It's the day of the first scans for the parents-to-be, as they all come to terms with the inevitable. Although they tried to keep it confidential, in Storybrooke that's rather difficult. When Snow finds out, as so often, she leaps to completely the wrong conclusion. Also, Henry needs to be told.

Storybrooke Sheriff's Office

"Ah, Deputy Swan-Mills? How nice of you to join us!" Mulan had a sarcastic edge to her voice, as Emma bundled into the office, looking flushed. "I thought you were due here over an hour ago? Hank said you'd be here around eight."

"I'm really sorry Mulan," Emma puffed, out of breath, chucking her keys onto a desk. "Something happened at home last night. I was awake till about four, and frankly, overslept." Well at least that bit was true. "I'll make it up to you, I promise."

"No need," Mulan got up stood, moving over to the percolator to pour her a coffee. "Here. Looks like you need it more than me? Strictly speaking, I'm not supposed to be drinking coffee right now."

"Thanks." She took the steaming mug in her hands, but the smell definitely put her off drinking it. "I hope I haven't screwed up your morning?"

"Not really. I just rang Philip and told him I'd be late home." She looked down and gently massaged her stomach. "I'm looking forward to giving up the night shift. I may be only eighteen weeks pregnant, but I'm starting to feel it already. This little one's making me hungry, and I swear it's started kicking me, even though Rory says it's too soon. She wants me to stop working already, but I need to do something to keep me busy."

Emma looked over the pregnant woman, thinking of the child in her own womb right now, knowing she couldn't say anything just yet. "But you're still happy about it, right? Being pregnant, I mean?"

"Yes, of course!" She looked at her as though she was mad. "I've got a gorgeous wife, a handsome husband, and soon, a brother or sister for Pip. Why wouldn't I be?"

"I didn't mean anything by it, I just meant…well, after the sort of life you've had, you might have found being at home, raising a kid, kinda, I dunno, boring for someone like you?"

"Boring? Definitely not. I spent most of my life away from home, moving from campaign to quest, in realm after realm, ever since I was exiled by the Emperor. My father was a war hero, decorated by the emperor himself! But when his son succeeded him and my father died, our home and lands were seized, and I've drifted ever since. For me, having a real home with the two people who love me almost as much as I love them, is as good as it gets! Getting to help raise young Pip and now, with this little one on the way, just makes it even better. I have my own family."

"That's nice, I get that. I was an orphan for nearly thirty years before I met my real parents. Obviously, you're happy about the baby and all, but...I just…well, I was thinking about you and Rory and Phil. Together, I mean? I kinda…sorry, I'm making a complete mess of this. I guess I just wondered how it works? The three of you?" Even as she said it, she realized it sounded crass.

Mulan's almond eyes narrowed. "I hope you're not asking me about…intimacy?"

"No! Definitely not! I'm sure everything's hunky-dory in that department! I meant…well, do you still get jealous when they're doing something together without you? Or does Phil, when you two want just girl-time? I just wondered whether there's any envy, or two going against one sometimes?" Nice going Swan. Why can't I learn to keep my trap shut?

"Sometimes. I got jealous when they went swimming the other week, and I was saddled here on duty. Rory says she sometimes feels left out when Phil and I have our weekly martial arts practise with the militia. But jealous of Rory being madly in love with him? Or him with her? Never. He's always suggesting she and I spend more time together. We have date nights, in pairs or my favourite, when we're all together. It's a bit hard for couples to understand, but it seems to work for us. I've never felt so loved."

"So you'd recommend polyamory as a lifestyle?"

"Not for most people, no. But if love is truly shared between all of you, definitely. Why? Are you thinking of signing up as a member?"

"I must admit I can see the benefits. More help with the kids, definitely. More support, more hugs." And the next Emma couldn't resist. "And a lot more fun in the bedroom?"

"Well, let's just say, everything's great…in all departments?" That smirk returned. "Though the question makes me wonder why you asked? Whether you're considering something like it for yourself? Perhaps you already have a third in mind?"

"What? No, erm...no of course not." She tried to avoid blushing, looking away. "Well, I've messed up your morning enough. Time you were going, I guess? Thanks for holding the fort."

That afternoon...

"Then she started asking me about the three of us. Like whether we get jealous or anything." Mulan lay back on the sofa while Phillip massaged her feet, currently resting on his lap. He had large, soft hands and seemed to have acquired a knack for shoulder and foot massages, something his wives always appreciated.

"That's a coincidence," Aurora appeared, carrying a tray of drinks, resting them on the table. "Regina was asking me something similar yesterday. She asked about Pip and how he'd like being a big brother. Then she said, 'It must be lovely having a husband and a wife to support you." She sounded to me a little...jealous?"

"Can't say I blame her," chipped in the warrior, groaning with pleasure as Phillip's skilled fingers did their work, rasping between her toes. "I can thoroughly recommend having a husband with…ooh that's good…warm hands. And a stunningly beautiful wife, of course!"

"I agree. Where can I get myself a nice husband?" Philip joked. "Having two wives is tiring me out already. Maybe I need someone to share the load?" He lifted a foot, giving it a peck with his lips.

"Oh, you poor old man! Most guys would give their right arm to have two gorgeous wives in their bed every night!" The auburn beauty slumped down next to his other side, kissing his cheek. "Of course, if we're too much for you, perhaps we should just entertain each other in future, eh Ping?"

"Absolutely. In fact, as we've got a good few hours before I go pick up Pip. Perhaps my wife and I should leave our poor, tired old husband to rest? While we go and, er, rest?" She sat up, leaning across Phillip, to capture Aurora's lips with hers, directly in front of him. A sight that even now always made him harden.

The two women stood up to hug, as they kissed. They knew perfectly well the sight always had on Phillip, now getting up with a resigned, but happy grin. And feelings down below!

"You two will be the death of me. Just as well I can't think of a better way to go?"

Storybrooke Hospital

Another month passed after Robin and Roland returned from England. Not much changed, though Robin's sister firmly ingrained herself into Sherwood and Storybrooke, overjoyed to be back with her brother and favourite cousin. Maria had also made friends with Anna Sage, and the trio of women seemed to get on with everyone in town. Maria's experience as a qualified vet also extended to horses, which brought her closer to dealing with David Nolan at the new stables.

While Regina was delighted Robin was now reunited with his sister, Maria's friendship with her assigned doctor worried her. Though Anna was bound by medical confidentiality, she worried that news of her and Emma's pregnancies would somehow leak. Added to which, Regina's belly was just starting to show the first signs of impending motherhood. Emma's was still relatively flat.

Over the last month, the married couple's relationship with Robin had also changed; becoming closer. Since the second time the trio had slept together, it happened twice more. The third time had been spontaneous, while the last time, one week ago, had even been planned. The women had never really spoken further about it, and Emma had hinted that she enjoyed taking advantage of Regina's overwhelming pull towards the former outlaw, describing him as a 'friend with benefits' for them both.

Now Regina was pacing the scanner room, to the increasing irritation of Emma, who sat back on the lounger, waiting for Merlin.

"For heaven's sake, Regina, sit!"

"I can't! I'm starting to show already, and I'm worried that this'll leak out too soon. We haven't even told Henry! What's he going to think? Then when he finds out you're pregnant as well, he's going to be annoyed we didn't tell him. And what about Roland? And what if your mother finds out? She knows everybody. She'll blab, and it'll go around the town in minutes!"

"Stop fretting, and come sit down. We've already talked about this. Let's just make sure everything's okay with the babies first, then we'll talk to Henry! Calm down, and get over here?" She reached up to take her hand, pulling her gently onto the lounger beside her. "Robin said he'll be here shortly."

"And what if he's seen walking into an ultrasound room? How's that going to look?"

"Will you just stop? Listen, I-" But Emma herself stopped the moment the door opened. Merlin walked in with his usual confident demeanour, accompanied by a tall, well-built younger male doctor, and Clarissa, Merlin's assistant.

"Emma, Regina, lovely to see you both! This is Doctor Burtonshaw, one of my colleagues from New York. David, this is Emma and Regina Swan-Mills, one of our most illustrious couples. Clarissa, could you hold all calls until after I've seen these patients? We don't wish to be disturbed either."

"Of course, Professor, I'll see to it." The prim young woman turned, leaving the room and shutting the door behind her.

Annoyed, Regina was already on her feet. "Merlin, I told you we wanted this kept confidential! Yet here you are, bringing someone else in? I'm sorry, no offence Doctor, but we really only wanted to deal with the Professor on his own! So…if you'll just excuse us?"

Burtonshaw turned to face her, and that's when she noticed something odd. He looked to be in his early thirties, fresh-faced and with a wholesome glow. But something familiar about those eyes?

"Well Mrs. Swan-Mills, I guess it's just as well I'm no ordinary doctor?" With that, a small swirl of blue light emanated from the man. His face and body instantly transforming, from the medic's and into the warm smiling features of someone they knew only too well!

"Robin, what the hell?" Emma was as surprised as her wife. "Why?"

"Gina was worried sick about people asking questions if I just showed up?" Robin shrugged. "And you did invite me!"

"The temporary disguise was my idea," Merlin chuckled. "Pretty convincing, eh? Anyway, let's get on it, shall we? Who wants to go first?"

Regina popped onto the couch, before lifting her dress to expose her tummy. Pushing the top of the underwear down an inch to avoid mess, Merlin swiftly smeared the scanner with cold gel, and she hissed as the inevitable cold transducer touched her skin. After a few seconds images started to form on the small screen as noises filled the room, all watching and listening closely.

Noticing a change in Merlin's calm expression, which now became a frown as the smile left him, worried Regina.

"What's wrong? What have you seen?"

"What? Oh, nothing, nothing yet. I'm just concentrating. Just…give me a moment?"

He moved the sensor across her small bulge, while clicking switches on the device. As more focused images now started to appear, a heartbeat suddenly announced itself. A rapid swish-swishing noise accompanied by a sound like a horse galloping in the distance. "There you are!" He clicked a button, freezing the image, before pointing it out to his audience. "There's your baby! Here's the head, with the brain, the darker mass here, inside. I'm just checking the rest of the organs, but everything looks fine so far. For twelve to thirteen weeks, that's a nice strong heartbeat, Regina! About six centimetres; all looking good in there so far."

She held back a tear, as she studied the image. Her baby. She looked at Emma and Robin, now standing close, both sporting silly grins.

Merlin printed off three copies of each of the two saved images, handing them to Robin. After wiping off the gel and straightening her clothes, Regina stepped off the little cot, Emma taking her place. Once again, gel and sensor were applied. Again, it took a little while for Merlin to locate the lemon-sized foetus, lying on its front with its back to the scanner. "Come on little fella, let's take a look at you? No need to be shy." As the Sorcerer maneuvered the scanner into position, they could see a hunched and very still figure, a top of a head. But no movement, and no galloping heartbeat!

Emma squeezed Regina's hand. Tight. "Where's the heartbeat? Merlin, I can't hear a heartbeat! Just that weird noise? What's going on? Is it-"

"Calm Emma, calm. That's just the sound of blood going through your placenta. Give me a moment?" He moved the scanner into a new position, flicking two more switches on the machine and turning a dial. Finally, although it took less than ten seconds, which felt to Emma like hours, the sound of another soft, quickly galloping heartbeat came through. "There you go! One baby!"

The expectant parents exhaled loudly, all having held their breath. "Thank god!" Robin was relieved. The two-inch long foetus slowly lifted its head, annoyed at having its peace disturbed, turning and now appearing to stare straight at them, even though its eyes had yet to form.

Regina gasped. "Hell there, beautiful! Mummies and daddy are really looking forward to meeting you!"

"Congratulations to you as well, Emma. All seems to be well with your baby, too." Merlin removed the scanner and started printing more pictures.

"Our baby, not mine." She smiled up at an emotional Robin, to take his hand. "They have three parents. Nobody's getting left out. But I guess you knew that, didn't you?"

He smiled back, tapping the side of his nose but not answering, while Merlin turned off the scanner "And this one will also have magic, just like its brother or sister."

Emma was more startled by that, than the image! Why would it have magic? Mum and dad are true loves, so are Regina and Robin. He told me Neal was mine, and that's why Henry has it. But me and Robin? "You're sure about that?"

"Certain! I sense its magic already trying to reach out. It's entirely hidden of course, and the baby will be completely unaware, perhaps for many years, like Henry and yourself. But it's within him, or her. The magic senses another like it in the room, so it's also trying to link with yours, Regina. I can also detect Robin's signature in both. Congratulations dad, it's looks like you're on the way to another pair of fine, healthy children!"

Emma felt a large warm hand tighten around hers, looking up to find him misty-eyed. "Thank you, Emma, for this." He almost croaked the words out. "And you, Regina. Words fail me." He bent down, kissing the blonde's cheek.

Merlin switched off the machine. "Well, I'm done, so I'll leave you to it. Ladies, I'll need to start putting your information on the patient record, for safety's sake. Would you still prefer pseudonyms at this stage?" Both women nodded. "Okay, we'll change it to your own names when you decide to go public."

"Well it'll have to be soon, I'm starting to show!" Regina groaned. "I won't be able to hide it much longer. So, I guess we need to tell Henry first, then Honour & Roland?"

"Henry's going to be tricky!" Emma warned. "Once we tell him we're both expecting, the first thing he'll ask is who the fathers are. Awkward?"

"Miladies, would it help you if you implied I was merely the donor? That you were hoping to have more, and I merely...assisted?"

"He'd see straight through that! He knows Gina and I never had plans for more."

As they contemplated the next steps, a soft knock on the door was immediately followed by Merlin returning. "I just thought I'd let you know that Snow appears to be in the waiting room outside? I gather from the nurse she's here for your brother downstairs, Emma. Although when she saw you coming up here, she asked after you. I could apparate you back home if you prefer?"

"Crap! If she finds out, everyone in the whole bloody town will know before we even tell Henry! Robin, could you-" She turned to find that the man in question had already been replaced by Doctor Burtonshaw.

"Mrs. and Mrs. Swan-Mills, it's been a pleasure meeting you! I look forward to the next time."

Regina smirked at the impromptu disguise. "Thank you, Doctor. So do we!"

~oOo~

Snow had been in the hospital a good hour, waiting for Neal's arm to be seen for a suspected broken wrist, caused by horse play with his friends. Caroline Locksley had been called to assist and, after diagnosing it was merely a bad sprain, had set about binding the wrist. As she did so, Snow had spotted her daughter and daughter-in-law walk into the reception area before heading up to the first floor. Determined to find out what was going on, the former princess called David to take their son home. David looked confused until Snow told him she needed to wait behind to see a doctor herself.

As father and son left, she bundled across to reception, to ask which room Emma had gone in to.

"Mrs Nolan, you know full well I can't disclose patient information."

"Oh, come on Agatha, it's me! Snow! It's my daughter, after all. We're friends, aren't we?

"You'll have me fired!" Agatha whispered back. "I definitely did NOT tell you that they went up to room eleven on the first floor!"

Snow took the hint, winked at her friend, and took the lift.

She spotted the closed door to room eleven, situated in a small, secluded area with waiting seats outside. The sign above the little nurse's desk read 'Obstetrics and Gynaecology'? Was one of them having a problem? Her curiosity aroused, she sat waiting till they came out. Then, after a few minutes, she saw Merlin appear, glance briefly in her direction, before knocking and stepping back into the room. A minute later, a handsome young man in a white coat, a doctor she didn't recognize, stepped out, followed by Regina and finally, her daughter.

"Mum? What are you doing here?" Emma did her best to feign surprise.

"Neal took a tumble. We thought he might have broken his wrist."

"Ouch!" Regina, always having had a soft spot for Emma's little brother, winced. "That's awful. Is he all right?"

"He's okay. It's just badly sprained. Robin's sister bandaged him up, and he's wearing a sling. David's waiting outside to take him home."

"So why aren't you with them?"

"Because I happened to see my other child come into the hospital, while I was with him?"

Emma rolled her eyes. "I'm not a child, mum."

"How many more times?" The former princess sighed. "Emma, you'll always be my baby, no matter how old you are. I saw you come in here, and I was worried! Are you okay?"

She hated lying, especially to her parents and especially after she had, years earlier, lectured them a number of times about telling the truth. "I'm fine. It was just something routine."

Snow studied her, disbelieving and just about to probe further, when a voice beside her interrupted:

"It was a pleasure meeting you today, Mrs. Swan-Mills," said a handsome young man in a white coat, and an English accent. "I wish other women were as diligent in their check-ups!"

"And who are you?" Snow asked abruptly, irritated at the distraction.

"Doctor Burtonshaw. one of Professor Sage's assistants? Wait...you're Mrs. Swan-Mills mother? So you must be the famous Snow White?" He offered his hand. "I'm delighted to meet you! I guess you're also here to sign up for our new Pap smear test drive? We're offering them next week, free to those without any insurance. I'm sure as a leading member of the community, you'll be encouraging your friends and others to come along? Early cervical cancer detection can save so many lives, wouldn't you agree?"

They watched Snow's face turn bright pink, before the blonde arched a brow at her wife, silently asking, "What the fuck is he doing?" However, seeing the rapidly rising crimson on her mother's cheeks, she almost felt like she was going to burst out laughing.

"Well I wasn't here for, er, why yes, of course I'll sign up! Good idea. Well, I'll just be heading off. Girls, I'll see you later?" She turned, trying not to look at the doctor, heading straight back to the elevator.

Regina was the first to speak after the doors closed, and she was safely out of earshot. "And what the hell were you doing just then, Doctor 'Burtonshaw'?"

"Embarrassing your mother-in-law. Thought it might be a distraction. It worked, didn't it?"

"Smear tests?" The women started chuckling, Emma the loudest. "Really?"

"What? It's true! They are running them! Carrie told me. I was going to tell her about the two-for-one, bring a friend offer too. Sort of a 'cheese and smear-test' party? But she might think I was taking the piss? Which is also very poignant, as urine samples are also part of the health check."

"Oh, do shut up, thief!" Regina managed, between chuckles. When all three stopped, Emma looked up at him. "Being clean-shaven kinda suits you? As does twenty-years off your face. And body."

"Twenty years? Bloody cheek! Ten, max! No need to be rude!"

~oOo~

Ten minutes later, Snow returned to the SUV in the car park, where a very bored Neal Nolan sat in the back waiting impatiently, while David looked at messages on his phone.

"You took your time?"

"Sorry, David. I saw Emma go in, and I had to sign up for a health check. Nothing special."

As she climbed in the passenger seat, once they were about to pull away, she spotted Emma and Regina come out of the entrance, heading for their car, Emma taking the keys for the driver's side.

Something seemed odd. "David, just hold on a minute?"

That's when she spotted it. Regina had taken her coat off, laying it on the back seat. As she opened the front passenger door, she saw the brunette straighten before getting in leaning back to stretch and seeming to groan. Her normally perfect flat stomach now showed a definite bulge!

"Oh my god!" She breathed. "She's pregnant!"

"What?" David jerked up from the screen. "Who's pregnant?"

"Oh…nothing. Let's drive? I just need to make a quick call..." With that, she pulled out her cellphone, tapping in a number.

"Caroline? Hi, it's Snow again! Thanks…thank you for patching up Neal a little while ago. I'm calling because, silly me, I think I left my glasses behind? I was last on the first floor, Room 11, I think."

At the other end of the line, Carrie Locksley sniggered. "Ha! Don't think they'll be in there, Mrs. Nolan! That's the scanning room for pre-natal. Not unless you also came in for an ultrasound scan while you were at it? You were on the ground floor, room 15, I think. I'll go check for you and call you back if we find anything?"

"Of course, sorry. If you could check for me that would be great. Thank you, Caroline." She ended the call as a suspicious looking David eyed her.

"What are you up to, Snow? You never take your glasses out the house."

She looked to check Neal wasn't listening. He appeared to have fallen asleep in the back, but just in case, she whispered, "I think Regina's pregnant!"

His jaw dropped. "You're kidding me? How? Obviously, I know how, but…who?"

"Could be a donor. I think Ruby and Dorothy are trying for one that way. Or even a magical pregnancy? After all, they're both powerful sorceresses. And I have heard something about that happening before."

"I wouldn't think so, Snow! Even with magic, I don't think two women can actually create a life on their own? We need to speak to someone. Merlin and his daughter would be involved if Regina is having treatment there. Gold hates them right now, so he wouldn't be much help."

"Blue! Yes, she'll know! She told me I was expecting Emma before I even knew myself. She'll tell me."

Granny's

After appraising Reul Ghorm of the situation, Snow made a hasty plan and now sat in the Diner, waiting for Regina to come join her for coffee, having messaged her to stay she needed to talk, but didn't specify about what.

Finally, the woman herself walked in, having just collected Roland and Honour from school.

"Hello, Regina. Hi Honny, Roland!"

"Hi Grandma!" said the young girl, as her brother ran down the back having seen a friend to play with. "Mamma, can I have a cup of tea, please?"

"Yes, my darling, you may. No sugar, remember? Ruby, could I order two cups of tea please, one for Honour in a child cup? Roland will just have water, if he ever comes back."

The passing café owner seemed rushed off her feet. "Sure. Gimme a minute? I'm a little short staffed today. Dot's taking a nap."

"Is she okay? Something wrong?"

"Just a little under the weather, Snow. Nothing to worry about."

Two minutes later, two cups of tea were delivered and Regina sat down to drink.

"Tea, Regina? I thought strong black coffee was your staple?" And not recommended for pregnant women, either!

"Hmm? Well I thought I could do with a change, and tea's more relaxing. Anyway, I'm sure you didn't ask me over to talk about my drinking habits?"

"Oh right. Yes, well, I was going to ask you if I could borrow Honour and Roland next weekend? David's organizing a nature trail for some of the children by the lakes. They're planning to stay out the night and come back Sunday lunchtime. Hank Morgan and Phillip Briar were going to accompany them, so everyone's safe. There'll be a barbecue, some games in the woods. Even some of the Merry Men will be there."

"Why do you need them? Sounds like you have your hands full, as it is."

"Well, Roland's probably the most popular boy in school. We have a lot of boys going but few girls. If he comes, I'm sure a lot more of them will want to? It'll be fun and Honour would love it. David's arranging horse riding too."

"Riding? Mummy, can I go please? I'd like going riding with grandpa!"

"Okay, my sweet, I'll ask Roland if he wants to join you. He seems to say yes to anything in the forest, these days. He's Robin's son, after all."

Snow's smile dimmed a fraction at his mention, but just enough to be picked up by the other woman. "Quite."

"Well, as I'm sure Sheriff Morgan and Mayor Briar will also look after them, I'll say yes in principle, if Robin agrees." Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Reul Ghorm, the irritating Blue Fairy, who appeared to be staring at her. How long had she been there? Why's she looking at me like that?

"Something wrong, Blue?" Regina rasped.

"Oh, nothing. Sorry, my mind was miles away! If you'll excuse me?" With that, the imperious fairy stood, moving away towards the counter. After a couple of silent minutes, Regina stood up as the drinks arrived. "Honour, let's take these out the back to your brother? We appear to have lost him, yet again. Goodbye Snow. We'll set up everything for the children to be dropped off once I've spoken to Emma and Robin." She nodded politely, then made her way out to the back, to the small garden.

~oOo~

As the door closed behind her, Blue appeared at Snow's table, sitting down next to her to talk.

"Well?" Snow asked, not wanting to beat about the bush. "Is she or isn't she?"

"The Queen is most definitely with child! I sense it quite clearly."

It was still a surprise, even though Snow half-expected it. "Emma seems to know about it, though she hasn't said anything to me. She made something up when I saw them. Is it 'magical'?"

Blue's brow raised. "Well it certainly has magic, if that's what you mean? Even though it's early, I can still detect a slight aura."

"Well, having two powerful sorceresses for its mothers, I guess it's bound to have magic."

Blue looked puzzled. "You think Emma's the other biological parent to this child?"

"Well it makes sense! Their magic's combined so often. I've heard it's possible."

"Old wives tales, I assure you Snow! It isn't. It still needs a male donor or participant. This one has, I can tell by his own magical signature…" As the words left her mouth, Blue instantly regretted them, knowing where this was likely to lead.

"What, you KNOW who the father is?" Snow's voice changed from wistful to irritable in a matter of moments. "You know who's got my daughter-in-law pregnant?"

"Well…I don't think I should say any more than that. It's for Emma to tell you, if she chooses."

"TELL ME!" Snow almost growled the words out. "Wait? 'His own magical signature' you said? So that limits it to Merlin, Gold, Jefferson, or…or…" that's when Snow realized who the culprit was. The bastard who'd cuckolded her daughter! The man who swore he wouldn't do anything to harm Emma's marriage!

"I'm going to bloody well kill him!"

Snow picked up her bag, storming out the café, loudly slamming the door behind her, before Ruby could even give her the bill.

~oOo~

After she'd left the diner, furious, Snow went home and immediately told David what she'd learnt.

Now it was his turn to get mad. "Robin Hood's slept with Regina? You don't need to hit him Snow, because I'm going to beat the living shit out of him!"

~oOo~

After phoning into the Sheriff's Office, David discovered Emma had driven across to Sherwood, to the Earl of Locksley, to drop Honour off with her father after school, so she could play with her friend Alex. He asked whether anyone else had seen Robin, and was told by Hank Morgan that the former outlaw was meeting the Mayor there, too.

"Perfect! I'll throttle him in front of his bloody friends, if I have too..." He growled, incandescent with rage as he thought of the indignity to his daughter. As Neal had gone to a friend's house, Snow joined him for the short drive.

Meanwhile...

In the Earl of Locksley, Robin sat opposite his daughter, who was propped up on the table, showing her how to move a silver coin across her knuckles, into her palm and up again to repeat it.

"Still can't do it, daddy!" Regina sat beside him, chuckling as she kept dropping the coin into his waiting hands.

"You'll get there in time, my lovely." said John, who sat watching. "Yer pa can only do that on account of all the locks, chains and safes he's had to pick!"

"Ignore John, my love. And don't worry, it'll be easier to learn when your hands get bigger."

Emma was standing at the bar ordering their teas and coffees, watching father and daughter play, with a small smirk on her face, imagining how much fun they were all going to have with their next little boy or girl currently growing inside her. Honour and the little group were so absorbed, they didn't notice Snow and David enter until Snow, ignoring the rest of them, marched up to Robin and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Robin looked up to find Snow standing above him, an angry look in her eye. He stood, to ask what was wrong when suddenly, and without warning, Snow swung her hand around fast, to deliver a searingly-hard slap, right across the archer's cheek!

"SHE'S EMMA'S WIFE!"

Robin was stunned. He'd never expected it, though the shock was far worse than the slap itself, as the furious princess continued to rage at him. "You promised! You promised me!" And with that she spun her arm to deliver a second blow, but as Robin now saw this one coming, he merely froze the limb in an instant, leaving Snow's arm stuck in mid-air. But he also couldn't help noticing that this time, her hand was clenched into a tight fist!

David, seeing Snow frozen, came from behind her in an attempt to deliver a punch straight to the archer's nose. However, as he launched his own clenched fist, he felt something collide with it, smothering it. He looked up to see that Little John's giant hand had wrapped itself around it, the bear of a man pulling close.

"Beggin' your pardon prince, but you ain't gonna hit my friend! Use that fist on 'im and I'll put ye in hospital!" Then seeing Charming's left hand tentatively reach down to where a short sword lay by his side, he growled, speaking slowly, but with a menace few had ever witnessed. "And use that, and I'll put ya in the fuckin' morgue! Are we clear? Prince?" David felt the crushing pressure of the man's hand on his fist.

The entire incident happened in a matter of seconds but Regina now stood feet away from Snow, horrified. "HOW DARE YOU?"

"HOW DARE I? HOW DARE YOU, REGINA?" Snow, now able to use her mouth, screamed back at her daughter-in-law. "You slept with him, and you're pregnant by him! Deny it?" She spat, desperately trying to move her body, but Robin still held her in a ridiculously tight magical grip. "Let me go Locksley, you bastard! Now!"

Having just realised what he'd done, Robin instantly released her. Snow stood straight, turning to Regina. "How could you do that to my Emma? You betrayed her! You betrayed us!"

"SHE DID NOTHING OF THE SORT!" It was Emma's turn to yell as she joined her wife, having also witnessed the slap. "'You know nothing, mum! Just leave."

"She's pregnant, Emma! She pregnant with HIS child!" she pointed a finger at Robin.

"I know. But she hasn't cheated on me. Dad, take her away?"

"Emma," it was David's turn to try. "He got her pregnant! How is that betraying you?"

"Because I'm pregnant by him too!" She yelled back. 'We were together, all three of us, okay? Now get out, both of you. Get out, or I'll poof you home myself!"

The words took a moment to sink in, Snow gasping. "You're pregnant?"

"Yeah," she moved over to Robin's side, touched his bright-red cheek with the back of her hand, before delivering a short burst of magic to kill the sting. "I said go! We'll talk tomorrow."

"Emma, for goodness sake! I.-" Her mother's words drowned as, twirling her fingers, Emma teleported both parents back to their farmhouse. But then, within moments, a wave of dizziness overcame her, causing her legs to suddenly buckle, and she fell to the floor.

"Emma?" Robin, seeing her almost pass out, turned fast to pull an arm under her, protecting her head from hitting the ground.

"Ooh god, I don't feel so good!"

"Just rest. Merlin told you not to use magic in your condition, for good reason, it seems?"

The silence in the bar was eventually broken by Honour. "Mummy, why did grandma Snow hit papa? Why were they shouting?"

"She was upset with me, my darling," Robin soothed her, while helping Emma into a chair "She thought I did something bad. Don't worry about it."

"But she hit you! I don't want to go riding with grandpa now, mummy."

"Of course, sweetheart, I understand." Regina took her daughter's hand, kissing it. "And we can all go riding another day. Just us. Emma and your papa ride too, you know?"

John came closer, having made sure Snow and Charming had left. "Rob, ladies, I promise I won't breathe a word about this to anyone. Not unless you say it's okay."

"So, is that right? Emma and Mum are going to have babies, and my dad's the dad?" Came another voice. Nobody had spotted Roland till now. The boy had just come out of the bathroom when the commotion had started, and he'd stood watching at the bottom of the stairs when Snow slapped Robin.

Robin silently nodded while the women just looked embarrassed. "So, Emma, it's true then? You do like dad? Like mum does?" Roland wore a cautious smile at the discovery.

Emma, still a little dizzy, looked at him, bewildered by the comment. Then she looked up at Robin, who was also giving her that bloody Locksley grin, defying her to lie. "Yeah Rolly. I happen to like your dad very much." No longer hesitant, she pulled on Robin's shirt front, making him stoop, before giving him a quick, chaste kiss on the lips, the first time she'd done it in front of anyone, other than Regina. "I guess you could say he's grown on me?"

Robin beamed back, wrapping an arm around her shoulder, waiting for Roland's reaction.

"In that case, Emma…" Roland's smile seems to mirror his father's. "Do you mind if I start calling you ma? Like Henry does?"

Emma's breath hitched, suddenly feeling emotional, as a stray tear threatened to fall. She looked over at Regina, who also seemed to be feel the moment. "No Roland, I wouldn't mind at all. In fact, I'd be very honoured if you called me 'ma'. Actually, I'd love it!"

The boy walked in front of her as she sat staring at him. "Dad, would you mind?"

"Of course not, my boy. Emma's been a wonderful mother to you both, just like Regina. It's the most important title in all the world, and you're incredibly lucky to have not just one, but two mothers who love you."

"Okay," The young man grinned, pulling Emma into the first real hug she'd ever received from him. "And you can call me Roland, Rolly, Ro, or even son, if you like? Anything but 'kid', alright?"

"Alright," Emma treasured the moment, trying her best not to sniffle." I see somebody's already been talking to Henry? I can do that Rolly. Thank you. Thank you so much!" She pulled him in a little tighter, dropping a kiss on his brow, before clutching him to her chest.

"Me too?" Honour saw the effect her brother's words had on her, climbing to the floor. "You can be my ma too, not Emma."

Regina felt almost choked at the sudden change, the love being openly declared for her wife. Their family that was now going to include Robin, their father, no matter what anyone said. She pulled herself into him, placing a warm kiss of her own on his cheek, before stepping back.

"Well, lovely family, now Snow knows, it's fair to assume this whole town will, very shortly. So, I suggest we tell Henry as soon as possible? He'll be rather upset if he's the last to know!"
