Run down Prison, Unrealeased area of GGO

May 17th 2026

The imperial prisoners looked at Youji with complete fear at what would happen to them. A day earlier their forces and comrades were massacred and kicked aside like they were nothing.

The man who captured them was speaking to someone else in a language they didn't understand. The other person spoke in their language as he translated what he said "Who are you people? Where do you come from?" He asked.

None of the Imperials responded at all till one gained the courage to speak surprisingly enough he was an officer in the Imperial army "We come from a country called the Saderan Empire or The Empire for short. The reason why we came here was for more land, and Slaves. It was a direct order from the Emperor." Said one of the Saderans.

The man who spoke in their language turned to the other person who was in the room in the same language the other person was speaking.

The room they were in looked old, like it has seen better days. Their guards were men made out of metal, their heads were a bit taller than humans and more similar to golems so they were called Iron Golems by the imperials. There were 6 of them, 4 at the corners of the room, and two at the door to another room.

After talking it over with the other person one of the men bowed and spoke swiftly which they didn't understand, but the other translated.

"He says he has to go now, enjoy your stay here while he tries to figure out what to do with you." The person said, then a plate of food which looked way better than anything else they've ever had before had appeared out of nowhere.

"Eat up." Was all his response, the imperials not wanting to anger the gods began eating.

While the fighting in GGO between the imperials and the players raged on, another gate opened in the world of ALO, this time not by the players beating a boss, but by the gods somehow entering a world made up of code while there was a much larger real world one the outside.

The other gate opened up in a prairie near the Sylphs territory.

Two players were sitting in the prairie just sunbathing.

"Hey Suka, how do you think Fuka is doing in GGO?" Asked a man with elf ears, his name was Soei.

"I'm pretty sure she's slashing away any creep that tries to hit on her and if not she'll blow them away from a distance with grenade launchers! I mean she wasn't called the 'Fairy of destruction' nothing!" Suka said happily.

"Well that sounds a lot like her style!" The two sylphs began laughing, but something interrupted that, out of nowhere a shadow appeared over them.

Clouds did exist in ALO but they wouldn't appear so suddenly, but what created the shadow was more confusing. A massive monolithic structure that looked like the entrance to a dungeon if it was well maintained.

"What the?" Said Suka, saying Soeis' words first.

Then the sound of marching could be heard from inside the structure, and what came out of the other side was Romans with the lowest ranking creatures in ALO, there were goblins, ogres, and then wyverns.

"Wyverns!" Yelped Suka, Wyverns we're very dangerous to fight in ALO, they were one of the hardest beasts to fight.

Although the two players were high levels they still could only kill a wyvern in ten hits, if it was dragon they would've needed a raid, and get at least 40 level 50 players to beat.

Suka prepared an explosion spell that detonated itself whenever anything moving got into a 5 meter radius of it, sort of like a proximity fuse.

Meanwhile Soei prepared hand to hand combat.

"Suka you call for reinforcements from the Sylphs and I need you to tell them we're under attack!" Soei ordered.

"Will you be alright?"

"Yes I will be, now get going!"

After getting confirmation that her friend could handle himself, she spread her wings and took off towards the Sylphs main base.

Holy Hill Falnus

"How long will it be till the mages open the gate?!" Asked a general.

"About at least another thirty minutes." Said his aide.

"Tell the mages to speed it up! I want the gate to open in 20 minutes!" The General greedily barked.

"Uh… I will pass on the message to the mages sir." The aide spoke in a calm tone that was contrasted to the General.

"Good now go! I want to be by myself now." The General angrily barked.

The aide then left the General's tent, with a sprint, to give them that message.

"Speed up the process!" Said a wizard angrily, he was angry at the impossible request from the general.

"Yes, that's Generals Lucius' orders." Said an aide.

"Really we're moving at full speed and the General wants us to go faster! Impossible! He's lucky we even responded to the emperor's call! This much demand is impossible. You do realize this is an art, it takes time. If the General told an artist to speed up his drawing then he would've ended up with a terrible drawing!" The wizard said, trying to tell the aide that it's impossible.

"Fine, tell that to the General." The aide said calmly.

The wizard hesitating and gave in, it was well known within the imperial army that General Lucius was hard headed and greedy like prince Zorzal who's as said to arrive at the Holy Hill of Dalnus one of four origin points of life in Falmart.

"Fine I will tell the mages to speed the process up." The wizard reluctantly agreed.

After 15 minutes of waiting the gate opened but as soon as the imperial army was about to enter the gate. It collapsed and closed, preventing the imperial army from crossing into this new world.

The mages immediately began working on trying to get the gate open, after 30 minutes of waiting the gate finally reached a stable form and opened.

SDC Glocken, GGO

May 17th, 2026

A group of five people quickly made their way through alleyway to alleyway. Using the back roads to get to the center of the city, the Administration building, where you could make a direct appointment with an admin if you wanted to directly complain about something, but it wasn't used much as players preferred sending an email instead. For example you could talk about hosting a third Squad Jam, but this time it could be live streamed across the world if you have the money for it. But their reason for trying to get there was because it was a strategic spot that would most likely be under siege by the Romans despite them not being able to do much. But there was also ammo there, and the spawn could be changed there if needed.

In the lore of GGO the administration building was built on in an old U.S State Capitol building so it was easily defensible because of its design as a government building. But they had a second reason why they were heading to the administration building via the back roads. The main roads were to dangerous since they were crawling with Romans and fantasy creatures, but there have been reports from other players that players and NPCs' alike were being kidnapped and enslaved by the Romans and were being sent off in caravans towards the western gate of the city, Fuka knew where they were headed, it was towards the direction where the gate opened, and where the invasion originally began.

So they decided to use hit and run tactics the Vietcong used during the Vietnam war. The layout out of SDC Glocken was complex and confusing, especially the backroads and alleyways. If you didn't know where you were, you would get lost.

"Fukajiro I have spotted a caravan, they seem to have about three players, and five NPCswith them, and are surrounded by about 30 Romans, 3 ogres, and have air support via Wyverns." Reported Nahiro.

Nahiro was the Vanguard and the fastest out of this squadron; its name was the Kaiho squadron or Liberation squadron. It's leader was Fukajiro who suggested the name, as the operation was called.

"Alright do you need artillery support? Or can you handle this on your own?" Fuka asked.

"We can handle this on our own." Nahiro said.

"Alright, Tenshu, be prepared to hand out rifles to the captured players! Chances are their guns were either taken, broken, or were dropped during their fight." Fuka ordered.

"What do we do with the NPCs?" Asked Tenshu.

"You can use them as human shields if you want to; they can respawn easily." Fuka said coldly.

"You gonna directly help Fuka?" Asked Nahiro.

"Actually I was asked by Llenn to practice with my sidearm in case I am in close quarters combat but not close enough for hand to hand combat. I will use my side arm after the you know the incident with the 'predator' in the dome during the second squad jam." Fuka said, while pulling out her sidearm, and pulling the gun's hammer back, loading a bullet into the chamber.

"Wait, didn't you beat him to death with his rifle?" Asked Nahiro.

"Maybe?" She said while giving off a devilish grin.

"Let's do this!" Fuka said, she then charged in with Tenshu behind her with his backpack full of weapons and ammo, along with his inventory.

Fuka jumped out of the alleyway firing her gun, and taking out three Romans with three well practiced headshots. The bullet circle being very small, her allies followed suit with assault rifles, and submachine guns in hand, firing them, taking out multiple Romans at same time, Tenshu ran towards the carriage and started freeing the captured players in the process. He then freed the NPCs which automatically stood up, then an arrow hit the NPC which prompted the game to call it an immortal object and do no damage despite not being in the game.

Tenshu pushed the NPC to move forward, but against a projectile that is affected by gravity much more than a bullet, which would make attacks from the front would also makes it from above. But with a quick reaction Tenshu put the NPC over his head protecting him from the barrage of arrows.

Tenshu then spawned two M16A1s used by the US military.

"Here take these!" He yelled, then threw them towards the now freed players who were hiding behind the carriages wheels, they then caught the guns Tenshu threw, he then handed each player 5 mags, and two plasma grenades.

The guns were already loaded with ammo so they didn't need to load them but having extra ammo wasn't bad.

The players then ran back into the back alleyways, after their hit and run with the NPCs following them. They then continued their walk to the Administration building.

Karen Kohiruimaki Apartment Residence

May 17th, 2026

Karen sighed, she finally finished all of her homework and studies after an entire hour of work. She eyed her amusphere contemplating whether or not she should play GGO.

"Nah, I should take a break after all the crazy stuff yesterday." She spoke to herself, then she got a message from Miyu.

The message read "Hey Karen we have a problem here in GGO. You remember the Romans we fought yesterday! Well they invaded SDC Glocken and are currently occupying parts of the city, along with the spawn area so I'm sending this message out to everyone who fought the Romans with us, so we could… you know Liberate GGO. But if you do join, as soon as you spawn in, bring out your gun so you don't keep on dying or get captured.

So anyways we need help fighting the Romans. We're also going to make a defense at the administration building, so hopefully we could change the spawn area, and make a defense."

"What the f-" Karen then rushed to her amusphere, put her pajamas on, closed her blinds, then laid down on her bed, put the amusphere on her head and then said "Link Start!" She felt her conscience disappear then she reawoke in the world of GGO, but what was surrounding her was the Romans from yesterday. Spears and shields in hand getting ready to charge at any unsuspecting foe that appears out of nowhere but are eager to capture them.

They charged at her with spears and shields in hand, they all bounced off her temporary force shield. She then activated her optical shield, summoned P-Chan and began spraying at the Romans with bullets. They all quickly died in their own pool of blood. She then quickly dashed away in a blur.
