Robin convalesces in Mifflin Street and the ladies do all they can to help him relax. And an unexpected visitor comes back for the weekend...

Mifflin Street

That evening, Robin begrudgingly accepted their insistence on him only leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, and an ambulance ride back to the mansion. It was in his nature not to rely on others, but he did so reluctantly. Insisting neither Regina nor Emma use teleporting magic in their condition, once he was inside, he used his own magic to deliver him from the lounge into their spare bedroom. Another burst, and he was dressed in a loose T-shirt and boxers, and now lay between soft, brushed cotton sheets, his left leg now rebandaged until the bones and muscle beneath the repaired tissue had fully healed. Whale had told him he would be able to use crutches in a few days.

"I brought you a cup of tea?" Regina walked in carrying a tray, placing it on the bedside table. Emma followed in behind her, and the pair sat either side of his bed, careful not to disturb his leg. "Are you hungry?"

"I think I lost my appetite, but company would be nice?" Regina smiled back, before giving Emma a look, which he picked up on. "Is something wrong? Has something happened?" The brunette seemed to be trying to communicate with her wife using just her eyes. Robin was so tempted to read her thoughts but resisted, remembering Emma's previous reaction. "You clearly want to tell me something, Emma?"

"Nothing's wrong," she hesitated. "It's just, well, we were going to suggest something, before you went off on your 'Dark-Realm-boy-band tour'. But I guess it can wait."

"Clearly it can't, as it's bothering you! Why don't you just come out with it, and get it over with?"

Emma shrugged. "Okay, well it's like this. Your kids live here. And Regina and I are currently carrying the latest members of the Locksley ice-hockey team. You love her, so we kinda figured-"

"I've fallen in love with you too, Emma!" he interrupted her, "And I'm not ashamed to admit it. Sorry, if that complicates matters?" The simple, easy way he said it, threw them, and Regina stared back at her, a huge grin starting to appear.

"But you hardly know me?" She realised it was a ridiculous thing to say. He'd read her mind, probably.

" I think you'll find I do. And yes, I'm in love with you too, Emma."

"I'm glad you said it first!" She croaked, moving up the bed and taking him by surprise by forcing her lips down onto his own, pressing down and staying there a good few seconds, before coming up to breathe, eyes now glistening. "Because I've fallen in love with you too, Robin Hood, or Robin, Earl of Locksley, or Robin-whatever-the-fuck you call yourself these days?" She pushed her lips back down on his for a second, gentler attempt.

Mouths started moving together, when he suddenly drew back. "Sorry, hospital-breath! I haven't brushed my teeth or eaten, since yesterday. I must reek."

"That's not the most romantic reaction I've ever had to kissing a guy! But you're forgiven. I kissed Gina once, and she came out with "That was more than acceptable!""

All three chuckled, as Regina raised her hands, apparating a tray containing a bowl of soup and roll, plus a second, smaller bowl with toothpaste, toothbrush and a mug of water. "Well it was! Anyway, you can use this to freshen up. Eat first. And later, if you two intend making out like horny teenagers again, I want in!"

Watching them share a look, Robin surprised at just how quickly feelings between the two of them could turn to lust in a matter of moments. Even the two of them in the same room seemed to inflame his desires these days. "This may not be the size of your bed, but I would always welcome company?"

"Hey, big boy, hold it right there! You're convalescing, remember?" Regina rebuked him,. "I said make out, nothing more! At least not until you're better." She walking around to Emma's side, taking her arm. "Come on, we need to let him rest."

"Hang on a minute, I've got something that might help the boredom..."

Emma snuck out of the room, returning a minute later rolling a TV on wheels in. "You can always watch something…" She plugged it in, switched on and handed him the remote. "Now, we have to make sure your kids are settled; no peace for the wicked, eh? We'll freshen up, and one of us may pop in later. No promises."

Robin rolled his eyes in resignation, but attacked the soup and roll with gusto, like it would be his last meal.

The Earl of Locksley Inn

"So, you already knew about those two being pregnant? By Robin?"

Lavinia was disappointed her big scoop came as no surprise to John. "You knew, but you said nothing?"

"A promise is a promise, Liv, you know that. I couldn't say a word."

"I knew too," Mulan was propped up against Aurora, on a bar stool. "Emma told Hank this morning, and I overheard. He's right, they'll announce it when they're ready."

The little group huddled around the bar were some of Robin's closest confidants. They were joined by Kathryn, the former Princess Abigail, and husband Jim, formerly Prince Frederick. "I think it's lovely. Regina deserves it after everything she's been through. Emma's helped her come back from the edge, but if they can somehow both have more with Robin, well bloody good luck to them! I must admit, I'm a little envious." Then seeing a disappointed look from Jim, she added. "At least I would be, if I wasn't already married to the best-looking guy around here!"

"Nice recovery, love, but not convinced," he smirked back. "But let me ask you something. If you could have anybody else, in addition to my undevoted love of course, for the perfect three-way marriage like Mulan's got, with no repercussions …who would it be? No lies now! Be honest?"

Kathryn realized she couldn't answer that honestly, as a picture of David Nolan swam into her mind, and he was awkward history. So she opted for the next best thing. "Charlie Sage, Merlin's son!"

"Ooh yeah, good choice!" Livvy agreed. "That chest? And the body! He's a piece of art."

"Definitely - and those eyes? They drill right through you, don't they?" Aurora added, enjoying the game. "Like they're exploring your very soul!"

"His bum's nice and tight, too!" Mulan drew chuckles from the other women, who all nodded in agreement.

Will Scarlett frowned. "You know what Jim? I think you and Phil need to keep an eye on those wives of yours?"

"You may be right, old son," Philip was clearly not in the least concerned.

"Don't be daft!" Kathryn pushed back. "Don't pretend you've never fantasized about having two women in your bed, Will Scarlett. Every man here has, I bet! Apart from Phil, obviously. Deny it and I'll know you're lying! Do you seriously think it's any different for us girls? We have fantasies too, you know? The important thing is, if it's just using your imagination, it gets the motor running!" She pulled herself in closer to her Jim, so nobody saw her swipe her hand across the front of his jeans, giving him a light squeeze on route.

"Well I guess I do get to drive the motor home?"

"Yeah, mate, and let's face it, in motorin' terms, Kat's certainly yer classic model, not some clapped out old banger!" Will added, earning a guffaw from the others and an attempted clip around the ear from John.

"Thank you, William! I suppose I should be taking that as a compliment!"

John turned to look at the heavily pregnant warrior. "And it's nice to see you out of an evening too, Mu. How's everything going? What are you now, seven months?"

"Yes. But I just want it to be over now, and finally have him with us. I feel like a beached whale! I can't run any more, and even sitting behind that desk at the office is awkward. I look hideous, and Hank still hasn't found my replacement yet. And now Emma says she's also going to be leaving in a few months?"

Aurora pulled her closer, about to assure her, but John got in first. "Don't you be so bloody silly!"There's nothin' hideous about ye. You're bloomin', everyone can see that, and you're doing the most important thing any human can do, bringin' a new life into the world! So what, if you can't run? So what, if you can't sit behind a fuckin' desk? You'll be able to do all of that soon enough, if you even want to! Morgan'll find people soon enough. I heard this morning Charming's gonna step in part-time, anyway. Young Liz from the militia's offered too, so he'll do fine. Just you bloody well focus on what matters. You, your missus here, Phil, that little scamp Pip, and what yer carryin' now!"

"I agree with the big lump!" Will added, "You're doing just fine, M. Enjoy the break, cos once that little bugger gets out, you'll want all the rest you can get!"

"Thanks guys..." Aurora tightened her hold. "That's what Phil and I have been telling her these last few weeks. One day, she might believe it!" Mulan gave a rare smile, before silently turning and pressing her lips to Aurora's, earning various 'aahs' from the others.

"Hang on. The Deputy Sheriff job?" An idea popped into Will's head. "Hasn't he tried Rubes? They've both done part-time before."

"Hank's already asked Ruby, but she's going to be busy with the Diner, especially now Dot's pregnant."

"She's in the family way too? Blimey, I never saw that coming! Who's the father?"

"It'd be impolite to ask who the donor is. I gather she's about three month's gone."

"Everyone's having babies around here. Loads of playmates for your little one!" Jim nodded to the Briars. "So, are you three having a boy, girl or are you not telling? I thought you said 'he' a little earlier?"

"Figure of speech," Aurora looked adoringly at her wife. "We asked Victor not to tell us."

Back in Mifflin Street...

A little earlier, Honour had been in to lie down with Robin as he read her a story. Roland had followed for a hug of his own and a chat, and now, with both of them sound asleep in their own rooms, he was bored. Really bored. Emma had shown him how to use Netflix and he'd surfed the various offerings but wasn't in the mood. He was frustrated, and thanks to all the sleep over the last two days, wide awake and wanting desperately to get up.

"Cheer up!" Regina entered. "You'll be up and about soon enough. Anything else you need before I go to bed?"

"Your company? Emma gave me a kiss, but I'm still waiting for yours!"

"I think you're right." She grinned, stepping closer, leaning over to peck him on his lips without further ado. "Hmm, nice minty breath this time! Very good." She whispered into his mouth before continuing, Robin's hands now enveloping her cheeks and moving into her hair, making her deliver a sound that, to Robin almost sounded like purring. Was that why Mal kept calling her 'kitten'?

"Hey, you two starting without me?" Emma walked in, witnessing their caress, moving over to join her.

"No, just trying to even the balance," She turned in Emma's arms, before gifting her a full-on kiss of her own, arms wrapping around the blonde's neck to pull her closer. The women, now only wearing silk dressing gowns, stood melded into one another.

Robin had seen them like this several times now, but still marvelled at the symmetry and beauty of the two of them together. Beautiful opposites, blonde and brunette. Unfortunately, their embraces seemed to have an effect on him. And sure enough, yet again, he felt himself harden below.

"Miladies, I don't think seeing you two like this is doing my blood pressure any good? Bit frustrating, seeing as you're giving me a raging hard-on, and lying here, knowing there's very little I can do about it!"

The pair peeled apart, both looking down at him, before Emma gave him an evil grin. "Blood pressure? Tension?" she looked at Regina, now sporting a sly look of her own. "We can't have that now, can we? Perhaps what you need is a relaxing massage?" She stole a final kiss, before moving closer, either side of his bed. Holding out her hand, a small blue bottle apparated into Emma's palm. "Gina, I don't think we want oil on his clothes now, do we? Would you oblige?"

A twist of the queen's fingers and suddenly, Robin's T-shirt and boxers disappeared completely, making both women catch their breath when a now fully engorged penis promptly rose on display, no longer sheathed. "Oh my? Robin…" Regina sighed admiringly. "You really are…tense, aren't you? Let's see if we can alleviate the problem?" She opened her palms, allowing Emma to pour a small amount of the oily substance on them, then her own, before placing the little bottle down. "This is a little something Emma got from Princess Jasmine, from Agrabah. We had her briefly when you were gone. It's a soothing ointment, safe on the skin. Now close your eyes, and try to relax."

Robin tried, feeling four soft, oily hands working their way over his chest, shoulders and stomach from either side. Damn, it did feel good! The smell of frankincense and musk hung in the air. However, lying in front of two exceptionally beautiful women massaging him couldn't hide the fact he now had an erection at full mast in front of them!

"Ladies, though lovely, this really isn't fair. Far from easing tension, I think I'm going to explode!"

"Patience, Locksley. Good things come to those who wait?" Emma whispered, as her hands drifted over his navel and down to the soft downy hair below. She then stroked around his inner thighs, spreading her still oily hands and kneading the muscles gently, avoiding the bandaged lower leg before, without any warning, taking the base of his swollen organ firmly in her left hand, making him shudder. Especially when her right hand gently cupped his balls. She squeezed the shaft, slowly but firmly, before gradually sliding it up and down. Trying to contain her own excitement at the unbelievable sight of her wife's hands on him, Regina leant over to place a moist kiss on the dome as Emma held it, causing The erection to twitch violently.

"Gods! So much for easing tension!" These demons had him completely under their control!

Easing her body even closer, Regina lowered her mouth slowly over the twitching head, before sucking hard, then gradually easing the shaft into her mouth. Emma watched her slowly absorb him, before leaning in to slide her own mouth round his lower shaft, raking her teeth up and down the flesh, bringing a loud hiss.

He finally dared open his eyes, to witness a sight that would stay with him forever. Regina and Emma's upper bodies now lay across the bed either side, the brunette being careful to avoid touching his wounded leg, their heads either side of his member, dragging their teeth gently up and down both sides in unison, taking turns to suck hard on the top. "Oh my god miladies, that is toooo unbelievably good!" He groaned in ecstasy, hearing a snigger from below. The pair, silently working in tandem, then appeared to be battling to insert their tongues into the little sensitive slit at the top, as Regina's left and Emma's right hand fingers interlinked around his ever bulging shaft, to now pump him as one. As he watched, mesmerised, their mouths curled, before coming together in a kiss around him.

"I swear I'm going to explode! You better stop, or I'll never be able to return the compliment!"

"That's the whole idea, stupid!" Emma breathed, as they continued pumping. "Now shut up, be a good boy, and let yourself go!"

Realising they weren't going to stop, and his attempt to hold back pointless, He surrendered to the inevitable, enjoy the imminent climax. "Emma, Gina! I'm going to…going to...aaarrrgghh! Jeeeeezuz!"

Emma, her left hand cupping his balls as her right continued to pump, felt the signs, his torso rising against the pressure.

"Here, let me?" she breathed to Regina, before firmly pushing her lips back with her own, and wrap her mouth over him as he came. Almost immediately she felt salty seed on her tongue and throat, swallowing quickly to avoid the taste, before pulling her mouth from him, as his body gradually started to settle. However, they continued pumping.

It took a matter of seconds until he groaned once more. "No...sorry…not finished, coming again!"

This time, Regina felt the second twitch and repeated Emma's actions, now bringing her own mouth over him, sucking hard. "Huuunnnhhh!" he grunted, incoherently, climaxing once again, almost as violently as the first. Like Emma, she swallowed, pumping him a few more times to ensure his finish before finally withdrawing, delicately wiping her lips with her fingers, before doing the same to Emma's.

"Two climaxes within seconds of each other? That might explain how he managed to get both of us pregnant in one go?"

Robin's eyes shut in bleary bliss, as he sank deeper into the sheets. "That was...extraordinary! But what about you two? What can I do for you?"

"You can start by going to sleep! You need rest, so don't worry about us, we'll…take care of ourselves." Regina grinned, winking at Emma, before taking a sip from the water glass Emma handed her. "Now, go-to-sleep!" she kissed him between each word. Before he could even reply, Emma's face now appeared above. "You-heard-the-lady!" she said, also punctuating each word with a kiss, before rising and walking around the bed to take her wife's hand.

"Goodnight. Sleep well."

How could he fail to sleep after that?

The following morning...

Regina woke at six thirty, sunlight beaming through the curtains, and the delightful warm feeling of her wife's equally naked body spooned against her. She's slept wonderfully for the first time in weeks and didn't want to get up, but the alarm on the dressing table insisted. Last night, after they left Robin to sleep, she and Emma had returned to their own bed, and made love for a good hour, before they'd settled into each other's arms, enjoying the afterglow.

Emma never looked as contented as when she was asleep, all frown lines now invisible.

"Emma, it's time to get up, my love." She whispered into the blonde's ear. "Your turn to take them to school."

Emma grunted something unintelligible, trying to pull Regina closer. "Nah. Stay here."

The brunette resisted, chuckling and pulling herself back, before clambering unsteadily from the bed. "I'll go make tea. That'll help." Realising Roland, always an early riser, could walk in on them once she broke the soundproofing charm, Regina focused her magic, making two identical white silk nightdresses appear on herself and her still dozing spouse. She popped into the ensuite bathroom to relieve herself, before stepping out of the bedroom. Looking to her left on the landing, she noticed the open door of the guest bedroom. Robin's room. Stepping forward to peer in, she was surprised to find the sheets ruffled, but no sign of her outlaw. "Shit! Robin?" she ran in, praying he hadn't fallen. No sign, so she checked the bathroom. Nope. Skipping quickly down the stairs, she was relieved to find her thief standing by the kitchen counter, sitting awkwardly on a high stool, opposite Honour and Roland.

"What are you doing? You're not supposed to be up and about?" her voice showing a hint of annoyance.

"Couldn't sleep. I needed the loo, and I certainly wasn't going to magic up one of those bedpans! So I gave myself crutches and came down here to make tea." As he explained, he pointed to the children, happily munching on buttered toast. "These scamps must have heard me!"

"You could have used magic! Robin, you're still supposed to be resting your leg, for goodness sake!"

"Make tea using magic? Heaven forfend, Gina, have you lost your mind? That's sacrilege to an Englishman! Real strong tea, real teapot, scalding water, brew for five minutes!"

"You, Robin Locksley, always were obsessed with your ridiculous rituals!"

"I'm a Locksley too, mum!" Roland piped up. "Roland Locksley, tea drinker!" That's when she noticed her eleven-year-old with his own mug. And Honour? The young blonde, grinning, was also holding a smaller cup.

"Like father, like son I see! But Honour? Robin, I'm not sure children her age should even be drinking it."

"Nonsense! It's water, leaves and a little milk. Besides, I diluted it for her."

"I like it, mummy." Honour sat, slurping. "Why can't I be a Locksley too, like Rolly and Daddy?"

Regina wasn't sure how best to answer. "Well, Roland had daddy's last name before I even knew him! When you were born, daddy wasn't around."

"Yeah, Hon," added Roland, "when you were born, your name was Honour Marian Mills, after my birth mum. Then when mum married Emma, she got it changed to Honour Marian Swan-Mills. I stayed Locksley."

Robin wanted to ask why Roland hadn't changed his at the time? Regina saw the enquiring look, so she answered for him. "We gave him a choice, but he said no. He wanted to honour his lost father."

Robin, touched, brought his hand across to his son's cheek. "Thanks, my boy."

"I wanna be Locksley too! Can I change my name, mummy? Can I?" Honour noticed how pleased Roland's decision made papa, who was looking at him with love in his eyes.

"My love, you were named after three remarkable women, and two of them have cared for you and loved you since the day you were born. Emma Swan, Regina Mills and Rolan's birth mother, Marian Fitzwalter, are the three bravest, brightest, most loving and most courageous women I have ever met. You should feel proud to have all their names."

A small cough behind him alerted them to Emma, who'd come silently down the stairs, just in time to hear what he just said. She blushed when he included her in his little eulogy, too embarrassed to say anything. She merely walked up to him, giving his cheek a short peck as his arm went loosely around her waist. Roland watched the interaction between Regina's true love and wife with interest. So he decided to press a few buttons.

"So, ma, what do you think? Should Honny be allowed to change her name to Locksley?"

Robin frowned. Cheeky bugger! Clearly Will and Alan have rubbed off on him! "Roland, that's unfair. I've just explained why-"

"Just asking dad, no harm done!" the boy continued. "Everyone's allowed an opinion, you always say? Why can't she be Locksley, or Locksley-Swan-Mills, or anything else?"

Emma stepped in. "You're right, Rolly, she should choose whatever name she wants, though best to do it when she's a little older and knows for certain, right? Besides, I don't mind if she wants to drop the 'Swan' bit. For me, Swan's just my adopted name. Strictly speaking, I was a Nolan. I should have gone back to Emma Nolan, or even Emma Charming, but I didn't because it would be too much hassle and I couldn't be bothered. Your dad's always your dad, and he's your hero, just like mine is to me. You two are Locksleys, just as much as him. So I think you should do what you want."

Robin was genuinely touched, returning a silent kiss to Emma's forehead. "Honour, you're my beautiful daughter, and you're a Locksley in spirit, whatever your name. Perhaps you will change your name to something else when you're older? Some take their new partner's name, some don't. You'll do what you want when you're older."

The little girl smiled, seemingly satisfied. "I will. When you all get married. Just like Mulan, Rory and Philip did!"

Three pairs of eyebrows rose, but they said nothing.

Roland just sniggered.

Two days later...

I took longer than expected for Robin to get back on his feet again, albeit using crutches.

Merlin's magic had certainly made a good repair, but he still needed to build his muscle strength. Both women were out; Emma on duty and Regina to meet his cousin to discuss her post-birth paramedic training. As he looked out of the window at rain hitting the porch, his phone rang, indicating a message left:

'Will: You finished sleeping yet, o magical child rescuer? Heard lots about your goings on.'

Then a second message, straight after:

'Will: Disappointed you haven't told me over a beer. Or are the likes of me too low for the likes of you these days?'

Robin sniggered at the message. Although John, Tuck and some of the boys had popped over to see him, it had been several weeks since he'd seen Will, his sole companion on many a mission. He'd heard from John that Anastasia, the former Red Queen, had arrived in Sherwood. Apparently, the pair were making up for lost time:

'Robin: You've always been too low for me, Scarlett! Anyway, you took your time? The boys came over to see me, but not you?'

'Will: Some of us have to work for a living, god forbid, while you lounge about.'

"Why, you cheeky bugger!"

'Robin: So are you going to change the habits of a lifetime, put your hand in your own pocket and buy me a drink?

'Will: Not when I've a mate who makes magic money! What you doing?'

Robin: Being very bored. And I've been on drugs for this stupid leg. Just started hobbling about today.'

'Will: Well stop wasting time texting me. Go put your magical knickers on and get to the Earl for twelve? There's someone I want you to meet.'

'Will: And if you beg really nicely, I might even buy a round!'

'Robin: Scarlett putting his hand in his pocket? Wonders will never cease!'

'Will: Git. Just get over here. Do you need me to bring you over a wheelchair and blanket!'

His friend always teased him, and he reciprocated in kind.

'Robin: Nope. I shall magic there by poof!'

'Will: This poof? Is he someone I should know? Or do you mean Alan?'

'Robin: I'll tell him you said that, idiot! I'll see you there.'

Robin smiled at his friend's inappropriate remark. He's missed his old chum and realized he also missed the companionship of the guys as much. Yes, perhaps a beer with them would be just the thing! So, sending a short text to Regina and Emma letting them know where he was heading, he changed to leave. It was moments later Regina responded, concerned as to whether he was fit enough and encouraging him not to drink too much. In contrast, Emma replied she'd like to join them once she'd finished work. He replied to both before moving, with crutches, to the hall to put on his coat. As he did, he heard keys jangling in the front door lock as a large, dark figure walked in.

"Henry? What are you doing back? I thought you had a month to go, before the next college break?" He grinned at the broad shouldered six-foot-two young man, feeling slightly awkward at being caught in his mothers' home.

The Author merely smiled back. "Hi Robin, moved in already?" He moved forward to lightly hug the man before he spotted the crutches. "Ooh, that Black Fairy hurt you real good, didn't she?"

"No, it was a couple of her demons who got me from behind. I…wait…you know about that? Don't tell me that's in your bloody storybook too?"

"No, not yet. But you're making quite a few stories for yourself since you got back, aren't you? Building a new Sherwood village, rescuing my mums from King George. Killing the Black Fairy!"

"It has been an eventful few months, certainly. But how did you even know about her?"

"Roland keeps me in the loop. He's quite the techno-freak, with that iPad of his! He's told me all about your… goings on."

"Never mind that, lad, while it's lovely to see you, how come you're home? Not bunking off Harvard, are you?"

Henry chuckled. "Hardly. No, Friday's mostly a revision day, so I'm not missing anything. I thought I'd drive back for the weekend and surprise mums. I kinda owe them an apology."

"You still haven't said you're sorry? Henry, that's like…days ago! They tried calling you!"

"I know. I kind of apologized by text, but I haven't spoken to them since. I was going to do it tonight."

"Do it quickly then! You hurt them Henry. They may be both seem very strong women, but when it comes to you…"

"Yeah,..." He now looked guilty. "I know!"

"How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is, to have a thankless child!" said Robin. "Act 1, scene 4, I seem to recall?"

Henry was astonished. "You…you've read King Lear?"

It was Robin's turn to burst out laughing. "Sorry Henry, I'm messing with you! One of the problems of Merlin's knowledge saturation is I've picked up all manner of things. He's been around a long time so most of it is fairly irrelevant, but some of it rather interesting…"

Henry gave him an odd look. "'Interesting'! Okay, let's see. John Steinbeck's first novel?"

"Cup of Gold," he answered, without hesitation.

"Who wrote Antigone?" Henry was determined to catch the grinning man.

"Sophocles. Next?"

"What does 'absquatulate' mean?" He was determined to catch him out. Robin pondered.

"To leave somewhere abruptly. Next?"

"Who was the mother of the nine Muses and what were their names?" That should catch the smartarse.

"Mnemosyne, of course. Let's see, Zeus's daughters are Clio, Erato, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Calliope, Euterpe. Melpomene, Urania and Thalia. I met Terpsichore and Urania briefly, lovely people… "

"Holy fuck! Okay, last one. What does 'compersion' mean?"

"The opposite of jealousy. It's a feeling of joy when you see someone you love, love another…oh!" Robin realized the smart-ass boy was leading him somewhere.

"Okay Henry, enough questions. My turn! Now answer a few of your own. Why have you waited three days to tell your mums you're sorry for how you reacted on that call? You know you treated them badly, so when are you going to be a man and apologise properly?"

"Whoa! It's not every day your forty-something mums tell you they both got pregnant! It was a shock, ok? And I don't need you having a go at me. Your son did quite a good job of that! And anyway, it seems you're responsible for both 'unexpected' pregnancies? Either they could have taken the pill, or you could have used something…" He knew he was being petty. Hell, he and Violet thought he could have got her pregnant last year.

"Life is never that simple, Henry. As I'm sure you'll discover. However, I don't regret it. I was always in love with Regina and my feelings for Emma have grown over the last few months. I'm sorry if this upsets you, but I am deeply in love. With both of them!"

The Author studied him, trying to find any trace of deceit. But in his heart, he knew the man was being honest. "I believe you, but it's fucking weird, right? I mean, you getting BOTH my mums pregnant! Have you moved in, because the way Rollie tells it, you're well on the way to being Storybrooke's second 'throuple'!"

"No. I'm here convalescing here the last few days. Your mothers asked me to rest here after the hospital, but I haven't 'moved in'. Unless you forgotten, I have a village to run and I was planning to go there when you walked through the door. As for the relationship between your mothers and I, I'm not sure what to tell you, Henry. They are already married and happy and I would never seek to change that. I think Emma has some feelings for me, like Regina. I know I am in love with both of them, but I would never be so arrogant as to suppose…" he trailed off.

"I get it, Robin, I do. You're all feeling a bit screwed up and not sure where it's heading? Well it's heading to the maternity unit. In five months, you'll have five kids in Storybrooke! Hell, some people would be running to the hills by now!" he chuckled the last words.

"I would NEVER abandon my children, Henry!"

"Yeah, I get that. Anyway, after Roland gave me a bollocking," Robin smirked at the ridiculous British term, "I got to thinking about it and he's right! He and Honnie need you in their lives. I should know, I've heard everything about my dad, but I barely remember him. I would give anything to get him back! I don't want that for Rollie and Honnie. I know Regina has always been in love with you but…but…I don't want you hurting my other mum!"

"Henry, I promised your mums I wouldn't get between them and I meant it. I care for Emma more than you know. Things have changed between us, but I'll leave it for your mothers to decide what to do about it and what they want to tell you. I would like to tell you more, but I won't break their confidence. You'll just have to trust me…"

Henry looked at him curiously, staying silent for a while before changing the subject. "So, you really killed Fiona and rescued loads of kids, eh? Sounds pretty epic? I wanna know all the details; sounds like it would make an awesome book!"

"All in good time. Do your mothers know you're back?"

"Nope, only Rolly. I was planning on surprising them, though I think ma's probably still angry. She still has a problem with me standing up to her and the last time we spoke, I yelled and hung up on her."

"You're more like her than you think! She'll be fine. Emma loves you, even if she can get a bit angsty. Clearly it runs in all the Swan-Mills genes? I honestly think when you apologise, she'll probably do the same for overreacting herself. So, be the man, and get your apology in first, and mean it!"

Henry broke into a smile. "Yeah, I can do that."

"Good. Now young man, How about I buy you a pint? Emma said she'll call in after work, so how about giving her that surprise? Will said John and some of the boys will be there, too."

"You know I'm not supposed to drink till I'm twenty-one? That's not till October."

"Only a few months away? I won't tell the landlord, if you won't," said the landlord of the Earl of Locksley. "Besides, I'm pretty sure you haven't exactly been teetotal in Harvard, hmm?"

"I don't know what you mean."

Sherwood

A few minutes later, Robin and Henry apparated just outside the big oak pub door. Henry had missed his new, burgeoning powers in Boston, and was now reminded how enjoyable travelling in a magical mist could be. What he didn't enjoy was the piercing scream next to him when his body solidified.

"SHIT - WHAT THE HELL?" Grace yelled, dropping a bag in shock, as the pair suddenly appeared in front of her. He looked up, realising it was an old friend. "Henry? Henry! You scared the life out of me! What are you doing here? I thought you were still at uni?"

"Sorry, Grace. Long story, but I'm only back for the weekend. I've popped over with Robin for a drink. What are you doing here?"

"Well obviously, I came for-" she stopped the moment she saw the other man on crutches. "Robin? How are you? I heard you got injured."

"I'm fine Grace, thank you." He vaquely remembered being introduced to one of Henry's first girlfriends. "Would you care to join us? You're most welcome."

"Oh, erm. Well…" The young woman mumbled, remembering why she was here. "That'd be lovely. Thanks."

As the three made their way in, Robin hobbling on his crutches, Henry pulled open the large door to let him through. As they stepped in, a loud cheer erupted from a good two dozen people within. "Hooray!" they yelled.

"What the fu-" he mumbled, before realizing Will, John, Tuck and a number of the boys were gathered around, clearly waiting for him. Will stepped up to greet him, slapping a hand on his shoulder as others came to join them. "Mornin' chap! How's our conquering hero?"

"Tired and thirsty!" he looked at the gathering. "What's all this then?"

"Alan, get this man an ale, please?" yelled John to the bar. "Will told us you were poppin' in. We couldn't let it go without a little thank you now, could we? There's a lot of happy families around right now, Rob. You and Merlin really pulled off a pretty good miracle there!" He gave him a brotherly hug, nearly pulling him off his crutches.

The little group made their way to the bar, Robin wincing as he lifted himself onto a high stool. "That's kind of you to say, but a lot of it was Gold. He was the brains behind it. It was Merlin's idea, but Rumple planned the strategy. I don't remember too much after-"

"After you killed one of the vilest witches who ever drew breath? Don't sell yourself short, Rob. Yeah, Merlin gave us the details. And there's quite a few people outside wanna shake your hand."

"How is Rumple? He took quite a pasting."

"Nobody's seen him since he got his boy home. I think they're gettin' reacquainted."

"Wait, grandpa's got Gideon back? He's alive?" That was a little detail Henry didn't know till now.

"Yup. Ruby said she saw the nipper. Belle's over with 'em, apparently," said Tuck.

"Well that's also cause for celebration! Perhaps this might help the Dark One become a little less dark?"

"He's changed, John." Robin defended him. "Merlin seems to be helping him overcome his curse. I can't say he's entirely reformed but, over the last week in the Dark Realm, I saw another side to him you couldn't imagine. Losing two sons would screw up anybody. But I think getting Gideon back may well be the making of him!"
