"THEY DIDN'T FEEL A FEELING OF REGRET"
Akasuki and Mitsui stood on the podium, facing their classmates, as the redhead continued reading the guidelines given by their homeroom teacher yesterday.
"-and that's all the announcements at the moment."
With that cue, Mitsui starts passing copies of their timetable.
"This is a copy of our schedule and our list of teachers," Akasuki let out a sigh, "Sadly, the list does not contain a single trace of All Might."
Class 3-A immediately let out sounds of disappointment at that announcement.
"Bullshit!" Matsushita shouted as she slammed her hand on her desk, earning a disapproving looking from Mitsui, "Then what year is he teaching then?! Heck, is he even teaching at all, or is it all bullshit?!"
"Yeah! Was it all lies?!"
"I can't believe I was looking forward to it this year at all!"
"Man, got my hopes up for nothing."
Akasuki sweatdropped as she watched her class openly rant their disappointment about not having the Number One hero as their heroics teacher.
"Oh!", Nejire perks up, her eyes shining as she stares at Akasuki, "You can hack to Yuuei's system with your quirk, right, Sukichan?!", she clapped her hands together in joy.
"You can tell us which class All Might is teaching!"
With that helpful information yelled out by a very wonderful friend, everyone in Class 3-A snapped their attention and began staring at the redhead intensely.
"Tell us which class it is!"
"Yeah! We're all free to use our quirks here! Do it!"
"WHICH CLASS DO WE HAVE TO BEAT UP?!"
Akasuki gave the periwinkle-haired girl a look of betrayal, to which Nejire responded with a bright smile. A silent conversation began between the two.
'So that you know, Nerechan. I hate you so much right now.'
'No regrets~.'
Tamaki shrinks on his seat as the class's uproar became louder, "I knew it," he hangs his head in shame, a gloomy aura surrounding his figure, "I shouldn't have come today."
"... I want to go home."
Akasuki let out a huff as she raised her fist, silencing the whole class.
"Well, this is technically an abuse of power," she stated dryly, "But... fine", she sighed in defeat.
"All Might's teaching Class 1-A and 1-B", the redhead announces, her now golden hues glancing at the class, "All first years belonging in the Heroics Department."
As the redhead expected, her class erupted into chaos at that piece of information.
"That's so unfair!"
"Yeah! Why do the firsties get that much privilege?!"
"I demand a fucking spar against them! I DEMAND IT, DAMNIT!"
Then the class door opened with a loud bang, revealing Present Mic with his usual grin and upbeat aura.
"What's up, young listeners?!" he yelled out giddily, posing some kind of... rockstar pose-ish, "What's with this loud party about, ye?! Eraserhead is coming for your Hero Training, yeah!"
And all hell got loose once again as the whole class directed their frustrations to their homeroom teacher.
"Yamada-sensei, it's so unfair-!"
"-Why do we get a grouch as a teacher-?!"
"-Yeah! We want All Might too-!"
Akasuki couldn't help but facepalm as her class began protesting to their homeroom teacher, who was sweating like bullets at everyones' endless questions and demands.
"God help me, please."
Mitsui, the angel she is, pat the redhead's back with a solemn nod.
It didn't take long for their second day in school to end.
Most of their classes consist of reviewing the previous topic and getting the students ready for the new topics, which the teachers will probably discuss the next day or two.
Their last class of the day is their Heroics Training which, as expected, ended up being a quirk assessment test with Eraserhead as their teacher.
As promised, Eraser made sure to make this year's test 'memorable' and 'exciting' to the redhead.
If you count being more evil by adding more exercises memorable and exciting, that is.
Akasuki silently weeps on her desk, having just arrived after changing clothes in the female locker room.
"I... I can't feel my body", the redhead weeps, half of her body resting on her desk, "I think... I think I'm dead."
"Oh God, I wish," Tamaki groaned from his position on the floor; his body ached after the hellish quirk assessment test, which, he swears, is getting more challenging as time passes by.
"... I want to go home."
The rest of their classmates let out sounds of agreement, some of them managed to walk on their seats like the redhead teen, and some were too tired and numb that they ended up on the floor like the indigo-haired teen.
"This is my home now," Nejire whispers as she stares at the ceiling wistfully, one of the few who gave up on walking a couple of steps to reach their seats and ended up laying on the floor.
"Eww, is that a cockroach?"
With that cue, almost everyone in the class turns to look in the direction the periwinkle-haired teen is staring.
They end up staring at a plain ceiling with no cockroach in sight.
"I'll kill you!" Matsushita growls as she reaches out to the laughing periwinkle-haired girl but is, thankfully, intercepted by two of her classmates.
"STOP LAUGHING, YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
Akasuki slowly turns her head to face the window, deciding to ignore the commotion happening a few meters away from her.
'Nerechan... it was nice knowing you.'
Sadly, their moment was interrupted by an announcement.
"Third year, Genji Akasuki-chan -" the redhead raised her head slightly upon hearing her name, "- Recovery Girl is calling for you. Please proceed to Recovery Girl's office. I repeat-"
Akasuki let out a groan as she faceplanted on her desk. The thought of even moving an inch hurts.
"Good luck, Sukichan!", Nejire exclaimed with a closed-eye smile and a shaky thumbs-up. Tamaki muttered something inaudible under his breath before looking nauseous- probably bidding the redhead good luck too.
"You can do it!"
The redhead let out sounds of protests, not liking the idea of moving too soon, as the rest of the class let out mutters of 'good luck' while sending her a sympathetic look.
In the end, Present Mic had to fetch the redhead, who is stubbornly not moving, along with her stuff.
She couldn't believe the hardcore quirk assessment test made her forgot that today's the boys' first heroics class.
It was the same Izuku and Uraraka vs. Katsuki and Iida, just like in canon. Izuku also broke his arm when he punched a hole in the ceiling, making Uraraka do her thing and retrieved the bomb objective.
The only difference is Katsuki is with him sitting beside the bed, arriving as soon as their afternoon classes finished, scrolling through his newsfeed in boredom as he waits for the green-haired boy to wake up.
Thankfully, the green-haired cinnamon bun was awake when Present Mic dropped the redhead in front of Recovery Girl's office.
As soon as the youthful heroine gave the three of them the green light, the redhead snuck quick healing on her aching muscles; the three teens head towards the classroom of Class 1-A with the redhead between the two boys.
Naturally, Akasuki took the chance to lecture them.
"- blowing up the building and getting yourself hurt?" the redhead gave the two boys a disapproving look, "The building I can shrug off, but how many times do I have to tell you two to take care of your bodies?!"
The two boys hang their heads in shame; Izuku mutters out an apology while Katsuki settles on a mere 'tsk,' guilt settled within their guts, one more evident than the other.
Akasuki let out a sigh before ruffling the boys' hair, "As punishment, no after school training for a week," she declared.
Both boys gave her a look of disbelief, and a pointed look immediately shut down their protests.
"And if I found out you two are still training outside your class, I will make it a month," she said firmly, emphasizing the last phrase as she glanced at the two boys, "Am I clear?"
Izuku uttered a "Yes, Aka-neechan" with a sad aura surrounding him while Katsuki merely grunted, earning a sharp look from the redhead.
"I said, am. I. Clear, Katsuki?" a frightening dark aura surrounded the redhead heroine as she stared at the ash-blonde teen, her cerulean blue eyes shining oh so frighteningly.
Katsuki let out a 'tch,' sweat dripping down his forehead as he stubbornly averted his gaze from the redhead before managing to choke out a "Yeah."
The three of them arrived in front of the Class 1-A's classroom doors, much to the boys' relief.
"Now, go get your stuff, and we'll go home together," Akasuki instructed as she withdrew her hands from their heads, "Ah, say goodbye to your newfound friends too. I'll be waiting here."
Katsuki glares at the redhead for that statement before following Izuku, stepping inside their classroom.
'Honestly,' Akasuki pinched the bridge of her nose, 'It's like there are two Izuku now.'
She let out a sigh, mentally noting to beat up some self-preservation into the two of them.
"Oh, Midoriya and Bakugo are here!"
Before the two boys could even blink, their classmates were all around them.
"Good work, Midoriya!"
Kirishima grinned, "We have no absolute idea what the two of you were saying during the match, but you were -!"
"Get out of my way!", Katsuki rudely interrupted the redhead male with a scowl as he pushed himself through the crowd, his classmates reluctantly making way for the ash-blonde.
"Man, he's so intense," Mina commented as they watched Katsuki walk towards his seat and grumpily began packing his stuff; she turned to look at the green-haired teen, "It's so hard to believe you're practically brothers!"
Izuku let out a nervous chuckle as he scratched his cheek, "Kacchan doesn't like being bombarded by questions. He means well", he answered sheepishly, "H-He'll adjust soon, don't worry.. er -?"
"Ashido Mina!" the girl with pink skin and pink hair introduced herself with a bright smile, "You did a great job dodging Bakugo's attacks!"
With that cue, the rest of the class nearby followed suit.
"I'm Kirishima Eijiro," the redhead male introduced himself with a grin before pointing at the black-haired male behind him, "We were just discussing the training together now."
"I'm Sero Hanta," the black-haired male introduced with a smile and a nod.
"I'm Aoyama Yuga," the sparkling blonde boy sitting on his seat introduced with a matching sparkling background.
"I'm Asui Tsuyu," a green-haired female stepped forward, "Call me Tsu-chan, okay?"
"I'm Sato!" a tall and muscular brown-haired male introduced on the back with his thumbs pointing at himself.
Katsuki deadpanned as the idiot began to stutter, most likely overwhelmed at being the center of attention.
Now finished packing his stuff, the ash-blonde turns around to grab the green-haired boy's stuff- completely ignoring the commotion his classmates are making.
"- actions that disrespect the chairs -!" 'what the fuck, glasses? as if the damn chair have feelings', "- the great men and women, who are our upperclassmen, once used!"
"You're too loud."
That, the ash-blonde let out a snort.
Then the classroom door opened, revealing Uraraka and Kaminari were walking in with stacks of books.
What surprised the class was the red-haired teen's head peeking in the classroom.
"What's taking you so long?", Akasuki whines, "Moto-san called me, and he's been waiting at the school gates already!"
If the dear readers are confused, Moto-san is a random name the author used for a character to their driver.
Izuku got a sling with his stamina completely drained, Katsuki with bandages all over his beautiful face and body, and Akasuki's tired and aching body.
If a company's driver is available, the redhead figures will drive just a company car for their way home.
Rich people have their privileges.
Akasuki let out a squeak, stepping back in surprise when a particular dark blue-haired teen appeared before her- now bowing at a 90-degree angle.
"It is a pleasure to see you once again, Genji-senpai!"
The redhead let out a nervous chuckle as she waved dismissively at the teen, "A-Ah, no need to be so formal, Iida-kun," she sent him a wink and a thumbs-up, "Call me Akasuki-senpai!"
"Akasuki-senpai!", Kaminari beamed, the stack of books now placed on a nearby table while Iida stammers out incoherent reply- something about being too informal to an upperclassman.
"Anyways! I'm here to tell both my brothers to speed it up!" the redhead grins as she holds out a peace sign, "If you don't, I'll make that one week into two!"
Izuku stiffened briefly before dashing to his seat and hurriedly helped Katsuki to pack up his things. The ash-blonde tsk'ed in response but fastened his pace nevertheless.
With the two boys hurriedly packing their things, the class' attention focused on the redhead upperclassman.
"Genji-senpai, I'm-!", Akasuki held out her hand in front of Uraraka's face, effectively stopping her introduction, much to the brunette's confusion.
"Uraraka Ochaco-chan, yes?" the redhead smiled while the brunette teen nodded her head furiously, "It's part of my quirk to know people, Uraraka-chan. No need to introduce yourself rather-"
Akasuki turns to face the remaining Class 1-A before bowing, "I'm Genji Akasuki, a student of Class 3-A from the heroics department."
She straightened her posture before giving the firsties a closed-eye smile, clasping her hands together in delight, "It's a pleasure to meet you all! Do take care of my little brothers, ne~."
"An angel!" Mineta gushed as he ogles the redhead, his eyes glancing from bottom to up, "I can't believe we have such a minx-!"
The purple pervert was cut off by a hand roughly grabbing his head, his black hues meeting murderous red ones.
"Fuck. Off. Grape Scum", Katsuki snarls as he glares furiously at the purple pervert, who is now trembling and sweating like bullets, "I'll fucking kill you-!"
"- not!", Izuku chimes in with a nervous laugh as he snatches the purple pervert from the ash-blonde teen's grasps, placing the teen back on the ground behind him.
"We will be going now!" the green-haired boy exclaims as he pushes the ash-blonde towards the back door, both of their bags in the cinnamon roll's possession.
"I- Let's all get along!", Izuku squeaked out one last time before grabbing his older sister, who gave the firsties a wave and dragged both the redhead and the ash-blonde away.
Once the three teens were out of their sight, the remaining students of Class 1-A gave the purple pervert mixed expressions of disapproving and disgust.
"Genkei"
Aizawa moves his chair as he faces the pro-hero, "Bakugo and Midoriya... they've been sparring with Genji ever since they were little, right?" he asked with his usual tone and expression.
Ectoplasm nodded, not looking away from a student's paper on his possession, "It decreased last year," he responded, albeit a bit unfocused, "The boys got a private trainer recently, or so I heard"
A particular blonde skeleton stiffens at the piece of information, deciding to shrink his presence as much as possible, looking everywhere but his fellow teaching staff.
The underground hero let out a hum, averting his focus from his co-worker and onto the laptop in front of him, "I see."
Present Mic peek from his position, "Why? What got you curious, Sho?" he asked with his eyes sparkling in curiosity, "Since Akachan belongs to my band of listeners, feel free to ask me anything, yeah!" he ended with a grin and a thumbs up.
Aizawa didn't bother to look up from his laptop when he replied, "From what I understood from Bakugo and Midoriya's fighting style is they're both frontline powerhouse," he grabbed a nearby piece of paper with the title 'Class 3-A Observations' seen on top.
"But somehow, there's a hint or a trace of Genji's moves in their fighting style."
The statement caught the attention of the nearby pro-hero in the faculty room.
"A trace of Genji, you say?", Midnight mused, scrunching her nose thoughtfully, "Well, that's to be expected, don't you think? Genji is their big sister, and she's bound to be their inspiration or something, right?"
Yamada held his chin thoughtfully, "I haven't seen these young listeners' spar, but... it is a high possibility. I completely agree with Nemuri!" he exclaimed with a thumbs up.
Toshinori frowns slightly, 'I haven't considered that possibility at all,' he thought as he glances at Aizawa in a mix of respect and awe, 'To think he noticed such detail this early... the future generation is in good hands, indeed.'
"Genji's fighting style relies more on flexibility rather than strength," Ectoplasm turns to look at Aizawa, his eyes softening at the thought of his student.
"It's been years since they've been sparring with one another. There's no doubt the boys picked up pieces of her fighting style."
He turns his chair to face his fellow teaching staff, and his hands clasped together on his lap, "Not to mention how she often prefers being quick and fast," he continues with a laid-back expression.
"There's also this fact where she either starts with a punch, a dodge, or pulls out her gun."
"Her gun?", Midnight repeated with raised eyebrows, surprised at the detail, "Since when does the kid get a gun as her support item?"
"Ah, that might be my fault," Snipe cuts in as he raised his right hand, "Genji asked me if it's possible to add guns to her list of support items even though it has no relation to her quirk-"
"-and I told her it's fine as long as she got her license," he let out a shrug, "I saw no problem with it since she's excellent in using it during our sessions, and Nighteye approved of it."
Present Mic's extracurricular class, JSL class, has been approved for several months now, and students in all departments attended it with the drive to learn.
Nezu extends the offer to all faculty staff interested in facilitating an extracurricular class for all students- no matter what department.
Snipe is one of the teaching staff who accepted the offer. He facilitates the extracurricular class "Shooting" done in Yuuei's shooting range facility equipped with all different kinds of guns.
Well, guns that are legal and approved by the principal, of course.
Additionally, all extracurricular classes commenced once a week. It also serves as an additional incentive that encourages students to take one, especially from the non-hero department.
"As I was saying," Ectoplasm drawls as he glances at the R-rated hero, who gave him a sheepish smile, "Bakugo has this habit of throwing his right hook first, which majority of the time indicates he's initiating a fistfight with his opponent."
"The three of them start fighting quirkless," Aizawa blinks at the newfound information, "They criticize their opponent, observing them first with weak punches and dodges, unlike the expected power punches."
"Except for Midoriya," Ectoplasm corrected, catching the underground hero's gaze, "His quirk manifested late, so he doesn't have great control of it yet to turn it off and on mid-fight. Thus, at the moment he activates his quirk at the beginning of the fight-"
"-But yes, they poke their opponent around first before getting serious."
"So they're like cats?" Yamada mused with a grin, "Cats stalk their prey before pouncing," he ended with a hint of amusement in his tone.
"Who knew we have a clowder of cats, yo!"
Toshinori let out a chuckle, "What an amusing analogy," he commented as he imagined the three teens as a kitten- specifically a certain green-haired boy, "A kitten, huh," he uttered under his breath, a bit in a daze.
"That's so cute~," Midnight squeals as she gives the voice hero a thumbs up, "I approve of calling them clowder of cats!"
Ectoplasm turns around and focuses his attention back on the bundle of papers on his desk, simply content to hear the others fawn at the idea of comparing the students as cats.
Aizawa scrunches his nose as he tries to imagine his two students and their redhead sister as cats-
A red cat is playing with a playful green kitten and a yellow hissing kitten. Then, another image popped out -a red cat hissing at a person with the green and yellow kitten behind her, serving as a shield for the two kittens.
He closed his eyes as he pinched the bridge of his nose, completely ignoring the ruckus his fellow teachers were making in the background.
'Damn it,' the underground hero thought as he tried to erase the image from his mind but failed as an image of Class 1-A as kittens appeared on his mind.
'... goddamnit'
Akasuki let out a sigh at sight before her.
As expected, today's the day where reporters swarm the entrance- calling out, desperately so, to arriving Yuuei students for an interview regarding their experience of having the Number One hero as a teacher.
She expected this but... not this much.
She also doesn't anticipate being stranded a few meters away from the reporters, with a particular indigo-haired male urgently clutching behind her.
Tamaki let out a whimper as he stared at the crowd of reporters in horror, peeking from his place behind the redhead while clutching her school uniform in fright.
"Please, no," the indigo-haired boy pleaded as Nejire tries, and fails, to pull Tamaki from the redhead, "I-I don't want to! I'm going home!"
Nejire let out a pout as she crossed her arms, stepping back as she realized Tamaki wouldn't let go of the redhead.
"Oh, stop being so stubborn, Tamaki-kun!" the periwinkle-haired girl let out a huff, "Nothing will happen to you if you just try!"
"I'M GOING TO DIE!"
Mirio let out a chuckle, "Ah, what a tough crowd," he joked, turning to glance expectantly at the redhead who gave the blonde an exasperated look.
'Yeah... nope. That's a bad one today, Mikun'
Akasuki arrived a few minutes earlier than her usual time- knowing full well what would happen today, and she made sure to warn her whole class and her two brothers through text messages.
Unfortunately, she underestimated the media since they've been camping at the entrance since dawn or so. She arrived just in time to watch Nejire try, and fail, to pull the stubborn indigo-haired boy towards the crowd with Mirio cheering on the sidelines.
Then Tamaki spotted the redhead a few meters away from them and immediately fled towards her for protection.
Which kind of works since they've been staying on this one spot for half an hour now.
Earlier, she watched Katsuki and Izuku, who arrived a few minutes after her, walked away from the four of them as if denying their existence.
Well, it was more like the ash-blonde teen dragging the green-haired teen away, but it still hurt nonetheless.
She'll get her revenge later.
So.. yeah, there goes redhead's plan on going to school early today.
Akasuki let out a sigh as her friends began their stir once again, now Nejire and Mirio trying -again- to pull Tamaki off of her only for the indigo-haired boy's grip to tighten as he shook his head sideways in denial.
She pulled out her phone, completely done for today, and opened Present Mic's contact number.
"I knew being class rep would become handy one day."
It took a couple of minutes before Yamada-sensei and Aizawa-sensei manage to carve a path for the four friends to walk through.
Er... more like they pull Tamaki through the crowd- yeah, that's more like it.
By the time the four friends arrived at their respective classrooms- they waved Mirio goodbye as he walked away towards the Class 3-B classroom- almost everyone in Class 3-A looked as haggard as they are.
"Good to see the three of you survive," Mitsui greeted them on her seat as the three teens sluggishly walked towards their respective seats, "Especially you, Amaijiki-kun. Congratulations"
The heat climbed up until the indigo-haired boy's ears as he dashes towards his set as quickly as possible, especially when the rest of the class followed suit and congratulate him.
Akasuki couldn't help but sweatdrop when Tamaki immediately hid behind the safety of the wall beside his seat.
"Yo, Class Rep," Matsushita called out while raising her hand lazily, nevertheless caught the attention of the redhead as she placed her bag beside her seat.
"I heard from someone in 3-B that another dropped out again", she announces, gaining the attention of the class, "It seems you'll have another meeting with Yamada-sensei later."
The redhead frowned at the news, "And here I thought today couldn't get any worse," she sighed before sending the fog user a grateful smile, "Thanks for the heads up, Sushi-chan."
Matsushita responded with a lazy grin.
Being in the hero course can be compared to being in medical school- somewhat.
Honestly, the hero course can compare it to any brainy school- the type of school where student numbers kept decreasing as time passed.
During their first year, there are a total of 20 students in their class. In their second year, the number of students decreased slightly and left them with 15 students. Now, in their third year, Class 3-A got a total of 13 students.
On the one hand, their numbers are still in two digits, so that's a relief. On the other hand, 11 students dropped out of their class, and four from different departments transferred to their class.
Reality couldn't get any more real at this point.
"It's not like we can blame them," a solemn smile appeared on Yuyu's face, "We expect it to be hard, but it's completely different when you're experiencing it face to face."
The rest of the class nod and let out murmurs of agreement.
"Not to mention how damn expensive Yuuei is!" one of their classmates exclaims with a sigh, "The student allowance is good, but it still lacks when you have a big family, you know!"
"Don't forget our working hours," another shot off in the sidelines, "Forget worrying about ending up a forever sidekick; how the hell am I suppose to do my homework while fighting villains?!"
Mitsui sent her male classmate a disapproving look, "Language," she chastised, earning a sheepish look from the male, "And there's something called 'Time Management,' I recommend you to look that up."
In unison, everyone in the class let out a chorus of laughter at their male classmate, who flushed at the unexpected roast from the brunette.
'Note to self,' Akasuki glance at the marionette user discreetly, 'Try to make Sui-chan read more about roasting people- that's something worthwhile.'
"Way to go, Mitsui-chan!"
"Be sure to look that up later, dude!"
"Ohhh~ how was that, Okane-kun?", Nejire pressed her hand on her mouth, suppressing her giggles, which failed along with the tremble of her shoulders, "I can't believe it! Sui-chan, you gotta teach me all the stuff and-!"
The redhead deadpanned as the vibrating periwinkle-haired girl dash off where the marionette user was seated.
"Oh right, that reminds me," Matsushita drawls while raising her right hand, catching the redhead's attention once more, "I need another of those change agency requests sheet," she let out a tsk.
"The fucking agency I'm in is full of misogynists [1]."
Everyone who heard her was startled and concerned and looked towards the fog user.
"But isn't the population of your agency half women?" Yuyu asked with a frown as she looked at her friend in concern.
Matsushita let out a snort, "They're all full of bullshit," she retorted, "They kept on blaming me all the shit and how I'm supposed to be all dolled up!", she slammed her hand on her desk loudly, startling some of their classmates.
"So I told them, "How about I shove some fucking fog on your throat, and if you survive, I'll think about it, huh?!"
Akasuki gape at the fog user as the rest of the class gasps loudly. "Go Matsushita-chan!", Nejire cheered, standing beside Mitsui, earning a look of disbelief from her redhead best friend, "Show those meanies whose the real boss!"
"I... that must be so scary", Tamaki shudder at the thought, tucking his legs further as he tucks himself on the furthest corner in the classroom, his head pressed against the wall.
"To think those kinds of people manage to be heroes," his eyes darkened, images of Akasuki and Nejire popping in his mind, "... I'll just have to remember to tell this to Mirio later... and maybe Fatgum too"
The redhead pinched the bridge of her nose while the rest of the class followed suit, mixed between cheering Matshushita and scolding her behavior.
"I'll... get you those forms later", Akasuki said as she sighed in defeat, the class letting out sounds of triumph, "And, yes, I'll leave some for the rest of the class," she ended as she glanced at her classmates with an exasperated look.
"... I wonder if it's still possible to quit being Class Rep."
Nevertheless, the redhead earnestly listened to her classmates' concerns and wrote them down on a piece of paper. She mentally notes to herself to tell this to Yamada-sensei during their meeting.
Akasuki smile as she grabs the food tray- a bowl of ramen, chopsticks, and a glassful of water on top.
"Thank you," she thanked the cook hero with a slight bow earning a warm smile and wave from the pro-hero.
With her lunch secured, she heads off where her friends are seated. The meeting with Yamada-sensei got delayed a few minutes due to her classmates' additional concerns and reports earlier.
She'll be honest and say she'd like to have a fictional world relocation. One ticket to the Marvel world, please.
A dose of Captain America should cheer her up just fine.
"Looking great today, Akachan!", Mirio greeted the redhead cheerfully as soon as she got closer, "I heard from Nejire-chan what happened today, so here!"
The blonde teen held out a medium-sized cup of chocolate ice cream, "I bought it just for you!" he beamed, looking at the redhead with sparkling eyes matched with the bright background surround the blonde teen.
... okay, scratch that. Akasuki decided she was content with where she was at the moment.
"Thanks a lot!", Akasuki beamed as she grabbed the ice cream from the blonde teen while sending him a grin before taking a seat beside her periwinkle-haired best friend, who energetically waved her phone at the redhead.
Tamaki, sitting on Mirio's left side, glances at the redhead looking up from his food, "Is everything alright, Akachan?" he asked before taking a spoonful of rice, "... I saw Mitsui carrying a tall stack of paper earlier."
Akasuki hums, indicating she heard him, her gaze set on the video playing on Nejire's phone, "It's just paperwork about our class' requests, it's no biggie- whoa!"
Her eyes widened in surprise as the pageant contestant on the video used her quirk to make flowers appear out of nowhere, covering the whole stage.
"That's so cool!" the redhead gape as her eyes shine in awe, "Is it illusions? It looks so real, though! Oh, but isn't that illegal-?"
"-it's legal!", Nejire cut her off, her eyes shining as bright as the redhead's, "The organizers managed to get a temporary permit or something! I didn't listen to it and just skipped to the cool part!"
"I didn't know pageants could do that," Akasuki said in awe, the video uploaded on Yap! Tube is still playing on Nejire's phone, engross at the contestants' talent portion.
Tamaki glances disinterestedly at the scene of his two female friends gushing over a beauty pageant before focusing back on his food.
"... I don't know why you guys are interested in those", his head hangs lower, his bangs covering his eyes, his grip on his spoon tightened, "Just thinking... of performing on a crowd makes me-!"
Mirio lightheartedly pats the indigo-haired teen's back with his usual grin present, "There, there," he chirped, "Since Nejire-chan lost last year's beauty pageant, we'll do our best to help her win this year!" he beamed.
"Or else we'll be such tiarable friends, get it?!"
Tamaki simply glances at his best friend with an unamused look earning a sheepish smile from the blonde teen.
"Ah... still a no, then?"
Mirio's disheartened expression change quickly as he perks up, "Oh! How about-!", sadly, the blonde teen is interrupted by an alarm.
"There has been a Level 3 security breach.", the four teens' eyes widen at the announcement, "All students, please evacuate outdoors promptly. I repeat-"
"A Level 3 security breach means someone is trespassing in the school grounds", Akasuki informed her group stiffly as she stood up, glancing around as she tried to locate her little brothers among the panicking students around them.
Mirio stood up, his shoulder tense, as he glanced around the cafeteria, "To think someone managed to trespassed Yuuei," his eyes narrow, his aura and posture completely different from minutes earlier.
"The only possibility of it is a villain."
Nejire, now standing too, looked around in a carefree manner, "Then we should probably evacuate too!" she chimed in, albeit a bit too cheerfully. She glances around in her seemingly usual bubbly personality.
However, if you look closer, Nejire's posture is more stiff and tense than minutes before, and she looks at her surroundings more cautiously as she steps closer to her redhead friend while trying to keep up her carefree and upbeat personality.
With three years of experience under their belt, it is only natural for the four teens to act this way amid an emergency.
Ah, correction- four teens minus one.
"No!" Tamaki stubbornly hugs the table leg nearest to him as he hides under the table, his eyes closed as he tightens his grip on the table leg when Nejire tries to pull him, "N-No! I don't want to! I-I-! Can't you see I'm going to die if I go there?!"
"That's not true!", Nejire argues with a huff as she tries, and fails, to pull the indigo-haired boy from his hiding spot, "Besides, we're training to kick bad guys' butt! Today's the time to have the heart of a lion, Tamaki-kun!"
"Ah, I don't think it's a good idea to evacuate now," Akasuki stares at the panicking crowd, students pushing other students, mentally regretting not grabbing one of her PK drones.
"Tamakun would have a panic attack there."
Mirio, now standing beside the redhead, hums as he stares at the crowd of students, "Ne, what do you think a group of students is called, Akachan?" he asked, turning to face the redhead who replicates the gesture.
Akasuki raised an eyebrow, "... What?" she answered warily, making the blonde teen glow brightly.
"A migraine!"
The redhead teen couldn't help but snort, and a pleased grin appeared on the blonde teen's face. She entirely agrees with that statement.
Students can be horrible no matter the universe.
"Oh well, we just have to make do, I suppose," the redhead said casually as she bent down on her knees before crawling under the table, earning surprised looks from her friends.
Akasuki sat down beside the indigo-haired teen, wiggling a few moments as she tried to make herself comfortable, hugging her knees to her chest as she sent Tamaki a smile.
"It's much safer here, yeah?" the redhead's smile turns into a closed-eye smile, "It's much more fun hiding with us around, don't you think?"
Tamaki's eyes widened slightly, tuning out Nejire's squeal as she and Mirio followed the redhead's actions- crawling under the table to hide together.
His lips parted slightly as he watched his friends joke around beside him, all of them hiding under the table as the alarms continued. The familiar warmth flashed through him when Mirio wrapped an arm around his shoulders while laughing brightly.
'If Mirio's the sun,' a slight content smile appeared on the indigo-haired male's face as he lowered his head down to hide his flushed cheeks, 'then Akachan is the moon.'
The four friends stayed in their hiding place until the whole situation settled in, completely missing Iida's canon moment.
They were the last ones to exit the cafeteria after the student body calmed down. Naturally, this earned a long round of scolding from their teachers.
Despite this, the four teens didn't felt a feeling of regret.

Just for a fun fact, yes women can be a misogynist too. It is a common trait for men, but some women can gain it depending on various variables like their environment. You can search it on google if you're interested.
AUTHOR'S REPLIES TO REVIEWS:
ShugoYuuki123. I'll be honest and say I'm the "go with the flow" writer. Sometimes what I planned initially doesn't get published since a new idea or scene appeared. Although, I do initially plan to diverge from the canon in the latter parts.
softsoundjameson. Oh, sorry about that, I'll be mindful. Although I'm sorry if it's still the same :')
