"Well Lusamine, let's hope this new suit you designed works as well as the last one." Ash said, attaching the portable suit.
When the Aether representatives visited to try and send Guzzlord back, they had updated some of Ash's tech to fit the newer setup, including his suit. A familiar warmth spread across his body as the suit expanded, covering his current outfit. If it could survive Ultra Beasts, it could handle a legendary or two. What was new was how it fit. Ash could feel the main outfit didn't even begin to cover his legs, but a secondary material had covered them. Looking down the top part of the uniform had remained largely unchanged, a bit more armored, but nothing else. At the waist now was a skirt that didn't even make it to his knees, and his boots went up to his mid calf, the rest of his legs encased in tights.
'Ash, hope you enjoy the updated uniforms. The new team felt there should be bigger differences for the boys vs the girls, and we weren't sure what direction to take yours. If you aren't a fan of it, please let us know and we'll make some adjustments.'

"Great. Well it's better than nothing, I guess." Ash sighed. "Charizard let's go!"
As they were flying in the air, Ash saw three attacks shoot up towards him.
"Great, just what I needed!" Ash said. "Charizard, get a closer look!"
As they dove through the clouds, Ash saw the Pokémon who were attacking them. Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.
"What a surprise. Charizard use a sweeping flamethrower!" Ash called out.
As they got in for a closer hit, Charizard's wing was hit by a thunderbolt, sending both him and trainer in opposite direction.
'Impact adjustment online.'
As Ash landed, he expected pain, maybe even falling over, but there was nothing.
'Releasing stored energy.'
A blast of wind shot out all the snow around Ash, as he realized the new suit had saved him.
"Not going to complain about the boots, but COULD THEY SPARE FOR SOMETHING WARMER!" Ash complained. "Oh no." Ash said, seeing the dogs close in. Pikachu and Charizard were nowhere in sight. "Gigalith use Rock Slide!"
A barrage of rocks stopped the legendary Pokémon in their tracks, as Ash quickly began thinking again.
"Come on out guys!" Ash said, tossing out Dunsparce, and Swampert. "Gigalith use Flash Cannon! Dunsparce use Dragon Rush! Swampert use Waterfall!"
The legendary dogs were knocked back slightly, quickly preparing a counter attack.
"Mimey use Protect!"
"Rapidash use Flare Blitz!"
Ash turned to see his parents and their Pokémon running up to him.
"Ash, we saw Charizard go down. Are you okay?" Richard asked.
"I'm fine, but you guys shouldn't be here, I've got this." Ash said.
"Sweetie, we're a family. We'll do this together, no argument." Delia said. "Also is that skirt really appropriate for this weather?"
"I didn't know it would give me a skirt!" Ash complained. "Swampert use Waterfall! Gigalith use Flash Cannon! Dunsparce use Drill Run!"
"Mimey use Psychic!"
"Rapidash use Stomp!"
The attacks while pushing back the Pokémon, still didn't do much from their opposing attacks.
"Ash! You have experience with legendary Pokémon, how do we beat them?" Richard asked.
"I don't know! It's usually not this hard!" Ash shouted.
"Don't raise your voice at me young lady!" Richard argued.
"Young lady!? I'm your son and I'm eighteen!" Ash countered.
"You look a lot like a son dressed like that!" Richard pointed out. "Besides you wanted to be our daughter this trip!"
"No! I was going to be her daughter! I had full intentions of never seeing you again. Plus I'm pretty sure the end of the world is more important than mother daughter time!" Ash screamed.
"Ash, Richard, in case you've forgotten. WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" Delia scolded.
As if it was waiting for a cue, an orange blur charged right at the dogs, throwing them into the side of the mountain, a pile of snow and rocks falling on the three legendary Pokémon. Charizard swooped back down with Pikachu on his shoulder, an accomplished grin on both of their faces.
"Just go back to the camp." Ash said regaining composure. "Lucario is keeping the barrier up, you'll be safe there."
"And you will be too." Richard urged.
"I deal with things like this all the time, you don't, now go." Ash said.
"Just be careful, okay?" Delia asked.
"I will be, make it back quick." Ash said. "I've got a bird to find."
Delia watched her son race up the mountain, off to save the world again. She just hoped he'd keep making it back home.
A bit up the mountain, Ash saw a majestic bird, seemingly waiting for him.
'Releaser of the Regis, I am not your enemy.' A voice said in Ash's head.
"You would be careful to stay out of my head." Ash said, walking forward. Any legendary that could communicate and didn't attack first was worth talking with.
'Zapdos, Moltres and myself, we lived in a tense peace with one another. However, without the Regi's sealing the land, other legendary shave come loose, and those of us who call it home, have been forced to flee.' Articuno communicated.
"Doesn't look like you've gone too far." Ash pointed out.
'This land is my home, and we were attacked.' Articuno pointed out.
"Yeah, join the club. I was shot out of the sky." Ash complained. "Just get back to your tree so we can fix all of this."
"That's where the issue is, our counterparts are waiting there, they've claimed it as their own.' Articuno responded.
"Let me guess, you want me to drive them out?" Ash asked.
"I will assist you." Articuno said.
"You will do no such thing. You're already in my head, I don't need my guard lowered while you're around." Ash said. "No offense, but I'm wary of trusting new psychic types."
'Very well, but how do you plan on beating them without legendary support?' Articuno reminded.
"I have my ways." Ash said confidently.
'Forgive me for this.' Articuno said, swooping in front of Ash. 'I am not your enemy, and you could use the help.'
"Get out of my way." Ash warned.
'You don't know what you'll be dealing with, you need me.' Articuno said.
"Charizard, show him how much we need help. Use Flamethrower!" Ash called out.
The flames sent Articuno backwards into the storm, a pair of red eyes soon came back towards him.
"Maybe attacking was the wrong idea." Ash said in realization. "Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash shouted as he clambered onto Charizard. The moment Pikachu was on, they were off heading towards the tree. "I really hope the others are on their way." Ash said.
