Chapter 3: Crazy Introductions

Almost a week had passed before the Pradesh family were able to make it to Magnolia. It seemed like every time they would be able to leave someone approached them or called the embassy wanting to meet with Arman. The siblings would not leave without him though. Their father deserved to be there with them when they finally met Bickslow again, and honestly Bickslow deserved that too.

So here they were almost a week later, finally walking down the streets of Magnolia toward the Fairy Tail guildhall. They were excited and nervous, though they all hid the nervousness well. They had no idea what to expect and had to do their best not to flat out run - or teleport - straight there. Doing their best to at least pretend to be soaking in the sights while they walked and chatted on a direct line to Fairy Tail.

With Bosco's ban on seith magic, just coming to Fairy Tail or even Magnolia was risky. They could be leading someone straight to Bickslow, but they had to believe that he was safe here. And they couldn't let the events at the palace be the last interaction between them. With that thought in mind they all seemed to pick up the pace if only slightly. Making it to Fairy Tail in no time they took a deep breath to steady themselves before opening the doors.

To say they were shocked would be an understatement.

It was almost pure chaos in the guild. There was a huge brawl in the middle that seemed to grow bigger by the second. There was a woman at the bar with what appeared to be a barrel of alcohol between her knees and another tilted upside down in her hands as she guzzled it down. On the other side of the bar there seemed to be dancing going on, the blonde from the palace moving her hips in a way that rivaled the Boscans' own dancing skills. In a different corner of the guild there was a little blue haired woman surrounded by books with two men behind her cheering her on.

The family just stood there stunned.

Kaleb?

Yes Farron?

What the hell did we just walk into?

I… I really don't know

Lucy was dancing by the bar thanks to a bet she lost with Gajeel. At least he wasn't singing and she wasn't in a bunny suit this time though. Turning around she saw 8 Boscans standing at the front of the guild, the doors still open behind them. She laughed a little at their stunned reactions, remembering the first time she had walked into Fairy Tail.

Deciding to rescue them she walked over to them, expertly evading the brawl and any bodies, limbs, or items that might head in her direction. Once she was standing in front of them she smiled and greeted them.

"Hi! Welcome to Fairy Tail! I have to say I'm surprised y'all came. Bix and I didn't think you actually would. But no matter, I'll go get him for you. Why don't you find a table to sit at, it's a little dangerous to just stand in the doorway."

They all dazedly nodded their heads so Lucy turned to walk away but was stopped when one of them grabbed her arm. Looking back she saw it was an older gentleman, so she assumed it was Bickslow's dad.

"What do you mean?"

"About what? Standing in the doorway? Most of our mages throw open those doors when they arrive, you could very well get hit. Also there is a brawl going on, objects and people get thrown constantly. It's not good to be in one spot too long, but a lot of the tables on the sides have been protected by Freed's runes."

"Not that. Bickslow didn't think we'd come?"

Oh. It would make sense that that was what the patriarch wanted to know about. Lucy smiled softly.

"Ambassador, Bosco's ban on seith magic has been lifted for a little over two years now. None of you reached out or anything. So Bix just assumed that he wasn't really a part of your lives anymore. He understands. When I extended that invitation for you to come I fully meant it, I just didn't expect you to accept."

The Ambassador's eyes were wide, and looking behind him so were the rest of the family's. Now Lucy was confused. It looked like they were shocked at something, she just didn't know what.

"The ban was lifted? How did I not know? Farron? Kaleb? Van? Did you hear anything?"

They shook their heads and Lucy's eyes widened in understanding.

"Two years? That's when the Steel Council was suddenly disbanded. Even with all my training as a bloodhunter I could never find out why or who caused it."

All eyes returned to Lucy.

"My dear, how is it that you know about the ban being lifted when we didn't?"

A hint of a smirk settled over Lucy's face as she remembered everything she did, but she quickly hid it before taking a step back so she could see everyone better.

"I'm the one that got it changed."

Lucy chuckled at their reactions.

"I'll get Bixy. Then we can talk."

They nodded their heads and Lucy once again turned to leave. The entire family watched as she expertly maneuvered into the brawl and then came back out dragging Bickslow by his ear.

"Ow. Babe what's up?"

"We have guests."

"Who's here?"

Lucy pointed to where the family was still standing in the entryway and Bickslow looked up and saw them, his jaw dropping slightly. Before he noticed their expressions and how they were watching Cosplayer in slight amazement. Chuckling he slung an arm over her shoulder as they walked back over to them.

"Fancy seeing you here. Welcome to Fairy Tail. Let's go find a table."

The family was finally led to a table and sat down only for Lucy to stand right back up as she sensed an incoming object. Turning around she saw it was a table and briefly wondered how they managed to find one that wasn't protected before kicking said table and sending it back toward the brawling mages.

"OKAY! WHO THREW THAT?"

Most of the mages immediately stopped sensing a dark aura and turned to see Lucy was borderline becoming Scary Lucy. They couldn't back away and point at Natsu and Gray fast enough.

"NATSU DRAGNEEL! GRAY FULLBUSTER! DID YOU JUST THROUGH THAT TABLE?"

Without looking up and realising the danger they were in, the two shouted in unison.

"GET LOST!"

"Excuse me."

Lucy was full on Scary Lucy and the boys finally noticed her presence. Both paled when they realised she was mad at them.

"H-hey Luce. What's up?"

"What's up? WHAT'S UP! Is that all you have to say for yourself Natsu? What have I told you about throwing the fucking tables? YOU ALMOST HIT ME YOU FLAME BRAIN!

And you. Gray, you know better than to encourage him. AND WHERE THE HELL ARE YOUR CLOTHES!"

Lucy huffed as she uncrossed her arms.

"We have guests and you two bakas almost hit them."

"Luc-"

"LUCY KICK!"

Both boys went flying into the opposite wall crashing through at least one pillar on the way. Once it was determined that both boys were down, Lucy walked back over to the table where Bickslow was cackling at the fate of the two idiots and his family were all watching her with mild trepidation.

"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Cosplayer. Celestial mage extraordinaire. She may be the Light of Fairy Tail but don't let that fool you. The women are the true monsters here."

Bickslow continued to cackle as Lucy elbowed him.

"Bix! Don't scare them away already. They just got here."

Bickslow didn't say anything. He was too busy trying not to fall out of his chair from the looks on his family's faces. Lucy huffed before turning back to the others.

"Anyway, what were we talking about?"

Lucy sat back down at the table with a bright smile on her face.

"Damn Stella. Remind me to never get on your bad side."

Lucy winked at who she now knew to be Vander, though that was the only one she knew.

"Miss Lucy. You were telling us about how you knew the ban on seith magic was lifted when we didn't."

Lucy nodded her head at the honey blonde man.

"Right. After Bix told me I was his soulmate we got to talking and he told me about how he was from Bosco but had to flee when the ban and kill order was put into effect. So I put my skills from my heiress days to use and well… let's just say both King Altiene and Grendance have a healthy fear of me now. Also that Grendance will not be escaping the hole I put him in anytime this century.

Anywho, you already know my name. What are all of yours?"

Everyone went around the table and introduced themselves as well as their magic.

"I'm Arman Pradesh. I'm a sound mage but I work as an Ambassador for Bosco."

"I'm Farron. I'm also a sound mage and Ambassador."

"I'm Emzadi. Solar dragon slayer."

"Hi! I'm Xally. Water mage and pediatrician."

"Zen. Archangel."

Lucy raised her eyebrow at that but didn't say anything.

"The name's Vander. Shadowquip mage and former bloodhunter for the Steel Council. I believe I have you to thank for my retirement."

Lucy nodded at the man but didn't say anything.

"I'm Cristoff. Lunar dragon slayer."

"I'm Kaleb. Mindbender and wielder of Immaculate light. Also the guildmaster of White Sea."

"It's nice to officially meet you all."
