It had been a month since Sam was practicing his powers so that he could defeat Lillith but the seals were being broken and only a few more were left and Lucifer would rise. Right now, Sam was in the backyard of Bobby's, practicing what castiel had taught him and Dean was sitting on the floor, watching, as huge balls of energies were thrown by his brother at a tree. "Alright, Sam, that's enough training for today" Dean said and Sam came back in the house. He was drinking water when suddenly he let the glass go because in a split second castiel was there infront of them. "God, Cas, warn a person before showing" Sam said and mended the broken glass with his powers. "My apologies but I have a lead on Lillith" Castiel said and both the brothers stood up. "Where is she?" Sam asked. "She is gonna be at a convent in Maryland. There she will break the last seal and set Lucifer free" castiel said. "When?" Dean asked. "Today" Castiel said. "Then, what are we waiting for, let's go" Sam said and the trio set their eyes for Maryland along with Bobby.
After 4 hours of drive, they finally reached Maryland. The 4 went into a motel and got a room. They were preparing to go to the convent when they heard a shriek. "Aahh" Sam grunted, rubbing his temples. "Sam? What's happening?" Dean asked. "De.." and before Sam could say anything, he collapsed and Castiel caught him. He laid him on the bed. "Hey. Sam? Wake up" Dean said, trying to rose his brother who had suddenly fallen unconscious.
Sam was walking in a field in his dream. "Hello? Anyone in here?" Sam asked. "Hello, Sam" Sam turned around to see the trickster standing there. "Loki?" Sam asked, confused. "Apologies. Let's get to the point. I am Gabriel, archangel of God" Gabriel said. "Gabriel? As in THE Gabriel?" Sam asked. "Yes" Gabriel nodded. "What did you do to me? Why am I here? I have to stop Lillith. Wake me up " Sam said, getting restless. "Yes, about that. You can't kill Lillith" Gabriel said. "But why? She is trying to free Lucifer" Sam said. "Sam, Lillith is the final seal. She is waiting for you to kill her so that Lucifer walks the earth" Gabriel said and Sam was stunned by this revelation. "If I kill Lillith, that will set Lucifer free?" Sam asked. "Yes, that's why I am asking not to kill her" Gabriel said. "Then what should I do?" Sam asked. "Exorcise her and then read this" Gabriel handed over a paper to him. "What does this do?" Sam asked, taking the paper. "After you exorcise her, read this and the gates of hell would be shut. Through this, we can stop Lucifer" Gabriel said. "Thanks. Now can you send me back?" Sam asked. "Ofcourse" Gabriel said and pressed two fingers on his forehead.
Sam gasped a huge breath to see his family beside him. "Hey, Sammy, what happened?" Dean asked. "Gabriel happened" Sam said. "Gabriel? The archangel?" Castiel asked. "He gave me very important instructions. Turns out Lillith is the last seal. She is waiting for me to kill her so that Lucifer can rise" Sam said and all of them were shocked. "So what do we do?" Dean asked. "He said that I exorcise her and to read this" Sam handed Dean a paper. "What's this?" Dean asked. "This will help close the gates of hell. I will exorcise her and send her to hell and reading this, will close the gates of hell so Lillith can't escape hell again. Through this Lucifer and Lillith both will be in hell" Sam said and everyone had a smile on their face. "C'mon guys we have a demon to kill" Sam said and everyone smirked.
