Chapter 13 No chance here

As Donna felt Harvey's closeness, his scent, and body heat, she shivered and her knees were getting weak, but somehow she managed to stay still and stoic, in reality, the thing she wanted to do was to melt like an ice cube under the sun. Harvey with a smug smile chuckled

"Everything ok?", they were interrupted by Walker who was walking backstage.

"Yeah, everything is perfect", Harvey said while he stepped back just one bit, not allowing Donna to talk at all, meanwhile, Donna held her breath.

"Honey, can you come and show me where the correct outlet is to connect the electricity? I can't remember If it is the left one or the right one", said Donna with a melodic and sweet voice to Walker, and with a low voice, she said to Harvey who was close enough to whisper, "No, I'm not into you, I am into him".

Harvey was out of his game, normally he didn't like to mess with girls that were into someone else but in this case, he felt a challenge in her words that had to be taken, turning around just to go back to the speaker.

"Ok so the outlet that have the correct voltage for the speakers is this on the right", said Walker when he entered the backstage, Donna that stud immobile she was trying to grasp how she was going to deal with the elephant on the room, one she was not a price for a womanizer (he had that aura) and two she wanted him, it was all over her senses this was just something that she never experience, she had felt poppy love when she was a teenager, and with Raul she felt lust, but this guy was something else, not just physical, and that feeling was scary.

Walker didn't know what was going on with her, but he played along, he kept helping Harvey to connect the equipment, while Donna got to her usual chores.

Harvey was a little bit disappointed that apparently, he had no chance with this girl, he knew that the only thing that could come from pursuing her was only a summer fling because he was not looking for something serious, after all, he only had a 2-week suspension and he had to return to Harvard to finish his education, but he knew that this girl was something special.

Also, he had set high goals as a professional and he had no time to get involved emotionally with anyone and the Scotty experience taught him a lesson caring only makes you weak, if they think you care they'll walk all over you like she did and he had no time for that, but something deep in insight he told him that he had to try to get to know her, there was a strange feeling about her, he like her a lot and there was something about her that had him intrigued, he didn't want to get him or the band in trouble over a girl so he decided to cool down and not do something stupid after all Walker seemed like a good guy and he definitely was not going to mess with any relationship.

After Walker finished helping Harvey, he went to search for Donna. He was intrigued by the way she called him "Honey", she never called anyone like that, if it was not in a sarcastic voice or to suit someone to comfort them, she was affectionate but not corny. He found her doing the inventory.

"So, can you tell me what happened back there, "honey"?", he asked sarcastically, Walker was a very good friend with Joe, and he had grown to be a very good friend with Donna, he felt very protective of her.

"Nothing, It's just that I have been bumping into this guy and I don't want him to think I am into him. He seems to be very conceited", Donna said a little bit annoyed that she had to justify her actions.

"So, you are playing hard to get" Walker smirked

"No, I just think that it is not a good idea to get involved with someone like him", she sights

"Someone attractive and mysterious?" Walker tease her

"Yeah, something like that, what good can come of this? ", she wondered out loud

"And what would happen when Ryan comes around? You know that I love you but I'm not getting back in the closet for you if my boyfriend wants to kiss me, I will do it", he laughed

"As far as he knows I'm into you not the other way around and is not like you don't have your female fan club, sometimes we like to go behind impossible man, the handsome, muscular, big ones, I like very much a man with a beard", she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Do whatever you want but please don't get me involved with it. And I am serious" Walker grimaced

"Don't worry you are not going to be involved" Donna approached him and hugged him, with the corner of her eyes she saw Harvey approaching them, so she decided to test her luck and gave a peck on the lips to Walker, and reached his ear to tell him "Sorry last time" Walker made a confused and annoyed look to Donna.

From where Harvey was coming he could only see the back of Walker so he couldn't see his annoyed expression, his blood suddenly heated up a notch, he found himself jealous. Donna didn't wait for any reaction and she got away like a leaf that was flown by the wind.

"Ahem, sorry to interrupt, just to let you know that we are good to go, and the rehearsal is over, so the band is going to go for a burger and they will start at 11 the first set", Harvey said, shrinking his shoulders, trying not to be more awkward the moment.

"That's ok, let me know if you need anything please", Walker said comprehending what just happened.

(Yeah to drop dead) Harvey thought, but instead, he smiled at Walker and went his way. Why did this girl affect him so much? He had to stop giving her that much importance, he knew that one of the main reasons that he wanted her was because he couldn't have her. So, he was frustrated, he was going to take a different approach.

Through the night Harvey kept glancing at Donna at the bar, he didn't approach her anymore and decided instead to get to know more local girls, and he was very popular with them, Donna was a little bit upset her prediction was right, he was a womanizer one moment he was on to her and other he was on to the next girl available, - that was so predictable- she thought.

Later on, that night after the band's last set, Harvey was chatting with this very blond barbie girl when he noticed Donna going out the back door, and he got curious so he decided it was a good time to go to the van and see if everything was okay with the music instruments.

Donna was getting inside Joe's jeep, she gave Joe a big embrace and laughed at something he used, who was this new guy and why was she leaving with him? Somehow this looked different like he was his brother or something but he wasn't sure, how many guys existed in her life? He had noticed all night long that several guys approached her and she just kindly refused them. This was such a challenge to him.

As he approached the van, Donna notice Harvey that was reflected in the left mirror of the jeep, she was glad her day was over, this day was too strange for her, and for once she was happy it was over, on the other hand, she knew she wanted to see him again.

A/N Wow! So we reached the last chapter I have written up to the moment, and Huston we have a problem, I would like to say that next week will have an update but I am not quite sure that I will have one I will work extra hard to do it, but I don´t intend to write without the proper inspiration so please have patience, I promise I will do my best!
