Chapter 4: An Unwelcome Visitor

Before anyone else could say anything, little Asuka walked up to the table. She had certainly grown in the past few years but she was still just a kid.

"Hey Uncle Bickslow! Hi Auntie Lucy!"

"Hey kid. What's up?"

"Can I play with the Babies?"

The family watched as Lucy looked at Bickslow for only a second before speaking up. They didn't know who the little girl was but she had to be a member of the guild or a child of a member. Fairy Tail was known for being a family but they had thought those were just rumors. But here this little girl was, calling Bickslow her uncle. Well for all they knew she could be related. Maybe Lucy had family and the little girl was her niece?

"Sorry Sweetie maybe later. Bix and I need the Babies for a little while. I can summon Plue if you want though."

Asuka looked sad at first but quickly brightened at being able to spend some time with one of her favorite spirits.

"Can I play with Raion too?"

Lucy giggled.

"Sure Sweetheart."

There were two small flashes of light before a little snowman looking spirit and a lion cub appeared on the table before Lucy.

"Hey Plue! Hey Raion! How are you?"

"Pun Puun."

Lucy giggled again.

"I'm glad to hear it. Asuka wants to know if you want to play with her for a while."

The two small spirits quickly spun before pouncing on the little girl. All three running off to go play, leaving the adults to themselves again.

A couple hours went by with Bix and his family just catching up. Lucy stayed and got to know them as well though she was more focused on making sure Bix could reconnect with them than forming a connection of her own. The Raijinshuu did come sit with them as well though, being as they were also Bix's family.

The guild went silent though when the doors opened, revealing one of very very few people who were not welcome there. Ever.

"The magic council requests the immediate help of The Starbringer, Salamander, Stripper, and Titania."

Lucy froze hearing her name called before standing and turning to face the only man she could truly say she hated.

"I'm sorry Lahar. Did you just say the magic council requests help from Fairy Tail, and my team no less? Oh this has got to be good. Maybe after you fill us in on just what the hell has you stepping into this guildhall when you know you are not welcome here, you should go see if someone will jostle that stick up your ass so you can receive a little pleasure to make up for the pain of being here. Because if you stay too much longer you're sure to be in some."

"Miss. Heartphilia…"

"Pradesh."

Lahar narrowed his eyes ever so slightly.

"Fine. Miss Pradesh. If you could refrain from speaking like that it would be greatly appreciated. Actually if you could refrain from speaking at all that would be best. You wouldn't understand anyway. How you ever managed to change your name to Pradesh I will never understand. I am sure they would not want to associate with the likes of you."

The Pradesh family looked on in shock as the member of the magic council so blatantly insulted the blonde. While the rest of the guild started fuming.

"Excuse me. I must talk to your master about this mission I have been sent to request Fairy Tail's assistance on."

"No."

"No?"

"You heard me Lahar. No. You are not excused. You will not be stepping any further into our guild. And you will share the details of this mission with me and my team. You will do so right where you are standing in front of everyone. Your blatant disregard for my being aside you are not welcome here and it would only be under dire circumstances that you ever dared to step foot in our guild. So obviously the Magic Council is either fucking incompetant, which we all already know to be true, or you've majorly fucked up. From the rigidness of your stance you know as well as I do that your mere presence here is subject to make us attack after last time. Obviously you need our help and to make sure you get it you requested that I go stating it was an emergency knowing full well that I can't say no unless a medical professional has declared before the request is asked that I am unfit to go. And if I go, my team goes."

Lahar just stood there, mouth slightly agape. Lucy stalked closer to the councilman, her team flanking her while Erik and Macbeth stood off to the side ready to step in if needed.

"You'd better start talking, Captain. I have little patience when it comes to you and the longer you keep me waiting the more likely I am to look the other way when my brothers' magics start flying. None of them are afraid of going to or back to prison if it means putting you six feet under."

"There have been four demons causing trouble in a small village in the mountains outside of crocus. We were unable to learn if they were Zeref's demons or not. I was sent to ask your guild for help as you have fought many demons before."

"And you personally chose to request the help of my team hoping to be able to force us into either paying you for whatever damages we cause or shut us down. Hate to break it to you but since I started helping Laxus with the guild paperwork I now realize just how much you can't do that. I had knowledge before of how everything worked but I didn't know for sure because I didn't see the reports or anything. Now though, the council will not be happy with you when they get the bill from us because we are suing you and the council for harassment and unjust treatment. You will be forced to give us back everything that we unjustly had to pay for and then some.

You're dismissed, Lahar."

Lahar turned to leave but not before sneering at the blonde. He didn't even make it to the doors though when the blonde spoke again, though not to him.

"Does anyone know if Wendy is back from her mission yet? She's coming with us."

Before anyone could respond Lahar turned back around.

"You cannot take Miss Marvel with you. Only the requested mages may go."

Lucy turned to face him and you could see Demon Lucy just below the surface. Demon Lucy was far far worse than Scary Lucy. Scary Lucy had already come out to play but the Captain was digging himself a grave.

"Actually Captain, we can. She is our healer and it doesn't matter what mission you go on, requested or otherwise you are always allowed to bring your healer. Also I am pregnant. And you know it too. I will be taking a healer with me because I will not lose this one too. I lost the first one because of you and I will NOT lose this one, especially not because of you. Now, I do remember saying you were dismissed. You have ten seconds before I let my brothers have their way with you."

Lahar stood there stunned but only for a second as Natsu, Gray, Erik, and Macbeth dropped into battle stances and readied their magic as Lucy started screaming.

"GET OUT!"

The usually well composed councilman scurried out of the guild, the doors slamming shut in his wake.
