Unforeseen Consequences
In the Universe, there were a time and age were wonders of the Universe were explored by everyone, and in this time people with technologies were able to explore other worlds, either to colonize them for resources or Crack the Planet completely for its resources, but this is not what happened for one group. For this one group they sought balance & to balance everything they needed control, and in order to control, they needed to enslave. And so they enslaved, worlds, civilizations, gone were their Culture, they were simply now slaves to them. The Universal Union a name the wrought fear to even being that are eldritch in nature, something that cannot be comprehended because they are not meant to be, and for these beings to fear that… which is comprehensible, then hope flickers and dies. But in times of Desperation, these civilizations needed Hope & so created something to believe in "The-One Freeman" a prophecy that foretells their Defeat and freedom for all. But this is prophecy is not set in stone, as the end is not written… Because Valve won't make Half-Life 3… seriously it's been over 2 Decades and Half-Life: Alyx certainly isn't "The-One Freeman" she's the Vance, not a nerd. Seriously Valve please make Half-Life 3 an actual Half-Life 3 in the style of 2000 and complete the trilogy, no "Epistle 3" doesn't count, it's breaks my Hope and is not considered Canon anymore…
But still even when the Path ahead is Unforeseen in its Consequences, Hope lives and is steadfast to vanquish the Dark… no matter how long it may take… Still, there is Hope. & Hope. Does. Not. Die.
No matter the odds, No matter the time & certainly not the matter of a Company that has spent an unreasonable 2 Decades for the last installment of a Trilogy. Hope Lives on. Always.
