Hi. i wanna sleep. I'm posting my new story soon. and I will also be posting stories for my friend who wrote this. So there will be more stories. *Dryly* Yay.

We step into the library and see Hodge sitting at his desk. He looks up and I instinctively tuck my hand back into my pocket.

"What is it now?" he says, clearly annoyed.

Jace walks up to his desk and I follow behind him.

"Do you wanna tell him, or.. " He trails off as I give him a menacing glare. I carefully remove my hand from my pocket and show Hodge the burn. Except there isn't a burn anymore. There's only a slim silver scar on my palm where the burn used to be.

I look at Jace, hoping for some explanation. The confusion on his face tells me that he doesn't know either.

Hodge looks at my hand, then at me. "What did you do now?"

Jace steps closer to the desk. "We need your help, Hodge. And you have to swear not to tell the Clave."

"And why would I do that?"

"Because we won't tell you until you do."

Hodge sighs. "Fine. I swear I won't tell the Clave."

Apparently, that wasn't good enough for Jace. "Swear oOn the Angel."

"I…" Hodge hesitates. "I swear on the Angel."

I start twisting my ring again. "Great, so-"

Jace interrupts me. "Emily's a werewolf."

I slap him.

Hodge looks like I slapped him. "I… it… it's not the full moon yet. How?"

"Silver." If he's as smart as I think he is, that's all the explanation he'll need. Thankfully he is as smart as I thought he was.

¨How terrible,¨ he says, leaning back in his chair. ¨Well, goodbye, Emily.¨
Jace uncrosses his arms, glaring at Hodge. ¨What do you mean, goodbye? You can just kick her out! At least wait until we know her leg is healed-¨

I sigh. ¨Jace, you know the rules. Downworlders aren't allowed in Institutes. Besides, I can walk. It´ll be fine. I'll be fine.¨

Jace obviously disagrees with me, but he nods. ¨At least let me help you pack some stuff. I think there's a pack in Chinatown. It's in an abandoned police station. If you can't find it, ask someone where Jade Wolf is.¨

I nod and turn around, heading back to my room.

Well that went swell, I think, heading back to my room.

I walk in and immediately see the hair that signals a Lightwood. I duck, and a seraph blade soars over my head.

"Are you seriously trying to kill me now, Alec? You know what, just do it. I'm not going to one of those 'observation' rooms." Saying those words make everything seem more real, and a shudder courses through me. I try to play it off, but Alec sees right through the disguise.

¨You´re scared,¨ he observes, pulling another blade out of his belt and setting it on the dresser. ¨And you´re not going to an observation room, you know. Hodge´ll make sure of that.¨

I pick up my backpack from the corner of my room and throw it onto my bed before turning to face Alec. ¨Go away.¨

"Yeah, I'm thinking no."

"Well I'm thinking yes, and it's my room."

¨Well it´s my parents´ house!¨
¨Exactly. And it's MY room!"

That seemed to shut him up. He stomps out and I close the door behind him.

"Well wasn't that just terrific. Now they all want me gone." What is it about me that's so repelling? My attitude? My life? My condition? Isabelle doesn´t care, Hodge wants me out and Alec just tried to kill me. Guess Jace is the only one that doesn't hate me...

Please review. My friend needs some encouragement.
