Chapter Sixteen: Ready. Aim!
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow were now in their super forms, which were resurrected by the positive thoughts, and the love from their women, and now they are all fighting against Infinite, whose powers have been weakened by the Master Emerald's power.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Shadow were all exchanging blows to Infinite. Punches and kicks, which this time really has a strong affect on him. The women watched on, and cheered heavily for the men.
"They have got this!" Cream exclaimed happily.
"I'm sure they have this in the bag!" Rouge added
"They can, and they will!" Tikal smiled.
"Sonikku!" Amy called.
Back at the fight, Sonic was floating in the air, and smiled confidentially.
"Face it, Infinite! You're finished!" Sonic stated.
"I am not finished! I will not let any of you defeat me, after everything I've worked so hard for!" Infinite snapped.
"Well, shame really, because you don't have much of a choice!" Tails mentioned.
"Either give up, or there will be a lot more where that came from!" Knuckles added.
"Even if I have to Chaos Blast your ass, and finish you off right here, right now!" Shadow warned.
"This cannot be happening!" Infinite feared.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow continued to exchange blows towards Infinite, which Shadow also shot multiple Chaos Spears towards him. Each hit made Infinite grunt, and groan in pain. The women watched on, and prayed, and hoped they will win.
Tikal walked towards the balcony, and gazed her eyes towards Knuckles. She smiles happily, as the happy thoughts came to her head, thinking about her wedding with Knuckles, the day she gave birth to Amber at the hospital, and the life they have now.

(Tikal singing)
This whispered silently
I locked him out, but still he finds the key
An uninvited guest, he leaves my mind in disarray

Rouge then joins Tikal on the balcony, which catches Tikal's attention. Tikal just smiles, as she knew she was there to cheer on Shadow. Rouge closed her eyes, and remembers the moment with Shadow during the events of Soleanna.
(Flashback)
Shadow was walking towards his next adventure, while Rouge and Gamma were behind him, watching on.
"Shadow, even if you believe the whole world will turn against, just know that I'll always remain by your side. Remember that." Rouge told him.
Shadow suddenly stopped walking, and he slowly turns his head to face Rouge. Shadow nods his head.
"I will." Shadow replied.
(End of Flashback)
Rouge then opens her eyes, and she then gazed her eyes towards Shadow, who she was glad that he remembered that Rouge was always going to remain by his side. Rouge smiled warmly.

But I won't let him stay
His time is running out and soon he'll find out
The gates of hell shall not remain

With Knuckles, he was flying all around Infinite, placing multiple punches. Including hooks, uppercuts, straight forward, and even to the back of the head. Each hit made Infinite groan in pain, and even cuts him at a few places.

(Knuckles singing)

Following Knuckles, was Shadow, who was throwing multiple Chaos Spears towards Infinite. Which again, Infinite groans in pain with each hit. Shadow smiled confidentially, as he threw them towards Infinite.

(Shadow singing)
And this time I've surrendered my soul
To the one who's in control
I'm coming at you Darkness
To take back what you've stole
.
Cream then made her way towards the balcony, and she gazed her eyes towards Tails. Tails was within ten feet away from infinite, and he used tail whips, which then shoots multiple bolts of lightning towards Infinite. Each hit felt like a bull whip cracking against the skin. Cream smiles warmly.

(Cream and Tails singing)
We're never alone, oh this light has shone
From these hills we've seen as the angels they sing
This beautiful victory
.
And lastly, Amy made her way towards the balcony, and gazed her eyes towards Sonic. Sonic then builds up speed, and circles around Infinite. This caused Infinite to spin on the spot, and Sonic threw multiple punches, and kicks towards him. Infinite not only groaned in pain, but he was screaming as he was being forcefully spun around on the spot. Amy smiles at the sight of Sonic winning.

You only bring me shame
Don't even say my name

After that, Infinite collapsed to the ground, and he was panting heavily.
"How can this be?! How can I lose to these weaklings?! I am Infinite, and I should be invincible!" Infinite stated in anger.

(Amy and Sonic singing, and Infinite yelling)
This is the end, the end of your reign (THE END OF YOUR REIGN
.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow then floated downwards, and stare at Infinite, who was still laying on the ground, groaning in pain.

(Sonic and Amy singing)

(Tails and Cream singing)
And this time I've surrendered my soul

To take back what you've stole

Sonic walks towards Infinite, and dropped to both knees. Infinite looks up, and he stares at Sonic right in the eyes. Sonic glared angrily at Infinite, and Infinite pants heavily.

(Sonic and Amy singing)
With love by our side, we're warriors for the day
Arm in arm, this war is coming
.
"Oh, there is a war, alright! If you think you have won this, think again!" Infinite chuckles.
Infinite then flies into the air, and he raises both arms into the air. A huge energy ball, that has a purple aura, and was red and black was growing from above Infinite's head. He chuckles evilly.

(Infinite yelling)
You're running for the monster
Ready. Aim!
.
"What the hell is he doing?!" Shadow thought in fear.
"He's going to blow the planet up, if that hits!" Knuckles mentioned.
"Oh, great!" Tails stated, in sarcasm.
"How the hell are we gonna manage this?!" Sonic wondered.

(Infinite yelling)
You're running toward the monster
Ready. Aim!
.
Shadow then collapsed to all fours, and pounded the ground in anger.

(Shadow singing)
Too long you've controlled my mind

Sonic then placed his hand on Shadow's shoulder. Shadow then looked up, and saw Sonic looking at him in the eyes. Sonic looked at him with confidence.

(Sonic singing)
And this time I've surrendered my soul
To the one who's in control
I'm coming at you Darkness
To take back what you've stole
.
"Guys, whether he's about to blow this planet up, or not, we cannot just stand here, and let this happen! We have to try what we can, to stop this from happening! If we don't, then we'll die not trying, because if we act now, at least we'll die trying!" Sonic mentioned.
"Sonic is right! We have to do this, and do this now!" Tails added.
"I'm in no way in hell going down, without a fight!" Knuckles snarled.
"And you know what, neither am I! I am still the Ultimate Lifeform! Shadow the Hedgehog!" Shadow mentioned.
"SAY GOODNIGHT, DO GOODERS!" Infinite yelled.
And after that, he then threw the giant energy ball down towards the island. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow flew up towards it, and they all placed their hands on the ball, trying their best to prevent it from hitting the ground.
"Come on Tails! Don't give up, now!" Cream cheered.
"You can do this, Shadow!" Rouge called.
"For the sake of Amber's future, you have to do this, Knuckles!" Tikal pleaded.
"YOU CAN DO IT, SONIC!" Amy yelled.

(Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Cream, Tikal and Rouge singing)

The energy ball was slowly getting lower, as this was going on. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow were all groaning, and struggling to keep this up.
"Ah! It's no good, guys! It won't move back up!" Tails stated.
"Now what are we supposed to do?! We can't let this end like this!" Knuckles stated in fear.

(Infinite yelling)
You're running for the monster
Ready. Aim!

"I guess I will be seeing Maria Shortly after all." Shadow sadly stated.
"Well, at least we didn't give up, even at the end." Sonic added.
.
(Infinite yelling)
You're running toward the monster
Ready. Aim!
.
Suddenly, there was an airship making its way towards the fight. This looks exactly like the Egg Carrier, during the events with Chaos. Inside was Dr. Eggman, and he was with the Chief of the Station Square Police Department, Richard Bradshaw, and the President of Station Square.

(Dr. Eggman yelling)
Ready. Aim!
(Bradshaw yelling)
Ready. Aim
.
"FIRE!" Eggman and Bradshaw yelled.
And after that, he fired a huge laser beam towards Infinite, and Infinite at the last second turned his head, and saw the laser coming towards him. And the laser hits Infinite, and Infinite's mask flew off his face, and he was suddenly no longer in his super form.
Infinite, now unmasked, has a white scar on his right eye, a white snout, his left iris was yellow, and his right iris was blue. As he growled in anger, he also shows his fangs.
"EGGMAN!" Infinite yelled in anger.
The energy ball was now feeling a lot lighter for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow.
"Guys! The ball is lighter!" Tails mentioned.
"Great! Eggman was here to help us!" Knuckles added.
"Well, just the help we needed!" Shadow exclaimed.
"EVERYONE, NOW IS OUR CHANCE! CHARGE YOUR ENERGY UP, NOW!" Sonic yelled.
The four then charged their energies up, and then shortly after, they all yelled as forcefully as they could, and then the energy ball was now shooting upwards, towards Infinite. Infinite, who was no longer in his super form was looking on in fear, as he can't control this energy ball anymore.
"NO! NOT LIKE THIS!" Infinite pleaded.
The ball got closer, and closer to Infinite, and as soon as it touched him, Infinite was getting pushed back into the sky. It pushed him so far back, and so fast, he was through the ozone layer, and was launched into outer space, into a place that nobody would ever see him.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Infinite yelled.
And with that, Infinite has disappeared from the planet, and was never seen again. After that, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow formed together for a four way embrace, and they all floated downwards, and as soon as they all reached the ground, their super forms ended, but they remained in the embrace.
"It's finally over." Tails stated, with happy tears in his eyes.
"Amber is going to grow into an adult after all." Knuckles added, as tears fell from his eyes too.
"Maria, I have kept my promise to you, once again, no matter how hard this was." Shadow stated to himself, happy tears falling from his eyes.
"And now, we can live in peace." Sonic was thankful, as tears fell from his eyes.
They all released the embrace. And they heard cheering making their way towards them. They all turned around, and saw that it was Amy, Cream, Tikal, and Rouge running towards them. Rouge hugged Shadow, Tikal hugged Knuckles, Cream hugged Tails, and Amy hugged Sonic. And of course, the four guys returned the hug.
"Knuckles, you did it!" Tikal sobbed.
"No, Tikal. WE did it!" Knuckles stated happily.
"You had me worried, Tails!" Cream mentioned.
"I'm sorry, Cream. But I promise, I'm fine." Tails comforted.
"Shadow, you kept your promise to Maria. But you also kept your promise to me. You never forgot that I was always going to be by your side." Rouge sobbed happily.
"I never forgot that, Rouge. Even since Soleanna, it never escaped my mind." Shadow mentioned.
"So glad you're safe, Sonikku. I thought I was going to lose you for a moment there." Amy sobbed.
"I ain't going anywhere, Ames. I'm immortal, until I die of natural causes. It's gonna take more than this to finish me." Sonic mentioned.
"Sonic the Hedgehog!" the voice of the President was heard.
Sonic released his embrace from Amy, and he turned around to face him.
