Author's Note
In 2011 I was in a completely dark place in my life. I was in my third year of college four hours from my home and taking a full course of credits thanks to my newly declared math minor. To top it all off, I was having really bad anxiety about keeping up with school and my on-campus job, and it all flew to hell with a bad roommate.
Things got so bad that I had to move out and start therapy, and I thank God every day for the free counseling my university offered. But why bring this all up? Why does this matter for a Smallville fanfiction? Well, one way to cope was writing, and, specifically, fanfiction writing. My major was English education, so it made sense, but through my "bad times", I had lost my writing spirit. Going along at this time was the Marvel Cinematic universe coming into fruition. So, what do I do? I write a self-insert fanfiction, devising a clever plot using Watchers and reality traveling. (Or at least, I think it's clever. :D).
I've always wanted to share these stories, because they span a ton of time and I use an OC's powers, it's all jumbled up. I've never been good with sharing my writing, and luckily this site has given me that freedom to share, and so I want to share this latest creation in my fanfiction world.
Yes, Smallville is a DC comics thing, but that's not the point. I feel that I've done enough explaining to really branch these stories to my main MCU storyline. For some reason, I really want to share this story and I hope others enjoy it as much as I did writing it. It's an extremely far-fetched idea and I know that I might get some flack over "ooc" moments or whatever, but I don't care. I want to put this out there, and eventually put out my MCU stories as well.
I hope that you enjoy reading this. If you could, please leave a review, drop a question, perhaps a suggestion or two. I'll be uploading chapters every Tuesday, and hopefully soon I'll start out with the original story that started it all.
Names of real people have been changed, though some elements have remained the same. This is something that is just for fun, and it got me through the end of the last school year, so I really like it. :D
Thanks,
