Chapter 6: Expanding territory
Neptune looks at Stacey and back to Staria, she patted Staria's head while holding her finger up to her mouth. "Stacey I want you to keep hush about this. Staria I'll drop by another time." said Neptune a bit sadly as she made her way from Staria's room, Stacey's mouth were agape, she only reccomended Staria because they were friends, never did she know her mother had been Neptune. "Lady SLime Heart wait up!" said Stacey walks out Staria's room. "Bye Stacey, I'll see you later" said Staria in her usual cold tone. "Bye Staria, yeah see you at lunch!" said Stacey as she made her way to Neptune.
Neptune had been leaning against the wall with her hands behind her back, she was waiting on Stacey, her eyes lands on Stacey as she looks at her, smiling she waves. "There you are, I knew you'd be right behind me." said Neptune as Stacey stood in front of her, the two made their way out the hideout and up on the surface, they took precaution when they came out and the entrance closed. "All clear" said Stacey looking at Neptune who had been walking around the forest some, she looked up at the trees trying to see how many fruit had gone, she noticed they were still there.
"Lady Slime Heart what are you looking for?" asked Stacey following her looking a bit confused. Neptune looked at her and made her way over to the farming area she had planted. "I'm checking our food resources to be sure everythings growing properly, say do you know where a nearby river might be?" asked Neptune, she knew where it were but she wanted to be sure Stacey knew. "It's about four miles from here, why do you ask?" said Stacey seeing the wheat and grains had been growing well. "Do you think we can get it nearby?' said Neptune giggling some. "Well..yeah but what for?" asked Stacey.
Neptune shrugged her arms some giggling walking in the direction of the river. "That's enough talking, let's go!" said Neptune as she started running, laughing as she went by, Stacey worriedly ran after her goddess, sure she knew Neptune was dependable but she was greatlyn worried the other nations and goddesses would try and come get Neptune whenever she was alone or worse whe she had been sleeping. "Lady Slime Heart please slow down!" begged Stacey jumping over a log, ducking under a tree branch and over a boulder. Neptune still laughing "Come on Stace, try to- whoa!" said Neptune as she fell in the pond,
"Lady Slime Heart!" shouted Stacey as she stopped at the edge, Neptune popped up for air coughing and gagging for air. She swam over to the edge where Stacey had quickly pulled her goddess fromt he water and began patting her back a bit violently. "Breath, breath!" said Stacey in a worried and panicky tone. "I can breath, I'm fine I'm fineee!" said Neptune laughing to herself a bit sre from the rough back pats not that it actually hurted too much. "That's good to hear, i thought we were going to lose you Lady Slime Heart" said Stacey letting out a low sigh. Neptune giggles and gives a thumbs up.
"We found the river, its right where you said it be!" said Neptune sitting up again, rubbing her cheek she wondered how they'd get the river near the entrances, she figured they might have need even more entrances near their base or they could just build another hideout. "Of course, it is did you think it be something else?" asked Stacey looking at the river and back to her goddess. "What are you thinking about?" asked Stacey. "I want to add more enteances near this river. We can use this to get water to our homes quicker other than waiting for us to bring the water with us." said Neptune.
"Hmm maybe we can build more homes."said Stacey looking at Neptune who stood up looking out to the river, she had been tapping her chin, looking at the trees near them and back to Stacey. "Come, let us get rid of thirty trees near this river." said Neptune opening her hand as she summoned her sword in her hand. Stacey looks at Neptune, grabbing her sword and points to the trees near the river "Lady Slime Heart are we removing these?" she asks a bit worriedly. Neptune smiles walking over to the trees "Yup!" said Neptune, the two started slicing up trees into smalll pieces of fire wood. At the end of the day they had made seven houses by the river along with plenty of fruit, and some fire wood to keep them warm. Neptune and Stacey went in one of the homes and fell asleep.
