A flower was seen blowing over the darker screen when suddenly a huge Rinne Sharingan appears, and the Title card displaying NARUTOナルト appears

Ai is seen with a scared look on her face her blue dress is covered in blood in her hands is a blooded lion themed ANBU mask and she is crying tears. A teardrop falls slowly to the ground as it splashes into a pool of blood. She then raises her head up dazed as memories flash through her mind and an image of Naruto's childhood. She reaches for Naruto and falls into a river of blood as the Jūbi and Gedo Statue flank her on opposite parallel sides she then rises

More memories flash an image of Saki appearing smiling with her headband then it changes to an image with Saki supporting a battle hardened expression and her headband has a slash through it. Junko is crying being comforted by Sakura and Hinata. Ai continues to rise and grips her hand. Images depicting the events of Naruto and Boruto flash through her mind, Ai then clutches her head in pain.

She then screams in pain as the area turns into an introverted color scheme of white, black, and red. The Jūbi then opens its mouth and slowly descends onto Ai as she thrashes around violently. Imagines showing Naruto being attacked by the villagers as a child surface and of Tobi with his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning appear. The Jūbi is then introverted sideways and Ai is now falling into its mouth as the hands of the Jūbi start to intertwine with that of the Gedo Statue.

Ai closes her eyes and accepts her fate. Then an image of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki appears with his hand outstretched and Ai tries to reach for it as hundreds of Jūbi arms start to reach out and grab her, dragging deeper and deeper into the pitch blackness. Then Black Zetsu's signature smile appears as an image. Ai grunts her teeth and grabs Hagoromo's hand and a bright light engulfs her as she opens her eyes revealing the Rinne Sharingan and she ties her Konohagakure head and stand on top the Jūbi with the Gedo Statue to her right Hagoromo behind her with Black Zetsu. Hagoromo nodes to her when Ai looks back and she looks forward with eyes of determination as she faces off against the masked man standing upon the Kyūbi. Then the title card appears again NARUTOナルト
Aftermath of the Kyūbi ill-fated attack on Konohagakure
The village was in tatters much of it from when the Jūbi slapped the Kyūbi out of the village but others from the battle between the Gedo Statue and the Kyūbi. The village was recovering but there were other matters to attend to. One of which involved the Kyūbi Jinchūriki at that moment the Third Hokage who had decided to retake the position was involved in a council meeting involving that side. Ai was quickly making her way to the Hokage's tower, people stared at her and pointed out the Uchiha symbol on her back. She ignored them and remembered the words of Minato and Kushina as they sacrificed themselves. She gritted her teeth as the word drowned out and she heard the whispers. She gritted her teeth as she continued her walk to the Hokage's office. She heard the whispers "kill the demon!" "Finish what the fourth started!". {"Naruto obeys Ai at all times, she is your second mother now." spoke Kushina, "Don't eat too much ramen." Minato spoke next with a chuckle.} Those words banged around in Ai's head.
She clenched her fist and stormed into the Hokage's office ignoring several Chūnin. She made her way upstairs and down the hall to the council meeting room. The secretary looked up and smiled softly. "I'm sorry the Hokage is in a meeting right now...can I take your name and the reason for your visit?" Ai held her head down as a darkening aura surrounded her. The secretary blinked and looked fearfully. "Uh...hello?" she asked at that point she wished she never asked that question. Ai snapped her head up revealing her Rinne Sharingan and made hand signs.
In the council room
Hiruzen sighed as he rubbed his temples and the civilians were calling for Naruto's death; he then poked the odd scroll that was found with Naruto. Fugaku had pointed out it was reserved for an Uchiha but a certain Uchiha. Hiruzen furrowed his eyebrows then there was a loud noise. Everyone looked up at the door. Hiruzen tilted his head slightly {What in the world…} his thoughts were interrupted by the door being ripped off with so much strength that the door frame actually cracked. An ANBU smacked against the wall with an audible smack as blood dripped down the wall. Hiruzen blinked and noticed a massive hand and a loud roar that shook the room and sent shivers down everybody's spines.
Then they heard footsteps as the hand retracted and in the door frame was a preteen girl with a Konohagakure headband. What shocked everyone was the presence of the Rinne Sharingan in her eyes and the distant, cold, and emotionless eyes. She looked left and right and spotted the scroll in front of Hiruzen. She picked it up and the scroll opened which shocked Hiruzen and Fugaku. She read the scroll aloud, "At this time...I Minato Namikaze the former Yondaime Hokage, declare Ai Uchiha the current Jinchūriki of the infamous Jūbi to be the guardian and protector of Naruto Uzumaki." She then burned the scroll using a simple flame jutsu. Hiruzen blinked and his jaw dropped {We have two...Jinchūriki?!} his mind started racing.
"Now...then…" spoke Ai in a cold, uncaring manner as she turned her head upon the three elders before her. "Where is my musuko…" she finished. Hiruzen gulped and looked fearful at this small girl as another roar was heard and the building shook as the roof was ripped off and everyone looked up to see a massive rabbit-like monster with a single Rinne Sharingan cast its gaze upon everyone in the room. Hiruzen shrunk further in his seat inwardly praying for whatever god's he pissed off to forgive him. "I will ask again...where is my musuko?!" snarled Ai as she stomped her foot causing the floor to crack slightly.
Hiruzen just pointed weakly down the hall, and Ai bowed before leaving everyone alone with the massive Jūbi whose huge eyes watched Ai leave and then rapidly snap back to everyone in the room. The shinobi council had managed to keep calm despite inwardly panicking. The civilian council was unlucky; many passed out due to sheer fear or were huddled together praying for Minato to come and rescue them. Ai entered the room and her heart dropped as before she stood a nurse holding a kunai "Die! You killed my husband!" she screamed as her blood shot eyes landed on the sleeping Naruto. Ai quickly went through hand signs "Katon: Kaenbin tekunikku!" a small burst of flame shot forward and ignated as it hit the nurse causing her to scream and fail around trying to put out the flames. Ai shot past the screaming women and grabbed Naruto, shushing him as he started to cry he looked up at Ai and tearfully snuggled into her chest.
Ai looked up at the woman and had enough of her frantic attempts to try and douse herself. She tucked Naruto under her arm and charged forward and managed to slam the woman into a window she had been trying to claw open. The window crashed and the flaming body of the woman flew. Ai hugged Naruto as she heard the nurse's body collide with the pavement below. Several ANBU bursted into the room and found a broken window and several scorch marks on the ground and walls. The dog masked one approached Ai, and recognized her as the girl who had helped Minato drive off the Masked Uchiha.
"What happened?" he asked as he crouched in front of the girl, who rocked back and forth cradling Naruto into her shoulder. "I will protect him...I will become Konohagakure's demon on his behalf." she repeated over and over again causing Kakashi to flinch at that and his body moved on its own and hugged her and rubbed her head. A moment later Kakashi used a body flicker to carry her and Naruto back into the council room. Hiruzen placed a document in front of Ai "We checked the document...it's legitimate we only ask you to become a shinobi of Konohagakure.." Ai took her headband and wrapped it around her eyes and the Jūbi slipped away as the building shook as it crawled back down to the ground.
Ai signed the document which shocked Hiruzen on how Ai could see but he brushed it aside. She held onto Naruto tightly and held a defensive posture. Kakashi agreed to take Ai and Naruto to their new apartment, however before she could enter she sensed someone behind them. "Kakashi-sama...please take Naruto inside." she spoke as Kakashi turned around and spotted Fugaku with Itachi and Shisui. Kakashi went inside the apartment with Naruto. Ai held her hands behind her back. "What can I do for you?" asked Ai, Black zetsu whispered in her ear "That's Fugaku, his older son Itachi and another clan member named Shisui." Fugaku coughed into his hand before saying "You're an Uchiha correct?" Ai nodded "Who's your father and mother?" questioned Fugaku further.
Ai put a hand on her chin and thought for a minute before answering. "My mother was Junko Uchiha and my father...was an ANBU. I didn't know his real name." Fugaku raised his eyes at the choice of wording and the name. {I don't recall a Junko..but based on her wording it indicated her mother is deceased} Fugaku thought. Itachi asked next "Do you have any siblings?" He also noted her choice of words regarding her mother. Ai put on a sad look and looked down to where only the bottom portion of her face was visible. "I haven't seen Saki in years…" she said slowly as Itachi and Shisui raised a brow at this. Fugaku spoke up again "Regardless of your parentage...your an Uchiha I want you and...Naruto to move back into the clan compound I can talk to the…" he was cut off by Ai, "I can't...the village is suspicious of you due to the fact the Kyūbi was being controlled by a sharingan user, that and like Naruto am also a Jinchūriki and that would cast more suspicious." Itachi found himself agreeing with her.
"She has a point….Tou-san...the village is already suspecting us and we would be placed under more suspicion if we take in both the Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi and Jūbi." Fugaku sighed. "I want you to test your skills at least...you will fight Itachi and Shisui tomorrow." Itachi and Shisui wanted to argue but Ai spoke up before he could. "That's fine..I need to let loose because Jūbi doesn't like being caged for long." her voice took a darker tone. Itachi and Shisui took a step back at that. Ai then perked up at crying and Kakashi came out flustered, handing her a crying Naruto. Ai took Naruto without a word and instantly the baby calmed down.
After Fugaku, Itachi, and Shisui left, Kakashi hung around a bit and helped Ai get sorted with the apartment. Kakashi then left the newly acquainted second mother and her new charge alone. Ai looked at Naruto and held him close to her chest. "It's okay." Black Zetsu appeared having been spending time setting up a network of interconnected white zetsu clones set around the apartment. "Angry mobs have been spotted but I managed to...heh heh persuade them otherwise." Black zetsu smiled at the thought of eating civilians. Ai slowly patted his head. Ai then rocked Naruto back and forth softly reciting a Haiku she had read as a child.

Naruto slowly fell asleep holding her thumb. Ai smiled and brushed her hair softly and looked out the window at her new home. {I will be the demon...no..the demoness...Naruto-kun doesn't need to feel this burden I will take the burden off his plate.}
Ending Theme: Tsukiakari - Rie fu

A small breeze blows through the land of Fire. A brown leaf is blowing as the scene changes between Future and Past Konohagakure. The scene changes to the construction of the Hidden Lead and Madara and Hashirama overlooking the construction. The scene then changes to Junko and Kenji getting married. The scene then changes to Ai's birth as Black Zetsu appears hiding in a wall with his signature smile.

Ai wakes up in the middle of a beautiful forest and then stares at the Shinju in wonder and amazement. Black Zetsu is shown in Ai's room wearing his hooded coat, and looking at photos of Ai as a child. A now adult Hokage is seen looking at a photo smiling as Hinata rests her head on his shoulders.
