Goh even said the Urshifu are not theirs, like with Sordward and Shielbert, I've changed the Isle of Armor story slightly for the story. They were not given the Kubfu, and now the Urshifu are still wild Pokemon. Ash will be getting his first legendary very soon though.

"Incredible! Not just one, but both Urshifu!" Mustard exclaimed. "How can I ever thank you!"

"Don't say anything about the damages." Goh said.

"How'd you find out about the hole in my tower?" Ash asked.

"You only had a hole in your tower!" Goh said.

"Yeah, what happened to yours?" Ash asked.

"Nothing, nothing happened to the tower." Goh said.

"Just everything around it." Klara snickered.

"Klara and Avery. You two did your parts in restoring the islands armor, I knew there was potential for greatness in you. From now on, no more tricks, and you can stay." Mustard said. "As for you Ash, you have one hour to gather a full team, I believe a match is in order."

"Serena, how quick can we do a check up of these four while I get two more?" Ash asked.

"You want to use those small Pokémon?" Avery scoffed.

"Yeah, plus some others of course." Ash said. "What do you say Serena?"

"I'll help with this." Honey said. "Between the two of us, you should be ready in no time."

"You can count on us." Serena added.

"So how bad did you mess up?" Chloe asked Goh as Ash walked away.

"Let's not talk about it." Goh said, avoiding the conversation.

"We had to fly back for a reason." Marnie whispered.

At the computer

"Just these two Ash?" Professor Cerise asked.

"Yeah, they should round out the team nicely." Ash said.

"The team that includes a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle?" Professor Cerise questioned.

"That would be the one." Ash said happily.

"Very well, I'll get them right away." Professor Cerise said with a laugh.

Out back at the arena

"You're here early." Mustard commented.

"I couldn't wait any longer." Ash said.

"Patience is a virtue young one." Mustard said, removing his coat, revealing a toned and fit body. "One you must have to defeat this dojo! Mienshao come on out!"

"Mienshao huh. Then I'll choose Muk!" Ash called out.

"What is Ash thinking? Using a slow Pokémon like Muk in a fight like this?" Goh asked.

"Clearly you never saw Ash's fourth league match." Misty said walking up.

"I've seen most of them, but I'm not sure what you mean." Chloe admitted.

"Mienshao use Fake Out!"

"Muk use Body Slam!"

Mienshao raced forward striking Muk, stopping it mid attack.

"Now use Blaze Kick!"

"Use Sludge Bomb!"

Mienshao landed on Muk, only to slide down onto the ground in a prone position. Muk took the opportunity to pelt it with Sludge Bomb.

"Use U-Turn!"

"Use Body Slam!"

As Mienshao swiped at Muk, they were enveloped by the purple Pokémon, unable to return to their trainer.

"That's Muk for you." Misty laughed.

"Now use Close Combat."

"Hold it down Muk!"

A flurry of punches hit from below Muk as he tried to keep Mienshao down. Eventually even Muk's hold wasn't enough as Mienshao broke free.

"Mienshao use Close Combat."

"Muk use Sludge Bomb!"

Mienshao was beginning to slow down from the damage as several Sludge Bomb's made it through the Close Combat.

"Use U Turn!"

"Muk use that new move Return!"

Shortly after colliding, Mienshao returned to its Pokeball, a Luxray taking its place.

"Muk use Mud Bomb!"

"Luxray use Psychic Fangs!"

Luxray charged forward, clamping its jaw down on Muk before throwing it into the air.

"Muk use Body Slam!"

"Luxray don't let it land! Use Wild Charge!"

Luxray leapt into the air after Muk, electricity surrounding it. Muk was only regaining its focus as it was launched even further into the air. Moments later, Muk came crashing to the ground with Luxray standing victorious on top of him.

"Muk return! Bulbasaur I choose you!"

"One poison type for another?" Goh said in surprise.

"Bulbasaur is much more than just poison." Klara said.

"It's also a grass type." Honey added.

"And this Bulbasaur has a lot of history." Misty said leaning forward.

"Bulbasaur use Razor Leaf!"

"Luxray use Psychic Fangs!"

Luxray charged forward only to stop at the oncoming wall of leaves firing at it.

"Now while it's distracted use Vine Whip!"

"Use Crunch!"

Mustard and Luxray weren't prepared for how the attack was actually going to launch, as Luxray was wrapped in vines then thrown into the air, it's attack missing entirely.

"Now give them a taste of their own medicine! Use Solar Beam!"

"Luxray use Wild Charge!"

As Luxray began to fall, it was enveloped in a bright light. A dust cloud formed, and in the center was Bulbasaur pushing back against Luxray.

"Luxray use Play Rough!"

"Bulbasaur use Vine Whip!"

Luxray began leaping around Bulbasaur as the smaller Pokémon tried to keep up to no avail.

"Bulbasaur use Sleep Powder!"

"Luxray get out of there!"

A green powder fell around Bulbasaur and Luxray, lulling the large Pokémon to sleep.

"Bulbasaur use Solar Beam!"

"Luxray wake up and use Psychic Fangs!"

Mustard's commands fell on deaf ears as Luxray was blasted away, defeated.

"You did great Luxray come on back." Mustard sighed. "You must forgive us, it's been a while since we battled someone like this. Corvinight strike fear from the skies!"

"Corvinight huh? Bulbasaur take a deserved rest. Charizard I choose you!"

"Charizard use Flamethrower!"

"Corvinight use Light Screen!"

A mystic barrier popped up in front of Corvinight absorbing the first half of Charizard's attack, the second half pushing it back.

"Charizard keep it going with a Seismic Toss!"

"Corvinight counter with Body Press!"

The two Pokémon fought in the sky, both trying to keep the other on bottom. When the dust cleared, both were already taking off again.

"Charizard use Flamethrower!"

"Corvinight use Iron Head!"

Corvinight charged through the flames heading straight for Charizard, sending the fire type plummeting.

"You know better than this, we've been over this before Leon!" Mustard scolded, before realizing his mistake. "I'm, I'm sorry. It's just with the Charizard and your passion, I forgot, that you weren't him."

"Apologize after the battle. Charizard keep it up use Dragon Pulse!"

"Corvinight counter with Brave Bird!"

The two energies collided in the air, an explosion covering the arena.

"Charizard use Flamethrower!"

"Corvinight use Iron Head!"

As Corvinight closed in, it began to slow down and descend towards the ground, quickly picking up speed.

"Corvinight return! You did great old friend." Mustard said. "Ash, please understand I didn't mean to call you Leon."

"It's fine. Will Corvinight be okay?" Ash asked concerned.

"This old bird has been through worse, she'll recover." Mustard said with a smile. "Our battle is far from over though. Mienshao come back out!"

"Charizard use Air Slash!"

"Mienshao use Close Combat!"

Charizard swooped down, picking up speed as he approached Mienshao, only to sweep up at the last moment, avoiding the fighting types attack. Mienshao on the other hand was pushed back from the wind.

"Now use Dragon Pulse!"

"Use U-Turn!"

Mienshao leapt forward, pushing through Charizard's attack, but on the return trip from striking Charizard it was knocked out from the second hit.

"Mienshao return. You did great." Mustard said.

"Charizard come back!" Ash called out. "Take a break, you've deserved it."

"Why'd Ash return Charizard? They were winning." Chloe questioned.

"He just beat a Corvinight and a Mienshao, along with the small damage U-Turn did, Mustard was likely expecting his next Pokémon to one shot Charizard." Marnie pointed out.

"And what happens if he needs it for something even bigger that's yet to come." Goh added.

"Lycanroc I choose you!"

"Come on out Squirtle!"

"Lycanroc use Accelerock!"

"Squirtle use Withdraw!"

Squirtle retreaded into his shell, as Lycanroc sped into him.

"Now use Hydro Pump!"

"Lycanroc use Stone Edge!"

While still in his shell, a torrent of water came from Squirtle, spinning in every direction. Water flying off the rocks, hitting everything but Lycanroc.

"Lycanroc use Accelerock!"

"Squirtle use Skull Bash!"

Squirtle managed to hop back up and collide with Lycanroc, only for him to be thrown back.

"Lycanroc use Accelerock one last time!"

"Squirtle use Hydro Pump!"

Lycanroc sped forward, deftly dodging the water, striking down Squirtle, leaving the turtle prone on his back.

"Use Stone Edge!"

"Use Hydro Pump!"

It was no use as the stones jutted up from the ground, defeating Squirtle.

"Squirtle return." Ash said. "Bulbasaur I choose you!"

"Lycanroc use Stone Edge!"

"Bulbasaur use Razor Leaf!"

Stones jutted up from the ground as leaves shot across the arena at Lycanroc.

"Dodge it!" Both trainers called out as their Pokemon jumped.

"Use Solar Beam!"

"Use Accelerock!"

Lycanroc charged forward, and Ash knew he only had this one shot. If Lycanroc hit first, Bulbasaur would go down in vain.

Light erupted from the two Pokémon, with Bulbasaur defeated and Lyanroc limping.

"Two Pokémon in a row." Serena said worridley.

"Don't worry, Ash can turn it around. He always does." Misty reassured.

"Kingler I choose you! Use Crab Hammer!"

"Lycanroc use Play Rough!"

Despite its higher speed, Lycanroc was hit down before it could hit Kingler, the large pincer pinning it down.

"Lycanroc get out of there with Accelerock!"

"Kingler don't give it the chance! Use Hammer Arm!"

Kingler's second pincer went down hard, defeating the Lycanroc where it was.

"Smart, using my own size against me. That won't work for this one though." Mustard said. "Kommo-o I choose you!"

"Kingler use Blizzard!"

"Kommo-o use Aura Sphere!"

The aura sphere pushed through Kingler's Blizzard knocking it back a few feet.

"Kingler use Crabhammer!"

"Kommo-o use Clanging Scales!"

Kingler and Kommo-o collided, with Kingler being pushed back.

"Ash switch him out, Kingler isn't big enough!" Goh shouted.

"Kingler use Blizzard!" Ash called out.

The crab Pokemon shot a point blank blizzard attack at Kommo-o using the last of its fleeting energy.

"Kingler return! Charizard let's do this quick!" Ash said, seeing the ice around Kommo-o begin to break.

"Charizard use Dragon Pulse!"

"Kommo-o use Flash Cannon!"

The attacks swirled around each other, going straight for their intended targets. Neither Pokémon was going down without a fight.

"Charizard use Air Slash!"

"Kommo-o use Clanging Scales!"

As the Pokémon collided, Charizard crashed and a cloud of dust overfilled the stadium.

"Wait who won!" Goh cried out.

"No one, they each still have a Pokémon left." Serena said.

"Shi!"

"Fu!"

The Urshifu landed in the arena as the dragons were returned to their Pokeballs to rest.

"Wait, Urshifu. Are you saying you want to battle with me?" Ash asked.

"Fu!"

"Well then a battle of Urshifu, May the better combination win." Mustard said.

"Alright Urshifu use Thunder Punch!" Ash called out.

"Urshifu strike back with Dynamic Punch!"

The fists collided as both leapt back.

"Let's try this one." Ash said looking at his phone. "Urshifu use Surging Strikes!"

"Urshifu show them true power with your Wicked Blow!"

Ash's Urshifu went in fists ablaze as Mustard's Urshifu waited and struck once in between the hits.

"Urshifu use Aerial Ace!"

"Urshifu use Headbutt!"

As they charged at each other, Ash's Urshifu swept low, knocking his opponent off their feet.

"Now Urshifu use Focus Punch!"

"Urshifu block it with a Dynamic Punch!"

As Ash's Urshifu went for the final blow, it stopped mere moments before it would hit. Then extended its hand. Mustard's Urshifu took the hand as it stood up, bowed and left.

"No fair, where's the all out battle!" Klara complained.

"Both understood who won, there was no need to continue the battle." Avery said.

"Well Ash, I'm impressed, I hope you got as much out of this battle as I did." Mustard said.

"Are you kidding! This was amazing! I mean a full fight is one thing, but for it to end between two legendaries! On top of that I beat the strongest trainer in the dojo! I'm not sure how you could've gotten that much out of the battle!" Ash said excitedly.

"Ash, you think I'm the strongest in the dojo?" Mustard asked.

"Look, just because I won doesn't mean I think." Ash began.

"That's not what he meant. It may be Mustard's dojo, but he's not the strongest member of it." Honey said walking up. "I am."
