"We were happy in our youth, traveling the country, making memories, meeting new people and doing what we love, being together. Who knew twenty years of marriage would go down the drain like that. We got married young, in our early twenties, now here I am engaged at age forty one. We share two kids, me and him. Luffy Jr. and Luna." The orange haired woman sat in a leather chair fiddling with her fingers recalling her memories.

"I remember birthing LJ, it was scary, we were both new parents, we always Googled everything hoping we were parenting the right way." She chuckles softly. "I have a scrapbook hidden in my closet of all the photos we took on our road trips and cruises. I look at them from time to time, but I honestly couldn't bring myself to burn them although I want to move on. I'm engaged, I'm soon to be a wife to someone else and yet...I can't get him out of my mind." She says softly.

The doctor on the opposite side of the table, writes down notes in his notepad, his glasses sliding slightly off the bridge of his nose. "You still feel some attachment to him, divorcing after twenty years can be hard. Why do you want to divorce him?" He asks.

Nami looks at him sternly with serious eyes, "he's a murderer."

After her first therapy session, Nami felt easier. She had finally found a well recommended therapist to share her worries and emotions to. Dr. Tony Chopper a Canadian doctor who now lives in the suburbs of Colorado. Nami buckles her seatbelt and heads to the Big Sea middle school, to pick up her kids. Fourteen years old Lj and thirteen years old Luna.

Nami still found it funny how they named their daughter, they were both terrible at naming anything so they decided to combine their names together and named their daughter, which turned out to be a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. She drove her white Grand Cherokee to collect her kids from their after school activities. Luna took art classes with her favorite teacher Mr. Usopp who is in charge of the art club after school. Lj unfortunately had detention again for his misbehavior, which Nami blamed herself for.

Nami goes to the library first to sign her son out of detention. The librarian Ms. Nico became a good friend of hers, simply because Lj kept getting in trouble at school. It was embarrassing coming to collect your child from the library almost everyday. The teachers probably secretly judged her and questioned her parenting skills as a single mother.

Nami sighs and pulls the doors open to the library to get her son. He sat there, bored watching her sign him out. Long messy black hair, brown eyes and freckles on his face and body. He smiles softly as his mother looks over at him. His right cheek swollen red on his warm peachy skin and his clothes looked ragged as if he got into a fight.

"He's been quiet the entire time, even when I tried striking a conversation with him." The onyx haired woman with glasses informs Nami.

Nami sighs softly, "how's the other kid?" Already knowing what had happened by looking at her child.

"No major injury, he got a few scratches."

"Come on Lj." Nami sighs and places her hands on her hips, disappointed in him for the umpteenth time.

"Tell Luna I said hello."

"I will Robin, have a wonderful evening." Nami waves her goodbye. Lj stuffs his hands in the pockets of his jacket.

The two walk the halls heading for the art classroom, Nami realized Lj was quiet which is normal for him. He hasn't spoken much ever since he got into ninth grade. Having a father who's in prison for murder doesn't give you the best reputation at school. Nami knocks on the door and opens it to see Luna along with a few students working on a project in the back of the class.

"Ah, you're here." A man with a nose nose walks over to the two guests. "Hello Lj."

"...hey.." his boyish voice cracks.

"Luna, your mother is here." Usopp looks to his right to the group of students. The girl with black hair and bleached orange ends looks up. Her brown orbs took notice of her mother and older brother at the classroom door.

She packs up a few things and slung her bag over her shoulder. "See you guys…" She says to the group of students.

She walks up front in these laced black boots and leggings with her brother's shirt on which is fitted oversized on her.

Nami sighed at the shirt Luna was wearing, she remembered the two arguing about it earlier today around breakfast.

"Thank you for looking after her, Usopp." Nami thanks him.

"It's my pleasure, she is very passionate about her work and expresses her emotions really well."

"See you tomorrow." Nami waves him goodbye as Luna leaves the classroom, her brother following behind her.

The three walked a quiet walk out of school, that was until they reached the car. Lj sat in the passenger seat and Luna sat in the backseat behind her mother's seat.

"Why do you still have my shirt on?! Mom! I thought you told her to change her shirt?!" Lj argues, clearly frustrated.

"I did tell her to change her shirt, Luna why are you still wearing that? I bought you your own clothes." Nami buckles her seatbelt.

"Mom, my clothes don't suit me! It's not my personality." Luna rolls her eyes and folds her arms.

"I'll get you some new clothes when I get paid next week okay?" Nami buckles her seatbelt.

"Can I finally get my nose pierced?" Luna asks.

"Absolutely not!" Nami furrows her brows at her question.

"Mom, that's so not fair! You said you'd fix my skateboard when you get paid." Lj complains.

"Lj, you got into a fight! How do you expect me to reward you for misbehavior?!"

"This is total bull!" Lj furrows his brows in anger. "He had it coming!"

"Ha ha!" Luna points her finger and laughs at him.

"Shut up Luna!" He turns around to yell at her.

"Lj! You don't tell your sister to shut up!"

"You take her side for everything!" Lj complains with a crack in his voice.

"No I don't, Luna stop provoking him!" Nami reprimanded strictly.

The pre teen sticks her tongue out at her brother before going on her phone. They hadn't left the parking lot yet and were already at each other's throat. They were like completely different people at home than at school. Lj is a hot headed ninth grader who kept getting into trouble and fighting other kids, giving him a reputation in their neighborhood as well as school. At home he doesn't fight with the other kids at all, he just goes over to their house to play video games or skateboard at the parks.

Luna on the other hand was still trying to find herself, last summer Nami finally allowed her to bleach the ends of her hair. She thought it made her look edgy and cool. She's the complete opposite of Lj when at school. She's calm and quiet at school, trying to make people think she's laid back and chill, and not a scary person like her father when really she's just a hyperactive narcissistic girl who likes to draw and alter her clothes at any chance she's given.

Nami had her hands full with these two. They were complete opposites and it doesn't help that she's had her now ex husband in jail for twelve years. She's been a single mother for their entire lives. Lj only got to be with Luffy for two years and Luna one. She wondered how things would've been now if he hadn't...done what he did. Would they be a perfect family? Would her kids have turned out differently? Would she even be needing therapy?

Whatever was bothering her she had to push to the side. She needed to focus on driving tonight and getting them home in one piece. She's inviting her fiancé Vinsmoke Sanji over for dinner, he offered to prepare it tonight so they can sit and eat as a family. She liked her fiancé, she honestly did, but…

"Mom, can we get milkshakes on the way home? I'm craving for something sweet." Luna asks.

"Lair! You're always lying about your period just so you can get things!" Lj argues.

"I am on my period! Mom! Tell Lj to stay out of women's business because clearly he doesn't understand anything about the female body!"

Nami was tired of the constant bickering everyday, it's always something new with these two. She doesn't acknowledge them and just starts her ignition.

It's late and Sanji sat at the table with Nami, Lj and Luna. They sat like a family of four. Lj and Luna liked Sanji, they never really had a father figure in their lives except grandpa Genzo who passed away a few years ago. They never visited their father in prison either. It wasn't Nami's decision to not let them visit him, it was Luffy's choice to stay hidden from them.

"Dinner was lovely Sanji-kun. Thank you again." Nami stacks the empty plates on top of hers making her way to the kitchen sink.

"It's always a pleasure to cook for my future wife and kids." Sanji smiles warmly at the two teens at the table.

"My mom said she's taking Luna shopping when she gets paid, but completely forgot about my broken skateboard…" Lj tells Sanji. Luna rolls her eyes and goes on her phone.

"I'm not fixing your skateboard if you're misbehaving in school Lj!" Nami snaps at him while cleaning the dishes.

"Mom, if I remind you too much of dad then just say that!" Lj argues back and leaves the table, running upstairs to his room.

Luna brow raises in surprise, Sanji sighs, "I'll go talk-" he begins.

"No...I'll go. Let's call it a night." She sighs in frustration.

"Maybe we can stay up and drink some wine another time." Sanji gets up from the table.

"I'll take you up on that offer." Luna comments.

"Luna...don't...just get ready for bed." Nami tells her, mentally drained already.

Luna frowns a little and goes upstairs to get cleaned up for bed. Sanji walks over and kisses Nami on top of her head. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, have a good night."

He gets his car keys off the kitchen counter and heads for the door. "Drive safely…" She says after him. Once he left, she went over to lock the door. She was downstairs alone, the dishes still soaking in the warm water.

Her thick, short, orange hair only fell to her shoulders, but it was enough to be a curtain to hide her pain behind the fake smiles. She takes in a deep breath and lets it out shakily. Lj was right, he did remind her too much of Luffy. He only took her freckles and had a mixture of their skin. His smile, his eyes, some of his mannerism all reminded her of him.

Nami makes her way upstairs, her son's door was ajar. The bathroom lights were on, signaling someone on the other side of the door. Most likely Luna. Nami knocks softly on the door before entering.

His room was red, like Luffy's favorite color. It was a mess, his broken skateboard in the corner of the room. Clothes and papers scattered on the floor, shoes not correctly in the closet and a bean bag chair with his book bag in it. Nami looks on his nightstand, it was a photo of their family. Luffy, Lj and her, pregnant with Luna.

She kicks her flats off and cuddles next to her son. "I'm sorry."

Lj doesn't say anything, the comfort of his mother was enough to bring him to tears. They trickle down sideways, due to him laying on his side. He sniffles, "I miss dad…" his voice breaks.

Nami closes her eyes, she felt heartbroken her kids couldn't grow up with their father being around. It absolutely broke her.

"I know buddy...I miss him too…" She says softly.

"Then why are you getting married again? You don't look as happy as you were in the photos with dad." He asks her.

Nami didn't answer, she didn't know why either...Sanji didn't have her heart, sure she fancied him and he was charming, took good care of her and the kids, but...the love wasn't there.

"You don't want me to?" She asks him.

"I like Sanji, but...I don't want him here...I like it with just us three. You, me and Luna."

She doesn't say anything, she just lays there listening to him breath softly. The same baby that was inside her fourteen years ago was almost as tall as her, he was growing up fast, but he was violent. She was afraid he'd end up in prison...like him.

"Why do you misbehave at school Lj? Are you being bullied?"

"They keep taunting me because of dad...I hate school."

"Do you want me to enroll you in homeschooling?" She asks him.

"...yeah...I'd like that."

Nami smiles and squeezes his arm softly, "then promise me, promise me you'd finish this semester and not get into any more trouble."

Lj turns and looks at her, "I promise l."

She smiles weakly at him, he was her little boy. She would do anything for him. Not that he was her favorite, but she did have a weak spot for him. He's her first born after all. Nami kisses his forehead and says goodnight before closing the door behind her to go to her own room.

The big empty master bedroom that once belonged to her and Luffy. She goes to her closet and picks out the scrapbook she made, flipping through all the photos of her and Luffy on their little adventures, they used to spend a lot of time at the beach. She was hot in her twenties. Long orange hair, lightly freckled body, hourglass shape, perky boobs, and no signs of stress or frustration on her face. She smiles at herself, recalling the memories.

Next to her was Luffy with a coconut, he had his swim trunks on to match her two piece swimsuit, his nice lean muscles and his tall structure. This was their honeymoon. They had vacation in the Bahamas, swimming with the pigs and getting a suntan on the rented yacht.

She flips through and finds a photo of Lj's first birthday party. The toddler with a head full of jet black hair and freckles all over his light skin. She was feeding him cake and Luffy took selfies of the three.

Then, there was a photo of her in a hospital bed, breastfeeding Luna. It was another selfie taken by Luffy. Lj was with his grandfather Genzo at the time.

The last photo was at the park. Luffy was playing with Lj and Luna at the park on the toddlers playground. She took this one. She didn't realize the tears falling from her cheeks and onto the scrap book. She closes the book and opens her night stand dresser for a tissue.

There in front of her face was her old wedding ring. A beautiful gold band. She can recall when he proposed to her, she felt like the happiest woman in the world. It made her question if she wanted to marry again. She hadn't seen him since she visited him in the prison for him to sign the divorce papers. That was two years ago now. She regretted doing so, because now...he was being released in a few months.

She felt a mixture of emotions with the thought of him being released. She was happy, but anxious at how things were going to be between them. She still loved him, but...couldn't be with him. She'd feel guilty, and it would eat her up inside. He was only rotting in prison because of her.

She takes the tissue and wipes away her tears, blowing her nose softly in the tissue, she turns the lamp off and lays on her side of the bed to cry herself to sleep for another lonely night.

Two week later, Lj got his skateboard fixed, Luna bought new pieces of clothing and Nami...she was at her second therapy session.

"Now, let's pick up where we left off...what crime did he commit for him to be sentenced to twelve years?" Chopper asks her.

"There was...this guy named Arlong. He was a crazy ex-boyfriend I had when I was living in the low income area, the slums. We dated in my early highschool years and he lived in my neighborhood. He was older than me by a few years and my mother wouldn't let us be together. One night,...he and my mother got into an argument. He killed her, right there in front of me." She says bitterly, trying to fight back tears.

"So of course, I called the police on him, my sister and I...we're not close anymore. She felt disgusted that I never listened to our mother, she blames me for bringing around a man like that. Once he killed our mother, that was the last straw for her. She didn't want anything to do with me." She fiddles with her fingers again.

"Arlong told me that he'd kill me if I ever left him, he was crazy to think that I wouldn't leave him...he killed my mother. Of course...of course I was going to leave him."

Chopper listens to her intently. "I stayed with one of my neighbors named Genzo instead of going into the foster home like my sister. He raised me, he was also a close friend of my mother and was distraught at her passing. In my last year of highschool I met Luffy. I was a senior and he was a junior. We didn't talk much until we both met again in community college. We started seeing each other as more than friends." She smiles softly, thinking about her younger days.

"We got married when I was twenty one and he was twenty. We were pretty young, but in love. We traveled around the world during any break we got and I had enrolled into a four year college to get my bachelor's in atmospheric science. At twenty five I graduated college and we worked and got our first house together. He got a promotion as a fireman and life was good. For those two years we would plan our trips or spend money renovating the house. The house that my kids and I currently live in…"

"Sounds like you two had a pretty eventful youth." He smiles warmly at her.

"Yes, everyday was like an adventure with him."

"Tell me more."

"Well, at twenty seven, I got pregnant with my first born. He's a junior, but we call him LJ. Then at twenty eight I had a baby girl named Luna. At twenty nine….that's where things had gone wrong. My ex had been released from prison and was out for my blood. I had told Luffy about my past with Arlong and he said he'd protect me if he ever came around again…" tears start welling in her eyes. "One night, Luffy and I had a date night and the kids were at their grandfather's. We were attacked on our own property by Arlong. I remembered he tried to swing at me, but Luffy got in the way and they fought. There was so much going on a few of the neighbors woke up trying to separate them and one had called the police. There was so much blood, Luffy had beaten him to death and was taken away by the cops. He saved me...my past got him into prison and I can't help but feel so guilty." She sobs. "He was supposed to get thirty years in maximum prison, but they reduced it to twelve because it was self defense."

Chopper hands her a box of tissues.

"He's supposed to be released in a few months, but I can't help feeling scared of what he'll do to me. I did him the same way as Arlong and I'm afraid he'll take his anger out on me, I caused him to end up there. I'm walking free and he's rotting away because of ME!"

Chopper is sympathetic towards her. She's afraid, anxious and ridden with guilt.

"I still love him, but I'm afraid he'll want revenge like Arlong."

"You mentioned being engaged. Who's the guy that you met?"

"His name is Sanji, I met him when Lj was eleven. He's a nice guy. I met him while grocery shopping. We've been out on a few dates, but I don't think I can love him the way I love Luffy. I'm afraid it'll all be an entire circle again. Me, Arlong, Luffy and now him."

"If you're not going to love him wholeheartedly then why marry him?"

"For my kids...I want there to be a male figure in the home for them...sometimes I want to give up on parenting. My son…he's fighting other kids and I don't want him to end up like his father. My daughter, she's calm, but has a temper as well...she expresses her emotions through her sketches. I can't talk to my son like how I talk to my daughter because I can't relate to him as a male. Some things, I don't know how to handle or I don't know what to say to him."

"So you want a male figure in the home for your kids, but you're afraid of Luffy being released to take vengeance on you and possibly Sanji."

"Yes...it's so stressful to think about because I've been through this before. It drains me mentally and physically. My vacation is almost over and I'll have to be at work next week. I took this little break focus on my mental health because-"

The little timer that was keeping time goes off. This was the end of their session, it was still the morning time because she had just dropped the kids off to school.

"Can I pay for another thirty minutes?" She goes into her purse.

"I'm sorry, but we have to reschedule. I can't be inconsiderate to my other clients. I have an opening next week if you'd like the spot."

"Yes, please."

In the parking lot, Nami checks her phone. She had an unread message from Sanji saying he was taking Luna to the SoulKing concert this weekend and a message from her neighbor Viviane saying there was someone sitting on the stairs in front of her house.

Viviane, Vivi for short, is one a new neighbor of hers, she and her husband Kohza had moved in two years ago. She has a son named Kyle who's the same age as Lj. The two fourteen year olds always sleep over at each other's houses or go to the skatepark down the street.

Nami was curious as to who was sitting on the steps of her house and buckled her seatbelt to drive off in a hurry. Coming off the highway, she drove for ten more minutes until she pulled up to the front of her house. Her heart sank to her seat.

It couldn't be-

There was no way it was him.

Her hands tremble as she releases herself from her seatbelt. She comes out of the car, her knees weak, about to give out on the lawn Sanji just recently mowed.

There he was, sitting there on the stairs watching her. His short black hair had grown quite a bit, he had a beard now and not just a stubble. He looked more buff and meaty than he was before, there was even a scar under his eye, Luffy was so unrecognizable to others, but Nami knew exactly who he was.

She walks up to him holding her breath. She felt like she was going to pass out, her knees were shaking, not in surprise but in fear. She'd been through this before, she feared he'd want to strangle her for making his life miserable.

"I see you moved the spare key from under the flower pot." He says, smiling weakly at her.

"What….what are you doing here…?" She asks him, nervously.

"I came to see you…"

"No...what are you doing here, you're not supposed to be out yet."

"Got out early on good behavior, wasn't expecting to see me so soon?" He asks her.

Nami watches him get up from the stairs, he looks like he has gotten taller, but that could just be the weight be gained. She moves past him slowly and unlocks her door. He enters after her.

He took a look around, nodding his head in understanding, "I see… you switched up the place."

"Yeah…" She sets her things down and heads to the kitchen, Luffy follows her.

"So where are the kids? Are they not home?"

Nami froze at the fridge door. How are the kids going to react to him being released? She hasn't fully registered him being here and is still shaky about him standing so close to her, he could strangle her at any moment or take a knife and stab her while her back is turned.

"They're at school." She answers him and opens the fridge to get a pitcher of water to drink for her dry throat.

"What's wrong? You seem...off."

"You're scaring me…" She says in a shaky voice.

It didn't take long for Luffy to realize the position he's in. She is probably suffering from PTSD. Arlong killed her mother, went to jail and came back for revenge on her and now he was in the same position as him.

"Nami...I'm not going to hurt you and I never will...when I signed those divorce papers….I gave you permission to move on so you wouldn't have to fear for your life." He tells her.

Nami leaves the pitcher and covers her mouth to sob instead. He was reassuring her of her safety. "I'm sorry….I'm so, so sorry…" She turns to embrace him into a hug. The door to the refrigerator shuts.

Without hesitating he hugs her back, who knows how long he's been waiting to hold her again, to smell her again, to feel her again. He closes his eyes wishing the moment would never end. He missed her every day, every second and every year. He wasn't the same when she stopped visiting him after he signed the papers. Part of him regretted signing those papers, but he knew...it was for her good.

"It's my fault you were in there, you didn't deserve to be there…" She says muffled into his chest.

"Don't be sorry, I'd do another twelve years if it meant protecting my family." He rests his chin on top of her head.

More tears came to her eyes, she was still in love with him, she stood, in her kitchen, with the man she loves. With tears in her eyes she looks up at him and plants a kiss on his lips. Her emotions got the better of her. Even though she was engaged, the ring on her left hand didn't mean anything to her right now.

Luffy holds her waist tightly, he hadn't had a kiss or any type of intimacy in twelve years. He was a bit rough with the kiss, but she liked it.

Nami hadn't been in bed with Sanji a lot. He couldn't satisfy her like Luffy did. She leans into the kiss to taste more of him. Oh how she missed these lips, she missed his hands on her and the passionate nights they spent together. Nami steps back, breaking the kiss.

Luffy looked at her with hungry eyes.

"I have to show you something." She tells him.

She leads him upstairs to where she and the kids' bedrooms were. She gave him a quick tour of the kids room, telling him how much Lj had resembled him and found an interest in skateboards while Luna was learning on who she wants to become, being passionate about art and her having her first period.

Luffy smiles ear to ear looking around his kid's room. He knew he missed a lot. He hadn't seen Lj since he was two and Luna since she was one. He knew he told Nami to not let the kids visit him, he didn't want them to see him in that place, but God knows how much he missed them.

Finally, Nami welcomes him to her bedroom, their old room. The bed was neatly made and the room was tidy unlike Lj's room. Nami goes to her closet and takes out the scrapbook she made.

"Sometimes, before bed I look through these photos." She invites him to sit on the bed with her to look through the photos.

"They were so small." Luffy comments, looking at photos of his kids.

"And very adorable." Nami adds.

Luffy noticed her left hand had a ring on her wedding finger while she was pointing at the photos, he didn't want to say anything, but he was saddened a bit. She was probably already married.

Nami closes the scrapbook after showing off the last photo she had. She places the book under her bed and smiles weakly at him. This was him. This is who she loves. Monkey D. Luffy. The man who saved her, protected her and made her mother. Nami couldn't help herself, she leans over and gives him another kiss, this time with tongue.

Although he saw the ring on her finger, Luffy didn't deny her, he's been waiting for this moment for an extremely long time. He pushes her onto the bed, taking his shirt off. Her hands tracing his chest. Something about his chest felt off, she opened her eyes and gasped at the large scar on his chest.

"W-what happened to you?" She asks him. Saddened at the fact that he could've lost his life while in there.

"It's brutal there." He kisses her again, so she'd just drop it. He wouldn't want to go in depth about the abuse he went through while in there, especially from the inmates that were fond of Arlong.

Nami lets him take her shirt off. She closes her eyes as he kisses her along her neck down to the center of her chest. He unhooked her bra and slid it off of her. Engulfing a beige nipple in his mouth. She arches her back at his warm tongue playing around with her being bud, while his other hand massages her unattended breast.

Nami knew he'd be horny after he'd gotten out, back in their days, they'd taken turns dominating each other, but right now she belonged to him and allowed him to be the one in control. He kisses her again, and traces his hands along her sides, her waist no longer having its hourglass shape, but filled out to be more rectangular. His hands tracing the waistband of the jeans she wore.

He unbuttoned the low rise jeans and slid them off of her. She wore red panties to match her bra, his favorite color. She kisses him again and moves his hand down to her crotch area where she was a little wet. Lufyf smirks at her and pulls her panty to the side to slip a finger in. She gasps at the sudden hole being played with by his finger.

Nami wraps her arms around his neck, to kiss him again, she moans into the kiss, "I missed you.."

Luffy kisses her cheek, then her nose. He gazes into her eyes as she winces every now and then at the motion on his finger. He pulls his finger and plays with his jeans, pulling them off along with his underwear to reveal his hard member. Nami takes her underwear completely off and lays on her back, waiting for him to enter her.

Luffy climbs back on top of her and aligns his member with her private area. He entered her slowly, she was already soaking wet so it was an easy slip in. Nami closes her eyes taking in the thick long meat that had just entered her slowly. She remembers this feeling, this ecstatic feeling made her feel young again.

He holds hands with her on the side of her head and eases his way in and out of her. They were making love, like they used to. It wasn't fast and rough, but passionate and slow. Full of love.

It's been twelve years since Luffy felt this way, he was longing for the days he'd see her again, he was happy she felt no different. Her body had changed somewhat as the years went by, but it didn't bother him, not even in the slightest. When you love someone, you love every aspect of them.

His hips started to buck faster, she let out a moan of pleasure. She wasn't loud or anything, but her cries of pleasure turned him on. He could feel her walls tightening and so did himself.

"Together?" He asks her.

She knew exactly what he meant. He quickens the pace and her walls tightens more. Soon she felt the hot fluid shoot up inside her. She herself felt a release of ecstasy. He pants and leans over her. Her hands running along his back and they quietly pant together.

Luffy started to grow hard again, he wanted more. He was ready for more. One round wasn't going to satisfy him, especially after twelve years. He looked at her and she understood him with that one look. He wasn't done with her.

After seven more rounds, they finally laid under the covers trying to recover from their love making sessions. Hair stuck to their sweaty foreheads. Nami cuddles with him, bare chested.

"Are you married? I saw a ring on your finger." He asks her while soothing her hair.

"I'm not, but does it matter now? We just made love seven times. Clearly you're the one who still has my heart." She smirks up at him.

She wasn't lying, he indeed did have her heart and always will. Luffy smiles at her comment, knowing she still loved him for him and didn't turn away after what he did, although she tried.

"I can't wait for the kids to meet you again…" She says softly.

Luffy felt his heart stop for a second. The kids. His kids. He didn't know what they were gonna think of him now that he's a free man. They probably didn't want him around because they have a new and better father figure in their lives. They probably hold a grudge against him after the sickening crime he'd committed.

"I'm jealous you know…" He starts. "I was jealous of the nights that I don't spend with you, I was wondering who you laid next to.." he says softly. "I wish you...and the kids the best this world has to give."

"What're you saying?" Nami looks at him worryingly.

"A piece of me was hoping you'd come back and tell me all you found was heartbreak and misery after you divorced me, but...you never did." Luffy lets her go and sits on the side of the bed.

He starts to put his clothes and shoes back on. Nami starts panicking. "W-where are you going?"

He stops and looks at her, "where are you happy...without me?"

Tears well up in her eyes. "No, no, no, please don't leave me Luffy, please, no, not again, we can make this work. I can call off the engagement, we can move states and start new." She hugs him from behind. "Just please, don't leave me, I haven't been happy ever since you got arrested." She sobs into his back. "We can...we can make this work, the kids….the kids miss you...I missed you."

"Nami…"

"Don't Nami me, I'm not letting you leave. So please, please stay so we can figure this out and make it work. I'm still in love with you." She closes her eyes tightly.

She could hear his heart beating, she'll be damned if he leaves again! Sanji would just have to kick some rocks, she'll always be grateful for what he's done for her and her kids, but Luffy was just irreplaceable.

He holds her hand, smiling sadly to himself. He felt bad for the other guy, he picked up where he left off and now she was throwing it all away for him, a murderer.

"Okay….I'll stay." She hears him say.

She sighs in relief and gets on her knees to kiss him on the cheek. "Thank you…"

Luffy reassures Nami that he'll stay and she gets dressed as well. They head downstairs so Nami could make them a sandwich for lunch, it was a little after twelve. All that love made them hungry and tired. Nami opted for something different, but Luffy wanted to taste Nami's delicious sandwiches again.

As she was making the sandwiches, Luffy made it his job to take out the trash.

Skating down the street from the skatepark to his house, Lj carried his book bag on his back and his earbuds in his ears listening to some RB music. He skipped school after the fifth period to escape school and go home early...without hesitating mothers permission of course. Luna who was still at school hadn't known of his absence, nor did he cared to tell her, she would've ratted him out anyway.

With his house in sight, he squints his eyes at a tall man with slightly long black hair, a beard and a scar under his eye. He was buff looking like he'd been working out. He looked extremely familiar once he got closer to see the figure walk back inside of his house.

"...dad?!" Lj audibly asks himself.
