Chapter Fifteen: A Woman's Touch
Back in the palace, Amy, Cream, Tikal and Rouge were actually watching the fight with Infinite, through the Master Emerald.
"Infinite has become unstoppable!" Cream feared.
"He has absorbed every energy that the Emeralds have! This is not a good sign at all." Rouge stated.
"Does that mean there is no future for me and Sonic? We finally get together, just for it to end like this, so soon?" Amy sobbed.
"Now, that is complete nonsense. There is a way to stop him." Tikal mentioned.
"There is a way to stop him?!" Cream wondered.
"But, how is that possible?!" Rouge added.
"Infinite has absorbed all the energy from the Chaos Emeralds, and has used the Master Emerald's power to grant it to have no limits!" Amy sobbed.
"As true as that may be, Amy, don't you remember what Tails once said?" Tikal started.
"What do you mean?" Amy wondered.
"You know, how when Chaos only used the negative power of the Chaos Emeralds?" Tikal continued.
"What's your point here, Tikal?" Rouge asked impatiently.
"My point is, Rouge, he only used the negative power of the Emeralds, which in theirs, and our case, we can still harness their REAL power." Tikal explained.
"I think Tails told me about this before. Fighting Chaos, he explained how Chaos used the powers for negativity, and he said about us being positive will make them work, when we put our hearts together for the power." Cream mentioned.
"Now that you mention it, I do remember Tails saying this!" Amy exclaimed happily.
"Exactly, Cream! And now that us four have developed a new kind of bond for them, it is more than enough power, to be able to bring the Emerald's powers back." Tikal stated.
"So, what you're telling us, is that true love is what is going to power these Emeralds?" Rouge asked.
"That is exactly it, Rouge. What people never knew, is that true love is the most powerful thing in the world, even more powerful than Infinite's current form." Tikal smiled.
"OK, so what exactly do we have to do?" Amy wondered.
"Well, all we have to do, ladies, is that we hold hands in front of the Master Emerald, and we concentrate hard, and put our positive thoughts, and our hearts into our prayers. This will alert the Master Emerald that we're doing what is right, and we need the Chaos Emerald's powers to stop this." Tikal explained.
"Adding a woman's touch to this battle. I like it!" Rouge teased.
"Well, we better make sure Amber is safe. Because it's raining heavily." Cream mentioned.
Suddenly, Radger came back into the palace, with Amber. Tikal sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness, my baby is safe!" Tikal thanked.
"Radger, no time to explain, take Amber to her crib, and keep an eye on her. Me and the girls have got something we need to do." Amy demanded.
"Right away, Miss Rose." Radger answered.
With that, Radger took Amber to her bedroom. And then the four women looked up towards the alter, where the Master Emerald was sitting. They all began to walk up towards it.

The four finally made it in front of the Master Emerald. And they all glared into it, seeing that it was just barely glowing. But Tikal knew what she was talking about, so the other three took her word for it.

All the women took a hold of one another's hands, and they all closed their eyes, and concentrated hard. Using their thoughts, and their hearts towards the Master Emerald, with positive thoughts.

From a broken world to a broken heart
You'll finish what you start in everything

"The servers are the seven Chaos. Chaos is power. Power is enriched by the heart. The controller serves to unify the Chaos! Master Emerald, we need to protect this world! Please, hear our thoughts, prayers, and hearts! You have to ease up on Infinite's power, and restore the power to the Chaos Emeralds! We will NOT use it for negativity, instead, not just for positivity, but for love as well!" Tikal prayed.

(Cream singing)
Like the river rolls towards the sea

(Amy singing)
But things are going to change

After five minutes of waiting, the Master Emerald never changed. Until just now, the Master Emerald started glowing a lot brighter. The four women opened their eyes, and noticed the bright glowing light coming from the Master Emerald.

I'm moving closer to our glory

"What is happening here?!" Cream wondered.
"You will see, Cream. Look outside." Tikal smiled.
"Huh?" Rouge was confused.
"What do you mean?" Amy thought.
The four ladies looked outside of the window, and they all saw the seven Chaos Emeralds regaining their powers. Amy, Cream, and Rouge gasped in surprise. And meanwhile, back in the battle field, as the Emeralds were regaining their powers, it made a noise, which alerted Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow. This even caught Infinite's attention.
"What the hell?!" Shadow stated.
"The Emerald's have come to life!" Tails added.
"But, how is this even possible?!" Sonic asked in shock.
"And look up there! Infinite is growing weaker!" Knuckles pointed out.
"What is going on here?! I feel strong, but I don't feel as strong as I was! Why is this happening?!" Infinite complained.
Sonic then walked towards the Chaos Emeralds, and he raised his hand towards them. The Emeralds then started to float their way towards Sonic, and then Sonic was leading them towards Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow.
"The Emeralds have regained their power! Now, it is time to end this!" Sonic told them.
"OK, I will help!" Tails stated.
"All the way to the end!" Knuckles added.
"We will end this son of a bitch, and continue making this world a happier place, just like Maria wanted!" Shadow finished.
The seven Emeralds floated all around the four, in a circle. Then Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow begin to float upwards. Sonic's quills pointed upwards, and his eyes turned crimson red, and his blue fur then turned gold.
Tails' eyes also turned crimson red, and his fur turns pale gold. Knuckles' eyes turned crimson red also, and his dreadlocks pointed upwards, and his fur turned into a shiny lilac colour. And lastly, Shadow's eyes remained the same colour, and his black fur turns into a pale gold colour.
"How is this possible?!" Infinite feared.
"How is this possible, you ask?!" Shadow started.
"I think I know how now! I have said many years ago, that evil only use the negative power of the Emeralds! But with our positive thinking, it'll make these Emeralds powers work! And our hearts together, will form the most awesome power!" Tails mentioned.
"And I also believe, with our new found love for the women we are with, Tikal made a prayer to the Master Emerald, so they could help restore the Chaos Emerald's power, so we can finally end you!" Knuckles added.
"Just goes to show you, true love can overcome anything, and everything against us! Even against you, Infinite! This was a decision I should have made many years ago, and right now, I am glad this decision has been made, because I have never felt more powerful before!" Sonic finished.
"That is nonsense! Love is for the weak! It is a pathetic emotion, that only will end up tearing your heart apart eventually!" Infinite stated.
"So if that's the case, Infinite, where is your power now? How were the Chaos Emeralds restored? How are we more powerful than you, now?" Shadow asked, while smiling with confidence.
"Because without your unlimited power, your power means nothing!" Tails added.
"And us four, against one of you, you will have no chance to beat us!" Knuckles stated.
"And right now, guys, we better get ready to do this! We will show Infinite the real super power of teamwork! And not just the true power of teamwork, but also, the real super power, of true love!" Sonic finished.
"Damn right there, Sonic! This wouldn't be possible, without the women's help!" Shadow complimented.
"And I am not holding anything back, Infinite! I will not give up, until you have been defeated, and is gone from this world!" Tails warned.
"That's the spirit, Tails!" Knuckles complimented.
"And right now, this ends, TONIGHT!" Sonic finished.
And with that, their super form's auras were glowing brighter, and this blinded Infinite. And after that, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow all charged towards Infinite. Amy, Cream, Tikal and Rouge watched on, and cheered on for their men.
"Come on, Tails! You can do this! Show that creep who's boss!" Cream called.
"Knock him dead, Shadow! Show him what my black stallion can do!" Rouge cheered on.
"We will be at peace once again, once this fighting is over, Knuckles! Stop Infinite at all cost, and then we can continue to be a family, with Amber!" Tikal stated.
"You can do it, Sonikku! I believe in you! Defeat that creep as soon as you can, and then we can be together, forever!" Amy finished the cheering.
The final showdown is just under way. Will the heroes be able to stop Infinite for good? And is true love really the answer to why their gained this power? At this moment, it really didn't matter whether that was the case or not, the only thing that matters now, is to defeat Infinite, and stop his evil ways.
While this fight was going on, Radger knew what was going on with the battle, so he tried as hard as he could to comfort Amber, making sure she did not cry, and to try and keep her calm. All they can do now, is hope, and pray that Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow defeat Infinite's reign of terror.
And even if they do win, has Tails' lie detector really convinced the President, and the people of Station Square that Sonic is innocent?"
