"So this Mustard, do you think they trained Leon?" Goh asked, snooping around Ash's room.
"They said he trained some of the best, it's possible Leon trained there at one point." Ash said.
"Ooh, mini fridge!" Goh exclaimed. "Even if he did, what's your plan, it's not like you can just take the time off of school."
"I don't have to, I'll put it in for our Spring Break research trip." Ash said.
"The what now?" Goh asked.
"Oh yeah, you haven't been here for it." Ash realized. "Every break from school we put in a vote for where we want to do a research project, and then it gets decided and we have to bring a presentation as to why we should go there." Ash said. "Also, there's only water in there. I don't keep anything else in here anymore."
"So, would I also get a vote?" Goh asked.
"I don't see why not, you're a part of the team again." Ash said.
"Cool, Marnie talked about one place and I really want to check it out, I'll put that in, apparently it's filled with rare Pokémon." Goh said. "Ooh, juice."
"Yeah, just make sure you have enough infor… wait that's not juice!" Ash exclaimed. It was too late as Goh had already taken a sip.
Five minutes later
"Ughh, what did you let me drink?" Goh asked.
"I told you I only had water!" Ash scolded.
"Blarrf! But what was it?" Goh moaned, as he hugged a toilet.
"If you're worried about it killing you, it won't." Ash said.
"Sure feels like it." Goh moaned.
"It was a gift from Dawn, she did a product show here a few months back, and gave us some samples." Ash said.
"But what is it?" Goh said.
"Well the good news is, your throat has no dry skin." Ash said.
"What's the bad news?" Goh said.
"You're in for a long night." Ash said.
"It's four in the afternoon!" Goh exclaimed.
"How do you think I feel, you rummaged through my things, drank something without asking, and now you're hugging my toilet." Ash scolded.
"Okay, fair enough." Goh said, vomiting again. "Why does it smell like Mago Berries?" Goh cried.
It did not take long for the vomiting to stop, thankfully at least.
"Okay, I just got off the phone with Dawn. She said that a glass of Petaya, Jacoba, and Rowan berries will take care of it, and to make sure the seeds are in it." Chloe said. "Goh why'd you even drink it?"
"I thought it was juice!" Goh cried out.
"It's in a glass bottle, with a spritzer attachment!" Chloe scolded.
"I'll see if the market has the berries." Ash said.
"You're leaving me here!" Goh said.
"Yep, everything you need should be under the sink. I expect my toilet to be cleaned up by the time I get back, and don't eat anything else, it's only going to be worse." Ash warned.
"Why does he know all that?" Goh complained.
"Who do you think went to the event? Ash doesn't miss many of his friends' achievements if he can help it." Chloe said. "I, however, am not helping you with this."
Later on that evening
"How much is left of this?" Goh complained.
"A fair amount." Chloe said holding. Up the blender. "Anyone see where Ash went?"
"I think he went to meditate, do you need him?" Ren asked.
In the aura tree
"Hello Ash, it's been a while." Sir Aaron said, sitting in front of him.
"Are you here to warn me of my newly developed powers?" Ash asked.
"Not quite youngster." Ultima said walking up. "Do you know why we are able to communicate with you?"
"The text was a bit vague, but the plain of aura connects us all even in death, right?" Ash said.
"Yes, and no. While we are connected, an aura user cannot connect to one they have not met, or have a connection to. For me, you connected to my Lucario, and as such we have a bond." Sir Aaron said.
"As for me, we spent plenty of time together, but that is not why we are here." Ultima said. "The aura plain is a place between realities, not linked to any one. When something travels through it, they leave a trail."
"One of those beings was the Darkrai you've had problems with." Sir Aaron said.
"So you're saying we can track him?" Ash asked.
"A few hundred years ago it would have been possible, but at this point the trail crosses all about with all of his travels." Ultima said. "There is a new line though."
"Another one from another dimension?" Ash asked concerned.
"Yes, the line just started going a few weeks back, and it's been heading here." Sir Aaron said.
"What should I do about it?" Ash asked.
"It could simply be stranded, looking for a strong aura signal." Ultima said.
"Or it could be allied with Darkrai coming to stop you." Sir Aaron said.
"I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it." Ash said.
"Be warned, the trail is powerful, more so than Darkrai's." Sir Aaron warned.
Meanwhile outside the front gates
"Black metal bars! You will not stop me!" The strange Pokemon said, yelling at the gate.
"Can I help you." A large Pokémon said, looking at the mysterious Pokémon.
"You! Orange one! Use your wings to help me over this strange obstacle, I need to meet a so called trainur in there!" The mysterious Pokémon said.
"Tell me why you need to meet them." The orange Pokemon said.
"I need to show them my full power, wait no that didn't go well. I need them to battle with them, no that's still didn't work. I believe someone in there is part of my destiny in unlocking my final form to defeat those in my path." The Pokemon said proudly.
"Still sounds like you're going to hurt them. I can't let that happen." The orange one said shooting off a stream of flames.
"If it's a battle you want, I must warn you, I'm not to be messed with." The Pokemon said.
"Yeah, I've heard that before." The orange one said, swooping down and striking the mysterious Pokémon with its wing, sending it flying.
"Charizard? What are you doing out here?" Ash asked, walking out. "Did you have a battle out here?" Ash asked, seeing the scorched ground. "You know I'd have battled with you, for now stay on guard, there's a powerful Pokémon out there looking for me."
