Hi all! So I don't do very well with full stories and staying on top of them because of life- so I decided to just do a collection of one-shots: the Mike!Whump addition.

I have some ideas- but please let me know if there are any scenarios you would like to see! (I am going to try to avoid repeating whumps).

Anyway- enjoy!

"You're early," Harvey said with a tone of genuine surprise in his voice, as he got off the elevator and his

Mike held out two files for him.

"It took a bit, along with Rachel's help, but we managed to find a loop hole in the employment contracts." Mike fell into step as they headed towards Harvey's office.

"It's not MUCH but…"

"It's all we need to put doubt." Harvey finished. "This is good work."

"I know."

"Don't get too cocky, though. You need to be prepared."

"I do?"

"Of course, you're the one that's going to present this."

Mike smiled. Harvey usually made him take over things he wanted nothing to do with. This was something Harvey had personally took over, so it gave Mike a little boost in his step that Harvey wanted him to take the reins.

"Well then let's go over any other detail we might need."

They entered the court room, Harvey first with an air of confidence and Mike following close behind, with a slight smile on his face.

Opposing council glance over at them, Bert Feins, from a firm that has been trying to take some clients of theirs recently. The firm is also notorious for trying to push back trials so the costs are higher (and they just flat out aren't prepared).

He seemed perfectly calm as Harvey approached, but eyed Mike.

"Not your usual to bring along a sidekick," Bert commented, looking the young man up and down.

"Not only do I have one with me," Harvey responded, "but he will be the one to take you down."

He pulled out the chair for Mike to sit in the "first".

Berts eyes looked around the room and then back at Harvey. "What? The great Harvey Specter is too afraid to take me on?" He challenged.

Harvey kept his cool.

"Not only could I take you on, I'm here to prove even my associate could beat you."

"You can't have him take this, why switch?"

"There is nothing saying we can't."

Bert seemed to be searching his mind for a reason- but he finally relented. He went back to eyeing the young man who he clearly thought should not be there.

Mike sat down and then scooted himself under the desk. He took the water pitcher and poured himself a cup. His mouth was already dry from his nerves.

"You shouldn't drink that," Harvey advised. "Never drink anything in court. Gives off the illusion of nerves."

"That's not an illusion," Mike retorted, drinking it while looking right at him. He quickly made a face.

"What?"

"I shouldn't have drank it because it tastes like they got this from the East River."

"Probably from the metal pitcher," Harvey nodded at where the water was sitting.

"I need water to help me from this water."

"All rise."

It was too late for that. The courtroom doors shut and everyone in attendance stood for the judge.

"You may be seated."

Harvey opened his folder to pull out the paperwork that was prepared, giving it to Mike.

"Your honor, before we get too far, we would like to submit a motion to dismiss" Bert started, holding up some papers.

And there it is- Harvey thought. The delay tactic.

"On what grounds?" Mike challenged.

"On the grounds that the documents you hold were illegally obtained."

"Absolutely not," Harvey snorted.

"Our documents were obtained by our client," Mike defended. "It's simply there in the employee handbook, and they were an employee. Everyone is given a copy."

Bert kept glancing around, Harvey observed.

Was he waiting for something? Like he was stalling for something or maybe someone?

"If the documents were given to the employee, and the employee is their client, then I don't see how the documents were illegally obtained. Motion denied," the judge ruled. She already looked tired. "So let's begin."

"Well since Mr. Feins brought up the documents, I would like to present them," Mike said- standing up and picking them from his desk. A swimming noise flooded his ears for a moment as he felt a little lightheaded by his quick movement.

He shook his head "straight" and didn't waver in his step as he presented the paperwork to the judge for her to look over what was marked.

"Stanley Corp states in their contract that purchasing stock in the company is NOT required by employees, and if they don't, they will be paid the money out. It is not required to be a shareholder, your honor. We simply want what our client has earned."

After the papers exchanged hands, Mike turned back to see if Bert was sweating at all.

Except his vision blurred, the room tilted and he stumbled as he turned. He held himself upright, though.

Harvey rose from his chair at his associates erratic movement.

"Mr. Ross, are you alright?" The judge inquired.

Mike didn't answer though as he was trying to make his way back to his seat.

"Mr. Ross?"

Mike couldn't make out her words though. It sounded like someone calling to him while he was underwater…

His head was swimming.

What was wrong with him? He felt fine only a few moments ago…

"Mike?"

Someone was at his side, grabbing his arm- trying to lead him. Taking his weight.

It didn't help, it just threw him more off balance, and he was just so tired all of a sudden. The last clear thought in his head was I've felt like this before…

"Mike!"

"Harvey?" Mike seemed completely out of sorts to him. "I… feel drugged…" he managed to sputter out.

Harvey had his hand under Mike's arm, and looked at the young man in time to see his eyes roll as their lids closed, and down he went.

The older man quickly wrapped his other arm around his associate to guide him to the floor so he didn't smack his head on it.

The judge and Bert both stood to view what had happened, the 4 onlookers in the room also stood, and the bailiff rushed over, calling on the walkie for assistance in the situation.

Harvey glanced around. Drugged?

"Is he alright?" The judge asked.

The bailiff had felt for a pulse and opened Mikes lids- where his eyes simply rested. But the young man didn't stir.

"His pulse is only slightly elevated," he responded. "But he is OUT."

"Did he say something about drugged?" the judge now directed to Harvey.

"He DID say that…" Harvey looked to the only thing that could have done it. He took the water that was at their table.

"He said the water tasted bad," Harvey looked around at the onlookers. No one he knew.

Someone doesn't drug and then stay… unless….

"Mr. Feins… you were pushing to extend this. To stall."

"What are you trying to say, Spectre?"

"When I first came in the room, you seemed surprised that I wasn't alone. Then you seemed to egg me on when you realized I was letting the kid drive. Like you wanted it to just be me. You ask for a motion that you knew would be shut down, but that was more to stall- but what would have happened if both of us drank the water?" Harvey quickly delivered and inquired.

Reins glanced around, "that's is quite the accusation."

"I'm guess you were unprepared. Tried something to gain you more time, a trick that your predecessor once used, but it was pushed aside as a fainting spell." Harvey looked down at his unconscious friend. "But Mike has been through this before."

Help was now rushing in, as two EMTs dropped to look Mike over.

"Mr. Spectre, are you suggesting that Mr. Reins drugged your water?" The judge asked. "This is a serious accusation."

Harvey ignored the judge for a moment, keeping his eye on Bert, almost afraid to look away, that he might try to run.

"What would have happened if we both drank it?" Harvey asked him.

"This is ridiculous…" Bert looked to the judge, "your honor this is absurd."

"You're right," Harvey agreed, walking over to the table and picking up the cup, pouring just a bit more water into it.He extended it to Bert. "So prove me wrong."

"Your honor!"

"Prove me wrong and we can continue with the case…" Harvey said.

"But your associate-"

"-Is in good hands. I can't help in his current state. So drink this, prove me wrong or let's just continue the trial…" Harvey challenged.

Bert looked at the EMT's who has walked a stretcher in to take Mike out of the room.

He then looked to the judge, who had an eyebrow raised. If of anything, she was definitely entertained by the scene.

"Drink it, Mr. Reins," she told him. "Just prove him wrong."

Bert took the cup and looked at it… "I…I can't."

"What's in it?" Harvey asked.

"I-" Bert looked around again and backed up. Harvey didn't give him a chance to move as he grabbed him by his collar.

"Bailiff!" The Judge called.

The Bailiff moved to separate the two.

"What IS it?" Harvey demanded again.

"GHB" Bert sputtered out. Harvey threw him back.

"Well I've heard enough. Bailiff take Mr. Reins." The judge announced. "You got the extra time your case needed, but you'll be too busy dealing with a case of your own." She informed the cowardly lawyer.

Harvey followed the EMT's out of the room, leaving the mess behind him.

Mike heard a hushed voice speaking before he even opened his eyes.

Light flooded in as he hissed at the brightness.

"Well, look who's back."

He squinted, letting his eyes get used to the room. Harvey was sitting in a chair next to the gurney, phone in hand.

"He's awake. I'll let you know when we are on our way back," he said into the phone, as he tapped to end the call.

"Harvey… where are we?"

"Just a break room. Once the EMT's saw your vitals were fine, I told them a hospital trip was unnecessary…"

Mike squeezed his eyes shut again, then opened looking at the older man.

"What happened?"

"What do you remember?"

"I have the judge the folder…" Mike couldn't seem to remember anything else past that, but Harvey could tell he was trying.

"You passed out, kid." He finished for him.

"…the water."

"It tasted bad for a reason." Harvey leaned towards him. "Bert put something in it. He was stalling for there to be an incident so the case would be pushed back. You complicated things."

"He wanted to drug you…" Mike realized.

"So when I showed up with a plus one, he wasn't too happy."

"That's some crazy tactic." Mike pushed himself to sit better. "Why haven't we thought of it yet?" He joked.

"Because we haven't needed it," Harvey said with a smile, helping Mike up to his feet. Mike wavered slightly. "You alright?"

"I'm fine… just feel really tired."

"Well let's get you out of here then," Harvey led him towards the door.

"What would have happened if we both drank it?" Mike speculated.

"You know.. I asked the same thing."

Hope you liked it (the first one is short I know).

Which scenario should I write next?

*in order to strong-arm Harvey in a compromising situation- Donna and Mike are kidnapped.

*the defendant that Harvey just won against, is ruined. He goes to shoot Harvey and Mike steps in.

Do you have an idea of your own? Send it to me!
