A/N: Hi everyone! Huge thanks to traceybuie, fresh-BLOOD-was-drawn-2night and CoppertopJ for the wonderful reviews! I'm so grateful! Thank you so much!

We're reaching the end, there will be only one chapter left after this one. This little story is finished, so I will post the last chapter tomorrow. I really hope you're still enjoying it! Please tell me about it!

Milan, November 27th, 1.07 pm

Hi vampires! Edward Cullen writing! Sorry I was out of commission for a few days, but I badly needed it, and then events happened.

First, as you noticed, I'm not in Volterra. We're on our way back home, at last. How? will you ask me. Well, fasten your seatbelts.

Our Thanksgiving party had started well enough. Our family surprised us by showing up at the door of our courtyard in Volterra, bringing us bears and moose and making our day. My lovely mate was so happy and emotional. Our friends in the Volturi guard had hunted mountain lions for us, so we invited them to share our nice meal. It was great, and we were having a great time.

And then Aro lost his marbles. He ordered Jane and his guard to attack us, which they couldn't do thanks to Bella's shield. He then took Jane's mate as a hostage, to force Bella to lower her shield. Jane, rightly outraged, unleashed her power on Aro. Chaos ensued. Half of the guards, faithful to Aro, attacked the other half who didn't want to attack us. Bella and I tried to corner Aro, but Chelsea and Demetri released some flammable gas on us, and a flame-thrower. Bella shielded us, and for a few horrible moments I thought she had died saving us. Chelsea and Demetri are dead, like Aro and five guards who had refused to surrender.

Now the remaining Volturi guards have elected our new leaders, who agreed to take this burden for two centuries: Jane, Felix and Othella. I believe we'll hear from them soon enough. Good news, they're all set on becoming vegetarians and encouraging every vampire to forsake human blood and blend in with the humans. No coven will be torn apart for their talents from now on.

We Cullens are free to go back to our country, and we are flying over the Atlantic as I write this. We're so happy and relieved to be reunited with our family! Thank you for your support, dear friends. Things have taken a drastic turn, but I believe it's for the best.

Take care, vampires!

Edward Cullen

From AlaskanWildfire, 1.08 pm: OMG, Edward! You write this all calm and collected while our world has made a U-turn?! I can't believe my eyes!

From SpaininAlaska, 1.09 pm: Is Aro really dead? How? What about Marcus and Caius?

From EdwardCullen, 1.10 pm: Aro is really dead, SpaininAlaska. He was too far gone to recognize his craziness. Marcus and Jane ripped his head off after grabbing him trying to make a run for it and tossed him into the dying fire around my Bella. Not a nice memory. Marcus left Volterra with Heidi, they want to heal from the loss of their respective mates and take their time to decide what they will do. Caius didn't want to step down at first, but he quickly saw that everybody in the guard wouldn't take no for an answer, so he did, very reluctantly. He and Athenodora are still in Volterra, and won't leave. Caius is too afraid of the outside world to venture away.

From DesertDove, 1.11 pm: My mate just told our head of coven, who's shrieking in our basement. Craziness is a disease among older vampires, it seems...

From SecludedEnglishVampire, 1.12 pm: I can't believe it.

From FelixLeader, 1.13 pm: Well, you can believe it, dear SecludedEnglishVampire. It has happened exactly as Edward recounted it. Now Jane, Othella and I are the new Volturi leaders, and Aro is dead. Caius is cowering in his rooms with Athenodora, and Marcus has left with Heidi with the Cullens. Sulpicia is heartbroken, but she's chosen to stay here too.

From TexanNomad, 1.14 pm: What does it mean for us, then, FelixLeader? Does it change anything?

From FelixLeader, 1.15 pm: Absolutely not, dear TexanNomad. We new leaders only want to make small changes. Well, becoming vegetarians can hardly be qualified as a small change, but since we tried we believe it's the best way to stay inconspicuous in this modern world. And we have to have more respect for the human beings. And we will only stay to monitor rogue vampires. We don't need talented guards anymore.

From RomanianRuler, 1.16 pm: That's too good to be true. The Volturi have always been power-hungry tyrants.

From FelixLeader, 1.17 pm: Correction: Aro has always been a power-hungry tyrant. We Volturi have been blindsided by Chelsea's power. Thanks to the Cullens we are now free, and seeing that our actions were bad. Time to change, dear RomanianRuler. You'll be able to judge us on our actions, not our words.

From DesertJackal, 1.18 pm: Well, we will, FelixLeader, but we appreciate your honesty.

From BlondeVenus1915, 1.19 pm: That's good and everything, but now go talk about serious stuff elsewhere, please. This blog is about vegetarian vampires, not politics and such.

From FelixLeader, 1.20 pm: You're right, BlondeVenus1915. My apologies. We've noticed that a lot of vampires are following this blog, though, so it gave us the idea of creating one to reach every vampire around the world. So in a few days you'll find us at Volturi and Vampires, to exchange about everything you want to talk to us about.

From RomanianRuler, 1.21 pm: Free rein in the talking? No retaliation?

From FelixLeader, 1.22 pm: Free rein in the talking and no retaliation, dear RomanianRuler. It's high time we talk about the wrongs of the past, anyway.

From RomanianRuler, 1.23 pm: Fine. Maybe we'll go somewhere with you younglings.

From GrizzlyBear1915, 1.24 pm: This coming from the decrepit old Transylvanian marble statue...

From RomanianRuler, 1.25 pm: Young brat!

From GrizzlyBear1915, 1.26 pm: My point, exactly! ;)

From EdwardCullen, 1.27 pm: No fights on this blog, please! Talk in a gentlemanly, polite manner.

From FashionPixie, 1.28 pm: Men and their testosterone...

From GoldenDoc, 1.29 pm: We don't have any testosterone left, FashionPixie. We're vampires.

From FashionPixie, 1.30 pm: You know what I mean, GoldenDoc. All show of muscles, pissing contest, you pick.

From BookLover87, 1.31 pm: Such poetry on this blog... I don't know if it's better I stop reading what I missed, or go on and be appalled.

From BlondeVenus1915, 1.32 pm: Oh, go on, BookLover87. You'll be entertained. Nice choice of nickname, btw. It's better than the first.

From BookLover87, 1.33 pm: No, it's not, but at least I won't be seen as a meek mate anymore.

From EdwardCullen, 1.34 pm: You're not meek, and never was, love. And I love your new nickname.

From GrizzlyBear1915, 1.35 pm: So pussy-whipped, EdwardCullen!

From ConfederatesNeverDie, 1.35 pm: Nauseatingly cute.

From FashionPixie, 1.35 pm: Aaaaawwwwww!

From BlondeVenus1915, 1.36 pm: Yeah, no testosterone at all, that's a given.

From BookLover87, 1.37 pm: Don't listen to them, my love. You're adorable.

From GrizzlyBear1915, 1.38 pm: Lucky I'm a vampire or I would go puke.

From HappyMumofSix, 1.38 pm: So cute!

See you tomorrow for the last round! Please review!
