Thinking on it now, I probably shouldn't have started so many stories. But nevertheless! I must persevere! I know some of these stories are held near and dear to the hearts of my followers, so I will continue writing for them. Besides, I still love them too. But in any case, no more talking! Only action!...or idly laying in bed reading this? I don't know. Just go on and read the chapter...I guess.

The way back to Mitsuki's house was relatively quiet. Though, Izuku could hardly blame the other two for wishing to stay that way. It's been a rather eventful day. He and Kacchan had a fight, he stormed off, stayed out for X amount of hours, got involved with a robbery, and then proceeded to stop said robbery.

Honestly? He just wanted to go home and take a nice long nap...or maybe just sleep. It was beginning to become sundown after all.

"Izuku, I know you already told the police, but do you remember anything about what happened in that store?" Mitsuki asked, glancing at the greenette through the mirror. Izuku perked up slightly as he looked toward her.

'Now's a good a time as any I guess.' Izuku thought to himself as he turned back to the sight of his stand. It stayed motionless, as it has been. No surprise from him. He's figured that this Stand acted upon his will. Like in his sanctuary when he wanted to reach his money bank. Or back in the store...

"Go-chan...there's something that I need to tell you. It's about something that I found today." Izuku started. He stared down at his hands, the faint image of his Stand overlapping them. He paused for a moment, trying to think of a good way to explain his situation.

"Is there something wrong, Izuku?" Katsuki asked. She turned to him, concern and slight guilt in her eyes. It made him remember what he said to her before he stormed out of the house. He didn't really mean to say those things. He really didn't. If anything, he's happy to know that with a Quirk like hers, he'd be surprised if she didn't make it to the top ten pro heros!

"I'm okay Kacchan. Really. It's just...after I left home, I went to my hidey hole and tried training again. But thinking about dad...I was so sad and angry...I felt something welling up in my chest. It kept growing and growing. When I felt like I was going to faint, I suddenly felt something release. I was tired, and looked around, I saw something. It's hard to describe, but it's shaped like a person." Izuku began. Both Mitsuki and Katsuki were listening with rapt attention. Mitsuki wearing a contemplative expression while Katsuki simply stared at him with confusion and curiosity. Izuku scrunched his face in thought, trying to find the best words to describe his stand to them without it sounding like something that a child would say was his imaginary friend.

"Thinking on it now, I don't think what it looks like is really important, but I can tell you that no one can see it or interact with it unless I want it to." Izuku tried to explain. Katsuki immediately went starry-eyed, thinking that it could only be one thing.

"Izuku! Does that mean you have a Quirk now!? That's so amazing! Do you know what it does? How it works? Does it-does it respond to verbal commands? Is it an energy that you need to mold yourself? Is it-" Katsuki went off. With every question, she would shake Izuku ferociously. Mitsuki would have taken a picture of the scene if she wasn't driving, but she felt like she needed to stop her now before she made her little Cinnamon Bun feint.

"Katsuki, please calm down. I think Izuku is starting to rub off on you." Mitsuki teased, giggling. Katsuki stopped what she was doing and stared at her mother for a moment before turning her head back to a still dizzy Izuku. To her credit, she at least stopped shaking him and seemed just a bit sheepish.

"S-sorry, Izuku. But don't you think this is great, mom? Izuku has a Quirk! That means all those dumb doctors were wrong!" Katsuki said cheerfully. She beamed a great big smile that made Mitsuki really start to wonder if Izuku really was starting to rub off on her daughter. But, she knew that in the past century and a half, technology hasn't been wrong in deducting whether or not a person has a Quirk. And from the look on Izuku's face right now, so did he.

"Sweetie, you know that can't be it. After all, those same 'dumb' doctors said that you had a Quirk. Were they wrong?" Mitsuki challenged. Admittedly, it was a rather weak point in an argument to say the least. But, for a young child like her own, who's tired from everything that's happened today, Katsuki was hard pressed to come up with a counter-argument.

"...But but but!"

Doesn't mean she wasn't going to try.

"No, Kacchan. She's right. This can't be a Quirk. Doctors haven't been wrong about this in over a hundred years. This...thing, is different. I know it is." Izuku said after stopping his head from spinning.

"Izuku, about that. How do you know it's real and not just..." Mitsuki trailed off. She wanted to believe him, but in a high pressure situation like that, and being just a child, she felt justified in being suspicious.

"That it's not just my imagination? I get it. It's not that plausible to me either." Izuku said, looking down with a somber, but understanding smile." Mitsuki didn't have to look back to hear the tone of resignation in his voice.

"No, your right. I know you wouldn't lie about this, so I trust you. If you say it's real, then I believe you." Mitsuki said, looking into his eyes through the rearview mirror. He smiled back at her before she set her eyes back on the road.

Huh, they were already home.

"Let's continue this inside. Then you can tell us exactly whatever it is you have, alright?" Mitsuki proposed, driving into her parking lot. Izuku nodded in agreement before thinking of something. As Mitsuki stopped the car and placed it in park before turning it off, Izuku willed his stand to come out and had it open the door for the Bakugo mother.

"What in the..." Mituki questioned, getting out of the car and inspecting the door to see if anything was wrong with it. When she found nothing, she turned to Izuku who had already gotten out of the car.

"I call it a Stand. I think it comes from me and does whatever I want it too. It sounds weird, but I think it does that because it's an extension of myself. It's a little confusing, but I'm about...eighty percent sure about that." Izuku said, giving Mitsuki one of his signature Sweetness Overload Smile! *Patent Pending

"So this...Stand...is a part of you?" Katsuki asked, coming to stand next to him. She had her finger on her chin in thought, trying to figure out how that was any different from a Quirk.

"Not exactly. You said before that your Quirk feels like it comes from your whole body, right?" Izuku asked, making Katsuki nod. She did feel like it was a slight tug on her insides to make her sweat explode. Kind of like the sensation of breathing, actually.

"So your saying that it's not the same for you?" Mitsuki questioned as she led the kids into the house. She turned on the lights and placed her keys in the hands of a product in the shape of All Might specifically manufactured to act as a Keyholder. (Izuku's Idea, of course)

"Nuh-uh. For you and any other Quirk user, it's like another function of your body because it is another function of your body. People have started to evolve to have superpowers as a biological trait. But for me...this feeling...it feels like my soul. Like this Stand is the manifestation of my fighting spirit. It's a feeling deep within me that I just know is right." Izuku said, turning to look at his Stand. It simply stared back at him, staying silent. A silent thump of a heartbeat could be heard by only him. He knew what it was.

It was the pulsing of his soul.

"If what your saying is true, Izuku, then why can't we see it?" Mitsuki asked, more out of wanting to know more about it than questioning the word of her little boy. Izuku knew that, and just shrugged at her.

"I'm not entirely sure yet. I just got it today. I'm still trying to figure out so much about my Stand, but I think if I have enough time, I know I'll be able to solve any questions I may have about it." Izuku said with conviction, slamming his fist into his hand. Mitsuki and Katsuki both giggled at his over the top attitude, but still couldn't deny the aspiring aura he gave off.

There was no denying that he would be the next number one Hero.

"But there is one thing that I'm still puzzled over." Izuku said after a moment, his face now set in a contemplative state.

At this point, they had all sat down in the living room and were facing the greenette.

"And what's that?" Katsuki asked. Izuku stood up and willed his stand to go out in front of him. He looked around before having his Stand face the direction of a stray orange that he assumed had been left out when they rushed to the candy shop. But the point wasn't about that. It was...

*VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMM*

"This." Izuku said, having his Stand swing it's right hand in front of it.

No sooner did his Stand's arm stop swiping, the orange on the countertop flew towards him before he had his Stand catch it...only for the plate it had been sitting on to come flying towards him too.

In a quick show of instincts and reflexes, Mitsuki had instantly grabbed his arm and pulled him towards her before the plate went flying past them. However, not wanting to have ruined one of his godmother's plates, he commanded his stand to grab that as well. As soon as everyone knew that nobody was going to get hurt, Mitsuki let go if Izuku.

"That's...Izuku, what was that?" Katsuki asked, staring at the plate and orange that were seemingly floating in the air. Izuku stared at the objects that were being held by his Stand and just sighed.

"That's the thing. I'm not entirely sure what it's doing. All I have it do is swipe it's arm and this strange bubble of what I think is compressed air drags behind it's hand like it's the source of it, and things just get dragged towards me. It might be just pulling on the air so that things get launched towards me, but that doesn't explain the slight bending of light that I see happens. It could also be the manipulation of gravity to achieve the same thing, and that would explain the fluxuation of light." Izuku stated, pacing around the room while simultaneously glancing towards the fruit that was now on the table every few moments.

"Izuku, I think you're tired. It's been a long day. You should get some rest. The both of you. Come on, I'm sure we can figure this all out in the morning." Mitsuki stated as she saw her children with droopy eyes. Katsuki simply yawned before nodding.

"Okay mom." Katsuki yawned out, already walking over to her and Izuku's room. Of course, lately, Izuku had been sleeping in one of the other guest rooms for...obvious reasons, but now, Mitsuki figured that he would go back to sleeping in his own bed now.

"Maybe you're right. I think a good night's rest would be good right about now." Izuku said as he rubbed his eyes. Mitsuki smiled before leading him to his room. They could afford skipping a night of brushing teeth, she supposed.

As both children were laying in bed and tucked in, she placed a kiss on Katsuki's forehead, seeing that she was already fast asleep. She smiled before moving to Izuku, who was just now drifting to sleep.

"Goodnight, my little Cinnamon Bun." Mitsuki whispered as she placed a kiss on top of his head. Izuku smiled, closing his eyes and resting his head fully onto the pillow.

"I love you...mom." Izuku whispered back, falling asleep peacefully. It caused Mitsuki to become shocked for a moment before smiling even wider. Tears formed in her eyes when she quickly wiped them away. The mother then stood back up before walking out of the room and closing the door behind her.

Mitsuki then went about her normal routine of checking around the house and making sure all the doors were locked, the windows shut, and the security system up and running. It was more for her own peace of mind than any paranoia. But the only thing that was different this time, was the fact that her smile just refused to leave her face. Sure, whenever her own daughter said she loved her, she still smiled, of course. There's no denying the fact that she lved her daughter to death, but for Izuku to call her mom...after everything that's happened to him and his actual mother...

"I promise never to let you down. You'll always be my little Cinnamon Bun." Mitsuki said as she finally finished her routine. She was in her nightwear, and laying down to sleep. Whatever Izuku needed to talk about, she would try to help him in whatever way she can.

Because that is what a mother is supposed to do for her child.

Izuku, not long after Mitsuki left, had started moving around in his sleep. His face went from a peaceful slumber to a discomforted sleep. His mind, currently, was wracking itself with turmoil. His mind giving him terrifying and ominous visions.

Izuku slowly woke up, seeing nothing but darkness, yet his vision completely vivid. His vision somehow being blurry. His senses being numbed to himself, but also hyperactive. His mind clear, but cloudy.

"What in the..." Izuku voiced. Though, he was not completely convinced that he was really the one that spoke. He knew that it was him, and he could feel that he was the only one there...wait, no. There was someone else. A light, with someone in front of it. They were...calling to him.

"Izuku...Izuku..." The voice called. Izuku tried to make out what else they were saying, but he just couldn't focus enough to do it. It was only warbled and bits and pieces of speach.

"I'm sorry...-you-...-killed-...-your-...mo-...-loved ones-...-fail-...DIE..." The voice called again, it's voice becoming more and more warped and distorted until it was completely incomprehensible. He tried to get closer, but every 'step' he took would further the distance between them more and more. It was as the light was almost completely out of sight when he somehow caught a glimpse of the figure's hair, his eyes widened.

"Is that...!" He tried to say, before his vision suddenly snapped open as if he had been asleep the whole time.

As his eyes snapped open, he suddenly felt a liquid envelop him, his entire body seemingly enveloped in water. But his whole body felt like molten metal coursed through his veins. He couldn't move a single muscle. His eyes darted every which way to figure out what was going on, but found nothing. Eventually, he found that his lungs started to burn, his oxygen running out. He wanted to do something, anything. Even scream, but he couldn't feel his own jaw, let alone open it. As his vision started to fade, he saw a dark figure reaching it's hand over his face, two glowing eyes piercing into his soul.

Just as he let himself go, he suddenly felt a jolt go up his spine, his vision snapping back to life again. this time, he was met with a night sky, covered in dark clouds and black smoke. Soot and ashes falling to the ground around him. He took a deep breath, not caring that he inhaled some of the ashes and that his throat burned with the sensation. He took a few more deep breaths before he realized that his body felt locked up. He couldn't move a single muscle. Everything felt like it had locked in place. He looked around with his eyes and saw something amazing.

'All Might?' Izuku thought, seeing that the number one hero was standing there, his back to him. He couldn't make sense of anything though. hy was everything burning? Why wasn't All Might doing anything? There might be people that need to be saved! And the fires need to be put out!

With all of his might, Izuku was able to move his arm to grab the ground under him. No sooner did he do this did an indescribable pain tear through his body. Even worse than before when he was drowning. It felt like every bone in that arm had shattered. That all the muscles up to his shoulder had been torn to shreds. All he could do was let out a suppressed scream before taking even more deep breaths. He looked towards All Might once again before resolving himself and attempting to move again.

Every leg moved was torture, each nudge of his spine was hell and any adjustment of his body was endless suffering. But he made his way over to his idol, hoping to get his help. Hoping to make sense of any of this! But when he was finally able to drag himself over to the Hero and tried to grab his attention by nudging his leg, his figure quickly faded away, revealing that it had just been an illusion.

'W-what? Where did he go? All Might? I'm scared. All Might...' Izuku thought, feeling tears start to well up. He was so lost. He didn't know what was happening. He didn't know what to do. He was in so much pain...

"Izuku." Another voice suddenly spoke up. This one he recognized immediately. He turned his head to the voice, not even caring that it hurt like he were snapping his own neck.

There in front of him was his father. Only...

"Papa?" Izuku finally spoke. Never mind how mind-numbingly painful it was to do that, he was distracted by the condition of his father.

Yagi Toshinori was standing before his son, looking as if he were on death's door. He looked sickly and thin. His skin clinging to his skeleton. His clothes were in rags. hanging off his body. The injury that he last saw him have still fresh and leaking blood that he shouldn't have had to shed.

"I'm...sorry. My so-" Before Toshinori could finish his sentence, there was a sudden rush of fire that completely enveloped him and incinerated him instantly. Izuku looked on in horror as he saw the flames rage on, their coloration changing to a dark violet purple. The inferno started to shift into an upward spiral, all leading to a shadowed figure. Smiling down at his form, his eyes nearly glowing with power. The figure then started cackling as the flames slowly surrounded the small boy.

Izuku started hyperventilating, seeing that the fire was swirling around his body, closing in on him. As the flames started eating away at his body, he suddenly looked up to see that same shadowed figure, still cackling as he stood over him. Suddenly, the figure lashed out, a wall of flames enveloping the both of them.

Izuku shot up with a start. He was sweating from every poor and shaking like a leaf. His eyes were wide and alert, looking around and looking down at himself. His shirt was soaked and his hair was sticking to his forehead from the sweat. He took a few shaky breaths before trying to steady himself. He looked over to Katsuki, who was still sleeping soundly. He stared at her for a few moments before turning back to the wall opposite of him, wrapping his arms around himself. His throat felt dry and he was freezing. He realized that the room was still dark and that there was no light coming from the window and went to check the digital clock that was on the drawer that stood between his bed and Katsuki's.

5:17 a.m.

He swallowed a bit before nodding to himself.

'It's only a few minutes before we have to wake up for training. I'll just...take a shower.' Izuku thought to himself as he removed the blankets from himself. He swung his legs over the edge before slipping on his All Might slippers. He lightly flinched when he saw them, remembering the nightmare, but quickly shook it off before he started gathering his shower utilities and clothes. He did all of this quietly before moving out of the room. Once he closed the door, he noticed noise coming from the kitchen and felt fear grip him before he realized that it must have just been Mitsuki preparing breakfast for when he and Katsuki had to get up. At that, he smiled. He truly appreciated his Go-chan, and he really did love her like a mother. Even if his own couldn't be there right now, he couldn't see a reason why he can't love two mothers. It would be like having an in-law.

He entered the restroom before he started undressing in front of the prewashing stool, looking at the body mirror that stared back at him. When he was done, he just stared at the various small scars that littered his body. And the few big ones that were left by his...by Hisashi. He saw the cuts that were caused by being thrown into other objects and having the skin tear open. One particular scar made him feel phantom pains. It was one that ran from the right side of his back to the front of his stomach. It was caused by his father accidentally kicking him hard enough that he slammed through a glass door. He landed on one of the larger shards and it dragged across his side. He was lucky enough that the shard didn't cut too deep. His father knew that a gash like that was going to need medical attention, but he didn't want to brink him to a hospital. More than likely so that there was no risk of his abuse being made public. So he took a glass shard, used his Quirk, and...

His father made sure to stuff his mouth with cloth so that his screams wouldn't be heard. When the neighbors came around to question what the crashing sound was, Hisashi lied and told them that he had been mopping the floor when 'his little Izuku' ran by, slipped and crashed through the door. When asked if he was okay, he casually waved them off and said that he was fine.

"Why didn't I tell anyone?" Izuku asked himself as he stared at his reflection. It was then that he felt another phantom pain. This one originating from the burn scar over his left pectoral. Looking at it now, it wasn't as small as he thought it was. Though, his view of it before might have had something to do with the fact that he thought of all his problems as small in comparison to everything else. The scar itself was caused by his father when he wanted to 'strike fear into his heart'. It nearly enveloped his left pectoral, actually. It was mostly faded and seemed to be shrinking, but Izuku knew better.

He had no idea what or how his father did it, but every so often, whenever he grew enough so that the scar tissue would shrink on his body, he would wake up one day to see that it had somehow adjusted itself to be in proportion to his body. The only thing that he knew was different about the scar that he was given, was the fact that when his father burned him, the flames were a darker color than normal, and that the burning didn't feel like it was just eating at his skin, but it was also scarring his soul...

"Fear. Right." Izuku told himself as he finished washing himself and got into the shower. He feared Hisashi like death itself. Mostly for the fact that he always felt so powerless whenever he was around the man before. That he couldn't do a thing to fight back. That even if he ran away and tried to get help, Hisashi would find him and destroy any little sliver of hope he had.

"I need to stop thinking about this." Izuku said to himself as he continued to wash himself, just focusing on cleaning himself.

After getting cleaned up and exiting the restroom fully clothed and with his dirty clothes in the hamper, he made sure to try and hide anything that might tell of his nightmare. He sighed and smiled as Katsuki passed him, barely registering him as she dragged her feet across the floor and into the restroom. As he walked and went into the living room and saw Mitsuki in the kitchen, he gave a small smile.

"Good morning Go-chan." Izuku greeted, making the woman turn to him with a smile of her own, a mug of coffee in her hand.

"Good morning Izuku. I see you woke up early. Did you have a good sleep last night?" She asked before taking a sip of her drink. While her eyes were obstructed with the mug, Izuku winced before quickly masking it.

"Slept great actually! I'm feeling great! Especially knowing that I was able to save that shop owner." Izuku said, sitting down at the table. Mitsuki slightly raised an eyebrow before she smiled again.

"Is that right? And how did you do that?" Mitsuki asked, pushing the hot and ready plate of breakfast to him. He gladly took the plate, pausing to recognize that she made an American breakfast. Mitsuki had recently started to experiment with different dishes of different regions and cultures. just last week she tried making a traditional Hungarian dish...

Key word being tried.

Other than that though, she's been doing pretty good. She's where he was currently learning to cook, actually.

"When the uh...assailant, tried to shoot him, I had my Stand pull him out of the way by doing that weird...shifting thing. And when he tried pointing the gun towards me, I had my Stand knock it and him away." Izuku summarized, thinking back to his time back in the shop. It was scary, to be sure, but when he realized that he had actually saved someone...He was almost ecstatic. Well, the only reason he says almost, is because he had a freaking gun in his face for crying out loud! He nearly soiled his pants!

.

..

...

Ahem.

"...Well, I for one am proud that you were able to save someone's life." Mitsuki said in a low tone, smiling at him and laying a hand on his shoulder.

Huh. He would have thought that she would freak out a bit more from the part that he had a gun pointed at-

"But that doesn't mean I'm not also worried sick about you! You had a GUN pointed at you!? Wait until I get my hands on that piece of filth! I'm gonna...gonna...RRGGGHHH!" Mitsuki raged, still keeping her tongue in check for the sake of Izuku. Izuku on his part just smiled a bit more genuinely, seeing that Mitsuki cared so much for him.

"It's alright. I'm okay now, right? And that guy's already in prison, so you don't have to worry. Besides, when I'm a Hero, I'm going to have to face villains and the like. It's going to have to be common place to put my life on the line for others." Izuku said as he finished his food and got up to wash his plate. Mitsuki paused for a moment before calming herself and kneeling down to pull him into a hug after he was finished cleaning.

"Still. You know me, Izuku. I'll always worry about your wellbeing. After all...a mother worries." Mitsuki whispered. Izuku still smiled al the same, and hugged her back.

"I know...mom." Izuku replied, burying his face into her shoulder. They stayed like that for a few moments more before they heard Katsuki come in with a confused expression.

"What did I miss?" Katsuki asked, looking at the two of them. They both looked to her before breaking off and waving her off.

"Nothing, Kacchan. Just some mushy stuff. You wouldn't like it." Izuku joked. Katsuki pouted at him, crossing her arms before letting out a huff.

"Hey! I can like mushy stuff! I watch it all the time with my shows!" Katsuki tried to argue. But Izuku just shook his head and started walking off, going to get a head start on his morning jog.

"See you out there, Kacchan!" Izuku called back as he closed the door behind him in the face of Katsuki. He knew he was going to pay for that one later,

"Worth it." He said to himself as he started his run. His mind went back to his nightmare from last night. Thinking about what it could all mean. All the bad omens that he saw. The stuff about his father...

But then he thought about all the good times that he's shared with Mitsuki and Katsuki. He just...

"Definitely worth it."
