Flying Sylph City, ALO

May 17th, 2026

Suka quickly flew into the Slyph main guildhall, landing with precise ease. The guildhall was where most quests are located and a place where players meet up at. Suka opened the door with a loud crash. Walking in this garnered the attention of everyone in the building.

"We're under attack!" Suka yelled, this confused everybody, since attacks only happen in the open world, it was odd for players to say they're under attack unless an event occurs, then a Wyvern flew overhead. Panic began to spread but this was replaced by confusion. Monsters weren't allowed into the cities or the nearby areas, unless it was in a region in between the ities where you must cross if you want to get there, it was dangerous to cross and you needed to be prepared even if you flew over it the sky were also dangerous because of Wyverns and Dragons, so you needed to be prepared for unexpected events. But this no one could comprehend it properly till a fireball was being formed over the guild hall, everybody got up and began performing spells, and unnecessary amount of ice, fire, water, and wind magic was used against a wyvern which has barely any more magic than the most powerful bunny in this world, which mind you is no larger than a wyvern itself.

Then more wyverns began to appear, one after another, all together there was more than 50 wyverns in the sky, the players of ALO in response to these aerial forces, some opened their wings and took off combating them with swords in hand, others opened fire with spells, massacring half of the wyverns, a brutal melee occurred between the fairies and the Wyverns. The fairies were smaller, faster, stronger, and more in numbers they killed the remaining Wyverns in a massacre, the players in the sky later saw the Imperial army, and a single player throwing magic at them slowly taking them out, but he was forced to retreat after using most of his mana.

The other players knew what this meant, either an event or something else was happening, and so every single Sylph all happily jumped into battle, with the thoughts of XP in mind.

"Enemy attack!" Yelled an Imperial officer.

There was a massive wave of magic, mages screamed in terror at the amount of mana being thrown at them. Large chunks of the imperial army exploded in a massive blood splat. The plains where the gate opened up slowly went down hill at a steady pace, so naturally with blood following the power of gravity they went down hill. A brutal one sided melee occurred between the Imperials and Players.

Due to the fact that the players looked like Elfs, many assumed they were fighting the elves.

Entire swaths of soldiers were cut in half, soldiers that attempted to use shields to protect them were blown away by the magic oriented players who were giving air support.

Many of the players considered this a raid battle more than anything else so they coordinated with each other, and covered each other when needed.

The Imperials were defeated after an hour of fighting. Many players just accepted this as an event and assumed the other races got a similar event but in actuality they did not, the Sylphs were the only ones who got the "event".

Unlike the battle in GGO where there were 5 squadrons that fought them at first, it was an entire race with hundreds of players who worked together vs hundred thousand imperial soldiers who were massacred like how they were in GGO.

Blood splattered the ground, staining the grass making it look like a small lake, but it flowed downhill because of the slight decline the plain has. To the imperials it was a complete massacre. To the players of ALO it was free XP.

Outskirts of SDC Glocken

May 17th, 2026

Llenn quickly dashed from alleyway to alleyway, going for the most efficient route to get to her friend Fukajiro, who was waiting at an alleyway near the administrative building. Then the administrative building came into view.

Then she saw her friend Fuka with a group of men.

"Llenn." Fuka said quietly.

"So what are we looking at here Fuka?" Llenn asked.

"Well the entire Administrative building is surrounded, but they haven't been able to go across the fencing surrounding it since it's an immortal and unmovable object. But their wyverns have flown over it and attempted to bombard the building."

"Let me guess it's because most things are immortal objects in the Administrative building area?"

"Yes that's my reasoning as well, but we need to get over there so we can change the spawn locations."

"Yep it will go a long way in pushing them back. Also Fuka, have you contacted Youji the Admin from yesterday?"

"Actually yes but he hasn't responded." Then out of irony Fuka got a response.

"Nevermind I just got one right now." Fuka said happily.

"What does it say?" Llenn asked.

"Let's see here," Fuka quickly read it after doing so she became shocked.

"What is it?!" Llenn asked like a child becoming inpatient.

"The admins are teleporting everybody to the administrative building!"

"When!"

"Uh… at 5:00 PM."

Llenn looked at her watch on her wrist. It was 4:59 PM!

"Hey Fuka, are they also changing the spawn location as well?"

"Uh… Yeah they are." Then they were teleported in a white light. All across the world of GGO hundreds of players were teleported to the administrative building. Captured players disappeared, the Imperials were confused.

That included one very angry prince.

"What do you mean all of our slaves disappeared!" Zorzal yelled, throwing his cup of wine at his aid.

"I'm sorry my lord, not only that we've been dealing with the local beast, they seem to react to the barbarians but not us for some reason."

"You didn't inform me of this earlier!"

"I'm sorry milord it's just that there was so much commotion that I couldn't properly get your information." The aid said, bowing in fear trying to use any excuse as to why he didn't tell him, but he didn't have an excuse.

Prince Zorzal drew his sword, and cut his aide's head off.

"Clean this up." Zorzal ordered. Then obediently multiple imperial soldiers began cleaning up the dead body in the wake of Zorzals anger.

"Get me the locations on where the slaves most likely disappeared off to!"

Llenn was amazed, the Administrative building was very large, not on the outside but the inside as well the reason was that every single door apparently had room on the other side of it, it must've taken large amounts of data to run, but somehow Zaskar was able to make it fit in 20 GB large game. If you tried to make this on a non-VR gaming set you would need to load every single room individually every time you walked into a room, but with VR technology, and the advancements of Video Cards, and GPUs and CPUs being much more powerful and compact you could run every single room with ease.

But Llenn couldn't get distracted. People would be off of work and getting to their homes by now, so they would be online soon. They were probably tired, and were eager to shoot up some beasts and players to let steam off, and were eager to get away from real life, but they will be confused as to why they spawned in the Administration building and not the main spawn, but she was here to explain what's happening, the admins are spawning in hundreds of guns along with ammo to give away, luckily the Devs are aware of this so they will be able to modify the map if need be, apparently this was only possible with build tools, and in game movies but now with the Seed Pack modding tools it was possible to modify the environment greatly while the servers were running. Although no one has tried this yet, it's easier to use build tools but it seems like Zaskar isn't willing to trust building tools to their admins or it isn't in the games code and they don't have the time to create one.

Then the first of the players began to log in. Llenn watched their virtual bodies materialize into existence. Although the players quickly became confused as to where they were. The players were spawning in the central garden of the Administration building, this put them as far away from the fighting as possible.

Then admin Youji and other admins came around and started informing players of the situation.

Everybody was confused at the situation, all the players wanted to do was let off steam from either their work conditions, or their bosses, or whatever they're angry about, but when they log on to their favorite game they're met with an invading ancient fantasy looking army.

Ammo of every type was handed out, the players that were captured told their stories about what they saw.

"I just want to kill beasts and maybe even PK a little." Complained to a player.

"Look on the bright side, you get to kill a bunch of Romans that tried to invade our favorite game!" Said another player.

"Good point!" The player said, drawing his gun and cocking the gun loading a bullet into the chamber with a devilish grin.

A small stand off between the players and the Imperials happened, then a large hail of arrows came raining down starting the battle named by the players, the battle of the Administrators, or known by the Imperials battle of the gods.

Out of nowhere massive dirt pillars appeared, busting up into the sky like a skyscraper taking the Romans with them.

Wyverns we're shot out of the sky by A.I anti air who learned to recognize the Imperials and their Wyverns by using deep learning technology that was readily and publicly available. Blood rained from the sky.

A large hail of bullets from the player, hundreds of thousands of bullets being shot, players who just joined became confused but a sign right in front of the spawn area explained the situation.

Zorzal just looked at the massacre from a distance, shocked at the amount of devastation "Impossible, this is… impossible. How are they getting that many reinforcements?" He wondered, they were completely surrounded in that building, he took over most of the town with no resistance, but now it's picking up?! Impossible!

Then He saw it and the ground began to move. It shot up like it was moving via magic. "That's impossible, only the gods are capable of that!"

Meanwhile at Zaskars' Development department in New York city they're just picking up random parts of the ground around the administration building, aware of what's going on but not knowing why they need to do this. Bored at the current events they decide to do something different.

"Hey John, do you think we should create an alien spacecraft? Like just grab a free model off of the internet somewhere."

"Sure why not?"

After looking up some free models they found one that looks really good. It was a Martian spacecraft cause why not? Although it wouldn't work properly but it's so high in the air it was unreachable.

To the players in GGO it literally looked like aliens were invading but nothing happened and then disappeared, but then it came back it was in fact moving from one side of the map to the other. Everybody was confused so the fighting temporarily stopped. The spacecraft later reappeared.

"Vrroom!" Said a map builder moving the spacecraft free model across the map to the other.

"Hey James, what are you doing with that spacecraft?" Asked another map builder.

"Bored, well messing with the map is fun' and all but it isn't enough." He said.

"Oh okay how about start moving the ground again since Youji from the Japanese division won't stop yelling at me."

"Wait admins can do that to developers?"

"I don't know but he's insisting that I have you continue doing your job he asked of you." He just shrugged.

"All right, sure." He then switched to his editing screen and continued messing with the ground, he then decided to make a massive ditch, then make it suddenly go as high as Mount Everest.

Then his co-worker came back "anything new?" He asked.

"Yeah he said you can stop now. Since they're starting to break, and are retreating, not many players on the Japanese server are online right now, but they're joining in fast so the fight is easier." The developers coder report.

The dev stretched "Ah, finally I can go home. It's very late right now. Next time we should give the admins build tools to manipulate the environment and not us." It was around 11:30 PM. Although the dev lives alone he still wants to sleep and have time playing GGO himself without the need to test anything but it looks like he won't today.

"Anyways I'm clocking out so. bye." He said while grabbing his bag, and walking out of the office.
