"Okay, copy that." Serena said over the phone. "Ash! Everyone is coming in fast, we need those three out of here!"
"Thanks Serena, I hadn't thought of that!" Ash yelled. The battle was now eleven on three but he was still making no progress. "I can't stop them because they're so close to the aura tree, and I can't lead them away because then I'm not strong enough. That's it!" Ash realized. "Guys hold your own for just a minute. Serena tell everyone to wait for the signal. I'm calling backup!" Ash said running to the tree. "I don't need everyone, I don't need a miracle. I just need a message sent to my Pokémon here at the Tundra. Tell them they're needed at the peak of the mountain." Ash said placing both hands on the tree.
The figure inside the tree was surprised to see the tree respond to that humans emotions, and actually help with what was asked.
"Okay guys. Help is on the way. For now, we hold our position!" Ash called out. "Pikachu, let's do this. Use Gigavolt Havoc!"
Lightning shot out at the legendary Pokémon pushing them back, but it wasn't just Pikachu's.
"I had a feeling you'd be quick." Ash said as Regieleki took form.
At the base of the mountain
"Serena is telling us to wait for a sign, any idea what that means?" Chloe asked, from atop Virizion.
"Knowing Ash, we'll know it when we see it." Professor Cerise said calmly.
"Snorlax wait!" Tracey shouted as the large Pokémon took off towards the peak.
"Should we stop him?" Nia asked.
"I'm not getting in its way again." Goh commented.
"Uh guys. We might want to move!" Chloe screamed as a stampede of Pokémon followed after Snorlax.
"Was that our sign?" Nia asked concern rising.
"No, but I think it'll be coming soon." Richard said.
Back at the peak
"Ash, we need a new plan. You can't keep this up forever." Serena said worridley.
"I don't need too." Ash said, seeing the snow begin to shake. "Get in the castle!"
Serena and Delia quickly complied running into the castle, as what sounded like an avalanche hit right outside.
Back outside
"Lay it on them guys!" Ash shouted.
Even Zygarde couldn't match thirty Tauros as they pushed him back. Ash's entire group of Pokémon combined was enough to clear the way for everyone to get up the mountain.
"Pikachu use Thunder!" Ash screamed into the crowd.
Back at the base of the mountain
"Guys, there's our sign!" Peony exclaimed, seeing the electricity shoot into the sky.
"Let's move!" Richard shouted, leading the charge up the mountain.
Back at the camp
"What is it?" Brittany asked tilting her head sideways. They had managed to clear of the vines, revealing a statue with glowing green eyes underneath.
"Look at its head, it's huge!" Xander exclaimed.
"And those horses, do you think this might be the king?" Lauren asked.
"I don't know, I just hope everyone out there is okay." Parker said. His dad and sister were out there, and he couldn't help them.
Back on top the mountain
"Ash!" Goh exclaimed.
"Go! Get inside! End this! I'll hold them off!" Ash called out.
"We can help!" Richard interjected, only to see Charizard blast back Kyurem's attack. "Never mind, you've got this. Keep up the good work!"
Inside the castle
"You guys are alive!" Serena said hugging Goh and Chloe. "And you brought the swords of justice!"
"And the kings steeds." Peony added. "Now where is this king?"
"I'm right in front of you." Nia said.
"Nia, this is no time for messing around." Peony said.
"I am not Nia, my name is Caylrex, and I am the king of the Crown Tundra." Nia said, as a green and white Pokemon floated down from atop the tree. "I needed a way to communicate with you humans, in my current state I was unable to do so on my own."
"Give me my daughter back!" Peony demanded.
"In time, but I must explain some things." Caylrex said calmly. "Your daughter is unharmed, I mean to cause no trouble."
"She was in a coma for days!" Serena spat.
"An unforeseen consequence, I assure you it won't happen again. Just as I can assure what has happened these past few days will happen again." Caylrex stated. "You did not cause this by releasing the Regi's. Regigigas hid them away here in the hopes my power would keep them sealed. However as time went on my powers dwindled. You all changed that though."
Bubbles appeared around them showing their adventures over the past few days.
"By staying strong and working together, you've brought back my powers, hopefully enough to reseal the break in reality, returning things back to normal." Caylrex said. "Peony, I ask you to hold onto young Nia, just in case."
"I thought you said she'd be fine." Peony said warily.
"She will be, but the sudden regaining of her body might not give her control for a second or two." Caylrex said. "Glacitier, Spectrier, come to me."
The two horses trotted towards Caylrex and Nia, stopping on either side of them.
"Let us restore peace to our home once again." Caylrex said, releasing control of Nia and stepping onto the ground.
A wave of green spread out quickly from him, walking over everything. The castle restored, and the tree brought back to life. Outside the castle, Ash watched as the legendary Pokémon he was facing disappeared into smoke, and the storm began to die down. From here he could begin to see the true beauty of the tundra. Back at base camp, Parker watched as the barrier vanished and the sun shone brightly down on them. It was over, they had won.
Back at the castle
"Thank you all for this. I can never repay you for what you've done." Caylrex said telepathically. "There are two more I must thank."
Outside the Castle
"Ashton Richard Ketchum, your power exceeds my own even now." A voice said.
"I'm guessing you're the king." Ash said.
"You are correct." Caylrex said. "You are quite impressive for a human. Capturing and commanding this many Pokémon you truly are great."
"So, are we all good. No more problems?" Ash asked. "We are in fact all good, and Pikachu, keep an eye on him. He's bound to get into trouble if he keeps fighting legendary Pokémon like that." Caylrex said.
Later, back at camp
"Are you sure about this?" Professor Cerise asked.
Hoopa had opened up portals to get everyone back home, and Ash and his family had decided against it.
"Yeah, I think it's time we spend some time as a family, and not just when the world is ending." Ash said. "There's more to me than I know, and I'd like to learn some of it. I'll be back when the vacation is scheduled to be over though."
"Until then, I wish you safe travels." Professor Cerise said calmly. "Take care of him Richard."
"He doesn't need me, but I think I need him right now." Richard admitted.
"See you soon." Serena said, kissing Ash on the forehead.
