Hey everyone, I'm not dead.

So originally, I was going to do an Attack on Titan crossover but with the main character of the second video game. Why? In the customization for the character, you can give them silver eyes. At least that's what started it.

Also, the contrast between the MC of the game and the students of Beacon. People in RWBY are in a job that is shorthand for Classical Hero. Strong, just, and guaranteed to win most fights against the monsters that threaten them.

Then we have the soldiers on Attack on Titan. Weak when compared to titans, any battle they embark on is guaranteed casualties, and if you are in the Scouting Regiment considered to be stupid and or suicidal. Despite that they have a hardened resolve to throw themselves into the fray time and again.

How when the characters in RWBY lose a friend they have their resolve shaken, but in attack on titan game the Character is there to witness the majority of the named characters death, and this is after befriending them too. Suffering betrayal from his closest friends and still fights on.

Why I didn't? I don't think I have the proper writing skills to pull that off and not seem totally angsty.

I also have a story idea involving Courier Six, where he wakes up in the mind of a young Jaune Arc. Not like he wakes up and he's in the body with a mix of their enemies. But more that he's riding Co-pilot with Jaune through the events of RWBY. Where the Courier trains Jaune and becomes a sort of a father/crazy uncle figure to him.

Life has a weird way of taking strange and unexpected turns. Jack Warden, a man sitting in an interrogation room while hand cuffed knew this better than anyone. One day you're the undisputed go to guy of the Brotherhood of Steele a militarized and to be honest somewhat cultic like force of good in the nuked-out ruin of a nation's capital.

However, one out of town trip for a few weeks for a recon mission and he comes back to a large amount of his friends either missing or dead along with those remaining removed from his position, and the more old-fashioned parts of the Brotherhood from the west coast decided to relocate to east coast.

Or as Jack likes to call it getting their asses handed to him by people they didn't take seriously up until they found out their higher technology no longer guaranteed them superiority. So, they came to the east coast to try and continue their failed policies over there.

Long story short Jack disagreed, with new direction the Brotherhood was taking and left. Disagreeing meaning that in front of the entire Brotherhood that moved to the East Coast, called out the newly made Elder a sixteen year old Arthur Maxson for his decision and all the elders in such a spectacular fashion that it was redacted in the Brotherhood's archives and any member since then so much as mentions the incident is disproportionally punished.

This led to hit squads being sent after him. Which failed, after all he is the Lone Wanderer. This led to a spectacular showdown he baited them into by purposely allowing a tracking beacon to be slipped in with his supplies, in which the BOS decided overwhelming force was the answer. So, there he was holding off an army of powered armor goons with a grudge at old research center of some sort. Well as the fight eventually led inside Jack guessed a stray shot hit something sensitive the room went white.

Then he was sent to an entirely different world.

Or so he guessed. How else to you explain a shattered moon and forest that hasn't been scorched by nuclear fire. Then to top it off a man with a scorpion tail attacking him after making a comment about his eyes. The only other thing notable was how tanky the bastard was. The guy shrugged off bullets, explosions and various energy bolts.

Eventually Jack must have worn him down enough to where the electrified edge of his shocksword removed the scorpion part of him.

This caused his assailant to flee screaming vengeance upon him.

Honestly, that part was probably most normal thing to come of the night.

Several minutes later Jack was then surrounded what seemed to be local militia/law enforcement judging by the uniforms.

Many judge the wasteland to be lawless, that's not entirely true. It's just that law is only enforced within the powers that be effective firing range.

Not having the energy to kill a bunch a guys just doing there job, also the fact they didn't shoot first and then asked for surrender made Jack think they were probably weren't that bad.

And if they are that bad, well it wouldn't be the first time he was captured. And he always breaks loose when he needs to.

He was put in a cell questioned about why he was firing indiscriminately in the forest. Also, why he had so much firepower, and asking him if he was an unlicensed huntsman. And who the owner of that scorpion tail was.

He noted a few of them had animal ears and tails themselves alongside normal humans so he guessed that must not be a rare thing here.

They then put him in this room with what he knows is a one-way window and table with a chair on each side. It seemed to be an interrogation room you'd find in police departments.

Despite this he was enjoying the fact nothing was actively trying to kill him at the moment.

They even gave some freshly cooked food and even purified water. Honestly it felt as if he was in an inn rather than a holding room compared to most places he sleeps in.

Jack's period of peace was broken when the door opened and a man and a woman entered.

The woman seemed to be in her mid to late thirties and had blonde haired tied into a bun with emerald green eyes behind some clear glasses. She wore high heeled boots, dark stockings, a pencil skirt and a white blouse with puffy sleeves. She also had a riding crop holstered as if it were a weapon.

The man seemed to be in his middle ages, he had short messy grey/silver hair and brown eyes. He wore a suit with the jacket unbuttoned showing a green vest underneath. He wore shades but they were small and weren't worn high enough to cover his eyes. The man carried a cane though judging by the lack of difficulty he had walking, Jack figured it was more an accessory than an actual aid.

They gave of the feel of a rich man and his secretary.

The man sat down while the woman remained standing a few feet behind him.

"Hello, My name is Professor Ozpin." Greeted the man a respectful manner and waited for a response.

"Jack Warden." Introduced Jack in turn. His dad did raise him to have manners after all. Even if he rarely had reason to use them.

The man studied him before responding.

"I am here because while I was on a return flight to Vale, an associate of mine contacted me of a development occurring." Said Ozpin.

"And what might that be?" Prodded Jack evenly.

"Are you aware that you not only survived encounter with one of the most dangerous killers in the world but caused him to flee. Without having your Aura unlocked no less." Ozpin answered. Jack got from the context that whatever Aura was more than likely what allowed the scorpion man to be bullet proof.

"Hmm…" Said Jack, trying to not seem like he didn't have a clue what Ozpin was talking about. "And here I thought it was just another psychopath out raise his kill count."

Ozpin studied him once again before responding.

"Yes, I suppose someone your age wouldn't recognize Tyrian Callows on sight, due to the fact he's been lying low for a decade." Said Ozpin. "But enough about him, right now my interest is in you."

"How so?" asked Jack.

"You are obviously incredibly skilled and from looking at you seem to be much more experienced than someone your age normally would be." Said Ozpin "Your eyes as well-being silver, not sure if you are aware of old tales but they indicate someone unique."

This made Jack pause. That last line set of waring bells in his head.

"Funny you should mention that." Said Jack adjusting himself to a more upright position.

"And why may that be?" asked Ozpin in his polite yet relaxed manner.

Jack in a split second used one hand to throw the table between them to the side, with a light metal table not bolted to the ground it was too easy move. While with his other he took out a combat knife he concealed from the guards when they took the rest of his gear and pressed it to Ozpins neck.

"That's the same thing that Tyrian guy commented on before he attacked me." Said Jack, To Ozpin's credit he barely reacted to the action Jack just took. And not in a way that showed he didn't have time to react but more that it didn't bother him.

Jack figured Ozpin had Aura too, and therefore was as resilient as that Tyrian guy was. That being a knife probably had little in the way of being actually threatening.

The woman on the other hand had her riding crop pulled out and seemed a bit more alarmed.

"I was under the impression the local militia disarmed you." Said Ozpin still seemingly non-pulsed about having a knife to his neck. Further reinforcing Jacks theory

"I've learned how to conceal weaponry, just in case." Said Jack "Now then what can you tell me that will convince me that you aren't working with that Scorpion man from earlier?"

"I see you are cautious person; I can't fault you for it considering what you have gone through this night." Said Ozpin. "Glynda could make sure that we have some privacy in this room. What we are about to discuss is sensitive in nature."

The woman lowered her riding crop, before giving Ozpin and incredulous look then sighing a she left the room to complete her bosses request.

Jack finally lowered the knife.

"I suppose this means I have earned some trust." Said Ozpin, absently rubbing his neck.

"Not quite." Said Jack evenly. "I figure that a knife would be useless against on it's own and I'm better off trying to strangle you instead should I need to."

Oddly enough the man seemed to give him a look of approval, despite them talking about how Jack could potentially kill him.

"I see, anyways what I am about to tell you is not known by the general public." Said Ozpin "Tyrian Callows, belongs to a group that would see all of the world thrown into chaos, they believe that those with silver eyes are a direct threat to that."

It seemed pretty non-sensical that they kill off people based on a eye color so that could only mean…

"Oh great, first day here and pick a fight with a secretive cult." Said Jack with sigh.

"Though not entirely accurate that is an apt enough description for them." Said Ozpin "Though back to you. Before I entered this room, I had the opportunity to overlook your equipment."

'Great…they probably found a whole bunch of stuff they haven't begun to develop or are still in prototype phase.' Thought Jack with pretty good idea where this was going. After all in a lot of the stories and comics he read growing up that was a telling sign of not being of this world.

When he came here his more exotic weaponry was his laser weapons namely the Wazer Rifle and Metal Blaster, along with the gauss rifle was among his inventory. He use to have the Tesla Cannon but that was lost when he did his last stand against the Brotherhood when he pissed them off enough to use mini-nukes on his position.

They still didn't kill though…

"Your equipment while not unheard of hasn't been seen in such small and compact forms. Their power sources are also are entirely unheard off." Said Ozpin "And what I find even more perplexing is the fact that each of those weapons seem to be centuries old at least, far before any development on them began, even your more conventional weapons age pre date the development of such weapon types."

'The old man has discerning eye for weaponry.' Though Jack actually impressed with Ozpin's deduction skills. He thought about how to explain it. But he still wasn't sure if he wanted to.

"If you do not wish to tell me that is fine. I am confident enough in my deductive abilities to form my own conclusions." Said Ozpin, knowing what was going through the young man's mind. "Rather where you are from does not interest me, what I want to offer you is place to belong, come work with me."

This surprised the Lone Wanderer, he honestly did not expect that.

"Why though? I don't think we trust each other enough to be making job offers." asked Jack. Not to mention he had a knife to his throat five minutes prior. It wouldn't have done anything but it's the thought that counts.

"You are correct, trust is something earned and built over time." Said Ozpin. "However, you are currently being targeted by my enemies. While you are obviously highly skilled, and no doubt resourceful, I can offer you place they will think twice before attacking. It would be in both our best interest to work together."

"I'll… think about it." Said Jack actually contemplating the offer.

"That is all that I ask." Said Ozpin. "Now I believe proper introductions are in order. As I have said before my name is Professor Ozpin, I am the Headmaster of Beacon Academy. The most renowned combat school in the world. Where the next generation of Huntsman and Huntresses train to protect the world from the creatures of darkness. I would like to offer you a place among my school's faculty, what role you take can be negotiated."

That was bunch more words he didn't know the significance of. This world seems to have it's crap together a lot more than his did.

"Now while you haven't agreed to work with me, I do have a flight back to Vale ready if you'd like to join me. Though I doubt you have anywhere else in mind to visit." Said Ozpin.

"Actually, I'd like to make it there on my own." Said Jack.

Now it was Ozpin's turn to be surprised.

"Really? Are you certain?" asked Ozpin.

"Yeah, just give me a map and mark the location you want me to go to. I'll make it there." Said Jack "Plus finding my own way will give me perspective on how things go on here."

Jack has long since learned that just heading straight for the end point and only listening to people who sent you there you will miss a lot of important information, and even those with good intentions may not tell you the whole story. The Pitt being a wakeup call.

Plus, this wouldn't be the first time he'd be dropped into a new place with only vague directions and not knowing what trouble awaits him.

(-Later-)

Ozpin and Glynda left the Militia HQ. Ozpin had a satisfied look on his face. While Glynda had somewhat displeased look.

"He was quite the interesting character, wasn't he?" said Ozpin "I have to say I don't think I have ever met someone quite like him."

"He held a knife to your throat…" Said Glynda in disbelief. "He held knife to your throat, and you offered him a job!"

"Please, we both know that would have done little to me, something Mr. Warden realized himself half way through our conversation." Said the headmaster casually. "If he actually posed threat, he would have barely had time to flip the able before we subdued him."

"Ozpin…" said Glynda "I know he's a silver eyed warrior but he is someone who according to you isn't even from Remnant! We know nothing about him."

Ozpin shared his theory with Glynda when they were examining Jack's weapons. She knew how accurate his deductions were even if the claim was outlandish. Not mention she herself understood how radically different they are to modern weaponry.

While laser technology did exist, it was only in large scale forms mounted on air ships or defense turrets powered by large sources of Dust. Nothing even close to being compact enough to be carried around by an average person. That and while she wasn't as savvy with weapons as many other huntsmen and huntresses, she knew enough to recognize none of them ran on dust instead those strange batteries were used instead.

"True his silver eyes are something to take note of, but that's not the only reason offered him to join us." Explained Ozpin "He was able to fight a highly trained and skilled former Huntsmen without his Aura being unlocked. That level of skill and tactical ability is a rarity even among the most renowned Huntsmen in history. Not mention he has already picked a fight with Salem's forces though unknowingly. Regardless, I want to keep a close eye on him even if he doesn't decide to work with his."

"I understand…" Said Glynda with sigh. She probably knew Ozpin better than anyone else on Remnant. Though his decisions didn't always make sense to her, she did trust him enough to know what he was doing.

After all he couldn't be any worse than a certain drunkard also working for Ozpin could he.

-(Capital Wasteland)-

After action report:

In attempt to terminate former Sentinel Jack Warden (Known alias as the Lone Wanderer) who has thus far been able to handle any other kill teams sent after him, The elders have dispatched 150 knights along with 10 paladins all were from former west coast chapters and the recently reintegrated "Outcasts" once recon teams have located the target after having a tracking beacon discreetly placed on him.

Though it is now believed this was intentional on the former sentinel's part as he had a well-stocked and fortified position.

First casualties involved the task force walking into a mine field consisting of both plasma and pulse mines, adding to this Sentinel Warden also used a gauss rifle in combination with a tesla cannon to fire upon them while they attempted to traverse the minefield.

After the minefield was traversed the task force was again pinned down by Warden's use of a gatling laser, customized laser rifles, and pulse grenades.

The task force was eventually able to breach the structure after using Mini-nuke launchers to dislodge him from his strong point. They then moved to engage Warden in close combat inside the facility. Several more traps were inside once gain consisting of plasma and pulse munitions.

When Warden was directly engaged, he proved to be incredibly dangerous even without power armor of his own. He utilized a high-powered laser rifle modified to resemble a shotgun in function and what historical records revealed to be a shock sword created by pre-war China for high-ranking officers. It's ability to cleave through power armor proved deadly to when Warden had an easier time maneuvering through the cramped hallways of the building as compared to the knights and paladins utilizing power armor.

Even when using more conventional weaponry such as a Type 93 assault rifle he was able to accurately target less armored and critical parts in and around the joints of the power armor that disabled the frame.

The task force was after hours of constant fighting forced Warden deeper into the facility where they eventually pinned him down in what appeared to be a lab.

However, the fighting had appeared to damage sensitive equipment trigging a blast that destroyed most of the facility.

Recovery efforts have managed to account for all dispatched knights and paladins including those turned to ash by laser weaponry.

Total casualties:

96 knights killed, 35 wounded, 19 physically unharmed but several have signs of mental trauma.

All paladins confirmed killed.

*Note: The body of former Sentinel Warden was not found among the ruins. Historical records recovered on site indicate that testing of some form of instant teleportation took place here. There is a possibility that Warden is still active.

It is this scribes recommendation that if the Warden is still alive the Brotherhood should leave him alone unless he is a clear and present danger.*

Elder Arthur Maxson put down the report and sighed while pinching the bridge of his nose. That is what he wanted to do in the first place. Leave Jack aka the god damn Lone Wanderer alone. Both out of respect for his service for the Brotherhood, and the fact that he is in fact the single most dangerous individual on the East Coast.

Arthur supposed he should be happy that at least some survivors returned.

This is why none of the East Coast Brotherhood members opted in for that mission save for a few former Outcasts who dismissed his exploits as exaggerated by Three Dog in GNR to bring hope to the wastelanders.

But anyone around when Owen Lyons was in charge could tell you that…

You. Do. Not. Fuck. With. The. Lone Wanderer.

During the war for with Enclave he was considered the next best thing as compared to a 40 foot tall nuke throwing robot!

For crying out loud he didn't even use power armor most of time!

Arthur looked up to Jack a lot when he was younger, he still does even now. Even after he left the brotherhood.

He understood why the Wanderer left. He was even expecting it when he came to make the announcement. But he had to keep the peace with the chapters who were fleeing the west. The Brotherhood had no hope of surviving the coming decades if they weren't united, so if that meant losing a soldier, not matter how renowned or effective they were, he would make that choice again. He was even willing to turn to a blind eye to higher death rates of those who were loyal to Owen Lyons ideals.

He was willing to let the Wanderer go in peace. But after Jack's extremely public 'resignation' The western Elders were bit angry to say the least. Having been embarrassed by someone from Owen Lyons Old Guard. They immediately agreed to have kill teams sent after him.

Their justification was that can't have someone with intimate knowledge on how the Brotherhood operates loose around the wasteland.

Of course, the young Elder disagreed. And informed them that Jack won't sabotage the Brotherhood's operations and that any attempts to eliminate him won't be worth the cost.

The western elder's response was that, while he did have the position of Elder he was still too inexperienced lead properly and he should defer to their guidance on the matter.

That turned out well for them, didn't it?

He has concrete proof that Jack would have lived and let lived. Despite an outwardly headstrong and impudent attitude, it only conceals an insightful and calculating mind. After all one does last long in the wasteland by being stupid. Jack despite his misgivings with the Brotherhood still knows that they are the best hope for the people of the wasteland to have any kind of stability on the East Coast. As long as they weren't to aggressive in their actions going forward Jack would have left them alone.

Another bit of evidence is the fact the Citadel isn't a smoking crater.

Here's something most don't know. The Lone Wanderer has a space ship. Why? He was abducted by aliens. He then proceeded to seize the vessel with a small team of misfits, against a race that used technology far beyond even pre-war level's.

The ship also has a death ray that can target anywhere on Earth.

How does Arthur know this? Jack showed it to him on his thirteenth birthday after convincing Elder Lyons to let him out of the Citadel.

So, if Jack actually wanted them dead, they would not be here right now!

He sighed once more before getting up. It was time to confer with the other Elders.

Maxson left his quarters and walked to towards meeting room that was once utilized by the Lyons Pride. Who all tragically perished along with Sarah Lyons during an ambush by a horde of Super Mutants.

The two guards to the room raised their fist to their chest in a salute as he entered.

Inside were men all in elder robes and significantly older than he was.

They all had a broken look on their face. No doubt having read the same report he just did.

All of their experience, and it still led to disaster because they didn't listen to a 16 year old boy they made elder for symbolic reasons if nothing else.

"Fellow Elders." Said Arthur as he gained his attention, they turned towards him but said nothing. "I'm sure you have all read the same report I have, it is for this reason I advised against taking any action against Jack Warden. So going forward there going to be things we do differently."

Once again, they said nothing. How could they. There actions have led to them fleeing the west coast their place of origin, caused unnecessary casualties in what everyone here knew is a petty grudge, and most of all he had Maxson's name.

After all, if the Brotherhood is to survive, they had to be united, but more importantly they also had to change.

Alright I'm back, it has been years since I have posted anything. But I haven't been idle either despite my lack of activity. I have been writing things there are stories both partially completed chapters to current stories I have, and completely new ones.

One I have is crossover between RWBY and Claymore involving a OC Beacon student being sent to Claymore world during the fall of Beacon.

This story mainly started out with me wondering why all these characters sent to the RWBY universe joined a team of students despite being a good deal older. Then I thought why not make them a teacher?

Spoilers by the way…

I decided to go with the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3 since I figure he can empathize with the cast more than the Courier can.

So this Lone Wanderer is a good karma character despite how he is portrayed in this chapter. It's just that it's been years since Fallout 3, all the betrayals are starting add up, he has lost friends including Sarah Lyons, and the one faction he believed as hope for the future has taken a turn in bad direction.

So, coming into world of Remnant. He isn't totally done with trying to do the right thing. But he is more wary of who he is working with. While not portraying himself as a total Lone Wolf 'Everyone else can fuck off I'm doing my own thing.'

Also, that conversation with Ozpin. The Lone Wanderer is experienced now and is better at reading people and picking up on subtext from his time in the wastes. Ozpin being who he is, having literally seen the rise of modern civilization is able to pick out anomalies in the world. So, a lot of that interaction was more on how they sized each other up rather than what they said.

Also I wanted to avoid that whole 'I'm from another world, here's proof…' conversation as it's over done.

The end part was just showing how the Lone Wanderer got to Remnant, and how the BOS treated him. Since absolutely no one mentions him in Fallout 4 and doesn't even receive a reference on a terminal. I figure they had a falling out. So that will be one of the very few times (If I do anymore) we have a POV back at earth.
