I don't own the Loud House.
Wow, a lot of you enjoyed the last chapter a lot. I guess a little bit of drama does the story some good. Now I don't want to spoil anything but I will just say that Stella's part in the story isn't over just yet.
Also, I had two more commissions made up and they were cover art for two of my stories. Too Many Dates and What She Didn't Know both have new covers and they look amazing. They were drawn by an artist that goes by the name of Zetsuumei. If you do look them up, be warned that most of their art is NSFW. But they did an amazing job and I love my new covers. When you're done reading this, go and read my other stories if you haven't already and let me know what you think.
Enjoy.
Terms of A Dress
Chapter 6
After their mall date (and yes Nikki was calling it their mall date), Nikki noticed that Lincoln was a little more relaxed around her. They spent the rest of the day at his house just playing games with his younger sisters and watching TV. Nikki couldn't remember a time where she had laughed so much in one day.
But ever since she heard about what his family had done, Nikki began to notice the guilty looks in the sisters' eyes. She hadn't noticed it before but now it was obvious to her. She also assumed that they were being nice to her because they didn't want a repeat of what happened with Stella.
And speaking of, Nikki's heart went out to the poor girl. She couldn't even begin to imagine what it must've been like for her to have to endure something like that and at the hands of her boyfriend's family. A part of her felt bad for moving in on what she felt was Stella's turf but she couldn't help it. She couldn't help falling for the lovable dork and she wanted to talk to Stella again. She wasn't sure what she would say but she wanted to speak with her before things went any further with Lincoln.
And as she sat on Lincoln's bed, Nikki wondered if perhaps Lincoln would be willing to take her to speak with her tomorrow.
There was a knock on the door and a voice called in. "Nikki, may I come in?"
"Sure..." Nikki replied. She was already dressed in her flannel pajamas and it wouldn't be long before she went to sleep.
The door opened and Lori, Lincoln's oldest sister, stepped in. Nikki had met the older girl twice in the city since Ronnie Anne moved there. Both times it had been because Lori had been visiting her boyfriend, Bobby, and both times she had also met Lincoln. Nikki watched as Lori stepped in and closed the door behind her. But when the door snapped closed, Nikki tensed without meaning too and Lori noticed it.
The order girl stopped where she was, staring at Nikki. "I take it Lincoln has told you what happened?" Lori asked but she already knew the answer.
Nikki nodded slowly. She wasn't sure how to respond to her so she didn't.
Lori sighed before sitting down at the desk chair. "You can't imagine how ashamed of myself I am for that. I wish I had never been stupid enough to let myself get fooled by those rumors."
"But you did." Nikki found herself saying. She was honestly having a hard time finding any sympathy for the Loud girl. Sure, Lori and her sisters had been fooled just like everyone else had but she should have known better. She should have trusted Lincoln's judgement.
"I know there's no excuse for my actions." Lori said, nodding. "I know that you probably don't think kindly of us..." Lori let that hang but Nikki didn't confirm nor deny her feelings. When Nikki didn't speak up, Lori looked crestfallen but she quickly hid it with a smile. "Right. Well, I actually came here to talk to you about something else, believe it or not. But before that, I want to know, do you have feelings for my little brother?"
Nikki couldn't help it. "Are you gonna try and throw me out half naked if I say that I do?" She remarked with a venom that surprised both of them. Once she realized what she had said, she tried to apologize but Lori shook her head.
"No, it's alright. I deserve that." Lori said, holding a hand up to silence the younger blonde. "It's okay if you do, I mean, I already know that you have a crush on him, Ronnie Anne told me when she called me last week."
"Santiago told you!?" Nikki blurted out, her cheeks suddenly burning with embarrassment. "Why the hell would she tell you that?"
"Because she wanted to help both of her friends out." Lori stated simply.
"I don't follow."
"Last week, Ronnie Anne called me asking me about why Lincoln had seemed so depressed lately. And I told her everything..." Lori sighed. "She had a lot of choice words to say to me that day." Lori chuckled. "But eventually she calmed down and then asked if I would be willing to talk to my parents about having you stay the week with us. She explained that she was going to trick you into a bet that she knew you would lose and as a result she would send you over here and make you dress up."
"That little shit!" Nikki cursed.
This made Lori smile. "I think it's rather cute that you love my brother enough to dress like that for him."
"N-No one said anything about l-love!" Nikki said, feeling her cheeks burn once more.
"Of course." Lori said with a wink. "But anyways, she told me that you had confessed to her about having a crush on Lincoln but that you seemed sad that you couldn't see him that often. And that's when she came up with her plan. And as you can see, it worked perfectly."
"Yea except for the fact that I have to dress up like a fucking doll everyday." Nikki scowled. She crossed her arms over her chest as she glared at her pack that lay on the floor next to the wall. "When I pictured being with Lincoln, I always thought that I would do it as myself, not this fake girly girl that I have to be."
"Nikki, I can assure you that Lincoln doesn't care how you dress." Lori told her. "If he likes you it's because you're worth it."
"Just like how Stella was worth it?" Nikki said but this time she didn't try to hide her dislike for the older girl.
Lori flinched as if physically struck. She turned her gaze down towards her lap and Nikki sighed.
"I'm sorry...I guess I'm still a little pissed off with you guys for what you put Lincoln through." Nikki said.
"It's okay..." Lori said but she didn't sound like it was, she sounded like she was on the verge of tears. "Nothing you could say would be worse than what I've been telling myself for what I put Lincoln and Stella through."
"I asked Lincoln if he had forgiven you guys yet..." Nikki confessed. "I'm sure it doesn't surprise you to know that he hasn't."
"We don't deserve to be forgiven." Lori said, reaching up in order to dry her eyes.
"I also told him that I would take him away from this place if he wanted to." Nikki wasn't sure why she was admitting these things to Lori but she felt a strange compulsion towards the older girl. "I mean, it's not like you girls deserve such an amazing guy."
At this tears began to fall from Lori's eyes as she silently began to sob. Nikki wasn't sure where she was going with it but she knew that part of her wanted to see Lori cry. She wanted to make sure that Lori was genuine and she guessed that Lori really did regret what she had done.
Getting up from the bed she walked over to the sobbing girl and she awkwardly patted her head. "There. There."
This made Lori chuckle. "You're not very good at this, are you?" She joked.
"Not really. I don't normally deal with my emotions, I just bury them until they die inside of me." Nikki said.
"Lucy, I didn't see you come in." Lori said as she wiped her eyes with her shirt. She then grinned at the girl with a little sniff. "I know that's a lie. After all, Lucy told me all about the sheets and how they needed to be changed this morning."
Nikki cursed as she blushed again. She should have sworn Lucy to secrecy or something.
Seeing the panicked look on Nikki's face, Lori placed a calming hand on her shoulder. "Relax, I'm just busting your balls."
"You're not gonna tell your brother about that, right?" Nikki asked.
"Of course not. We promised Lincoln that we wouldn't meddle in his life anymore unless he asked us for help." Lori said. She stood up from the chair and gave Nikki a smile. "But that doesn't mean that we can't help you out."
"What do you mean?" Nikki asked.
"I asked you earlier if you liked my brother, which you obviously do." Lori said. "And the reason I asked is because my sisters and I have a little gift for you."
"And what's that?" Nikki asked, confused.
"Do you want to spend the night with Lincoln?" Lori asked.
Nikki sputtered as she backed away from the older girl, her face glowing crimson at the implications. Seeing her like that, Lori started chuckling.
"Not like that, you naughty girl." She said with a grin. "I meant like just cuddling."
"B-But I haven't even told him that I like him yet..." Nikki pointed out, her mind racing as she tried her best not to panic as both her excitement and her fear skyrocketed. "What if I'm reading this all wrong? What if he doesn't like me like that?"
"Will you relax? Lincoln totally likes you." Lori assured her. "If you haven't noticed, he's been smiling ever since you arrived. Before that, he would rarely smile while in the house."
"B-B-But it's too soon! I don't think I'm mentally prepared for this!" Nikki said, her breathing quickening.
"It's okay, if you're not ready then we don't have to do this." Lori said quickly, trying to calm the girl down. But as soon as she said that, Nikki's head snapped back towards hers.
"Fuck that! Let's do this!" Nikki said.
"Well that was quick." Lori noted dryly.
"Dude, I'm only here for five more days, if I get to spend even one night cuddling with him then this will be worth it. I'll deal with the emotional baggage later, now how are we gonna do this?" Nikki asked.
Lori just grinned.

Nikki stood outside of the garage door ten minutes later wearing one of Lori's robes and slippers. She knocked on the door and waited for Lincoln to get up. She heard him mutter to himself before he made his way over and opened the door to see her standing there, smiling at him.
"Hey, Silvervale, can I come in?" She asked playfully.
"Nikki, what are you doing here?" Lincoln asked as he stepped aside.
Nikki thanked him as she stepped inside and took a look around. Lori had told her that the garage had been remodeled to be a guest house/studio when she was fighting with Leni and wanted her own room. But she eventually made up with her sister and moved back in. They left the garage as is and mainly used it when they brought friends over and they didn't want to be bothered by the others. Luna would also use it to practice with her band. The garage had hardwood flooring and the back half of the garage was where the studio was at. There was a dividing wall with a single door that led into the guest room.
"So, Linc, care to explain why you had a chest underneath your bed that didn't have porn mags in it?" Nikki asked instead as she made her way inside of the room.
The guest room was sparsely furnished, it had a bed, a dresser, a desk, a full bathroom, and a small kitchen area. As she entered the room, the bedroom was in front of her with the bathroom and kitchen area to her right.
"Why would I need porn mags when I have the internet on my phone?" Lincoln asked. He went over to the kitchen and she saw that he had been in the middle of making tea. "Can I make you a cup?"
"Sure." She had never drank tea before but hey, when in Rome right? "You still didn't answer my question."
"How did you find the chest? Did you go snooping in my room?" Lincoln asked but he wasn't upset, his tone had a hint of humor as if he were chiding her for being a naughty girl.
"I snooped in your room last night." Nikki said in a matter of fact tone but she hadn't. "Nah, your sisters pulled it out in order to dress Luna up like me. I'll admit, when I saw all of those girl clothes in your chest, I thought you might've been a crossdresser." Nikki accepted her cup of tea with a thanks and she sat down at the desk. "I thought it was kind of hot."
Lincoln chuckled. "Of course you would. While I'm no stranger to dressing like a girl, I'm not a crossdresser, sorry."
"Damn...well, I guess you're still cute as you are." Nikki said with a wink.
"The chest is for when we need to cover for one of our siblings. Sometimes mom and dad will go away on a trip or work late and they'll video call to make sure that someone is home like they're supposed to. We'll dress up as each other and pretend to be whoever we're dressed as so that no one gets in trouble."
"I have to admit, that's pretty a creative way to not get into trouble." Nikki admitted.
"Thanks, I came up with it when I was 7." Lincoln said.
"No way." Nikki didn't believe him. "How does a 7 year old come up with something like that?"
"Well, I am a comic book nerd and I always wanted to be a hero. So when my sister Lori was in trouble, I wanted to save her and be her hero." Lincoln said, explaining the logic of his 7 year old self. "We dressed Leni up to look like Lori and mom and dad never found out because the smartphones back then didn't have the best video quality. Now we have to use a little make up and other props but we can still pull it off."
"The more I learn about you, the more I think that you're too good to be true, Lincoln." Nikki said as she stared at him. He really was noble to a fault, imitating his childhood heroes and finding ways to save the day. All of the stories that she had heard over the last two days always had one recurring theme; when shit hit the fan, Lincoln saved the day. It was always him and she guessed that the nickname 'the man with the plan' was because of that.
"I'm not that good, though. There are times when I can be selfish." Lincoln said, staring down at his tea. "There are times when I'm the one in trouble and my sisters come to my rescue."
"Lincoln, you do know that you can be selfish, right? It's okay to want things for yourself from time to time." Nikki said. She had set her tea down on the desk and she went over to sit beside him on the bed. "You don't have to be so selfless every damn day. Fuck, I wish that you were more selfish so that maybe I wouldn't feel so lacking when I compare myself to you."
"You want me to be selfish?" Lincoln asked quietly.
"Yes, dude, please think a little more about yourself for a change." Nikki urged him.
Lincoln set his cup of tea on the nightstand beside his bed and turned to look into Nikki's eyes. "Okay..."
Nikki was surprised when she felt his right arm wrap around her waist, placing his hand on the small of her back while at the same time placing his left hand on the back of her neck. Lincoln pulled her in close and placed his lips upon hers, giving her her first kiss. She wasn't sure what was happening but she wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. She wrapped her arms around him and eagerly kissed him back.
Admittedly, she was pretty sloppy at kissing since she had never made out with anyone but she eagerly learned how to do it properly. And boy, did she have a great teacher. When he kissed her, Nikki could feel the strength of his emotions. She could feel how lonely he felt since the breakup with Stella, his need for companionship, and his longing to just not feel like an individual like his sisters made him. He wanted to be a part of something, some one, and right now he wanted to be a part of her. And Nikki gladly let him be a part of her, she loved him after all.
She wasn't sure when it had happened but her crush had grown to the point of love and the last two days of getting to know him only cemented her feelings. She wanted nothing more than to make him feel her love for him and to let him bask in it until he felt safe, secure, and most importantly, loved. Because she could tell that he felt like his family didn't really love him despite the fact that they did. In his head he knew that they did but because they had hurt him, he secretly feared that they didn't and he had closed his heart to them. He went through the motions with them but it was no longer the same and everyone felt it.
Maybe Lincoln didn't love her like she loved him but she was fine with that. She could be patient until he caught up but right now that wasn't important. What mattered was that he needed to feel loved and she showed him. Over and over again.
And the next morning, Nikki woke up to the sound of shattering glass and a loud gasp. Opening a tired eye, glanced up and saw Lori standing in the doorway with her coffee cup lying in pieces on the floor.
"Oh my god..." She heard Lori say before she remembered what had happened the night before.
"It's not what it looks like!" Nikki said as she raised her head from Lincoln's bare chest only to reveal her own as the blanket fell off her shoulder.
"Oh my god...oh my god...oh my god..." Lori kept on repeating. She literally could not process what she was seeing. Finally she decided to simply turn around and leave.
Nikki stayed like that as she listened to the footsteps of the older blonde as Lori seemed to be pacing back and forth outside of the studio in the front half of the garage. After a few moments, she watched as Lori marched back in and closed the door behind her.
"Tell me the truth, did you two have sex?" Lori asked, trying desperately to sound calm but she couldn't quite hide her rising panic.
"Would you believe me if I said no?" Nikki asked her.
"Did you!?" Lori asked, her voice reaching a higher pitch.
"We did. We totally did." Nikki said in a sarcastic tone. "Linc's dick is so huge that he couldn't fit it in my pussy so he had to stick it in my butt and we did it all night. I'll be shitting cum for days now with how much he pumped into my cute little ass."
"Nikki! This is serious!" Lori said, growing frustrated with the younger blonde.
"Will you relax, woman? We didn't have sex last night, we only made out a little and I maybe sucked him off a couple of times." Nikki said as she threw the covers off. She wasn't wearing her pajama bottoms and had only slept with her panties on. She raised her hips in order to show Lori that there were no red stains anywhere on the white sheets. "See? Linc didn't pop my cherry last night."
Seeing that the sheets were relatively clean, Lori visibly relaxed. Releasing a heavy sigh, she gave the younger blonde a relieved look. "You have no idea the kind of bullet you just dodged."
"What do you mean?" Nikki asked, confused. "Would having sex with Linc really be that bad?"
"No, I'm pretty sure that it would be amazing considering who he is." Lori admitted, blushing a bit. "But in case you haven't noticed, the Loud gene is very potent. If you had sex with Lincoln without using birth control then you would have ended up pregant."
Nikki's eyes widened. "O-Oh..." She was not ready to be a mother.
"Yea, that's why I was literally having a panic attack because it would have been my fault since I'm the one who sent you down here. And then both your lives would've been ruined and Lincoln would end up hating me more than he already does." Lori confessed. "Sorry if I freaked out on you..."
"It's okay. I guess I kind of deserved it for being a smart ass." Nikki said.
It was at that moment that Lincoln began to stir and both Lori and Nikki watched as he reached out for Nikki and pulled her close. He raised himself up and kissed her unaware that Lori was watching the whole thing.
"Morning, Nikki..." he said with a yawn. "Last night was amazing...thank you..."
Nikki's face was crimson and her eyes quickly turned to look at Lori, who looked like she wanted to both laugh at her and go 'awe' at the same time.
"Y-Yea...it was good for me too." Nikki said.
"Did you still want to hop in the shower with me?" Lincoln continued, still unaware of another person in the room. He kissed her shoulder before he looked up and grinned at her. "We did work up a sweat last night..."
It was at this moment that Lori decided to speak up. She cleared her throat, making Lincoln jump in the bed, turning white as he looked up at her amused smile.
"L-L-Lor! It's not what it looks like!" Lincoln said as he tried to cover them up with the blankets.
"Save it, twerp, your little girlfriend already tried that." Lori said as she crossed her arms underneath her chest, her smile still present.
At hearing Lori call Nikki his girlfriend, both Nikki and Licoln protested at the same time. "I'm/She's not his/my girlfriend." this only made Lori's smile grow as she raised her left eyebrow in question. Both preteens blushed as they looked away from one another but it was Lincoln that spoke first.
"I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend yet..." Lincoln said.
Hearing the word 'yet' filled Nikki's heart with joy because a part of her was unsure if he liked her, even after what they did last night. It might be obvious that he was attracted to her but did that translate to him having feelings for her? But it seemed like her fears had been unfounded as he appeared to have real feelings for her that went beyond simple lust.
"I'll leave you two alone then so that you can properly ask her out, Lincoln. After all, it's not nice to play with a pretty girl's heart." Lori made her way towards the door. "I almost forgot, breakfast will be ready soon so get cleaned up. Luna can't keep pretending to be Nikki all day."
Lincoln turned to look at Nikki and saw that she was staring down at her right hand which she used to prop herself up. Her left was awkwardly placed on her right shoulder leaving her arm draped over her chest partially covering her breasts. Seeing her breasts brought back memories of what they did last night making him blush once more.
"S-So..." Lincoln began awkwardly. "Some morning, huh?" He finished with a lame laugh.
Nikki felt herself nod. "Y-Yea...some morning..."
"Nikki, I-" Lincoln began but stopped when Nikki cut him off.
"Let's just go okay?" Nikki said as she quickly crawled over to the foot of the bed where she remembered throwing her clothes last night. "We can talk about this later."
Nikki couldn't explain but suddenly she was terrified of his answer. She recalled last night that while she implied how she felt about him, she never actually told him that she loved him. And he never said anything about how he felt about her despite the fact that he was the one who first kissed her. What if last night had just been a one time thing? What if he only did all of that because he needed a human connection? Just some cheap thrill to make himself feel a little better with a girl that he would only see for a few more days? The fear gripped her chest as she quickly got dressed.
"I'll see you at breakfast, I'm gonna go shower." Nikki said, rushing towards the door.
But just before she could make it to the door, she felt a hand on her shoulder. Lincoln spun her around and he stood on his toes while he cupped her face and brought her down for a quick kiss.
"We will talk later." He promised, giving her a large chipped tooth smile.
Nikki felt her heart skip a beat and her stomach felt like she had butterflies in them. She just nodded as a large smile spread across her face. Last night had been exhilarating for her, it was her first sexual experience. But the way she felt at that moment felt a million times better. And she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was in love.
End of chapter.
