A flower was seen blowing over the darker screen when suddenly a huge Rinne Sharingan appears, and the Title card displaying NARUTOナルト appears

Ai is seen with a scared look on her face her blue dress is covered in blood in her hands is a blooded lion themed ANBU mask and she is crying tears. A teardrop falls slowly to the ground as it splashes into a pool of blood. She then raises her head up dazed as memories flash through her mind and an image of Naruto's childhood. She reaches for Naruto and falls into a river of blood as the Jūbi and Gedo Statue flank her on opposite parallel sides she then rises

More memories flash an image of Saki appearing smiling with her headband then it changes to an image with Saki supporting a battle hardened expression and her headband has a slash through it. Junko is crying being comforted by Sakura and Hinata. Ai continues to rise and grips her hand. Images depicting the events of Naruto and Boruto flash through her mind, Ai then clutches her head in pain.

She then screams in pain as the area turns into an introverted color scheme of white, black, and red. The Jūbi then opens its mouth and slowly descends onto Ai as she thrashes around violently. Imagines showing Naruto being attacked by the villagers as a child surface and of Tobi with his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning appear. The Jūbi is then introverted sideways and Ai is now falling into its mouth as the hands of the Jūbi start to intertwine with that of the Gedo Statue.

Ai stood on top of the first form of her partner, the Jūbi. The Nation-Building God, or The One-eyed God, as it was formerly known as. Naruto had been taken back to Konohagakure courtesy of white zetsu. AI had her eyes closed as she stood on top of the massive Rabbit-like monster. She then pulled out two double chained Kama, as the beast awaited her command. Her breathing came to a crawl as time slowed down. The subtle heartbeat was heard throughout the land. AI then flashed her eyes revealing the Rinne Sharingan in all their glory as the rabbit monster unleashed a massive roar. She scanned the battlefield and spotted the remaining Root ANBU and she raised both her hands as if she was a holy deity bathing in holy light.

"Now...feel despair!" she said darkly, and one of the root ANBU dropped her sword and collapsed to her knees. "What have we done…." she cried as the shadow of the Jūbi huge hand slowly descended. The air was silent and cold as a massive dust cloud erupted and a mighty roar blasted throughout the land.

Meanwhile in Konohagakure

Hiruzen sighed for the upteempth time as he was stuck in a meeting. Danzō was sitting there wondering why his ANBU he sent after the two Jinchūriki hadn't reported back in with their handlers. Then there was some shouting and yelling and the door busted down as White Zetsu came running in holding tightly to one Naruto Uzumaki. White Zetsu stared at Danzō for five seconds before pointing to him. "You sent your tools after Naruto-Kun and Ai-sama!" Everyone blinked and Danzō felt slightly uncomfortable and confused at how this pale-skinned humanoid knew, and he started shrinking as Hiruzen and the other clan heads glared hard at him.

Hiruzen was about to speak up, then Naruto escaped after a few minutes out of White Zetsu's grasp. "You bondage mummy bastard! Leave me and kaasan alone!" he shouted as he got angry. Hiruzen facepalmed and sighed heavily. Then Asuma, Kurenai rushed into the room, wide eyed and covered in dust. Hiruzen raised a brow and looked at White Zetsu. "Did she release the-you-know-what?" he asked with a sigh. Ino cut in "You mean the...Jūbi?" Hiruzen facepalmed and felt a massive headache coming up. He wanted to strangle his former teammate and friend, he wanted to strangle him and have him buried in the Forest of Death.

Hiruzen calmed himself and shouted "ENOUGH!" which quickly quited the various dissenting voices, and arguing. He then whirled to Danzō full of rage causing Danzō to sweat slightly. "You have done many things behind my back….I've been giving you...and the damn civilian council!" He emphasised the "civilian council" portion loudly and audibly with rage and anger. "Too much leeway...that ends today! Disband your god-forsaken Root once and for all or Kami so help me I will allow the Jūbi to destroy you and your entire organization! YOU HEAR ME!" he roared loudly. Danzō just nodded quickly, Hiruzen puffed on his pipe "And leave Naruto and Ai completely alone!"

Just as Hiruzen was about to turn to Asuma and Kurenai, when a loud crash was heard and the wall was smashed by one of the Tails of the Jūbi the end was the shape of a hand and had Rinne Sharingan embodied in the hand. AI then entered through the hole in the wall. She looked around confused and spotted Naruto "S..s..sochi…" she said softly as she started crying and hugged Naruto tightly. She glared at Danzō, and Hiruzen "Stay the hell away from us….". Hiruzen then reached out and Ai made a hand seal and uttered one word "Kamui…".

The air around her whirled and spinned into a vortex as Ai and Naruto vanished into thin air. Hiruzen slammed his fist into the table {"Damn it….Minato...Kushina...I've failed you…"}

Timeskip a year later

Ai and Naruto were on their way to the academy, the sun was shining and the air was cool as a crisp. Ai held Naruto's hand tightly as the villagers passed her by, they no longer glared at the two Jinchūriki, at least visibly. Ai had packed Naruto's lunch and changed his wardrobe by burning all his orange jumpsuits with a simple Fire release technique. She replaced them with a short sleeved black shirt, pants and sandals and a matching sleeveless vest. Near the academy Naruto scrunched his face slightly "kaa-san…." he began slowly, as Ai paused in her stride. "Yes sochi?" asked Ai as she turned to face him and brushed the hair out of his eyes.

"You're not gonna destroy the village again...are you?" he asked with a gulp. Ai raised her eyes and laughed slightly. "I promise I won't destroy the village again...maybe you could invite your new teammates home, when you graduate." Naruto nodded thoughtfully before responding "As long as Zetsu doesn't eat them…" he huffed and puffed his cheek. Ai laughed and patted his back as they entered the academy. They entered the academy building proper and spotted Iruka, who waved at them but gulped when Ai smiled.

He bowed respectfully, "Good morning Uch...err..Ai-sama and Naruto." Iruka sighed in relief as he recalled that Ai and the main Uchiha clan no longer get along, especially with the Uchiha clan massacre. Ai smiled and gave a curt nod and whacked Naruto in the back of his head. "Ow...uh...hello Iruka-sensei." responded Naruto as he bowed back to Iruka. Ai watched as some students began to enter and fill up the room. They eyed the pair before sitting back down. Ai knelt down by her adoptive son and held him close and looked him up and down before speaking. "Sochi…" She began and Naruto turned to face his adoptive mother. Ai cleared her throat "Be good, don't underestimate your opponents, don't tell people about our status as Jinchūriki, and don't show off your skills or intelligence." Ai ruffled Naruto's hair and placed her right hand on Naruto's left side as Black Zetsu slithered from underneath her jacket sleeve. "Black Zetsu monitored Sochi, and let me know if anything happens."

Black Zetsu just grunted a response "Hn", Ai sighed {"He's worse than Sasuke…"} Ai thought of her cousin for a minute. She then shook her head and kissed Naruto's forehead and used Kamui to leave. Some kids including Iruka looked shocked and gobsmacked. Naruto just shrugged and took his older seat. He looked around and was disappointed to not see his "friends" {"They graduated...are they really my friends?"} he thought as he settled down to listen to the lecture given by Iruka.

Hokage's office

Ai entered the Hokage's office after glaring holes into the secretary's head for about fifteen-minutes. She noticed Kurenai Yūhi was also in the room alongside her Team. Ai looked each of the Genin over {"hmm... Shino Aburame, Akamaru, Hinata Hyūga, and Kiba Inuzuka"} she was wondering what they were doing here. Hiruzen coughed into his hand gaining everyone's attention, minus Ai who refused to look at him. Hiruzen sighed sadly knowing he messed up by allowing Danzō to do as he pleases, he knows he will have to make it up to Ai and Naruto soon.

Kurenai looked over at Ai, with slight concern which was outweighing her annoyance at her outright disrespect. Hiruzen kept going, "Ai, you obviously are a skilled kunoichi." Ai looked up and placed her hand on her hip. "That being said...I don't want your skills to go to waste...therefore I decided to place on Team 8 as a co-leader under Kurenai." Ai and Kurenai blinked and looked at each other. Ai was worried for her son, and Kurenai was worried for her students as Ai was A. The granddaughter of Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju, B. A Jinchūriki, and C. Extremely protective of her son. Kurenai thought about the last point she brought up.

She looked at Kiba and at Hinata, particularly worried she sighed and looked back at Hiruzen. "I will agree only if she does." Ai sighed "I will agree on one condition, that I be allowed to return home if I feel like Sochi is endangered." Kurenai looked like she wanted to argue but a look from Hizuren told her to agree. Kurenai nodded, Ai then felt something in her chest she blinked {"Not now White Zetsu…"} Ai hoped this meeting would be done so she can hear how Naruto's day went so far.

Ending Theme: Tsukiakari - Rie fu

A small breeze blows through the land of Fire. A brown leaf is blowing as the scene changes between Future and Past Konohagakure. The scene changes to the construction of the Hidden Lead and Madara and Hashirama overlooking the construction. The scene then changes to Junko and Kenji getting married. The scene then changes to Ai's birth as Black Zetsu appears hiding in a wall with his signature smile.

Ai wakes up in the middle of a beautiful forest and then stares at the Shinju in wonder and amazement. Black Zetsu is shown in Ai's room wearing his hooded coat, and looking at photos of Ai as a child. A now adult Hokage is seen looking at a photo smiling as Hinata rests her head on his shoulders.
