"Oh no... we gotta find my friends and family! Roarian, let's head up to search!"
Roarian nodded, and they all headed out of the house. Roarian flew up into the sky, glancing around to find them.
"Do you see anything?!" Blaze cried.
"No, none yet-"
"Blaze!"
"Crusher?" The red truck turned to see the dark blue truck race over.
"There you are! Oh, I've been looking everywhere for you! You okay?"
"I'm fine, but what happened while I was gone?!"
"Krisha and Calvin." Crusher snarled. "We all went back to your home to wait for you to come back. That's when they attacked."
"Did you see which way they went?" Landeera asked.
"No, but… uh, who are you exactly?" Crusher stared at the spirit wolf in confusion.
"This is Landeera, my spirit wolf," Blaze explained. "With her help, my... our parents will be gone for good."
"That's great, but... can't you magic beings do something to find them?" Crusher asked.
"It is not as simple," Roarian shook his head. "Magic tracking can be quite difficult,"
"Then... how will we find them?" Crusher wondered.
"We'll just have to work together and find them somehow," Blaze reassured him. "We might not have tracking magic but maybe we can use something to help track them,"
"Like what?"
"Like... like..." Blaze took one look at Landeera and gasped. "Landeera! She's the answer!"
"She is?"
"Yeah! Wolves have incredible senses of smell-- so powerful, Landeera could track Calvin and Krisha down!"
"Good idea, Blaze!" Landeera smiled and took a sniff of the air. "Ah! I have their scent, along with many others,"
"Follow it! We can't lose them!"
They dashed to follow the wolf spirit, who was sniffing out the scent as much as she could. They were soon led to the park, where they found Pickle tied up to a tree.
"Pickle!" Blaze and Crusher gasped, rushing to him.
"Blaze! Crusher! You're okay!" Pickle sighed in relief.
"Are YOU okay?!" Blaze asked as Crusher tried to untie him.
"Yeah... just shaken."
"Did you see the others and my family?"
"N-No, I-"
"GOTCHA!"
The group gasped as Krisha and Calvin appeared with guns.
"Oh no..."
"Surprise!~" Krisha cackled. "Now I get to finally finish you BOTH off!"
"Uh... Landeera?" Blaze whimpered. "I could sure use that 'all the power I need to stand my ground' right now!"
"Just be confident, and you'll be fine." Landeera advised.
Blaze nodded and drove forward to face them.
"Mother, you are nothing but a cold hearted, hunk of metal with a heart of stone. And Father? Ugh... where do I begin?" Blaze hissed and growled. "There's no use of comparing it. You are BOTH horrible parents. Horrible beings, in general! You threw away Crusher, my brother, because you hated him. Then you abused ME!"
"You have no say--" Krisha began, but the golden, fiery glow coming from Blaze's eyes made her stop.
"I'm not finished..." Blaze snarled.
Crusher and Pickle looked surprised, never once seeing Blaze angry THIS much as they backed up.
"You made me question all these years who I really was! Was I Smoke? Or was I Blaze? Now I know. I was NEVER Smoke-- I was always Blaze, defender of Axle City, son of Phoenix and Flame, brother of AJ and Sparkle, and I will never question myself again, because I know, I can't possibly be a relative... of... YOU!!!!"
His whole body burned in flames as he ranted, teeth gritting as the fire made his eyes glow gold. Pretty soon, the magic made him turn into a phoenix with powers so amazing, he was able to encase Calvin and Krisha in flames, and they soon melted away!
As they screamed in agony, their markings were left in the dirt as Blaze sank back to the ground, turning back to normal, but all out of breath.
"Woah…" Crusher's jaw dropped. "That was… unbelievable…"
