaving?" asked Ai as she watched some shooting stars as Hagoromo approached with another cup of tea. "I'm sending you, when the Kyūbi attack Konohagakure. You can do whatever you want; intervene however you see fit." replied Hagoromo as Ai nodded and took the cup of tea. "Zetsu you in?" she asked her partner as he responded "Yeah, just so you know..a person is claiming to be Marada..however that person is your clanmate Obito Uchiha." explained Zetsu as Ai dropped the tea cup and stood up in anger, her Mangekyō Sharingan then morphed into the Rinne Sharingan as the screen behind her transformed into a blackened space as a massive Rinne Sharingan appeared and a huge roar was heard.
Ending Theme: Tsukiakari - Rie fu

A small breeze blows through the land of Fire. A brown leaf is blowing as the scene changes between Future and Past Konohagakure. The scene changes to the construction of the Hidden Lead and Madara and Hashirama overlooking the construction. The scene then changes to Junko and Kenji getting married. The scene then changes to Ai's birth as Black Zetsu appears hiding in a wall with his signature smile.

Ai wakes up in the middle of a beautiful forest and then stares at the Shinju in wonder and amazement. Black Zetsu is shown in Ai's room wearing his hooded coat, and looking at photos of Ai as a child. A now adult Hokage is seen looking at a photo smiling as Hinata rests her head on his shoulders.
