Hi vampires! We've had a wonderful surprise today from our loving family again! They sent us four buffaloes! Real, all-American, 2000-pounds buffaloes! We couldn't believe our eyes!
I have to explain that having buffaloes, even for us vegetarians, is a rare treat. The majority of the existing buffaloes are bred in ranches for their meat, and the few wild ones are protected by laws, because of their status. So we're careful when hunting them, and we don't usually buy our meals. But those come from a ranch, and they were enormous!
We played a little with them, see the video below. Alice had a great time dodging hers and jumping on its back. We made our own rodeo in the courtyard. And I can assure you that all the Volturi watched the show from their windows! Some were disgusted, but the majority actually envied us!
Then we drank the buffaloes' blood, and boy was it good! Large herbivores like the buffalo can gain a spicy flavour when riled up before drinking from it. The rodeo did that, and it was a five-star meal for us! Thanks again, Cullens! We love you!
