"I hope you five are happy!" Professor Cerise shouted.

"I'm not actually." Nia began.

"You were an accomplice, what happened is as much your faults as theirs. The only difference is they knew what was at stake!" Professor Cerise scolded.

"Dad!" Chloe tried interjecting.

"Not your time to talk. It's time to listen." Professor Cerise said. "All you had to do was return the legendaries to Kanto, and then you could come and go as you please. Instead the four of you sneak out, get into something way over your heads, and worst of all. Parents are pulling!"

"Professor, we were just." Serena said.

"You were just doing what you do. I understand that, but those kids' parents, they don't. Xavier and Lauren have already been pulled from the team, and Brittany's parents are leaning towards it as well." Professor Cerise sighed.

"If we could just talk to them." Goh said.

"No. You've done enough damage as it is. You aren't to leave until I say otherwise, understood." Professor Cerise said.

A collection of murmurs were heard in the room.

"I asked if you understood." Professor Cerise barked.

"Yes Professor." The teens responded.

"Good, now Pokeballs in here." Professor Cerise said holding out a box.

"Come on Pikachu." Delia said, lifting her son's starter up.

"This is crazy!" Chloe said.

"No crazy is leaving to chase legendary Pokémon without telling anyone. This is a punishment." Professor Cerise said. "You are free to go about the hotel as you please, we will discuss the possibility of leaving it tomorrow."

"Ash! Why didn't you say anything?" Goh demanded.

"Goh, look at me! The Professor is right, we messed up." Ash said. Between the two Regis he was sore all over. "Those Regis, they're something else."

"Wait, Regis? You said you only caught one, what happened to the other?" Serena asked.

"Darkrai got to it first." Ash said. "He was there before I even made it in." He couldn't tell them Seb was involved, not yet at least, he was still their friend.

"Great, the world might end, and a megalomaniac has the fifth Regi." Goh commented.

"Okay, I have no idea what's going on, but if we're stuck in here, I'm going to find something better to do than sit around." Nia said, walking off.

"I'm going to check out the rec room." Goh said.

"Pool." Chloe simply said.

"How about you Ash?" Serena asked.

"I can still feel where I was thrown into the wall, I'm not sure where I'm going to go just yet." Ash said, wincing slightly.

"Then, a relaxing day in, it is." Serena proclaimed.

"You don't have to do that, enjoy our grounding." Ash joked.

"Oh I will." Serena said picking Ash up in a bridal style.

Roughly an hour later

"Aunt Delia, right?" Nia asked approaching Delia.

"And you're Nia, what's up?" Delia asked.

"I was curious if you knew where Ash was, I think we mixed up phones." Nia said holding up Ash's phone.

"It took you this long?" Delia said in surprise.

"It's a big hotel, lots too see." Nia said.

"I think Ash went upstairs a bit ago, I'll go check on her." Delia said.

Heading towards their room, Delia saw a do not disturb sign on the handle. "Serena went up with Ash, they wouldn't have!" Delia gasped.

"Delia calm down, I'm sure you're over reacting." Grace said

"The two of them alone, with a do not disturb sign." Delia said. "I think my reaction is at a perfect amount."

"Watch, scan your card, and you'll go in just fine." Grace said. "Or not." Grace retracted as the door was clearly locked. "Okay now we know somethings up, and that it's time to act. Get Mimey, he can unlock the door from here."

"Grace, we are about to cross a line. I may have had the right thought, but barging in, do we really want to do that?" Delia said.

"Will you two keep it down. Ash is trying to sleep off the pain." Serena hissed.

"Wait what?" Delia asked.

"Try getting thrown around like a ragdoll and then tell me you're feeling super." Serena said. "He's all tucked in, had something to eat, and is sleeping."

"We thought the two of you…". Grace began. "Not that there's anything wrong with it."

"There are so many things wrong with that statement. What is with you adults and thinking we're doing something!" Serena scolded. "You've been telling us to not act irrational, and yet since prom you are the second and third adult to think we've been up to something."

"In all honesty I came up here the first time to switch phones, apparently Ash and Nia got each other's." Delia said. "I'm sorry for thinking less of you."

Downstairs

"Hey Serena." Chloe said, walking back from the pool.

"What's up Chloe?" Serena asked.

"Not much, but just an FYI, your shirt is on inside out." Chloe said.

"What! I could've!" Serena exclaimed, before realizing Chloe had caught her. "How'd you…"

"I'm young, not dumb. And it's about time, though seriously on a family vacation, how cliché." Chloe scolded.

"Well then, I guess we're at a draw." Serena said grabbing her phone.

"What makes you say that?" Chloe said.

"Next time you send photos like that, make sure they're to Seb, not Serena." Serena commented.

"This conversation never happened." Chloe said.

"What conversation?" Serena asked.

Back Upstairs

Delia crept into her room, the lights were off, and she could hear Ash's light breathing.

"Oh sweetie. If you only knew how much I cared for you." Delia said, brushing Ash's hair lightly. "I'll let you sleep for now, and maybe tomorrow we can bond. Sleep well, my darling daughter." Delia said, switching the phones as she left.
