Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about ReZero. Enjoy the 800 word. I don't own ReZero, Tappei and a few others do.

Echidna found beings not like her… Was the word amusing? She didn't know. She didn't understand such base ideas in the end. The idea wasn't as appealing as it was messing with such small creatures.

She gave a smirk to herself as she looked around and then started tapping her fingers on her makeshift throne once more. She was bored. Being a 400-year-old witch would do that to you when you had such massive power… Now she wanted to find someone to amuse herself.

Echidna knew there would be those who wanted to make sure she was taken out… Such a strong witch like her? Even the other witches feared her power, there would regularly be those who tried to kill her, siphon her power or such.

Still? She welcomed the challenge as it made her amused and quite a feat as her heart felt very little emotion to begin with. Echidna kicked back in her throne as she looked to the side.

"There has to be someone who I can speak to…" Echidna stated to herself as she tapped her fingers on the throne once more.

Echidna started to look around, quite bored and uninterested in everything around her. She had far more magic then she knew what to do with… Yet she had nobody around her.

While the witch didn't mostly like people? She grew bored of living in her own little realm with almost nobody but her own creations. They didn't speak to her out of fear or respect.

No, what Echidna wanted was a toy. Someone who she could drag around and who would amuse her. She wanted someone who wasn't afraid to push their luck… Only to then realize that they were messing with someone who could easily kill them if she so wished.

Yes, another being… Any of them who were strong enough to challenge her, yet whom she could control as she wished, that was to be most enjoyable when it came down to it.

"And yet who among the masses are willing to test me in such a manner?" Echidna questioned herself while tapping a finger on her lips.

She conjured an orb of magic with which to view the masses on which she would prey. Would they hate her? Yes, but as the witch of greed? She was always hungry for more things with which to entertain herself.

"Hmm…" Echidna stated to herself as she tapped a finger on her lips once more. "Oh… I sense someone." Echidna stated to herself once more as she looked to the side.

She could feel such powerful magic that it interested her. Someone with such power as to pose a threat to her… Now that was interesting, she wanted to know more.

Her greed provoked her. She wanted to make this being hers. She wanted to bend them to her will… Make them another toy of hers that she controlled and could puppet around to do her bidding.

Now she was interested in what would this being do. They were a magic user like her, but they seemed to have far less control of it. His power was like a well, overflowing which made her more interested in controlling whoever this was.

She needed to control him. To have someone so powerful outside of her control? It was an affront to everything she had… Well, she had plenty, but she wanted much more.

And she would get what she wanted. One way or another, even if it forced her to fight across several different battlefields… She would claim what she wanted.

She was Afterall, the witch of greed… And that meant she could never have enough… Not even the whole world would sate her lust for more. Not even the entire galaxy would sate it.

But she did find something to sate her amusement at the moment. She wondered just what this would bring, there was so much to do and so much to conquer.

Yes, Echidna was far more interested in what came next… And how she could control what happened next down the road… There was so much to plan and then execute… And she couldn't wait to have it.

She would just take it… She would take everything.

Phew, first chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be delayed a bit and such. Next chapter will be 1200 words and will show Echidna meeting the warlock and such. Next chapter will be in 2-6 months and such and will show a fight and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
