Seventeen years ago, a forbidden memory repressing jutsu was used to resurrect Rin in a deadly binding contract. At present day, under orders from her master and in exchange for her memories, she allies with the criminal organisation, Akatsuki to secretly spy on them for intel. But her duties come to a standstill when she falls for an enigmatic member of her team.

7. Proximity

For more than an hour, they walk a straight path to Fire's Edge, the slowness courtesy of Rin's injury and her inability to rely on herself for mobility purposes.

But her unfortunate situation stems from her discomfort with Tobi's proximity. Though he is focused and unfazed by her constant need to readjust her walking position, there is a foreign feeling she cannot comprehend.

Perhaps it is Tobi's sudden obedience or the act of helping her despite his discontentment?
