Sorry for not updating this for over a year, but I'm here now, right? So without any further delay, let's get right to the story.

Being Quirkless was a little harder than Izuku had initially predicted. Especially since he didn't want to show off that he had his Stand. The reason behind this was mostly because he believed that having a power wasn't something that you flaunted for recognition or popularity. That wasn't what Heroes did. They used their powers when they needed to save the day, just like his Idol, All Might!

Still, the fact that he didn't show anyone else, bar Go-chan and Kacchan, had only worsened the bullying he received over time by his peers. Made him want to cry if he wanted to be honest. Heck, in most cases, he did. Though he made sure that no one was able to see him do so. Mostly out of habit when he used to live with Hisashi. The other reason was because a Hero was never meant to ever show weakness. Still, he always was a bit more sensitive to negative feedback than others. Kacchan at least tried to make him feel better. She was awesome like that. Go-chan as well. Always going out for mochi, or even new Hero merch every so often. It made him happy, even without the things she bought him. He appreciated everything they did for him. He hoped that after he became a Hero, that he would be able to pay them back somehow.

That wouldn't happen for a few years to come, however. As the entrance exam for U.A. could only be taken when one was seventeen. It used to be for those who were thirteen, but had changed on behalf of the principle's decree. It was received rather well by the rest of Japan, the parents at least. Those who had been hoping to apply the year before the decision were rather disappointed and upset. Still, the decision went without much complaint. So when Izuku had turned thirteen, he knew that he had more time to prepare himself for those exams.

A total of five years had passed since his father had been hospitalized by a villain attack. And things had been...not quite great, if he was being honest.

Don't get him wrong, he's been able to cope with the fact, but...still, he feared that his papa would end up like his mom. He had just gotten to know who his real dad was, and he had almost been taken away as well. Now, his father is hooked up to a bunch of machines most of the time and he is only able to visit every now and again. He had heard that half of his stomach had been torn out, along with a few other vital organs severely damaged. However, as luck would have it, they were lucky with some of the many surgeries they operated on him and were able to get all of the most important bits replaced or repaired. It wasn't at all perfect, and he would still need years to fully recover, but at least he still had that chance. Still, there was something that was nagging at him in the back of his mind, always shoving it's way to the forefront of his thoughts.

He wondered if his parents would have been happier if he hadn't been born. If everything would have been better if he hadn't existed. Everyone else in class kept telling him the same thing. Even when the teachers heard of these claims, they never did anything to keep the other kids from saying it. So he always wondered...

"Izuku! Come on! We have to go now, or else we'll be late to class again!" Katsuki called from deeper in the house. It effectively broke him from his thoughts as he put down the weights he had been lifting that morning. Neither he or Katsuki had stopped their training in the five years they had started. Mitsuki wouldn't allow it. For him, it made for a good way to vent out his feelings. Or even to keep himself busy so that he didn't feel that negativity in the first place. After all, a true Hero never felt sadness or fear. Always kept a smile on their face no matter how much pain they felt. Physical or otherwise.

"Coming!" Izuku called back, quickly putting on the black blazer for his school's uniform. He then looked to a body mirror that hung on the wall. The room being a home gym they had made out of one of the spare rooms of the house. He was already fairly tall for his age. Being five foot five, and showing no signs of slowing his growth. He was starting to look more like his dad. With his workout regime being as brutal as it was, he already looked to be like a muscular Olympic swimmer; lean and cut. He was aware that while he needed to be strong in order to be able to rescue people that needed it, he would not be able to overpower a villain who had a powerful Quirk. So he was going to build himself more on speed and endurance, so that he may outlast his opponent. Or, at least until he found a way to enhance or augment his own strength somehow. Either by training to do so or with the aid of support gear. Still, that did not mean that he was weak by any means. He simply did not try to make himself a body builder. More like a martial artist if he was going to be making an accurate comparison.

Speaking of, he had been studying on how to effectively subdue Villains on his own if he could not outright overpower them. He then came across a book on pressure points. Upon further research, he found a martial art that specializes in using these pressure points to defeat an opponent. It was rather old, however, as it depicted the human skeleton with both joints in it's small toe. But even then, it still proved useful to him. Invaluable even. He hadn't had a lot of practice on actual people, that being none at all, but he was beginning to understand the human anatomy to a degree that he could place markers on a dummy that would simulate actual people as he practiced on them. He hadn't quite perfected it yet, but he figured with enough practice he would be able to start sparring with Kacchan on equal footing. If she wasn't going all out from the beginning at least. Let alone all the other people he was going to be facing over in U.A.. Especially with the transfer students that were known to come over once a year for the Sports festival.

Which brought him to his other topic of study. Language. More specifically, foreign languages. If he wanted to be a Hero to everyone, then he was going to be traveling the world in order to do so. That would mean learning the different languages of the globe in order to really communicate with their governments and effectively do his job at saving people. After all, one of a Hero's greatest tools is communication. If a Hero couldn't understand the situation because of a language barrier, then he'd be doing more harm than good.

So far, he's learned English, being that the U.S and European nations speak that language the most. He's also learned French if ever the need arose when he eventually explored Canada, a primarily French speaking country. Or even France itself. He's also recently learned Spanish, for the South Americas and Spain. Of course, he would still need to learn Hindustani in the future, Along with Arabic, Malay, Russian, Bengali and Portuguese. Just to name a few. He knew full well that he may not be able to learn all of them in the next four years, or even if he would learn them at all. He still needed to learn all the regional dialect of the languages he already knew after all. Hopefully, with enough self practice and maybe a few pen pals, he'd be able to fully master these languages.

He took himself out of his own musings before taking his school bag and heading out the door with Katsuki.

"We're still going to be late." Katsuki said as they walked down the road to their school. She was right. At this rate, even if they ran they wouldn't make it in time before the first bell rang. Izuku frowned at this. He himself wasn't going to get in much trouble. Seeing as no one really cared if he attended or not, but he worried about Katsuki being late. She was a great student, all things considered. She was smart, like him. Though, most would point out that she was rather prideful in her abilities, and would state so with utmost confidence. He sighed before nodding, picking up his pace from a leisurely stroll to a faster than average walk. He didn't rush himself, seeing as he knew it wouldn't matter if they dragged their feet or not.

"I-I'm sorry Kacchan. I got so carried away with training that I lost track of time." Izuku apologized, looking away in embarrassment. Katsuki just looked at him with a carefree smile. She wasn't really upset at the fact, she just wanted to let him know so that she could try to convince him to use his Stand and use it's special ability to get them there.

"Don't worry about it! But if you really want to be sorry, how about we just teleport our way to school?" Katsuki proposed, making Izuku squirm a little. Yes, the ability of his Stand. It took a while for him to really understand what it did, but he got down to it eventually. It happened a month or two after the event in the candy shop. He had been lording over what it could have possibly been that the Stand was doing to pull things towards himself like it did. He ruled out that it created an invisible tether to an object, as it pulled on air as well. It wasn't that it altered gravity to bring things closer, he'd have felt the inertia. Not to mention the fluids in his ears would have shifted and made him feel nauseous like anti-gravity chambers often did with those who were not trained for it. So he puzzled. He puzzled, and he puzzled until his puzzler was sore.

Then one day, the realization came to him. An awful, horrifying realization.

It Erased matter.

There was no other way to put it. One afternoon, while he was playing with a rubber ball in his small enclave, he had thrown it a little too hard and it came bouncing back at a high velocity, aimed directly at his face. But when he raised his arm to protect himself, his Stand came in to defend him from the danger, as he called upon it on instinct whenever he was frightened. Only this time, It hadn't raised it's arms in defense like it normally did. It instead swiped with it's left hand, that same bubble and pocket of distorted air trailing behind. He saw between his fingers, as the ball was encompassed by the distorted space, and the Stand closed it's fist, severing the connection between it and it's trail. The bubble suddenly collapsed upon itself and vanished, as did the ball. He had been confused as to what it had done. Had it simply smacked it so hard that it seemed to teleport? If so, then why was there no resounding boom that would entail that it had gone to such a speed?

So he investigated further. He took a pencil and tossed it into the air before commanding his Stand to swipe at it as it had with the ball. It had yielded the same results. With the pencil seemingly disappearing. He did this again and again, all with the same conclusion. He had to take a moment to really let that sink in, before he turned to a busted up speaker in the corner of his hideout. It was too big for him to carry out then, so he just allowed it to stay. But with this new information, he decided to test what happened when he swiped at something that was too big to erase completely. Once he did, he saw that the two sides that hadn't been erased had slammed together and stitched themselves to look like it had been made without the middle component.

Immediately, he went home and told both Mitsuki and Katsuki about the development. When he brought them back to his personal Safe Haven and showed them the stereo, they had been shocked to find out the extent of his Stand's powers. Katsuki was thrilled and excited that he had a powerful ability and stated that he'd be able to remove rubble and falling debris to rescue people. To which he readily agreed. It would absolutely be able to get people out of harms way by pulling them towards him with the ability, or to simply destroy the hazardous objects that threatened to harm them.

But much like with the Pro Hero Thirteen's Quirk, there was a terrifying risk that came along with a power such as this.

If he tried to erase something like a large chunk of concrete that hung between two large structures, it could become unstable and fall, potentially killing the people he's trying to rescue. Or even worse yet, if he accidentally swiped at a person...

He shook his head as he continued on with his walk. Even if that were true, he didn't let it stop him from wanting to learn everything about his Stand's powers. If only to make sure that he never slipped up and hurt anyone. He trained with it as much as he could in his free time. He learned exactly what the range of his erasing was, and how much it could erase at a time. He also figured out that so long as his Stand didn't sever the bubble, whatever was caught inside of it would be suspended in air, effectively creating a shield of sorts. He also learned that if he were to jump and swipe while still in the air, he would 'teleport' and move forward with increasing velocity instead of things coming toward him.

"Sorry Kacchan, but I don't think that's a good Idea. I still don't know if we'd both be able to teleport, or if I'd be the only one to move. Besides, walking lets me work on my grip strength for longer." Izuku stated, raising his arm to show that he was holding the aforementioned device. It was like he said, he had to train harder than everyone else if he wanted to become a hero like the rest of them. Even if he had a Stand, he still needed to train like he didn't. Besides, it would only help in his goal to become the next Number One Hero.

"Aw, come on. We can at least try it. Think of it like one of your tests!" Katsuki tried to bargain. She always wondered what it would be like to fly. What better way than to try it out with her brother? Of course, she was almost there on her own with her own Quirk. A simple application of consecutive explosions would, theoretically, allow her flight. She almost had it, but her timing was just a tiny bit off. Instead of a controlled flight, she usually was sent careening into a wall. Or through the roof. Sometimes even both.

"Nuh-uh. I don't want to risk it. Besides, people might see..." Izuku whispered, looking around. He had always been a bit self conscious about having this power. Katsuki couldn't understand why. She would gladly show off her Quirk and let everyone know that she was strong. Of course, Izuku was strong as well. The one time she tried to surprise him with an on the spot wrestling match, he had been able to summon his stand with lightning speed and deck her across the nose. Of course, that's what he had explained after apologizing extensively. She couldn't see the damn thing. Which made his power even more awesome! A power like that, where you couldn't even see it? Amazing! You wouldn't even know where to block! And if that one time she had tried to poor water over it as he tested it's erasing ability was any indication, there was no way to make it visible to the naked eye.

Awesome!

"So what? If it means that those bastards will stop calling you names, then why wouldn't you want them to see?" Katsuki asked, a carefree smile on her face. Izuku gave a weak smile in return before turning away with a sad look on his face. That's all she saw nowadays. Simple name calling.

Ever since that day when Katsuki had caught that kid that had kicked him, the other kids had wizened up. They only hurt him when she wasn't looking, and where she wouldn't find the evidence. It didn't help that Izuku didn't like showing his body. Whether it was for swimming, or even just for laundry day. Mitsuki figured it was because of his scars, and what Hisashi had done to him. Either way, Much like the older Midoriya had done, the kids had only stuck his abdomen and stomach.

With him being used to such abuse, albeit on a much more intense and graphic scale, he thought nothing of it. He had only known those that hurt him physically. With Go-chan and Kacchan being the only exceptions to this. He subconsciously hid it as well. He felt ashamed of himself. Feeling like he needed to hide his problems, if only to not be more of a bother than he already was. They didn't deserve to be unhappy because of him. He already caused his own mother so much pain. His father too. Deep down, he feared that with every happy moment he had, he would experience an equally as horrible one soon after. Cherophobia, as it were.

"We're here Kacchan." Izuku said, breaking her out of her conversation about her latest outing with her groupies. Those guys were nice enough...to her face. They were actually the ones that caused him the most grievances, in all honesty. He would tell her...but he didn't. Mostly because she believed them to be her friends. He wouldn't want to ruin that for her. Not for his sake. So he let it go, being with the hurtful words they would throw at him. And the even more hurtful punches they would throw as well.

"Oh, cool! Let's go." Katsuki implored, opening the door to their classroom. Immediately, the teacher stopped what he was doing and turned to the two that had interrupted his class. Of course, that was until he saw Katsuki. He lightened up and smiled at the teen.

"Ah, Bakugo. How nice of you to join us. Please, have a seat." The teacher greeted. Katsuki simply shrugged before moving to her seat. The teacher then turned to Izuku, gaining a dark glare.

"Yagi, I will not tolerate tardiness in this class. You are to report to detention during the break period." He said, making Izuku lower his head before nodding. Katsuki was already talking to her ring of friends, and didn't hear them. The green haired boy slinked over to his desk before bringing out all of his studying equipment. Along with his Hero, Stand and Quirk Theory Notebooks. He thought about bringing out his Human Anatomy textbook and Martial Arts research, but thought against it. Now probably wasn't the best time to look at those.

Going through the day like normal, that being just taking notes subconsciously of the class to look over for later while he focused on his own notes on Quirks. Silently being grateful that he was ambidextrous, he thought about how many notebooks he's made. So far, he was on notebook number thirteen. Each one filled to the brim with entries on Heroes, how their Quirks work, how they've used them, what their strengths and weaknesses are, what they'd best be able to do in certain situations, and theories on what else they'd be able to do with their Quirks. All accompanied by a very well drawn and composed full body portrait of the Hero in subject.

It payed off to study the Human anatomy as much as he had.

Today had been about the Hero that made their debut today. Mount Lady he believed. Full Body Gigantification Quirk. He wondered if she was able to control how large she grew, or if it was only a giant. He'd have to look through footage to see just how tall she could get. For now however, he was focused on what she'd be able to do with her Quirk. Like how much does her size affect her physical capabilities? Does it simply scale her strength to her size? Or does it increase exponentially? If so, how does she control the amount of strength she outputs?

"Yagi." The teacher called out, making him look up from his vigorous note taking. He saw that the rest of the class was snickering at him, with the teacher looking at him with an annoyed expression. He shriveled up on himself, feeling sheepish with all the attention on him. What did he do wrong this time?

"Y-Yes, Sensei?" He asked quietly. He felt himself shrivel just a bit more when his voice cracked, but still looked to the irate teacher. The man with a receding hairline scowled lightly before scoffing.

"Pay attention while you are in my class. Do you wish to have after school detention as well?" He threatened. Izuku shook his head lightly, nearly to tears as he heard more jeers from the classmates around him.

"N-n-no, Sensei." He replied meekly. The teacher seemed more angered by his response, not liking how he was making more of a disruption in his class.

"What was that? Speak up." The man commanded. Izuku had to stop himself from crying as he chocked out his answer again.

"No, S-Sensei." He croaked. Their instructor was going to berate him further, but Katsuki came in, having had enough of this baseless harassment of her friend.

"Hey! Quit it! He already answered you, so back off!" She yelled, glaring at the teacher. The man himself seemed surprised that Katsuki jumped in, but relented for now. He still had the lesson to teach after all. The other students were still laughing at Izuku's expense, so she decided to end that as well.

"What are you all laughing at!?" She roared. It shut them up quick enough. She huffed before sitting back in her seat, giving Izuku a worried glance before turning to her notebook again. She worried about him here. She knew that he was still being bullied a little here. That the rest of them kept calling him names and stuff. She just hoped that he would stand up to them soon. She couldn't keep fighting his battles forever. Not if he wanted to be the best Hero in the world. Maybe after they got home they'd be able to talk about it. If she was lucky, she'd be able to convince him to finally spar with her. He'd been holding off on that for the sole reason being that he didn't think he was ready yet. She understood, if only partially. There was only so far someone could get by training by themselves. He needed someone else to train with in order to advance any further. She was starting to hit that wall herself, if she was being honest. So she figured that it was about time that she started to push him into sparring with her.

As the day progressed, with Izuku serving his detention with sad acceptance, he was at least grateful that he didn't have to deal with any of the other kids that usually picked on him during this time. Silver lining...

He carried on, sneakily working on his biceps as he took further notes in his notebook. This time, he worked on his fighting style and how he needed to incorporate his Stand into combat. It should be rather easy, but so far it's taken a lot more focus to command it to do the precise movements needed for such a martial art. It was like trying to control two bodies at once. Doing it's simple swipe was easy enough, just swiping his own arm was the easiest way to do that. But with an actual fighting style, he would need it to contort it's entire body to get the utmost effectiveness of it's strikes. Added to the fact that he needed it to move completely different than his own for the maximum efficiency, was a daunting task. One that he had been stuck on for months now with no progress. Either he would accidentally make it move in tune with his own, defeating the purpose, go into a thoughtless flurry of punches, or he would lose focus and cause the Stand to vanish altogether. It was just...it seemed impossible to overcome. Like the rest of his peers had been right. That he would never be able to train enough to be a Hero.

The last class they had didn't really register to him. He just took notes on autopilot like he normally did. Trying to ignore the spitwad or two that landed in his hair. He'd have to wash that out later. Oh, it wasn't a spitwad? Must be gum then. No big deal. He'd just have to get some scissors and cut it out. That's fine.

"Now we all know that being this young, you can't apply to any real jobs yet, but we still need you to start making decisions about what you want to do with your lives. So that we can appropriately start teaching you skills that will benefit you in that field. Like if any of you want to become doctors, engineers, lawyers..." Their teacher trailed off looking down at the various papers that they all had to fill out a week ago, saying what they wished to be. He smirked, however, as the class started to openly portray their Quirks, the papers saying one thing about their desired profession.

"But of course all of you want to be Heroes!" He laughed, throwing the papers in the air and smiling. His entire class now shouting their approval and yelling what their Hero names would be. Katsuki being the loudest.

"Yeah! I'm aiming for the Number One spot! I'll even be better than All Might!" The explosive girl claimed, two loud booms accompanying the usage of her Quirk between her fingers. The rest of the class cheered for her, complimenting her on her powerful Quirk. She really was far stronger than anyone in this class. Especially that Quirkless nobody...

"Hm? It seems that you wish to apply to U.A. as well, Yagi?" The older man up front voiced out loud, looking down at one of the papers that had landed on his desk. Immediately, the rest of the class quieted down, turning to the freckled teen. Izuku once again started to shrivel up on himself, covering as much of his head as possible with his arms. In a matter of seconds, the entire classroom burst into laughter.

"Bahahahaha! Deku!? Trying to apply to U.A.!?"

"How pathetic!"

"What? Is he trying to apply to the General Studies class? Like all the other nobodies!?"

"Aw look! He's crying!"

Indeed, Izuku was crying. He just stared down at his desk, where his latest notebook on Heroes lay. It's pages beginning to dampen with fallen tears. He just wondered to himself, why? Why after working so hard to build his defenses, did his body now decide to openly cry? Why did his existence mean less than another's because he had no Quirk? Why did everyone hate him?

Why was he born?

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY ABOUT IZUKU!?" Katsuki bellowed, having enough of everyone's belittling of her brother. They were never this bad. She hadn't seen them act like this since that day when she nearly beat the crap out of the kid that tried burning Izuku with his Quirk. Speaking of which however, she saw that same kid, who was always butting heads with her nowadays, had walked next to the young Yagi child and looked at her smugly.

"Katsuki, come on. Even you know that Deku can't be a Hero. He doesn't even have a Quirk! He just fools himself into thinking he can with these stupid notebooks." The kid, Michael his name was, said as he snatched the beforementioned notebook from 'Deku'. He looked at it, flipping through the pages and feeling amused by each and every one. Katsuki was now snarling, barring her teeth and readying her palms to blast this asshole to next week. She knew how important those notebooks were to him. How much work he's put into each and every entry within those pages. That one alone held month's worth of studying and research. How he would stay up late at night going over everything he's written in there and made corrections where he felt were needed.

"Put. It. Down." Katsuki demanded, giving Michael her most heated glare. The teen, having felt that he had taken her shit for far too long, did not care. His Quirk was powerful enough. He could superheat his limbs to beyond burning temperatures, with the only drawback being that he would feel a little dehydrated by the end of it. Far better than that worthless Deku.

"Or what? You aren't the supreme power here, Kacchan. This isn't even yours to take back. If he wants it back, then he'll have to take it from me himself. He'd only be able to do that, with his own Quirk." Michael stated, his grin only further angering the Bakugo girl. She was about to lunge at him, but his next words stopped her in her tracks.

"I mean really, the only hope for a nobody like him is to jump off a bridge and hope for a Quirk in the next life. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, don't you think, Deku?" Michael stated, leaning over the boy. Izuku didn't say anything, just silently sobbed. He didn't want to be here. He just wanted to run away. To make the pain go away. To...

"I thought so. In that case, I guess you wont be needing this then." The bully stated, superheating his hand, causing the book he held to be lit aflame. Izuku looked up to see that one of the only things that he enjoyed doing was now being destroyed. He only had to look at it for a brief moment as Michael then chucked it through the open window and into the Koi pond below. He sat there, feeling numb. Even as the other kids started laughing even harder. Even when he noted that the teacher had done nothing, seemingly ignoring what was being said and done. He just felt...dead.

Without another word, he quickly got up from his seat and headed for the door, not even noticing that the bell had rung signaling the end of the school day. He ran through the door and just kept running. He didn't look back, just kept running.

Katsuki had been shocked to her core when Michael had suggested that Izuku should go kill himself. She was further shocked when he had burned Izuku's Hero Notebook and tossed it out the window. She just...he...

She was about to go nuclear, when she saw Izuku bolt out of the room. She stared after him as he left, leaving all of his stuff behind. She stared at Michael one last time before she snarled, grabbed both her and Izuku's things and left to go chase after him. She looked around, trying to see if he was still on school grounds, but found no trace. She then found herself in front of the Koi pond that the notebook landed in, seeing that the fish had started nibbling on the bindings. She quickly reached in and snatched the book from the waters and looked down in worry. The covers were charred. She could barely make out the '#13' part of the title. She opened the book, only to see that the pages had been turned to mush.

She stared down at it. Each of these notebooks meant the world to Izuku. So to see that one of them had been ruined, It broke her heart. It hurt so much more when she remembered that Izuku was out there somewhere, having run off. It reminded her of the last time Izuku had run out of the house. He had nearly gotten himself killed. No common thug was a match for him now at least. But...

'I mean really, the only hope for a nobody like him is to jump off a bridge and hope for a Quirk in the next life.'

That bastard. He put that into his head. But there was no way he'd actually do it.

Right?

She immediately ran to go look for him again. She pulled out her phone, dialing home. After a few rings, her mother picked up.

"Hey Katsuki, is school done? You want me to pick you and Izuku up? I can be there in a few-" Mitsuki started, but was interrupted by her daughter's cry.

"Mom! Izuku ran off into the city! I don't know where he is. A bunch of kids were making fun of him, They were being really mean! One of them even told him to go and...and..." Katsuki trailed off, not wanting to finish her sentence. How could someone even say that to another person? It was horrible!

"...I'll be right there." Mitsuki said in a serious tone. She filled in the sentence her daughter started. She grabbed her keys and ran out the door, intent on finding her boy and making sure that he was okay. Calling the police was going to take too long. Right now was prime Villain attack hour, so they'd be stretched thin. Anyone who needed their services would either have to wait for the police to be available again, or get lucky and run across a Hero that wasn't busy. To say that the justice and Hero systems were flawed was an understatement. Besides, when Izuku didn't want to be found, he wouldn't be found until he wanted you to find him.

Revving up her car and making tracks, she sped her way over to the downtown shopping district. It was where he liked going to clear his head whenever he felt troubled, or needed to think on a deep question he couldn't find an answer to easily. A strange place to do those things, but strange or no, she needed to find him. She trusted that he wouldn't actually hurt himself, but he needed her to comfort him and tell him that it was going to be alright. For as strong willed as Izuku could be, he really was sensitive with his emotions.

He always tries to hide his sadness from her and Katsuki, but she could see right through it. Mitsuki doesn't know why he feels the need to internalize his own problems when it could easily be solved by asking her for help. He only ever denies her claims whenever she tries to bring it up, so she wasn't getting anywhere that way. She worried for her little Cinnamon Roll. Especially at a time where his hormones are starting to go crazy, he'll feel so lost, confused, scared, angry...

She needed to find him. Now.

"Katsuki, go to the shopping district and try to find him. I'm already heading there now. If you see him, call me first and tell me where you are before trying to talk him down, okay?" Mitsuki talked into her phone. She only heard a confirmation on the other end before her daughter hung up. She didn't think that this day would end up like this. Her little Cinnamon Roll was finally starting to stabilize enough so that she could try and guide him naturally through the rest of his life. Now some little shit had the nerve to tell her son to go off himself!? She swore that if anything were to happen to Izuku, she WILL find a way to pursue legal action!

"Don't worry, Izuku. Go-chan's coming for you." Mitsuki said to herself as she drove towards the shopping district.

Izuku was walking down an empty street, shambling his way forward after he didn't have it in him to run any farther. He had opted to take a longer way home, as he simply wished to think to himself for a while. He was just so tired of having everyone bully him so much. The teachers were doing nothing to stop him, and he didn't want to hurt any of them. That would only land him in even more trouble. Plus, he shouldn't even be this bothered by their words. He needed to be tougher than that if he wanted to be a great Hero.

"J-Just like All Might." Izuku said to himself, moving forward and through the underpass of a bridge. He never noticed the manhole behind him move, revealing a sludge-like monster crawl out from it and look around. It layed one of it's yellow, bloodshot eyes on him before letting out a low gurgling chuckle revealing it's rotten teeth.

"Great! A Skin Suit to hide from that bastard!" It snarled as it dashed towards the green haired teen.

Izuku turned around to see what that noise was, and saw a large mass of what seemed to be sewage make it's way towards him, it's tendril like arms outstretched and ready to grab him. His eyes widened before he quickly jumped back just in time to dodge it. He was surprised at his own speed before he once again had to move in order to prevent being absorbed into the mass of sludge.

"Stop moving around! I need to hide before he shows up again!" The Villain stated as it moved faster and faster to capture it's target.

"Wh-What the!?" Izuku exclaimed as he tried turning around to run, only to notice that a small bit of the sludge was wrapped around his foot, tripping him. He hadn't even fell to the floor when even more of that sludge wrapped around his body and began to encompass him entirely. Some of it moving to force it's way into his mouth and nostrils. In a panic, he called his stand to start shoveling the sludge off of him.

"No use trying to resist, kid. Soon enough, it'll all be over." It stated, chuckling. Izuku squirmed and tried escaping, but found his struggles growing weaker and weaker. His Stand only doing so much, before it disappeared along with his focus. His vision was going dark, his senses fading.

'Maybe...this is for the best. Maybe everyone will be happier with me gone. I just hope mom and dad remember me. I don't care if they hate me. I just want to be remembered.' Izuku thought to himself as his eyelids began to close.

Suddenly, the same manhole from before flew off from it's cover, and out emerged a tall, muscular man with a hair style that was hard to miss. Their glowing green eyes fixating on the villain in front of him and smiling even broader, knowing that he had caught up to him after a long chase.

"I Am..." All Might began to say, however that look of triumph turned to worry as he realized that the villain was currently encompassing someone with it's mass. Not a second later, he saw exactly who that person was.

In an instant, the Number One Hero dropped the bags he had been carrying and was upon the Sludge Villain. He reared his fist back gathering enough strength to blow him to bits.

The Villain was only able to realize that All Might had found him before he violently exploded, leaving the boy he was assaulting to fall.

"Don't Worry. I've Got You." Was all that Izuku heard before he fell unconscious.

Soon enough, He came back too, and opened his eyes to see someone looking down at him worriedly and looking him over.

"Huh?" Izuku breathed out, his vision still a bit blurry. However, he was still able to see the relief wash over the other person's face as they beamed at him. Of course, now that his vision was coming back to him, he could see the glowing green eyes that seemed awfully familiar. And the two blonde peaks...and the smile...

"A-A-All M-Might!?" Izuku stammered as he hurriedly scooted back and sat up. His Idol was here! All Might was here! He saved him!

"Thank The Heavens. You Are Alright. I Was Worried That I Had Arrived Too Late." The Symbol of Peace said. Standing up fully, he showed that he was not in his usual costume, but was instead wearing civilian clothes.

Izuku took a few deep breaths before doing his best to calm his nerves.

"W-wow! It's really you! Thank you so much, All Might! I'm your biggest fan!" Izuku stammered, beaming up at the Number One Hero. The tall man looked down at him and gave his usual boisterous laughter. However, there was a hint of uneasiness to his facial features that he hoped the boy in front of him wouldn't catch on to.

"Of Course, Citizen! Anyone In Trouble Can Count On Me." All Might stated, posing so that his face was turned away, hiding the small amount of sweat that had accumulated on his brow.

'Oh no. It's him! Why did it have to be him!?' All Might thought to himself as the green haired boy began to ramble on about things that he had collected, or even about the various fights that he knew the Symbol of Peace had been a part of. Even the ones that hadn't even made it past the single issue of newspaper.

'Okay okay. Don't panic. Think this through. We can just tell him that we're on the trail of another Villain and that we have to go.' A second, more raspy voice of himself says. He looks down at the still muttering boy with conflict in his eyes.

'But this is my son! What was he doing out here!? Where is Mitsuki or young Bakugo!? I need to escort him home!' Toshinori argued. He went to gain Izuku's attention when the second voice spoke again.

'Are you nuts!? There's no reasoning that will excuse the Number One escorting a little boy home. People are going to make assumptions! Even if we tell them that we wanted to make sure that he was alright after the attack, it'll only make them more suspicious. Why escort this one child when we have neglected to do the same for countless others?' Yagi argued. It made the Hero stop again before sighing. When he was right, he was right. So he instead went to tell Izuku that he needed to go.

"Apologies, Citizen. But I Must Make My Leave! Villains Aren't Going To Stop Themselves." All Might stated, turning to leave. However, it was then that Izuku snapped out of his fanboying and realized just the kind of opportunity that was about to slip out of his hands.

"W-wait! All Might! I-I know that I've already bothered you for long enough, but If I can just you for a few more moments of your time, there's one question that I...need to ask you." Izuku requested. The sudden tone shift in his voice from excited to nervous and desperate hit the disguised father on a personal level.

"Er...Sure, Citizen! I Suppose I Could Spare A Minute More." All Might stated, turning back to the Stand user. Izuku widened his eyes a bit, a little surprised that his request was actually granted. He quickly took another breath before asking the question that he'd been asking for so long. Even when he'd been told by both Mitsuki, Katsuki and even his own father, he needed confirmation from the one Hero that he had looked up to for so long.

"Can...can I be a Hero, even if I don't have a Quirk?" Izuku began, keeping his eyes down on the ground. All Might's smile faltered, remembering all the times that his son had visited him in the hospital talking about how he had been progressing in his training and how he hoped that it was going to be enough to get into U.A..

Yagi had told him time and time again that he would absolutely be strong enough by the time that he would take the entrance exams, but he supposed that the boy still had his self doubts. He was going to tell him that he would absolutely be able to become a Hero and then be on his way, but the green haired boy continued talking.

"Before you try to say that it's dangerous, I just...I've been working so hard, training my heart out. But no matter how much I train, all the other kids keep telling me that I'll never do it. That a nobody like me...that a Deku like me could never be a Hero. Every day, I'm told that I'll never amount to anything, and that it would just be better if I were to just go away forever. That everyone would be happier if I were never born. All I ever wanted was to be a Hero. None of their punches or kicks ever hurt more than the thought of not being good enough to be able to save someone. So...even if I don't have a Quirk, even if I'm just a worthless nobody, even if all I do is make everyone around me miserable...can I be a Hero?" Izuku finished, never once looking up at his idol. His eyes streaming with tears, remembering all the beatings and abuse he went through for all this time.

Toshinori Yagi stood there, looking down at his son, seeing just how broken he had been made by the world around him. How just because of something he had no control over, he was considered less than human. But even so, he still wished to be a Hero and protect those same people that hurt him. The fact that he felt as though he was the reason for the misfortune of those around him...he's waited long enough. More than long enough. He had to curse himself for keeping him waiting this long in the first place. Putting his son through all that.

It was time to tell him the truth.

"Citizen, I Think My Answer Requires Us To Go Somewhere More Private. Hop Onto My Back." All Might said as he turned and squat down to allow the boy to do so. Izuku looked up at the man with some confusion, but figured that there was a reason to this and did as he asked, albeit awkwardly. He hadn't really done something like this before.

Soon enough, he was holding onto the blonde man's shoulders, with All Might tensing his legs for the leap he was going to take.

"Now Hold On Tight. We're Going Up."

With those words, they launched up into the sky at blinding speeds. Izuku had to tighten his grip on his Idol to not fly off. He let out a shout of shock, but was able to regain his bearings and notice that they were flying through the air, high above the city. It seemed almost beautiful. Hard to imagine that he could be allowed to live in such a place.

Only being able to take in the sights for a few more moments, Izuku found that they were set to land on the top of a building. Once they did, the boy was able to guess that he was to get off at this point. All Might stood back up, but kept his back to the green haired child for a moment.

"Young Man, You Asked Me If You Could Become A Hero, Even If You Didn't Have A Quirk." All Might started, still not facing his son. Izuku looked at him with eyes of hope and desperation. If there was one person that he looked up to the most, it was him.

The Hero thought on his next words carefully, as he knew revealing something like this was a delicate matter. Initially, he intended to reveal his secret to his son a year before the entrance exams for U.A., to make sure that Izuku's body was ready for the power of his Quirk. However, with what he heard just now...

He was a fool. He should be there for his son. He shouldn't be pretending to be unable to walk. He should have come home weeks ago. The doctors kept telling him that he would be fine so long as he didn't exert himself too much, but with his occupation, it was impossible. Even so, he was still healthy enough to keep up this form for long periods of time. If Recovery Girl hadn't gotten to him when she did, he'd more than likely only be able to go out for a few hours at a time. Three at most. Now he's able to stay in the form as long as he desired. The only draw back was that when he did revert back, he would have to wait until the next day to start his patrols again. Still, the fact that it took a chance encounter with his son and being told how he was being treated to do this, was unforgivable.

"It Is Irrelevant. After All, I've Already Answered Your Question A Long Time Ago." All Might said, beginning to let his form go.

"What do you..." Izuku asked, not understanding what the older man meant by that. As far as he knew, he hadn't talked to the Hero before now. And none of the questions or messages he left on the numerous sites for things like that hadn't been answered by the man himself, so he was confused.'

Of course, all of his speculations and thought processes stopped once he saw that his Idol had burst into a puff of smoke.

"All Might!" Izuku exclaimed, going to try and see if the Symbol of Peace was alright. However, as he took a few steps towards the man, he noticed that the smoke was clearing to reveal...

"W-wait...dad!?" The younger Yagi exclaimed, staring at the face of his father. Toshinori Yagi had seen better days, with his once tight fitting clothes looking a size too small for his frame. Other than the fact that his eyes looked a bit more sunken and his hair was a bit faded, he'd pass for a healthy man. If not on the older side. Still, the fact that he was here raised a number of questions...that were not processing, as Izuku's brain was trying to piece together what just happened.

"Hi, Izuku." Toshinori greeted with a smile. He then waited for the inevitable questions and outburst that he knew would come. After all, why wouldn't his son be angry at him. He lied about everything but the fact that he was his father. He wouldn't be surprised if he just turned and left him on this roof.

"Dad...you're..." Izuku started, his eyes widening. His brain was finally starting to put together the pieces. Or rather, put itself back together to process the fact that, his father was-

"You're All Might!" Izuku exclaimed with stars in his eyes. He was giving a gigawatt smile, the reveal that his father and the Symbol of Peace were one and the same was stupendous. He almost couldn't believe it! His dad was the Number One Hero!

"Y-yeah." Toshinori stuttered, not expecting his son to be so accepting of the situation. He thought that the boy was going to start yelling at him for not being there when he was clearly able. Or for not at least telling him why he didn't come home when he could. It...made him happy though. He helped bring this little ball of sunshine into the world, huh? He didn't deserve a kid like this, but he would be damned if he didn't try to be able to say he did.

"Izuku, please calm down. I brought you up here for a reason." Toshinori tried to calm his son, though it didn't seem to be that effective. Izuku was still pacing around the rooftop muttering and exclaiming about how it all made sense and that's why he would be away for hours at a time. Not to mention the fact that he was completely floored by the idea that his own father was the Number One Hero. That would have made him the son of the Number One Hero! He was just so-

"IZUKU!"

Oh, he mumbled all that out, didn't he?

"I know this is all a lot to take in, but please, I need you to focus right now. I have something very important to tell you." The older Yagi implored. At this Izuku finally stopped and gave his undivided attention to his father. The blonde let out a relieved sigh before addressing the biggest...second biggest concern he had.

"You're getting bullied at school?" The single dad asked. He probably should have seen it coming, but the way that his son had described it to him, it was as if they had been treating him as less than human. It worried him about if they really had started to physically abuse him as well.

Izuku's look of focus and bewilderment quickly receded, being replaced with a look of guilt and fear. He had forgotten that he had told his Idol about that earlier. He hadn't even thought that he would address the issue like this either. He was nervous to talk about this, even when he didn't know that All Might was his own dad. So now that he did know, it became exponentially harder as a result.

"U-u-ummm. Well, you see...I was just..." The teen stuttered, lowering his head and beginning to fold in on himself. The memories of Michael and his entourage harassing him, along with nearly everyone else. Not to mention all the teachers either turning a blind eye, or punishing him whenever he tried to so much as tall back. With everything he's learned, it must have obviously been his own fault. Otherwise, why else would they do all that? He was Quirkless after all. It wasn't a big deal. I-It's not like they...b-b-bothered him or anything...

"I was just overreacting. No one's doing anything to me. It's not like I can't handle it anyway. A Hero's always supposed to have a smile on their face, right? S-s-so...so I'm fine, see? I'm smiling! If I can't handle a little scuffle, then...then they're right. I d-d-don't deserve to li-" Izuku tried to muster out, tears already flowing down his face. A broken smile forced onto his features as he tried to reason away anything that might have happened to him. However, before he could get that last word out, Toshinori took him into his arms and brought him into a fierce hug.

"Don't you dare say another word. No one should be treating you like that. You are worth the world to me. Even if I had to reveal my identity to make sure you were safe, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Don't ever think that you're worth anything less." The older man said with conviction. His own eyes brimming with tears. He never should have stayed away from home. He should have gone back. He should have saved his son from all this pain. What kind of Hero was he?

The father lowered himself with his son to their knees as Izuku started crying into his shoulder. They stayed like that for a few minutes, the father comforting his child. Eventually, Toshinori spoke up with a soft voice.

"I love you, Izuku. You don't know just how much I do, but I will keep trying to show you and saying it until you do. You are all I have left of your mother. I'll be damned if I let anything else happen to you. So please, tell me what's happened while I was gone. It's the only way I can make sure that it never happens again." The Hero told his son.

Izuku only battled with himself for a moment before spilling his guts, telling his father of all the things that the other students did to him while the Hero was away, and why he hadn't told either Katsuki or Mitsuki about what he had been going through. The Yagi parent stayed silent through the whole thing, mentally taking note to make sure to investigate this school. Moving his son to another, better school a priority on his list as well.

"I'm so sorry...I'm sorry..." Izuku croaked out, clinging to his father with near desperation. The Blonde patted his son on the back, rubbing circled to try and comfort him as much as possible. The father was a little lost in what to do and say. The fact that he hadn't had much or any experience doing stuff like this, and his own anxieties getting the best of him, he didn't know if he could do this.

It didn't matter regardless, he ruled. If his son needed him, then he was going to be there for him, regardless of his inability, or his fear. He needed to make sure that his son knew that He Was Here.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, my son. You did nothing wrong. I'll make sure that none of that happens to you ever again. Now come on, I really did have something to tell you. It's related to my Quirk." The Hero stated, slowly picking them both up. He pulled back to see a confused Izuku looking up at him with a slight bit of curiosity.

"Your...Quirk?" Izuku asked, tilting his head to the side. It nearly made the older Yagi have a heart attack with how adorable his son could be at times, but he recollected himself and continued what he wanted to say.

"There's been a lot of speculation as to what it could be. Some stating Super Strength, Invulnerability, and even one saying that I was an Alien. Whenever I'm asked, I just laugh it off and divert from the question. The truth is, it was never my Quirk in the first place." The Hero revealed, making his son's eyes widen in shock after he processed the information.

"You mean..." Izuku started, still trying to understand what that meant, but getting the gist of it. His father nodded, going on to explain himself.

"My Quirk was passed on to me from my own mentor. It's known as One for All. It's a stockpiling Quirk that each wielder cultivates, makes stronger and passes on to another. Each user being stronger than the last. I am the eight wielder of this Quirk. It is the secret behind my ability to save everyone. It's name is One For All." All Might stated, looking down at his fist and clenching it a bit. Izuku in front of him seemed to contemplate on this for a moment, thinking that a Quirk like that hadn't been seen in all the years since Quirks first manifested. It almost sounded impossible to be able to bestow a Quirk onto someone else.

Then again, he had a Stand, and he was pretty sure that it wasn't a Quirk.

"Why are you telling me this, dad?" Izuku finally asked, looking up at his father. At this, Toshinori smiled a bit wider before grabbing his son by the shoulders.

"I am telling you this, my son, because I have decided that you are going to be my successor." The elder Yagi man revealed. With the fact that he could clearly see his son had been training diligently and working harder than he had seen any other, he was confident that Izuku was worthy of the torch.

Sir Nighteye was going to be pissed.

"M-Me? B-But why!?" Izuku exclaimed, shocked that he would be chosen as the successor to such a powerful Quirk. His father simply smiled down at him before explaining himself.

"Izuku, all that training I put you through, and all the training you have done for yourself had all been for a reason. You have gone above and beyond what anyone else thought you could. All of your sacrifices and hardships were leading you to this moment, my son. You are worthy of my power. It is yours to take. All you have to do is ask." The top Hero stated, looking expectedly at his son. Izuku on his part, seemed even more shocked. Him? Worthy of such a power?

Izuku really thought to himself. Could he in good conscious take that Quirk? He thought about all the training he's done, all the hard work, sweat, blood and tears he's put into trying to reach his dream. All the times he had been beaten up by his class mates. The verbal abuse he took from them. How he was never given a second glance by the teachers.

All the things that Hisashi had done to him.

He...he...

"I...I don't know. I don't..." Izuku stuttered, unsure of himself. He really did want to think that he could be worthy of this power, but another big part of him cast long shadows of doubt and hatred on himself for even thinking about it.

Toshinori nodded his head in understanding. This was a lot to poor onto someone at once.

"It's okay, Izuku. You don't have to answer immediately. But I can't wait forever. The longer you take to decide, the less time you have to train with it. It is a dangerous power for those who do not know how to use it properly. Now, how about we get down this building. You can head over to the shopping district. After I'm able to turn in the Villain, I'll head over and we can get some mochi. Like I promised I would all that time ago. How's that sound?" Toshinori said with a cheerful tone. He turned and gestured for his son to follow.

"I...wait, but why don't you just go into your buff form and carry us down? Wouldn't that be faster?" Izuku asked. At this, his father looked a bit sheepish, going to explain why exactly he couldn't do that right now.

"Well, you see, after I got that injury and had most of my organs destroyed, my Quirk has become somewhat limited." Dadmight said, rubbing the back of his head. Made you realize where Izuku got that particular tick from.

"Really? Does that mean you can only do Hero work for so much time a day?" Izuku questioned, following the Hero as they walked down the stairs. Toshinori shook his head, waving his hand in a so-so gesture.

"Kind of. Think of it like this. My Quirk used to be a steel ball that had it's own drive, able to create and sustain it's own momentum. However, now, It's more of a glass ball that I can push for as long as I like. But when I stop, it does too and I have to carefully start to roll it again to full speed to get back into that form." Toshinori explained, making Izuku imagine what that was like.

"So you haven't found a way to get into the form faster?" Izuku wondered. Dadmight grimaced a bit before nodding.

"I have, in the form of a gumball like pill. It allows me to pop right back into my full strength and gain back my momentum. I call them Rumble Balls. However, in order to do so, It would...hit the metaphorical glass ball in order to do so, damaging it and leaving it with cracks. It's the reason I don't use them often." The Hero explained. Izuku nodded, thinking on that. It seemed that his father had everything under wraps for now, but there were probably going to be times where he'd need to use one of those Rumble Balls in order to do his job and keep the illusion that he wasn't injured. That just made the fact that he needed to find a suitable successor even more prevalent. Still, he had his doubts that he would be able to be the one to fit the bill.

They finally made it to the ground floor and went their separate ways. Toshinori promising to meet up with Izuku once he turned in the Sludge Villain. Izuku waved goodbye for the time being, but was still in inner turmoil. He was still slowly trying to process everything that he had been told by his father. It seemed like today was just another one of those emotionally exhausting days.

Somewhere else, Katsuki Bakugo was currently walking through an ally way, finding it to be a shortcut through one district to another. She was still looking for her brother as she walked with a purpose. She was getting really worried about the green haired boy.

With this in mind, that was the very reason she didn't notice that when she kicked a bottle away and loosened it's top, a peculiar slime began to escape from it's confines.

"Finally free! And a new skin suit for me to hide in too! It must be my lucky day." A voice gargled, it's body growing in size. Katsuki looked back to see that there was this mass of sludge behind her. The smell that assaulted her nose made her cringe. It was in that moment of distraction that the Sludge Villain struck.

Izuku stood in front of the store that his father had said that he would meet him, eagerly awaiting his return. However, only after a few minutes did he hear and feel a loud explosion coming from not to far from his position. He turned his head to see that smoke was coming out from an ally way only a few buildings away. He immediately moved to see what was going on. As he did, several others were also gathering. However, it would seem that the altercation had been going on for quite some time, as Heroes were already on the scene and keeping the civilians at a safe distance.

"Stay back! There's a Villain with a hostage!" One of the Heros, Death Arms, stated. Izuku was near the back of the crowd, trying to get a closer look. With every step he took he heard another comment from the other bystanders.

"Why aren't they doing anything?"

"That poor kid. They're suffocating in all that mass."

"I guess the Heroes met they're match, huh?"

"Hey, isn't that the Villain All Might was fighting earlier?"

"Did he lose him? No way!"

"Can't somebody call him or something?"

'Wait, are they talking about...' Izuku thought to himself, finally getting to the front of the crowd and seeing first hand what exactly was happening.

There in the ally way lit by fire, was the same Villain that had nearly suffocated him to death.

The other Heroes present were trying their hardest to either put out the fires, rescue those trapped in the buildings, or making sure that neither the Villain or the civilians got too close to each other.

'That's the Villain from earlier! If that's the case, then how did he escape from dad? Wait...while we were flying! My leg grazed something. It must have been him! Then that means...this is my fault!' Izuku realized. He placed a hand over his mouth as his eyes widened with the horrifying truth. He had cause his dad to loose the Villain because of his own selfish desires. He really was useless. Less than useless even.

'Michael was right. I should just-' Izuku started to think, going into a rather dark place in his mind. But then, he heard an explosion and looked up to see-

"Kacchan!?" Izuku exclaimed, shocked to see that his childhood friend was the one that was held hostage. It even seemed like the Sludge Villain was forcing her to use her Quirk to keep away the surrounding Heroes that tried to get close.

"Woah! It seems like I hit the Jackpot with this one! I might even be able to kill that guy if he ever shows his face again!" The Sludge Villain exclaimed in glee as he maneuvered the girls body as though she were a puppet. Although, he still found it rather difficult to do, mostly due to the fact that the skin suit was still putting up quite the bit of a fight. He was surprised. Most don't survive for this long. Still, he could tell she was getting weaker as time went on. He'd just have to keep it up for a little longer.

Izuku saw the desperation in her eyes. It was only for a moment, but he knew that she saw him among the crowd. Her eyes only conveying one message.

"Save me, please!"

Without even a single moment to think, Izuku was already bolting past the Heroes and towards the Villain. He disregarded the cries and calls telling him to stop, or that he was going to get himself killed. He kept sprinting his way towards his goal of saving his sister!

"Huh? You're that brat from earlier! Move on pal, I've got a new play thing! Buzz off!" The Villain exclaimed as he swung a giant arm of sludge directly at the young man.

Izuku couldn't even understand why he was doing this. He wasn't even aware that his body had started moving on it's own! But even so, he wasn't going to let Kacchan die! Not while he could do something!

'Tip #23: Distract your enemy!' Izuku yelled in his mind, looking around for anything to throw. His eyes landed on a tin can, and decided that's what he was going to use. Calling forth his stand, he commanded it to grab the piece of garbage and chuck it directly into the eye of the Villain at top speed. It was able to disorientate the Villain enough so that Izuku was easily able to dodge the attack and move in to get his sister out of the sludge.

"Kacchan! Don't worry, I'll get you out of there!" Izuku declared as he started to pull on Katsuki's arms, with his stand trying to shovel as much of the goop away as possible. He had already been able to tear her upper body away from the mass.

"Izuku! Get away! It's too dangerous!" Katsuki tried to warn, but Izuku shook his head, his teeth bared as he pulled as hard as he could.

"No way! I'm not leaving without you, Kacchan! That's a promise!" Izuku cried, still trying to get his childhood friend out of the sludge. However, by now, the Villain had regained his bearings and noticed what the kid was trying to do.

"I don't think so! You're dead meat kid!" The Sludge Villain exclaimed as he brought down a nitroglycerin infused punch onto the green haired boy. Izuku closed his eyes, bracing for the great beyond. He then heard an explosion go off, not too far from his face, but felt nothing. When he opened his eyes and looked up, he realized why that was.

In front of him, holding back the arm that had tried to kill the teen, was his father, All Might!

"Fear Not Brave Citizens! For I Am Here!" He proclaimed, shoving the arm back and simultaneously pulling Katsuki out from her prison. The Bakugo child toppled over along with Izuku, giving the Number One Hero enough room to wind up a punch without much to worry about.

"No! Not again!" The Sludge Villain screeched, trying to attack the Number One Hero before he could strike. However, his efforts would be in vain.

"Detroit Smash!" All Might shouted, releasing his all powerful punch. It was not only enough to cause the Villain to explode, but also cause a mini cyclone of wind. With the amount of power released, and the drastic change in air pressure...

"It's...raining?" One of the people watching asked, as droplets of water began to fall from the sky. The rest of the onlookers were amazed at just how much power the Idol had. It was awe-inspiring. They then began to cheer as All Might Brought his fist up in his signature pose.

'So Long As I Am Here, I Won't Let Anything Happen To Our Son. My Promise To You, Inko.' All Might thought to himself as he looked down to his bewildered son and his childhood friend.

Soon thereafter, the other Heroes swooped in and made sure to contain the Villain appropriately. From there, the press swarmed Katsuki, telling her how brave she was and that they wanted to hear her side of the story and how this came to be. Meanwhile, Izuku was scolded by the other Pros and then let go, no one minding him afterwards. He just sighed to himself and decided to head home. His father was busy with the press, same as Kacchan.

"I guess that's it then. I'll just head home and sleep for the rest of the day. They were right anyhow. I really didn't do anything." Izuku said to himself. By now, Mitsuki had taken Katsuki to the hospital to make sure that nothing was wrong with her daughter. She had been told by the Pros that they would take care of Izuku, despite her insistence that she take him with her. The only problem was, they never discussed who exactly would take him home. So he was inevitably left alone. Better off that way, he supposed. He didn't want to waste any more of their time than he already had.

Maybe he should start donating his Hero mer-

"I Am Here, With An Important Message!" All Might said with his usual boisterous voice, sliding from behind a corner. It caused Izuku to nearly jump out of his own skin!

"Da...All Might!? What are you doing here? I thought you were busy with the reporters." Izuku asked, almost calling the Hero his father, but knew better than to exclaim that out in the open. The Number One Hero stood up straight and pounded his fist into his chest, a laugh escaping his lips.

"I Am A Man Of The People, Not The Press! It's Going To Take More Than A Few Reporters To Keep Me In Place. Still, There Was Something I Wish To Speak With You, Izuku." All Might started with his usual charisma, but ended with a tone of seriousness. Izuku tilted his head in confusion. He had already told him about One For All, no? So then what did he need to say?

"It's About How You Behaved Back There. I Saw It. You Were Doubting Yourself If You Really Were Worthy Of My Power. But Out There, When No Other Hero Was Willing To Risk Their Lives To Save Young Bakugo, You Jumped In Without Hesitation. You Were What Made It Possible For Her To Be Saved. Another Moment Later, She Would Not Have Survived." All Might started, making Izuku's eyes widen. He...

"There Are Tales Of Heroes And How They Were Able To Do Truly Amazing Feats. Do You Know What All Of them Have In Common? They Said Their Bodies Moved On Their Own Before They Could Even Think. That Happened To You, Didn't It? You Ran To Save Your Friend Without Thinking About Your Own Safety." All Might Continued. At this point, Izuku was starting to choke up. All these things his father was telling him. Praising him for what he had done. All of these things that his father were saying, it was making him swell with emotion.

"You Wonder If You Are Worthy. If You Truly Can Say That You Can Inherit My Power. I See In You The Potential Not Only To Become A Great Hero, But The Ability To Surpass Even Me. So I Say This, Not only As The Number One Hero, Your Idol, Or Even As The Symbol Of Peace, But As Your FATHER..."

Izuku was in tears, waiting for what Toshinori was going to say. He needed to hear it.

"YOU TOO, CAN BECOME A HERO!" All Might proclaimed, pointing at his son. Izuku had finally heard it. The one thing that he needed to hear for all his life from the person that he wanted to hear it from the most. He nodded, finally deciding that...

"I...I accept!" Izuku exclaimed through his tears. It made Toshinori smile. He hoped that he would.

It took him the entire way here to come up with that speach!

"Great! Now Let's Get You Home. We Have A Lot Of Work To Do!"

Yes! Another one down! Now I' just have to continue with the next one. To be honest, I actually had this more than half way done when I started working on The Man Who Will Become King. I just couldn't find a way to continue. Still, I did it! I did it, and I am going to continue to write for as long as I can. So until then, I will see all of you in another one of my works. Toodles!
