Thank you Unsuspecting, starrat, softsoundjameson, ShugoYuuki123, and pendora59 for the reviews!

The scenes below are quite random and happened before the next chapter.
You can skip this but you might get confused later on about Akachan's relationship with other characters like the Yaomomo's and the Todoroki's.

Ah, the last scene might be a bit... depressing or uh deep sad feeling something so be warned.

Disclaimer: BNHA is not mine. The only things I own are my original characters and some plots in this story.

English is not my first language, and writing stories is just a hobby, so I apologize for any mistakes made in the story.

*Note: these 'thoughts' are all from Akasuki unless said otherwise.

Italics like this without ' ' and with * * is the author breaking the fourth wall.

I hope you enjoy this chapter!

A CHAPTER FULL OF FILLERS: SCENES BEFORE CANON

Akasuki let out a big yawn as she spread out her arms, sitting on top of her bed. She sluggishly rubs her right eye as she waits for her brain to be fully awakened.

She glances at her left where a small alarm clock can be seen ringing probably for a while now.

Alarm clocks don't work well with her body clock though.

She lazily reached out her left hand to turn the alarm clock off before letting out yet another yawn.

Later on, the redhead can be seen brushing her teeth in the bathroom near her bedroom on the second floor. She could hear faint sounds from downstairs- most probably her parents arguing which one would be cooking breakfast today.

She spits out the excess toothpaste before placing her toothbrush under the running water, cleaning all the remaining toothpaste on it.

Then she placed her toothbrush on its holder before reaching out to grab her cleanser to begin her morning skincare routine.

Honestly, she's thankful that in her second life she got money to afford this kind of stuff- well her parents' money but who cares.

Like damn, she's been missing out on this kind of skincare from her previous life- where she could barely manage to afford her daily necessities.

After all, there was no time to think about looks if you could barely have the money for school and food.

That's... a bit depressing to think of right now.

"Oh!", Kaori Genji perks up as she spotted her daughter walking down the stairs, "Good morning Akachan!", she greeted cheerfully before placing a kiss on her daughter's forehead once the redhead teen got closer.

"What a wonderful morning, isn't it?", she continues cheerfully as she places the plateful of eggs on the dining table, "I heard your little brothers invited you to go training on the beach today"

Akasuki, now seated on the dining chair, let out a groan at the reminder, "It's my first day off and I want to spend it lazying around!", she whines as her head fell on top of the dining table.

"Why can't they train with their trainer, Toshinori-san?!"

Sadao let out a snort as he enters the dining room with a huge bowl of rice on hand, "Because you spoil them too much", he answered dryly before setting down the huge bowl of rice on the dining table.

"As if you're any better", Kaori commented dryly as she took a seat opposite of her daughter, "You have no right to say that when you spoil your daughter too much"

Akasuki deadpans as her father began fawning at her mother and there goes the start of their lovey-dovey moment.

Akasuki let out a sigh as she sat down on one of the benches outside the villa, where it is crowded by business owners and partners.

It's a charity ball hosted by her parents so it's one of the responsibilities the redhead should comply with, unfortunately.

It was a pain to smile and fake laugh! Ugh~

"Good evening, Akasuki-senpai"

Akasuki playfully raised an eyebrow at the ebony-haired beauty walking closer, "You're that confident you'll be acing the recommendations exam, I see", she responded teasingly.

Yaomomo let out a chuckle, now sitting beside the redhead, "While I am confident with my skills I am still nervous", she confessed while clasping her hands together, "I... want to pass so desperately it is quite embarrassing"

The redhead let out a snort, "Embarrassing? Yao-chan, you told me yourself Yuuei is your dream school. Nothing is embarrassing about getting nervous! In fact-!"

Akasuki grinned as she pointed at herself using her thumb, "I was a nervous wreck when I did my recommendations exam! I think I ended great, didn't I?"

The ebony-haired teen smile, "You ended great", she assures the redhead, "I even saw you on the television last week"

The redhead teen raised an eyebrow, "Last week?", she mused, thinking on what it could be.

"The collaborate underground operation", Yaomomo reminded making a wave of realization wash over the redhead, "Oh that", Akasuki breathed out.

"It wasn't one... of my proudest moment", the redhead smile weakly at the ebony-haired girl, "After all, I didn't manage to save the family in the end"

Yaomomo frown at that sentence, "The reporter said they were dead a few days before the operation", she justifies, "You are only human, Akasuki-senpai. You couldn't possibly predict their deaths"

Akasuki stares at the ebony-haired beauty, a warm feeling settling on her chest making a cheeky grin appear on her face.

"How about I adopt you as our cousin, Yao-chan?"

Yaomomo's tense shoulder loosen as she let out a chuckle, "I don't think that's possible, Akasuki-senpai", she answered so gracefully the redhead couldn't help but fawn at the formal little lady.

"Although I can assure you, my parents and I wouldn't mind"

The redhead couldn't help but pull the black-haired heiress into her arms for a hug which Yaoyorozu made sure to return the gesture.

Now she definitely wants some little sister to fawn over!

"GODDAMNIT!"

Akasuki sweatdrops as the drone that Katsuki has been tinkering short circuit once again resulting in one fuming pomeranian.

Izuku, who is standing beside the ash-blonde boy and opposite of the redhead heroine, simply let out a nervous laugh while averting his gaze as his drone levitates a few centimeters off the table.

'I don't know whether to swoon or be terrified at my future'

The three of them can be found at the Genji's basement or, as her father calls it, their "Scifi Hideout".

"You chose the wrong wire", the redhead teen point at the yellow wire with her pointer finger, "There's a high possibility you messed up with the others too", she ended dryly.

Katsuki tch'ed before grumpily attempting to salvage his drone.

"Aren't you going to teach us about motorcycles today, Aka-neechan?", Izuku asked curiously, "We've done a bunch of drones already"

"And a bunch isn't enough so it seems", Akasuki responded slyly while looking at the ash-blonde pointedly, "I have no clue how you're successful in building a small generator but fail at building a small drone"

The redhead shook her head amusingly, "Only you, Katsun"

The ash-blonde boy simply glares at her.

If it isn't obvious yet- today's session is all about teaching the boys how to fix and destroy various inventions.

Just the basics of course.

We all encounter numerous inventions daily such as the microwave, coffee maker, electric fan, guitar, laptops, and more.

As heroes, they will encounter something more advance such as bombs, missiles, guns- heck, they are hero support items that could pose a threat if went to the wrong hand.

Just like how quirks cannot be evil or good- it's the user who can be defined as such.

There's also this scene in the anime where Katsuki fixed the mall and the motorcycle's generator.

As their honorary big sister, Akasuki would make sure he'll do it with finesse and not so... barbaric-ish?

Besides, Kaminari does not exactly have unlimited electricity and it's useful to fix simple appliances too!

Aunt Mitsuki would be delighted to have someone in the house know how to fix things. Uncle Masaru isn't exactly... gifted at these sort of things.

Not to mention Aunt Inko who has been overworking herself too much. It'll less her worries when Izuku knows how to fix some household appliances so she won't need to call for a technician or something.

Akasuki snapped out from her thoughts when a drone appeared a few meters away from her face- Katsuki's drone.

The redhead girl let out a grin and give the ash-blonde a thumbs up, "Now that's more like it! Since you finished it a bit early... why don't we check that broken motorcycle in the garage?"

Both boy's eyes glinted at that piece of information. With an eager nod, the two boys rush towards the garage with a bit of roughhousing.

Akasuki let out a sigh, a fond smile appearing on her face as she watched the two boys leave enthusiastically.

'Boys do love their vehicles, huh'

She mentally notes to ask her father to buy a broken car- another lesson once they finished this motorcycle.

When Akasuki first arrived at the Todoroki's home and she couldn't help but glance around in awe.

The owner might be full of shit but- wow! It's so luxuriously traditional- wait, is that huge vacant outdoor training area?!

The redhead wonders if she could sleep over -oh she doesn't know- how about for the rest of her life.

"Both of my brothers are still at school- where you should be too", Fuyumi gave the redhead a pointed look which she responded with a sheepish smile.

"I-It's one of my free days, really", Akasuki defended weakly, averting her eyes as the white-haired narrowed her eyes further.

"W-Well... it is now.."

Fuyumi let out a sigh as she shook her head, "I'm surprised Yuuei is so... lenient to your shortcomings", she commented as she continues walking inside their household.

Akasuki raised her eyebrows in bewilderment as she mouths the word 'lenient' and 'shortcomings' while walking behind the white-haired woman.

'What's with the rich kids saying fancy words?', then she scrunched her nose, 'Wait, I'm a rich kid but why don't I used fancy words in my sentences?'

She mentally notes to read a dictionary later to widen her... vocabulary.

Maybe by the time canon comes, she'll get to have some fancy words competition with Iida and-

"-And who is this?"

'Oh shit'

The two females stopped walking at the sight of the Number Two hero standing a few meters away from them with his usual stoic expression.

'Oh god, I don't know whether to squeal, be angry, or cry in fright at his frightening aura'

Thus, the redhead ended up having a look-alike to the look of constipation.

Fuyumi, who is used to her father, simply smile, "Welcome home, I didn't know you were coming home early today", she responded lightheartedly, "She's a friend of mine, Genji Akasuki. I told you she'll be stopping by today, remember?"

Akasuki shot the white-haired girl a confused look because this isn't a planned visit more like an abrupt moment where Fuyumi suddenly invited her to come out from nowhere-

or it could be her plan all along- what a frightening woman.

She was snapped out from her thought by a nudge of Fuyumi's elbow, who still maintained the easy-going smile on her face.

"A-Ah, yes. It's a pleasure to meet you, Endeavor-san", the redhead greeted politely, a bit stiffly too, with a bow, "I am Genji Akasuki, I do hope I'm not intruding"

Endeavor narrowed his eyes, "Genji? Are you perhaps the Genji heiress of the Fuji-Gen Corporation?", he asked which the redhead responded with a nod once she straightened her posture.

Akasuki gave him a polite smile, doing her best to calm her nerves, "I am", she confirmed with a nod, "It's a... honor for someone like you to know me"

The Number Two hero let out a grunt, "Sadao mentioned you a lot", he responded, "He kept on... bragging how 'amazing' and 'wonderful' you are whenever I stopped by"

He crossed his arms, "Not to mention the stories he told me at our meetings. It is obvious how proud he is with his daughter"

At that response, the redhead is quite sure her mind short circuit.

Sadao? Bragging? Stopped by? Meetings?

Sorry but how long is her father been friends with Endeavor?! Why didn't she know this?!

"I... see", the redhead replied weakly, still processing the information given to her- which is still surprising too!

"You are in Yuuei's hero course, correct?", the flame hero queried which the redhead teen answered with a nod, "Very well, come back on Saturday at 5 pm", Endeavor instructed.

"I would like to see how Shouto compares to someone like you"

Both Akasuki and Fuyumi couldn't help but gape after that announcement.

'Excuse me but- I'll do what now?'

Seriously speaking, hero work is difficult.

In her previous life, she could compare it to soldiers- maybe? Oh! Men in Black likely but definitely like those police operations movies.

All those intelligence gatherings and making sure the rescue operation is successful- it's more nerve-wracking in real life.

Especially when there's a possibility of accidentally killing someone through the process.

Akasuki never killed a person before. She killed animals though- Althea killed a frog for their laboratory experiment and when Althea accidentally killed her pet parrot when she was a toddler.

*If you're confused, Althea is Akachan's name in her previous life*

But killing a person... she doesn't know why but she remembers all those fanfictions she read in her previous life.

In Naruto fanfictions, some oc protagonists kill because that's how being a ninja is. They're practically assassins and killing is their way of living.

In Marvel fanfictions, some oc protagonists kill people- may it be accidentally or not. Like- goddamnit Black Widow and Hawkeye are assassins. Of course, they killed someone before.

In Harry Potter fanfictions, while most oc protagonists don't directly kill someone there are some. Nevertheless, the plot was great even though there are evil Dumbledores and evil Weasley at some.

The thing is, they're fiction. They're not supposed to be real but then she supposes that's just some wishful thinking.

If you still don't get it then here it is: Akasuki killed someone today.

Although the word 'accidentally' might not mean much since it still means she killed someone.

It was a grown man- a villain. The redhead created a screen to protect this boy- a victim- when this villain appeared suddenly at the entrance.

Maybe it was probably the heat of the battle or maybe it was the fatigue but the redhead's control slipped and the red screen exploded on full force right in front of the grown man.

It took about 7 minutes and 36 seconds before the villain let out his last breath.

Normally, her [Data Crash] wouldn't have the impact to kill- only to stun or push them back but only because she's been holding back the output of the explosion.

She also made sure to have at least a few meters of distance from the target before it explodes.

But now... she didn't know what happened. It just... there was this explosion then- why?

Akasuki didn't know how she got out or how she got back in the Nighteye Agency. She didn't even remember getting rebrief by the police.

The redhead couldn't help but tune out her surroundings as one thought kept on repeating inside her mind.

'I killed someone'

And she doesn't have the urge to cry.

Is she heartless? She fucking killed a living person and no tears would come out. Her hands were trembling and there this a wave of guilt but no tears.

Not a single one. She's just so... numb.

Her lack of punishment made it worse- says that she's only following orders and she got a hero license. A mere slap on the wrist is what she got.

There's this bitter taste on the tip of her tongue- as if they're telling her it's okay for heroes to kill some villains but it's a crime when villains kill heroes.

What kind of shitty-?!

"-I see you're still in shock"

Sir Nighteye stood by her room's doorway, whose door is wide open- oh, she forgot to close it, right.

Akasuki merely watched when Sir Nigtheye walked inside her room and sat on her bed- on her right.

"You should wash up", Sir Nighteye suggested in his usual monotone voice, glancing at the redhead on the corner of his eyes, "There's blood on your suit"

The redhead instinctively touches her right leg where a splutter of blood can be seen.

Splutter of blood from the villain she exploded.

"Have you... killed someone before?", Akasuki asked, hesitantly glancing at the pro-hero, "Is it... normal?"

Sir Nighteye let out a hum as he clasp his hands together, "Should it be?", he asked while turning to face the redhead face, "Should it be normal?"

"I...", the redhead falters, a frown appearing on her face, "No but the chief police-"

"-Did you want to kill that man?", Sir Nighteye cuts in, "Did you explode the screen on purp-?"

"-Of course not!", Akasuki interjected as she look at her mentor in disbelief, "I-! I was trying to protect the victim and then he just appeared out of nowhere so-!"

She was silenced by Sir Nighteye placing his hands on her shoulders, "It's not your fault", he said with a stern look, "It was out of your control"

"But I-", she chokes out, "-I could have done better-"

"-You are still young", Sir Nighteye interrupted her again while light squeezing her shoulders, "Do not carry the burden alone, Akasuki"

He looked at her straight in the eyes for a few moments, as if looking for something, before his stern expression softened slightly.

"A little boy", he stated, breaking the silence, making the redhead blink puzzled at what her mentor said.

Sir Nighteye let out a sigh, "It was a trap made for luring All Might and we fell for it", he continues, "A little boy, who was not supposed to be there, was hanging on the corner of the building"

"I was tired with almost no strength left after all the fighting yet I still reached out to the boy"

His eyes darken, "A foolish mistake", he stated bitterly, "I manage to grab the boy but I felt a sudden pain from my arm, and I... let go"

He closed in eyes in anguish, "No child could ever survive falling from a high building so as expected, the boy died"

Sir Nighteye opens his eyes, his eyes glossier compared to before, "I... All Might be there for me", then he let go of the redhead's shoulder and stiffly open his arms.

"Therefore I... as your mentor, I shall be here for you"

Akasuki couldn't help but think whether she was dreaming or not.

That's why, not daring to ruin the moment, she leans into her mentor's arms and wraps her arms around his chest, tucking her head onto his chest.

She didn't know when it started but tears began to fall from her eyes.

Sir Nighteye's arms were stiff and robotic- a sign that he's somewhat uncomfortable or not used to the gesture.

If it were a normal scene, Akasuki would laugh and tease the pro-hero how awkward he is and the pro-hero would probably triple her training regime out of spite.

But somehow, this awkward man manages to give her warmth and the assurance she needs.

Akasuki closed her eyes, sniffling briefly before a small smile appeared.

Somehow, this was all she needs.
