My Little Pony: Origins.
Chapter Twenty.
A Fractured Bond Part III.
"Mom, who the fuck is Shooting Star?!" Flurry shouted, Cadence let out a gasped shock, she had unknowingly put herself in it
"No one." Cadence lied through her teeth.
"Who is she!?"
"NO ONE!"
"WHO THE FUCK IS SHE!"
"SHE WOULD OF BEEN YOUR OLDER SISTER HAD I NOT LOST HER!" Cadence screamed through her forming tears.
Flurry took a step back, she had never seen her mother this angry in her life and she genuinely felt scared.
"Mom... Calm down." She trembled, stepping back some more, backing up against the writing desk.
"I will not fucking calm down!" Cadence roared, her horn sparking and fizzing as her anger grew, "I am your fucking mother, you don't talk to be like that!" A random beam of pure magic erupted from her horn, shattering one of the windows. Cadence stood their panting, she looked in the mirror and saw herself, "Oh my god..." She said in dismay, "Did i do that?" She looked at the glassless window. Flurry Heart was trembling in the corner of the room, Cadence sat on the bed and started to sob into her hooves, "I'm so sorry Flurry Heart." She sobbed, "I shouldn't of snapped like that." She trembled, "I'll leave you be!" She cried, sprinting out the room.
Flurry Heart wondered the castle, "Mom!" She called out, opening the mop cupboard and closing it, "Mom!" She opened a door, only to close it after seeing Spike and Twilight in a compromising position.
"Did you hear something Twilight?"
"Keep licking casanova."
Flurry Heart opened the door to the huge library, peeking inside, spotting an object covered in a blanket on one of the sofas. Flurry Heart closed the door behind her and quietly trotted over to the blanket and sat down on the floor in front of the sofa.
"Mom..." Flurry said, lifting up the corner of the blanket.
"Go away..." Cadence muffled under the blanket, "I don't deserve a daughter like you..." She let out a sob.
"Don't say that..." Flurry spoke smoothly, "You are great mom." she tried to comfort her mother.
"If i'm such a great mother, how come my first daughter was a stillborn..." Cadence sighed deeply, "Just leave me be to wallow in self pity. I'm just a useless mare who got knocked up at sixteen..." Cadence curled up into a ball.
Flurry pulled the blanket off Cadence and hopped up onto the sofa, wriggling until she was wrapped in Cadence's wings.
"Mom..." Flurry nuzzled her mother's cheek, "What did Shooting Star look like?"
Cadence let out a sigh, "She was a beautiful pegasus, she looked exactly like me but with slightly darker colours... she had... she had her dad's eyes.." Cadence tightly hugged Flurry Heart.
"Her eyes were open?" Cadence nodded, Flurry shivered at the thought, That's... creepy to say the least, the teenager thought, "Do you miss her?" Flurry asked.
"Yes... Everyday..." Cadence nodded, "I just hope that up there, amongst the stars, she's looking down on us." Cadence looked up at the ceiling.
"Do you by chance know the causes of the stillbirth, if don't mind me asking." Flurry placed her wing over her chest, laying down on it.
"Honestly, no clue." Cadence shook her head, "I was told it was just natural causes but... but it shouldn't of happened to a baby carried to full term. I personally believe it to be a combination of me transforming into an alicorn and or stress of moving to Canterlot." Cadence looked down in sadness, "But the way Celestia told be what the autopsy results, it felt like they weren't being honest with me." Cadence sighed, placing her head back down on the cushion.
"David was her dad, wasn't he?" Flurry raised an eyebrow, Cadence nodded, "Thought so... Does he know?" Cadence nodded again, "So is that why David wasn't around for years?" Flurry asked.
"Not only." Cadence sighed, "Celestia had wrote a letter to the family and told them what happened, i didn't even know she had sent it until today..."
"How come?"
"David kept the letter all these years." Cadence sniffed slightly, "Anyway, dad came to see me and demanded i tell him who the father was, he soon worked it out. He was angry to say the least, nearly beat David to death before i was able to stop him." She looked down, "Then you had the court case where David was found innocent but Mom put a restraining order on him, he wasn't allowed within a mile of the family, and me." Cadence tightly hugged Flurry, "I never saw him again after that, i wrote him letters daily, but never heard a response back so... i just gave up." A lone tear escaped Cadence's eye.
"Does my dad know?"
"Yes, he's known since we first met, he didn't seem to care, because he loves me all the same." Cadence smiled slightly.
"When was her birthday?"
"6:35 Am, Wednesday 30th January 1991. "
"You remember the exact time?"
"Yep, i even remember the exact time you were born."
"Really?"
"Yep, you were born at 12:30pm, Friday 17th March 2000." Cadence smiled proudly, kissing Flurry's forehead.
"Mom, how far pregnant were you when you went into labor?" Cadence paused and took a hard gulp
"I was full term..." Cadence's face fell, "Full 9 months..."
"How did you know you were full term?"
"The autopsy..." Cadence looked away, "The autopsy confirmed so. It stated they she was conceived around 28th April 1990..."
"That is, if i do the math, more or less nine months dead on, give or take a day or two." Flurry worked out in her head, Cadence nodded and smiled.
"Thats right." Cadence smiled, "Me and David did do it on April 28th." She bit her lip, "I remember that day..." She trailed off.
David rolled over in bed, expecting his arm to land on the chest of the beautiful mare he called his girlfriend, instead, his arm landed on the mattress.
"Cadence?..." He mumbled, lifting his head and seeing the lack of the sexy pink pegasus. He sat up and yawned, stretching as he threw off the sheet and climbed out of bed. He walked over to the window and opened the curtain and threw the window open. David lifted his arm up, getting a sniff of his armpit, "I smell disgusting... I better take a shower." He said to himself, thinking about where Cadence had gone off too, "Maybe she's downstairs watching cartoon." He added, grabbing his towel from the wardrobe and leaving his room, to his surprise, he didn't hear the tv on downstairs, "Perhaps she's gone down to the beach today. Good, that means i can be alone for awhile." He added, remembering how Cadence had ran him sore from the endless sex this week while Rose and Jess were visiting family in London.
David shut the bathroom door, not bothering to lock it. He slide the shower door open turning the taps on before taking all his clothes, tossing them aside. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, he flexed slightly before sighing and stepping into the shower.
"Why hello handsome~" David heard Cadence purr as she lent into the bathroom, she shut the door behind her and locked it, quickly pulling off her loss fitting t shirt.
"Cadence?!" David said with embarrassment, quickly covering his manhood in reaction.
"You don't need to hide it babe, i've seen it all before~" She striped off all her clothes, without saying another word, she climbed into the shower and gently started licking the tip of his dick, "Lets wake him up shall we?" She gently kissed the shaft, wrapping her tongue around it.
"Mom?" Flurry waved her hoof in front of Cadence's face "You ok?" She added, Cadence blinked and shook her head.
"Huh? Oh! I'm fine, just remembering something." Cadence smiled, placing a hoof on her necklace, "Flurry Heart, would you like to see a picture of Shooting Star?"
"Don't see why not." Flurry shrugged, Cadence unclipped the necklace and levitated it over to Flurry Heart, opening the locket, Flurry gasped as the picture, "Mom... She looks so pretty... and normal!" Flurry's voice cracked.
"What do you mean 'normal'?" Cadence raised her eyebrow, her voice filled with concern.
"To be perfectly honest, i thought she'd be a centaur." Flurry smiled innocently.
"I see." Cadence stared blankly as Flurry looking at the picture, seeing how sad and tired her mother was, a barely sixteen year old alicorn with visible tear stains running parallel down each cheek.
"I would've loved to of met her..." Flurry said sadly, handing the necklace back to her mother, Cadence brought her into a warm hug.
"She will always be with us." Cadence placed her hoof onto her chest, "She'll be forever in our hearts." Cadence kissed her daughter's forehead.
