Quirk: Lightning Rod, she can absorb electricity and release it out. She can also supercharge items and weapons to make them more powerful. Of course there's a limit to how much she can store and if she uses her quirk too much she'll get dizzy. She also can't make her own electricity.

It was a normal day in Japan, well, as normal as a superhuman society can get, and no one working harder today than Mika Takamori. Mika is a top Hero Support Item Creator at the Yoshimoto Factory, one of the top players in support item production.

Mika and her co-workers are constantly creating new and innovative items for pro heroes to use and have even been recommended and sponsored by popular heroes. Today Mika is working on a device that can paralyze villains without harming them. It's almost ready but it needs to be tested first.

While working, her co-worker, Nakao Haruhiko, came up and tapped her shoulder. "Takamori-san," He said. "it's time for lunch! You wanna eat with me?"

Mika stopped working and pushed her goggles up. "Sure!" She said. "That sounds nice." Together they walked to the lunch area and sat down. Mika opened her lunch box and pulled out some tempura. "So Haruhiko-kun, how's that air gun coming along?" Said Mika as she pulled out her chopsticks.

"It's going along ok, but it's still not powerful enough yet." Replied Nakao.

"I can charge it up for you if you want" Said Mika, extending her arm.

"As impressive as your power is, it doesn't last forever. I need a more permanent solution for this problem." He Said.

"I think the boss is bringing in some new batteries, maybe they can help you!" She proposed.

"That's a good idea! Thanks Takamori-san!"

Suddenly an alarm went off and a voice broke over the room.

"ATTENTION! THE FACILITY IS BEING ATTACKED BY VILLAINS! EVERYONE EVACUATE, SOME HEROES WILL COME TO SOLVE THE ISSUE!"

Mika and Nakao looked at each other in horror. While their line of work does involve helping heroes fight crime, they have never been in contact with villains before. The two got up from their seats and ran for the exit. Before they could make, Mika noticed a villain in the corner of her eye about to attack someone.

When she turned around she saw a fellow co-worker cowering in fear as she was about to be sliced in half by the villains blade. "TOKU-CHAN!" She thought in her head as she turned around to help.

"W-what are you doing Takamori-san?! We're supposed to run!" Nakao yelled at her, in panic.

"But that's Toku-chan!" She yelled back. "We're out in the country, so the heroes aren't gonna be here yet! Someone has to save her now!" Ignoring Nakao's pleas, she ran towards the villain with her hands out. Before the villain had time to react, Mika grabbed his back and let loose all her stored up electricity.

The villain fell to the ground, out cold. The cowering girl looked up to see her savior. "Thank you Mika-chan!" Said the girl.

"Not a problem!" Replied Mika. While her co-worker left the area, Mika wondered if there were other people trapped by villains inside the factory. Like toku, she was good friends with most of them and didn't want to see them get hurt.

Determined to help her friends, Mika ran to her work desk to grab some equipment she had been working on, including the not yet tested paralysis gun. She also broke some cables and sent a current of electricity into her body so she could use her power if she needed to.

With everything she needs, Mika runs out of the workshop to find some people. Not too far away she hears some cries for help. She runs into a room to find a villain holding three people in his extremely long hair.

"You!" She cries. "Let them go!" The villain turns around to see her. His hostages are surprised but delighted to see her. "A hero!?" The villain cried in shock. "They're not supposed to be here yet!"

The Villain was frightened by this development, however upon closer inspection he discovered that she wasn't a pro hero. "Oh!" The villain said. "So you're just a child playing vigilante huh? Well then, I can just dispose of you easily."

"Don't be so sure!" Cried Mika as she raised her weapon. The villain laughs as he sends his hair flying at her. Mika activates her pistol and sends a burning laser through the waves of hair, cutting through it instantly.

However the hair grows back as soon as it was cut. "Hahahaha! Sorry girlie, but that's not gonna work on me." The Villain taunts as he sends another wave of hair towards Mika. Mika Fires another blast but the hair grew back again.

Mika then gets an idea. She sends electricity into her gun and aims for the villains scalp. She fires an even bigger blast towards the villain, incinerating the hair coming at her and hits his scalp. The villain cries in pain as all of his hair is burned off.

The villain releases his grip on the hostages and falls to the ground, beaten. Mika's co-workers ran towards her and expressed their deepest thanks to her.

Before they leave, one of the workers explains they overheard that the villains came to steal a super weapon and took the person who knew the password to access it with them.

Knowing where that was, she thanked the worker and headed down there. Once she was there, she saw the boss of the operation and two underlings trying to break into the vault.

She also saw her co-worker tied up in the corner shaking in fear. Mika carefully snuck her way over to the lady to free her without getting caught. However, one of the villains sees her with it's third eye and shouts at the boss. The boss, a behemoth of a man, turns to see Mika finish untying her co-worker.

"Leave now!" Mika says, grabbing her pistol. "I'll hold them off!" The co-worker nodded as she ran. One of the henchmen shoots a ball of energy at Mika. She presses a button on her chest and activates a shield before it hits her.

"Well now," Says the boss in a threatening tone. "what's a girl like you doing playing hero? Don't you know you could get killed?"

"I just want to protect my friends!" Mika yells, tightening her grip on her pistol.

"If that's the case then you've succeeded!" the boss said. "However, you made us lose our chance to get the weapon easily, so I'm afraid I can't leave you alive. Boys, kill 'er." the boss turned his attention back to the door and the two henchmen charged at her. Mika shoots a burning laser at them, but one of the henchmen's skin turns into metal and deflects the attack.

The deflected shot make a hole in the wall near Mika, catching her off-guard. A ball of energy comes flying and she activates her shield just in time. The villain with metal skin starts to plow into her shield, forcing her to step back. Blow after blow the shield eventually breaks, and the villain punches Mika in the chest.

She cries out as she felt something break. The villain tries to punch her again but Mika catches his arm before it could land.

"So, you have metal skin huh? That just means it's super conductible to electricity!" Mika cries as she sends a jolt of electricity through him. He screams in pain as the currents go through him. The other henchman shoots a ball of energy but Mika dodges it, hitting the second henchman instead.

He falls to the ground, out cold. Mika takes a bottle from her belt and pours a sticky substance on him so he wouldn't escape. She turns to the last henchman and points her gun at him. She charges her gun and sends a high powered laser at him. He tried to escape but the laser was too big to dodge.

The laser blasts him into the wall, knocking him out as well. The boss turns around to see Mika pouring sticky liquid onto the other henchman. She sighs in relief, Thinking it was over. The boss, enraged his minions failed, slammed his fists into the ground. The floor crumbled as Mika lost her balance.

The boss villain then runs and grabs her. Before Mika can discharge her electricity, the boss throws her against the door to the safe. Mika coughs up blood as she stands up. She clutches her left arm in pain as she thinks about what to do now. She looks to her tool belt for ideas and sees her newly crafted paralysis gun.

"Should I use it?" she thought. "I haven't gotten it tested yet, but I'm getting beaten pretty bad. It might not even work, but if I don't do something I could die."

Mika decides to take the risk as the boss ran back at her. She aims her gun but the villain grabs her again and throws her. She hits a water tank which dislocates her left shoulder. Despite the pain she aims her gun and fires. The pellet hits the mans chest. It seemed like it didn't work as he charged at her again.

Mika closes her eyes, waiting for the devastating impact, but it didn't come. He looks and sees the villain on his knees twitching, trying to move. Now that she has time Mika grabs a blade from her belt and slashes open the tank. water pours out, soaking Mika and the villain. With the last of her strength, Mika sends out all of her stored up electricity onto the villain.

The boss cries out like a dying animal before succumbing to the damage. Mika lets a weak smile form on her lips as the fighting was over. She collapses to the ground, dizzy and bleeding. She sees a bunch of figures burst into the room before she passes out. When she comes to she found herself laying in a hospital bed with a sling on her left arm.

She hears voices coming from her right, so she turns to see who it is. I was a detective talking with her doctor, and with him was none other than the no. 7 hero, Kamui Woods looking concerned.

He looks over to see that Mika was awake and sat by her bed. "Ma'am," He says, looking ashamed. "I'm deeply sorry that I wasn't there to protect you. If I had gotten there sooner you wouldn't have had to fight back."

Mika brows furrowed together. "Wait," She said, confused. "you know about that?"

"Of course!" exclaimed Kamui Woods. "The police got testimony from your co-workers that you decided to fight the villains on your own!"

Mika looks down. "Am I in trouble?" She asks.

"No." He said, confusing Mika. "It sounded like you were trying to protect your co-workers and yourself, so we consider that self-defense. However, next time leave the saving to the pros alright?"

Mika smiled. "Yes sir!" She said.

A couple of weeks wen by and she went back to work. When she entered the factory however, everything was dark. Suddenly the lights turned on and inside revealed a party.

"WELCOME BACK MIKA-CHAN!" Everyone shouted. Mika was stunned.

"I-wh-wha?" She stammered.

"This is a party for you, Takamori-san!" Said Nakao, handing her a slice of cake. "It's the least we can do to say thanks for saving us and the factory."

"YEAH!" Toku shouted! "Thank you for saving me, Mika-chan!"

"You're the coolest person ever!" "I owe you everything" "Your gadgets are incredible!" "I'm proud to have you as a co-worker"

Mika's eyes began to water as she took the cake from Nakao.

"Everyone, thank you." She said, finally crying.

Afterwards Mika joined her co-workers for an awesome party. She may not be a official hero, but seeing everyone so happy made her feel like one.
